Appearance Megumi's body is slender and thin. She chose to have her hair be two colors, because she felt like having something to better differentiate herself from the rest. Her hair, usually, is longer on one side than the other because the girl loves her hair flips, as it plays into who she is as a person even better. She stands at 5 foot, 7 inches in height, with the longest part of her being her legs by just a little bit. Her eyes are a pale crimson/pink color, often held in a piercing judgmental fashion. Her lips are small, usually without any make-up, as her natural beauty shines best when its unhindered. Her skin is also sightly pale, but very smooth. Her nose is small, coming to a very slight point at the end. | Personality Megumi is very self-centered, thinking almost entirely of her own benefit. Since she was raised with the mentality that she was a higher being, due to her family's wealth, she never was very understanding of other people. That aside, she is usually rational when it comes to figuring things out, and tends to try and figure things out fast. If something takes too long, it loses her interest. Given that she thinks herself better than others, Megumi tends to refrain from making many social connections, unless there is a specific benefit from it that she can perceive from the connection. Though, perhaps in her own right, she's looking to make friends. But, her tough exterior tends to keep that from happening. Megumi is very flashy. She loves to show off whenever and wherever she can. From hair flips to her fighting style, concentrating on swift, eloquent attacks, she enjoys making people look at her and put them in awe with her skills. She enjoys making others respect and adore her for her own majesty and grace, which comes from, once again, her background. If people don't respect her own personal authority, she will gladly remind them that she is of the Kensington family, and heiress to the Kensington Family Fortune. To somewhat counter her usual attitude, Megumi loves to cook, and finds herself most calm when she is making some food. She can't explain why, but it's soothing. |

Biography
Tabitha Rosalin Kensington, Heiress to the Kensington Family Fortune, was born to two loving parents. One more than the other, though. Tabitha's mother, Gwendoline Maria, has always held only love and adoration for her daughter. Her father, Tabith Ross Kensington, whom Tabitha was named after, has always been much more aloof, always off doing his own kinds of things. Tabitha has always respected her father for being the kind of man he wanted to be, and she wanted to follow in his footsteps. Having been born into money, Tabitha has always gotten what she wanted, when she wanted it, from her father. Her mother, on the other hand, has usually told her to wait for something good until she felt she deserved it. This spawned Tabitha's hate of waiting for things, and the beginnings of her dislike for her mother.
Tabitha's early life consisted of some primary schooling, and, of course, being given whatever she wanted from her father. She had a few friends at the school she went to, but that was mostly because they only saw things at the same level. They weren't true friends, but more friends mostly for the benefit of having them. She never was one to create deep, lasting connections, since people were only useful for a short period of time before they become needy. Hating to deal with situations much like that, Tabitha decided that she would revoke many of her social connections within a year or two, as most people decide to see if they can talk her into giving them money. However, as much as she knows she shouldn't, she did usually wonder if it might be better to keep one or two. But, the thoughts quickly left her mind, the moment money was brought into question.
Eventually, though, tragedy would make its way into her life. By the time she was eight years old, she noticed that her father had begun to spend less and less time at the massive house they lived in. The only reason why they didn't own a mansion was because her mother, for whatever reason, didn't want one. It was discovered, at that time, that Tabitha would have a younger baby brother, as her mother had become pregnant. Tabitha's father was determined to find a name that suited the young man, pertaining to Gwendoline's name. However, he never quite figured out a name to use, and it very quickly became a very prevalent question in her mind. This brought about the thought that Tabitha, perhaps, would not longer be the center of her fathers' attention, to which she could only hold a bit of contempt for.
But, that contempt was very soon disrupted, as her father had soon after passed away.
One night, while Tabith was out doing business, a man decided to appear and hold him hostage for all the money he had on him. Tabith, having gone to the bank just before, had been left with empty pockets beforehand, and was unable to give the man any. As a result, Tabith was shot, and before police arrived, he was already long gone. At the time, Gwendoline could only grieve, as the baby they had both wanted so badly was very soon to be on the way, and he would be without a father. Despite how much it seemed that Tabith was out and away, Gwen held only love for him, as she knew pretty much what he was up to at almost all times. She never doubted him, and supported him. To hear that he was murdered in such cold blood caused a dark sweep across her usually happy demeanor. On Tabitha, though, it devastated her.
The mourning for her father's loss was long and arduous, one that she wasn't necessarily able to recover from quite easily. To this day, perhaps she still isn't over it. However, what sickened her was how quickly she saw her mother recover from it all. She glared at her mother, wondering why exactly she was better. Her husband was killed! Why wouldn't she be angry? Sad? Upset? Even just a little pissed off? However, every time Tabitha brought it up, her mother would always say "For the sake of their soon-to-be son, she had to be happy. There's no reason for him to feel remorse for somebody he never knew." The concept itself was the breaking point. From that moment on, Tabitha had decided to hate her mother, who could so easily abandond her husband's death like that.
Of course, time went on, regardless. The rift that had been forged between Megumi and her mother continued to grow as she began her adolescense, becoming more hateful as time goes on. Her baby brother, Austin Jacob Kensington, had become to turn into something like her mother. Always happy, never angry, and overall quiet and sincere. Never one to speak up or speak out. It disgusted Tabitha. After her father's death, her mother had inheirited all the money and assest her father owned, but never did anything with them. Her excuse was to help pay for her children's college, and other expenses that needed to be taken care of, to which Tabitha could not stand. They had the money, why not indulge themselves? She never understood her mother, and likely never would.
Eventually, the time for college had come around, and Tabitha made all the decisions for her life on her own. She decided that she would get into fashion, and become a lead fashion designer. While there at the college, she had begun to cook a little bit on her own, since the servants weren't there to make her food for her. Somehow, she found it... Relaxing. Enjoyable. One of the few things that would genuinely bring a smile to her face was making some food for herself. While she was ther at college, though, she began to actually form decent relationships, and found herself some friends. She had somehow started to change, now that she was away from the rest of the world she had grown up in, and living on her own seemed to be much better. She could be sociable now, and she enjoyed it.
College ended, but she decided to stay nearby, as did her few friends. She bought herself a large apartment, and started to live there. Of course, her mother had known where she had been these past few years, and decided that, since she was now 23 years old, she would come visit and see how her daughter was holding up. After hearing about this, Tabitha panicked. She needed to find something to keep her mother from getting anywhere near her. At the time, she had heard of some old video games that one of her friends joked about, and decided that she would give it a try. Elder Tale, it was called. Hurrying out of the building, she rushed to the nearest store to pick up the supplies she needed to get this game working. Having returned home, with only an hour to spare before her mother would show up, Tabitha created an account and a character quickly, making it as fashionable as she could.
Having decided that she was good enough to go with for now, Tabitha made the character and logged in. Little did she realize that she would effectively be able to escape her mother's eventual arrival. Maybe, a little too effectively.

