Appearance Mindell stands fairly tall, about 6'2". He has shaggy blonde hair, is lean, but muscular, and sports thin, blue eyes. This isn't too far off of what he looks like in real life (Abraham himself is a bit shorter, about 5'8"), and had brown hair, but he wanted to put as much of himself into his character as possible. Mindell and Abraham both, though, typically tend to dress a bit toney, prefering white prssed shirts, suits, tradtional ties and bowties, and tend to lean more to monochromatic color schemes revolving around whites and blacks. Gold and silver linings, or reds and yellows aren't out of his wheelhouse, though, and even he has the occasional urge to mix it up. He carries himself somewhat relaxed, almost appearing aloof, or disinterested. To the contrary, he is very attentive, but doesn't think that things should be taken so seriously. | Personality Mindell and Abraham both aren't exactly introverted, but more in the background. They like to take in a situation before offering an opinion, and they weigh their responses carefully. That being said, once his mind is made up, he is quick more of a "act now, talk later" minded individual. He works fairly well in small groups, less so in large gatherings. At large parties or gatherings, even in the real world, he could have found having conversations towards the edge of the room with small groups more than being in the thick of things with everyone else. He likes one on one conversation, and getting to know someone on a personal level. That isn't to say that he doesn't enjoy himself in large group settings, he just feels more comfortable when he can work with people he knows he can trust. He isn't quick to trust, but when it is earned, it is unconditional. He likes to gauge a persons abilities and make his own judgements based on merits and detriments. If you say you can accomplish something, or will do your best to do so, he will believe you. Mindell is less worried about getting back home as he is making a life for himself here. If he can help get everyone back to the "real" world, then he will do his utmost to do so. But while he is here, he is more focused on trying to make himself, and by proxy, those around him, as comfortable as possible, and to find meaning and purpose while they are stuck here. All in all, Mindell tries to carry himself with atleast a slight amount of dignity and honor. That isn't to say that he isn't willing to bend the rules of "right and wrong" to do the right thing (a white lie or an ommision of truth done for the right reasons can justify the end-result), but he isn't willing to sully his name, or those of his friends for his own ends. |

Biography
Abraham had a fairly normal childhood. A single child, he had a number of different interests, but it wasn't until around his 4th year in primary school he discorved an avid love for fanasy and science-fiction novels. He was fortunate to share this love with a few of his classmates, and they would talk about their favorite characters and stories, re-enacting them on their days off, or at school during their free time.
in his 6th year, his family moved, and without his friends, Abe became much more reclusive. Still he kept his love for the fantastic and began to play games. Over the next few years, and into his highschool years, he began to make new friends, albeit it slowly, and discovered an entirely new kind of game, MMO's, where he became a single hero in a world of them.
In highschool, he began to channel his fantasy world into his real one, picking up fencing, and becoming a fairly talented acrobat, where he began to make more friends who shared the same sort of love for the fantastic and un-real that he did. One of these firends, Emma Lawson, introduced him to Elder Tale, and he had finally found what he was looking for.
When he first... "Awoke" in the game, he wasn't exactly sure what had happened. At first he just shut down, and had been just scraping by with day to day needs more or less up until this point. Now, coming to grips with where he is, and more importantly, what this means for him, he is bound and determined to make himself into the hero he always thought he could be.

CLASS SKILLS
Main Class: Swashbuckler
Bleeding Spades
: Tier I Skill
This skill coats the weapon or projectile with a small amount of mana that reacts with a foreign target's own bodily mana to create poison in the target's wound. When a target is struck by Bleeding Spades, they take minor poison damage over time for 12 seconds. If Bleeding Spades is used while the target is affected by Viper Raise, the poison duration doubles to 24 seconds. This skill has an animation time of 2 seconds and a cooldown of 12 seconds. If the Swashbuckler uses Bleeding Spades while its poison effect is still affecting the user, its duration will refresh to 12 seconds (24 seconds if Viper Raise's effect is still active).

Blind Bet: Tier I Skill
Attempting to hit a pressure point, the Swashbuckler thrusts the weapon forward as its blade glows a faint blue color. This motion has an animation time of 2 seconds, 1 seconds each strike if dual-wielding. If it makes direct unguarded contact with an opponent, their vision becomes blurry for the next 10 seconds, resulting in an accuracy debuff. The degree of blindness is most effective at the moment of contact, clearing up as the debuff wears off. For single-weapon and throwing weapon users, the debuff is dependent upon a single weapon's hit. A dual weapon user must strike the opponent successfully with both weapons to ensure the maximum effect. Even still, they have two chances at hitting, so stability is sacrificed for consistency. Nevertheless, the cooldown of this technique is also 10 seconds, meaning that an experienced user can sustain the effect as long as they can manage to pierce the opponent's defense each time.

Fold Step:Tier I Skill
Using this skill, the user's body suddenly is propelled and accelerates in a desired direction. It is often used as a surprise burst of momentum when delivering an attack or used as a last-ditch dodging maneuver. The only downside to this technique is that once activated, the swashbuckler cannot stop or adjust their trajectory. It should be noted that if this skill is used for an attack, the momentum from initiating the attack will not increase damage in any way. It merely allows the Swashbuckler to quickly close in on the opponent for a possible surprise attack. This skill has an animation time of 1 second and a cooldown time of 6 seconds.

Roleplay Class: Courier
Checkpoint: When you're supposed to be delivering items all over the country, you need to be able to keep track of where your clients are supposed to be! This toggle skill scans the Courier's quest log and notifies them of each destination point or individual they need to meet with in order to complete the quest. This works as a tall pillar of light that can be seen from up to 100 meters away. Additionally, if the Courtier possesses a map of the list, these points are marked with a [QUEST] icon. Only the Courier is able to see these details.
Crafting Class: Scribe
Transcription: Scribes are known for their ability to copy and examine documents carefully. This allows them to obtain the Adventurer skill [Mythic Script] as a Beginner-level skill without it taking up a skill slot. Their knowledge also allows them to use and read grimoires in the Ancient Text, allowing them to use grimoires without penalties and perform some basic magic attacks depending on their Magic stat. If the character can already use grimoires through racial or class bonuses, grimoire damage increases by 10%.
