[attr="class","ws"] [attr="class","h"]Quinn [attr="class","fc"] [attr="class","bi"]REAL NAME: Quinn Jacobs [attr="class","bi2"]REAL GENDER: Male [attr="class","bi2"]GENDER: Male [attr="class","bi2"]AGE: 18 years old [attr="class","bi2"]SEXUALITY: Asexual [attr="class","bi2"]FACE-CLAIM: Aru Akise, Future Diary [attr="class","bi2"]PLAYED BY: Eadon [attr="class","h2"]Appearance [attr="class","b"]As far as people and players in Elder Tale go, Quinn is really unusual only for his white hair and red eyes. While albinism isn't quite so terribly uncommon as it is often made out to be, that he would choose to be an albino in a game where he no longer has to be says something about Quinn's character. Physically, he is pretty much average personified. Not particularly strong, or particularly weak, Quinn stands at about 5' 10" and weighs in at a perfectly ordinary 60 or so kilograms. His body is not really adorned with anything in the way of scars, tattoos or other distinctive features, though he doesn't doubt for a second that sooner or later this won't be the case. This is a combat game, after all, and there are all kinds of opportunities for injury, death and the acquisition of power enhancing tattoos. Quinn's preferred clothing choice is anything in black, grey or some other muted colour. He isn't shy about his body, and will often wear tank tops, and is not adverse to going completely shirtless if it gets too hot. That said, his clothing choice also steers more towards practicality than decorative. Any article has to serve some purpose, whether that be good boots that let him run and protect his feet or clothing that doesn't restrict his movement too much in a fight. His hair is usually kept quite short, and neat. The white colour contrasts in a way with his very red eyes which has a tendency to make him seem somewhat scary, or at least brooding, to other players and NPC's alike. He doesn't exactly come across as the kind of guy you would want to be friends with, more the kind you would cross the street to avoid. In real life, Quinn was much the same physically as he is in this world, if a lot skinnier and more wild. He couldn't really convey borderline starvation, through the character creator, after all. Full pic: click me [attr="class","h3"]Personality [attr="class","b"]Cynical, borderline psychotic and likely suffering from an interesting combination of bipolar disorder and extreme paranoia, Quinn is about as likely to punch a complete stranger in the face as he is to talk to them, depending entirely on his mood at the time. That said, he isn't completely insane. Quinn is very much a high functioning psychopath, able to convince others that he is a perfectly rational and functioning human being if it suits his purposes. A completely screwy sense of right and wrong mixed in with an innate distrust of people, makes Quinn not exactly the friendliest of people. While he may suffer from severe trust issues, and more often than not want to hurt the person he is talking to than actually interact with them, most people tend to think he is just quiet. Generally not talking much, Quinn has learned that by acting invisible, people don't pay attention to you and will happily believe whatever they want about you as a person. While his trust may be hard to come by, once you do acquire it Quinn can be fanatically loyal and a great person to have by your side in a conflict of any kind. The first step to earning that trust though, is making Quinn respect you. A hard feat, in and of itself. Of course, a person doesn't get to be quite so messed up for no reason. Abandoned as a child by his parents and forced to grow up on the streets, selling drugs and living as part of a gang, Quinn really never stood a chance of being a normal person. In between juvenile detention, various criminal charges and a history as a troubled youth, Quinn did however manage to earn some positive traits. Quinn is smart. He also will point blank refuse to ever hurt a child, no matter the circumstances. If he does, it brings back too many painful memories of his own childhood, and what colder, nastier people did to him. While not exactly chivalrous, it can be a redeeming quality. He also has a bizarre love for architecture and artwork, and can become surprisingly human in his appreciation of finer works. In the end he is just as human as anyone else, if a bit more troubled, cynical and untrusting. He has been hurt by people who supposedly love him too many times for him to ever truly trust. Even so, he is vulnerable in his own way, his feelings easily hurt and almost childlike in his innocence and naivety in some things. [attr="class","h3"]History [attr="class","b"]Born to a mother who never really wanted him, Quinn was dumped outside an orphanage shortly after birth. He never knew who his father was, and never really wanted to. Growing up in London as an orphan and a ward of the state, Quinn quite literally had no-one and nothing. Being an albino, his life was particularly hard with the other children teasing him endlessly, and calling him all kinds of hurtful names. It was no surprise to anyone that he quickly fell in with