Lavian
Character Info
REAL NAME: Leanne L. Lee
REAL GENDER: Female
GAME GENDER: Female
AGE: 22 y/o
SEXUALITY: Heterosexual
FACE-CLAIM: Vira, Granblue Fantasy
PLAYED BY: Lavian
RACE: Elf
FACTION: Adventurer
Appearance Lavian was deliberately designed by her creator to look the part of a confident sensual creature who is perfectly at ease with herself and cares not for the opinion of sheep. Though not exactly a pin-up model, Lavian does have curves in the right places and dresses in such a way to flaunt them shamelessly, a common trend in her fashion choices involve buying clothes that expose her shoulders and shapely legs. While her flowing sunflower blonde hair can reach seamlessly from her scalp, all the way to the down of her back, she often ties it up in a pony tail as to prevent it from going wild from the rigorous activities she engages in throughout the day. An idealized version of herself, Lavian stands at five feet and seven inches, bearing a face that is strikingly beautiful, with delicate features and purple colored almond-shaped eyes. Her skin is also a healthy creamy shade and there isn't a single scar to be found anywhere on her body. Her real-world counterpart, Leanne is the opposite of Lavian in certain respects. Besides being shorter a good four inches, she doesn't have as nearly as exquisite a face - there are similarities, yes - but where Lavian is a radiant beauty, Leanne appears to need make-up and the attention of a stylist to make her pretty. Simply put, she's cute, but will never pass off as beautiful. She has plain black hair, cut short an inch or two past the shoulders. She dresses conservatively at work in corporate attire and favors long-sleeved clothing in subdued colors at home. Incidentally, she does actually share a body-type that resembles her in-game avatar closely enough, though unlike Lavian she doesn't have nearly as much confidence in her looks and a scar from a traffic accident on her legs forces her to wear clothes that would conceal it. | Personality Lavian is the person that Leanne wishes she could be. The girl is larger than life, doing what she wishes without allowing the opinion of others to sway her judgement. She takes risks - but only when there at least a fifty-fifty chance of success. Lavian also freely shares her opinions with others, regardless of their desire to hear her input or not. She tends to favor showy clothes that emphasize her healthy figure and shapely legs. Despite her flippant personality, the fact that Lavian's real-life persona does work for a company can occasionally make itself manifest in the surprisingly mature manner in which she conducts business or converses in a professional setting. She has a solid mind for planning and will take risks only after she has assessed the situation properly. Leanne, unlike her virtual counterpart considers herself a sheep - a working thrall who goes with the flow that life takes her, never taking her chances nor She strives to remain under the radar, going out of her way to keep abreast of problems at the workplace. Despite her reserved nature, Leanne isn't anti-social, she is well-liked by most people she meets though she wouldn't be on the top of the list of close friends on anyone's list - except the handful she had grown up alongside with at her neighborhood. Unlike her virtual counterpart, Leanne is extremely pragmatic and thrifty - mostly because of her many siblings and her parent's status as immigrants. Even though her family has largely recovered with all but one of the five siblings working in world-famous companies her thrifty nature hasn't changed. Her reserved nature however, can fade in light of certain situations - usually when she's absorbed in her job. She can be extremely dedicated and serious as a professional ought to and she tries to do everything by-the-book, much to the chargin of her co-workers. |

Biography
Leanne was born to a household of seven people. Her parents were immigrants, her father a paramedic and her mother worked at a diner. She was the fourth among four siblings and was raised fully aware of her family's financial straights. Despite her father's decent job, it was a difficult to support five children so Leanne had grown up incredibly responsible and pragmatic. Even after graduating from a community college on scholarship and landing a decent job with a paycheck that allowed her to live comfortably alone that hadn't changed for Leanne.
That was probably why Elder Tale proved a worthwhile distraction for her. While it could be a time-sink, it wasn't a money guzzler and in it she was able to be true to herself. She was never truly good at the game, playing it mostly to socialize behind the security of an anonymous avatar, but there was fun to be had in being a dare-devil, risk-taker who could waste her money without any real concerns like paying the bills on time.
Incidentally, Leanne did not choose her class because of its merits - but because she was educated in actual fencing and remembered watching the Zorro movie repeatedly on DVD as a child, it was apparently one of her parent's favorite movies. She suspected that was one reason her father had sent her to study under a fencing instructor for one summer during her highschool years along with her brothers. She was initially reluctant, much preferring to stay home and play videogames, though the experience had proven to be surprisingly entertaining. This lead her to make the impulsive choice of going for the swashbuckling class.

CLASS SKILLS
Main Class: Swashbuckler
Fencer Style: Tier I Skill
A passive skill that activates when the swashbuckler is only equipping a single one-handed weapon and nothing in their off hand, increasing the attack damage of their one-handed weapon. Dual wielding has its merits in granting the swashbuckler with an opportunity to apply two different effects to the opponent upon a successful hit, while fighting with the Fencing Style sacrifices this versatility for a greater form of fighting stability.

Fold Step: Tier I Skill
Using this skill, the user's body suddenly is propelled and accelerates in a desired direction. It is often used as a surprise burst of momentum when delivering an attack or used as a last-ditch dodging maneuver. The only downside to this technique is that once activated, the swashbuckler cannot stop or adjust their trajectory. It should be noted that if this skill is used for an attack, the momentum from initiating the attack will not increase damage in any way. It merely allows the Swashbuckler to quickly close in on the opponent for a possible surprise attack. This skill has an animation time of 1 second and a cooldown time of 6 seconds.

Straights: Tier I Skill
A skill with a 1 second animation time and 5 second cooldown that is very characteristic of its name. This ability causes the Swashbuckler's weapon to glow a golden color as it extends an additional four feet for the duration of an attack. It is initiated by suddenly clenching the weapon very tightly while in mid-swing or mid-thrust. Ranged weapons and grimoires are not affected by this skill. Players wielding two weapons cannot have both weapons be affected by this skill, so it is best used as a follow-up chained strike to prevent the opponent from keeping their distance. After this skill is used, the weapon's attack value decreases for a few seconds, making it unwise to carelessly spam the skill.
