Appearance Arashi is tall for her age, standing at 5 feet 11 inches tall. She is thin, but not skinny, and is built athletically. She naturally has platinum blonde hair, but she dyes it on a regular basis depending on what her mood is. At the moment she began Elder Tails, she had long fox red hair. She also has natural amber eyes which make her stand out a lot. One thing odd about Arashi is that she usually walks around barefooted. She hates wearing shoes, saying that they confine her feet. She only wears them in school but goes around without them most other times. Marashi is shorter than her normal stature with her avatar standing at 5 feet 6 inches instead. She is still skinny but not nearly as skinny as she normally is, but is still built athletically. Instead of platinum blonde or brown hair, she has dark blue hair pulled back into a ponytail where the tail is yellow and red. Her eyes are crimson in place of amber. Just like in the real world, Marashi walks around barefooted without shoes most of the time. | Personality Generally speaking, Marashi is quiet, choosing to keep mostly to herself. However, when she’s with people she’s comfortable with, she can be loud and boisterous. Her biggest personal problem though is that she needs to be needed or needs to be wanted. She works incredibly hard and does what she can do to get others to notice her. Besides those basic feelings of needing to be needed, Marashi has many internal mental struggles as she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. She can be really happy and hardworking, but during those times, she can be irritable and restless, often going days without sleep, all while being very impulsive. However, she also has really low times where nothing interests her at all, and not even work makes her feel better. She lacks concentration and is often even more restless than she is when she is in a good mood. She also regularly just lays in bed until the absolute last minute, trying to produce energy to keep going. Despite her mental challenges, she does her best to have a good outlook on life, doing everything she can to find the balance between the two without taking medicine as the medicine drains all of her energy. When she does have a balance, she can be her regular happy self that works hard. Marashi’s biggest weakness, though, is that she needs to be wanted or needed. When she doesn’t feel that way, she generally goes into her low mood. |

Biography
Arashi Nakamura was born to a second generation Japanese-American and someone else in the United States. The only parent she ever knew was her mother who had her when she was still in high school. Her father didn’t stick around long, and it could have been any number of guys her mother slept around with. Her mother, however, got her life straight when she was pregnant with Arashi… or at least that was what everyone thought. Arashi’s mother did her best to stay on the straight and narrow, but it was harder than she thought and eventually left her daughter with her parents because she knew that she would be better off with them.
Growing up, Arashi only knew her mother through pictures, stories her grandparents told her, and letters that were written to her from time to time. By the time she was old enough to understand the letters on her own, her mother just suddenly stopped sending them. Her grandparents told her it was just because she was traveling through other countries, but time went on and she didn’t hear anything back.
Instead, Arashi grew up without a mother or father… but she was fine with it. She loved her grandparents, and they loved her back. When it came time for school, she did fairly well, and she was always praised. They were very supportive in whatever decisions she made… even if they didn’t particularly like it. For example during middle school, Arashi became addicted to video games courtesy of her friends. It was also during those times where she and her grandparents noticed that she had really bad mood swings. During summer vacation, she would go almost a week playing video games straight without any sleep then she would suddenly not want to touch a video game for a month. Eventually, she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder.
Her friends were very supportive of her, both on and off medicine, and she was pretty happy. She was even happier when one of her friends got her to play the video game Elder Tales. She started playing right after Novasphere Pioneers. She got two different characters to the max level right away, and began looking for more. When the next expansion was announced, she quickly preordered it and awaited its release.
Arashi skipped school on the day of the expansion release and made a new character to explore the wonders of the new server.
When she awoke, Marashi looked around to see a new world… one that was going to be much more fun than her old one.

CLASS SKILLS
Main Class: Shaman
Leaping Apricot Technique: Tier I Skill. This spell will instantly transport the user to a location a certain distance away, leaving behind apricot flower petals from where the user stood. What seems like a powerful technique actually has some drawbacks, including a maximum range of 6 meters and the ability to travel within eight directions, not to mention the in-game restrictions for using this skill. However, it seems that these restrictions have been lifted following the Catastrophe, allowing more striving Shamans to learn this skill with less constraints. Also, using this skill post-Catastrophe also gives off an apricot scent, giving it an aromatic purpose outside of battle. This skill consumes about 20% of the Shaman's MP, has a casting time of 1.5 seconds, and has a cooldown of 40 seconds. The MP cost decreases by 5% for every 30 levels.
Exorcism of a Cursed Lotus: Tier I Skill. A self-cast barrier that boosts the caster’s attack speed against a specific target without boosting movement speed. Upon taking any damage, the barrier shatters and the caster lose all benefits. Since this leaves the caster vulnerable to attack it is often better to combine this with attacks from other party members or with another barrier level underneath so as to keep the target preoccupied. This skill has a casting time of 2 seconds, a maximum duration of 10 seconds, and a cooldown of 15 seconds.
Shikigami Astral Seal: Tier I Skill. This skill transforms the physical body of the summoned Shikigami into a ghost-like form, making it intangible to all attacks. Conversely, the Shikigami retains the ability to affect its environment, allowing it to move and control objects like a poltergeist. Many Shamans typically have their Shikigami control objects like weapons in order to make them appear as though they were possessed. Others tend to utilize the summon to grab an enemy's limbs and prevent their movement, but the generally low offensive specs of the Shikigami makes this strategy not quite as effective. The duration of this skill lasts for a full minute, but it will automatically cancel if the Shikigami's duration runs out. This skill has a casting time of 2 seconds. There is a 30 second cooldown period after this skill's deactivation before it may be used again.
Level 4 Tier I Skill: A Tier I skill slot that can be occupied with either an Adventurer or Main Class skill. Unlocked at Level 4.
Level 7 Tier I Skill: A Tier I skill slot that can be occupied with either an Adventurer or Main Class skill. Unlocked at Level 7.

Level 19 Tier I Skill: A Tier I skill slot that can be occupied with either an Adventurer or Main Class skill. Unlocked at Level 19.

Level 28 Tier I Skill: A Tier I skill slot that can be occupied with either an Adventurer or Main Class skill. Unlocked at Level 28.
Level 31 Tier II Skill: A skill slot that can be occupied with either an Adventurer or Main Class skill. The skill may be either a Tier I or II skill. Unlocked at Level 31.
Roleplay Class: Courtesan
Allure: A toggle skill that can be used anytime in a conversation with People of the Land. It allows the Courtesan to smooth over any mistakes and retain the target's attention. Often, this skill can also be used to obtain information that would otherwise require long interrogation. Allure's effect scales with the Courtesan's subclass level, becoming more effective at higher levels.
Crafting Class: Alchemist
Transumation: Alchemists are naturally aligned with the power of magical equipment, able to use the Adventurer skill [Equipment Mastery: Magical] as a Beginner-level skill without having it take up a skill slot. Their research also gives them an advantage in fighting Artificial Life to deal an additional 10% damage. If [Equipment Mastery: Magical] is already learned through racial or class bonuses, Magitech damage increases by 10%.
