Appearance Ramune is a very; ‘If it’s not comfortable then I’m not going to wear/do it.’ The fine line of lazy and articulate is one she walks everyday, and it reflects in-game more so with her mannerisms than her fashion sense. Where she could get away with a pair of jeans and a t-shirt in the real world, the swashbuckler doesn’t have much of a choice with the equipment. Because of that, though, she doesn’t have to work as hard to maintain the balance that she had before. (Then came the updates and she had to start personal upkeep.) With a stick-like figure, her arms are like branches and her legs could pass as a fawn's with how wobbly they look at times. Ramune doesn’t have any apparent muscle structure to her, which is pretty much the same as it is out of the game. Her basic core exercise includes sit-ups for getting out of bed and reaching for the remote on the table back at home. Instead of dark circles under her eyes, and scars on her hands and finger pads from working with computer and server wiring, her skin is smooth. In her opinion, this ‘new her’ was far too ‘stick it in your pocket and never let it see the light of the day, too pure for this world’. It was hard to intimidate anyone when her normal defenses were washed away and replaced with a bony-fragileness. Who would take the short, pink-haired kid with fluffy hair seriously? She wouldn't. | Personality Ramune didn’t generally seek people out as a rule. Now, in the game though, there wasn’t the choice to be a shut in because this place was pretty cutthroat. You didn’t die--but then again, who doesn’t like being strong enough to not die? The swashbuckler wanted to avoid waking up on a cold slab of marble in a church, cause can we talk about morbid. So she waves awkwardly, and smiles. Ram just isn’t that good at it. People move, think, and breathe. They aren’t like the goldfish she keeps in her apartment, swimming around thoughtlessly. They stabbed each other in the back and thought dark things in the back of their mind. She knows, because she does it too. Her view on the human, or intelligent race(s) is that everyone has something they want, and there’s always that part of them that they deny that would do anything to get it. Her therapist said she was just paranoid, but Ram knew. She thinks far too much about things like that, because just going at something and doing it was what landed her up here. And Ramune wasn’t one to make the same mistake twice, because that was stupid. Her self-image might degrade her outwardly appearance without fail whenever it’s mentioned or she’s faced with it in the mirror, but she liked to think of herself as an okay-sort of intelligent being. She went to college to get the brag right, and she was gonna protect it. Even if it didn’t have much merit here, where there wasn’t her internet/cable company to work for in the hot, suffocating back rooms filled with wiring. Which leads to the occasional butting of heads when she’s standing up for her small bit of pride. Normally she’s more than likely to let it pass, but to walk on her? Ramune doesn’t appreciate being a stepping stone, or any kind of ego booster for someone else. So she values her mind, and anyone that doesn’t threaten that is fine. Because this body didn’t quite feel like it was hers, certainly didn’t look like it was hers, but her head was something that hadn’t changed. |

Biography
Leiah--Ramune in-game, was the only child in a household of three. A mother, a father, and her. The first few years were spent in the place of her birth--a one room apartment that had been baby-proofed by taping over plugs and keeping everything sharp and toxic in the higher spaces she couldn’t yet reach. Then the trio moved, and moved, and moved--over and over again. Leiah didn’t have a sense of home--just places that they stopped and her father got contract work at. The dream had been there in her younger years, that she was just on a long trip to her home and she’d get there in the end, but that died out after she turned ten and they had moved twenty or so times.
Because they’d been all over, she didn’t have any permanent friends. No one had her number, her email address; she never had anyone to call and hang out with and that had carried on into her ‘thrust into the world, now you're an adult’ phase in her later teens. That was fine though, because really, all she had to do was go to work and talk if she wanted to. Wanted being the key word, because she never really did unless she had to.
The effort was there, at times, but most people looked at her like… well, not a lot of people looked at her. She was there, on the wall watching them from the sidelines as they went about their merry way. And that was okay. That was fine, she didn’t want to step out of her bubble--but one day she did.
Curiosity killed the cat, and she downloaded the game. Started playing it, got addicted to it so much that when she got home--that was what she started to make a beeline for. Elder Tales. When the update had rolled around, she had gotten off work and had started the update. Then it was just… well she didn’t die, but the curious cat had gotten sent to another world with a bunch of other people and there she was. Here she is, stuck between trying to get comfortable or wasting away because she didn’t know what to do with herself in a place like this, out of her element.
But she tried eventually, because she had to and sitting around had gotten awfully boring to her.

CLASS SKILLS
Main Class: SWASHBUCKLER
Mirage Dealer: Dual wield skill. The Swashbuckler performs a forward X-slash with their two weapons to slash at an opponent, then immediately teleports a meter forward. This usually places them behind the enemy, allowing them to either bypass their line or enable them to continue attacking before the enemy realizes what just happened. Because of the flashiness of this skill, it's a popular technique among aspiring warriors. Try not to use it while the opponent's at the edge of a cliff or right against a wall, though. You'll either plummet to your death or crash face-first into a wall. This skill has an animation time of 2 seconds and a cooldown of 8 seconds.
Discard: A technique designed to reduce aggro for the swashbuckler. As soon as the opponent draws near, the swashbuckler performs a somersault over the target's head, then uses the blunt end of the blade to spin the opponent sideways. This sudden disorientation disrupts a monster's thought process, often resulting in its battle AI resetting. This skill has an animation time of 1.5 seconds and a cooldown of 15 seconds.
Fold Step: Using this skill, the user's body suddenly is propelled and accelerates in a desired direction. It is often used as a surprise burst of momentum when delivering an attack or used as a last-ditch dodging maneuver. The only downside to this technique is that once activated, the swashbuckler cannot stop or adjust their trajectory. It should be noted that if this skill is used for an attack, the momentum from initiating the attack will not increase damage in any way. It merely allows the Swashbuckler to quickly close in on the opponent for a possible surprise attack. This skill has an animation time of 1 second and a cooldown time of 6 seconds.

Roleplay Class: FISHERMAN
Mariner: Passive skill. As opposed to the usual player's one-minute limit, the fisherman may remain submerged in the water for two minutes before having to resurface for air or suffer gradual damage. Their movement speed in the water is also not reduced compared to a player's normal speed reduction of 20%.
Crafting Class: BREWER
Detox: When your occupation is all about alcohol, you can't let things like hangovers slow you down! This skill can be toggled, allowing brewers to become immune to status debuffs caused by drinks and potions. They also passively recover from accuracy reductions and Mind and Weakness status effects twice as quickly.