the wrong crowd, leaving the orphanage for the streets and a life of petty crime. There, he truly developed into a person best avoided. Cynical, and abrasive, from a life lived as a social outcast, unwanted and unloved by anyone, Quinn quickly rose to power within the underworld he had found himself in through sheer force of will and his own wits. In such a cutthroat world, you leared to adapt and be smart, or you were dead. It was as simple as that. Eventually, he managed to afford a small apartment, living off of his crime and controlling a small gang of other youths that terrorised his neighbourhood and controlled the drug trade in the area. It was not a pretty life, but it was better than anything he had done before. So good in fact, that he even had free time to waste on things like computer games. It was through this, that he found himself trapped in Elder Tale. It disgusted him in a way, just how innocent and naive all of his fellow adventuerers proved to be. They were hopelessly trusting, and seemed more intent on making this world a better place than anything. It wasn't some utopia, though. They were trapped in a world of monsters. And not all monsters were NPC's. [attr="class","h3"]Extra [attr="class","b"]Right handed. AB- blood type. Likes sushi, and cats. |

After a completed PvP thread, if the Hitman was victorious in battle, they gain an amount of gold equal to the amount that they acquired from their posts. The PvP thread is then locked after this bonus is applied. To apply this bonus, PvP fights cannot be solo threads versus NPCs. [attr="class","skill"]Skill Name: Timber: Toggle skill (level 1, Woodcrafter): Woodcrafters naturally have an affinity for chopping and carving wood, making their abilities key in harming monsters that happen to be arboreal in nature. Woodcrafters deal 20% more damage to Plant-type monsters. They can also cancel buffs on Plant-type monsters upon a successful hit. [attr="class","skill"]Skill Name: Flameburst (Tier I Skill): This skill involves the Druid thrusting forward the spell. Then after a second's cast time, an attack resembling a flamethrower is fired forward in a cone-shaped pattern. Enemies in the flame radius are scorched, causing their HP to gradually decrease every few seconds for about ten seconds. [attr="class","skill"]Skill Name: Heartbeat Healing (Tier I Skill): One of the Druid's signature healing spells, Heartbeat Healing is a spell that covers the target in a sparkling green light and delivers gradual HP regeneration to the target every few seconds. It is the primary and most potent spell of the healing core, with many other healing spells rotated in between. [attr="class","skill"]Skill Name: Nature Revive (Tier I Skill): A revival skill on par with the Cleric's Resurrection skills. It can only be used if the target has only been incapacitated within the last 10 seconds. This skill will bath the target in blue light and resurrect them with low HP. There is also a slow HP regeneration effect upon revive. The only downside to this ability is that a target cannot be revived again by this skill for two minutes, so the party should quickly support them back up to a safe state as soon as possible. [attr="class","skill"]Skill Name: Familiar: Grey Wolf (Tier I Skill): A summoning ability usable by the Druid class, which brings forth a Grey Wolf pup to fight beside them. The wolf excels in physical offense and speed, making it an excellent companion for those wanting to improve their DPS. However, it is a little more fragile than other beginner familiars such as the Alraune, so caution should be exercised when dealing with tough monsters. The wolf's signature ability is a high-speed pounce that can bounce over to strike nearby foes within a second, although this skill does come with a cooldown of 20 seconds. The wolf's abilities and appearance becomes more impressive as the skill ranks up, increasing the familiar's size. When a Familiar summoning skill is used, any Familiars currently active are canceled. [attr="class","skill"]Skill Name: Brilliant Prism (Tier I Skill): The Druid utilizes the power of water to create a large number of bubbles that float about in the air. These bubbles are then aligned in a way where they act as a sunlight-conducting lens, magnifying the light to create an intense beam which strikes the target for light-based damage. In the absence of sunlight, a light source that generates heat such as a flame can be used as a substitute, but the casting time will be lengthened. [attr="class","h3"]Equipment [attr="class","b2"] [attr="class","skill"]Armor: Starter Leather Armor: A basic set of soft leather armor made from cheap leather. They are not really protective, but they are better than going naked—probably. You probably do want to replace these asap, when you think about it. [attr="class","skill"]Left Hand: Starter Staff: A two-handed starter weapon designed for novice adventurers, made out of cheap wood. It is typically used to channel magic, but can also be used to whack people on the side of the head. You probably should get this replaced as soon as you can. [attr="class","skill"]Right Hand: None.