CLASS SKILLS
Main Class: Swashbuckler
Fold Step: Tier I Skill
Using this skill, the user's body suddenly is propelled and accelerates in a desired direction. It is often used as a surprise burst of momentum when delivering an attack or used as a last-ditch dodging maneuver. The only downside to this technique is that once activated, the swashbuckler cannot stop or adjust their trajectory. It should be noted that if this skill is used for an attack, the momentum from initiating the attack will not increase damage in any way. It merely allows the Swashbuckler to quickly close in on the opponent for a possible surprise attack. This skill has an animation time of 1 second and a cooldown time of 6 seconds.

Mirage Dealer: Tier I Skill
Dual wield skill. The Swashbuckler performs a forward X-slash with their two weapons to slash at an opponent, then immediately teleports a meter forward. This usually places them behind the enemy, allowing them to either bypass their line or enable them to continue attacking before the enemy realizes what just happened. Because of the flashiness of this skill, it's a popular technique among aspiring warriors. Try not to use it while the opponent's at the edge of a cliff or right against a wall, though. You'll either plummet to your death or crash face-first into a wall. This skill has an animation time of 2 seconds and a cooldown of 8 seconds.

Viper Raise: Tier I Skill
An attack that targets the arm tendons. A successful hit will result in a Bleeding status ailment, which deals damage to the target every time they use a skill or attack. This is accommodated by the wound area seeping out a constant trail of blood. Despite the move's somewhat gory animation, this bleeding effect is fairly minor and scales in a manner similarly to a poison effect. Also, for the next 10 seconds, the target's attack speed will be decreased by 10% due to the pain associated with moving the arms. This skill has a 2 second animation time and a 9 second cooldown.

When a target is struck by Bleeding Spades, they take minor poison damage over time for 12 seconds. If Bleeding Spades is used while the target is affected by Viper Raise, the poison duration doubles to 24 seconds. This skill has an animation time of 2 seconds and a cooldown of 12 seconds. If the Swashbuckler uses Bleeding Spades while its poison effect is still affecting the user, its duration will refresh to 12 seconds (24 seconds if Viper Raise's effect is still active).

A technique designed to reduce aggro for the swashbuckler. As soon as the opponent draws near, the swashbuckler performs a somersault over the target's head, then uses the blunt end of the blade to spin the opponent sideways. This sudden disorientation disrupts a monster's thought process, often resulting in its battle AI resetting. This skill has an animation time of 1.5 seconds and a cooldown of 15 seconds.

Be careful of your party members' positions before you attempt it though. This skill has an animation time of 2 seconds and a cooldown of 8 seconds.

Straights: Tier I Skill
A skill with a 1 second animation time and 5 second cooldown that is very characteristic of its name. This ability causes the Swashbuckler's weapon to glow a golden color as it extends an additional four feet for the duration of an attack. It is initiated by suddenly clenching the weapon very tightly while in mid-swing or mid-thrust. Ranged weapons and grimoires are not affected by this skill. Players wielding two weapons cannot have both weapons be affected by this skill, so it is best used as a follow-up chained strike to prevent the opponent from keeping their distance. After this skill is used, the weapon's attack value decreases for a few seconds, making it unwise to carelessly spam the skill.
