It was another fine day at the cafe in the downtown of Black District that was tended by Seth Alexander. Seth was quite pleased at the turnout of people that were ordering all sorts of drinks, as it was never a market day and he usually got a low turnout except in a market day. Although he had to pace himself so that he could tend to the unusual surge of customers, that should always be better than doing nothing because there were no customers to tend to. And so Seth put on his cheerful smile and made sure that the customers' visit would be memorable to them. He would make sure that those who had entered in this cafe would return here again because of the fond memories that would be made while they were drinking their daily caffeine here.
He then noticed the people within the cafe staring at something while they continue their chatter, as he had finished all orders and was about to brew his morning tea. He then glanced at the direction of their stares, and then he saw a peculiar hooded person entering the cafe. He then got ready an unused coffee and tea brewing apparatus, pouring water in it and lit a fire so that the water would start to boil. He then turned towards the bar of the cafe, and then he saw the hooded figure up close. The hooded figure ordered tea, and since Seth had brewed tea before for himself (the other brewing apparatus was to be used if the hooded person would order coffee), he then poured out the tea from a brewing apparatus into two cups, and then he dealt one cup of tea to the hooded person while having one for himself, after blowing off the fire of the two brewing apparatus that were used. He then watched as the hooded person finish up drinking the tea in one sitting, and then moving out of the cafe quickly, leaving a pile of bronze coins. Thinking that it was the payment for the drink, Seth picked up the coins, but he noticed something different from the usual feel of bronze onto his fingers. He then placed the coins in the counter, and he was left with an unusual-looking stone. He then pulled out a stool, and then stared at the stone while taking a sip of the tea that he brewed a while ago. And then as he was continuing to stare at the stone, it seemed as if he was being sucked into another dimension. Although it was a bit unusual, Seth knew that he was being led into a vision, a sign of the things to come to this world.

The moment Seth finally woke up, he saw himself in a place he had not seen before, whether in his travels or his visions. He found himself lying on a stone pavement surrounding a rather opulent fountain within some city. He quickly straightened himself up and then observed his surroundings. It seemed to be a common scene during market days of a city, a lot of people constantly passing by the fountain, chattering about what they have bought, what food they have eaten, and other such things. There should be nothing of note here, except to introduce him to this city, but Seth wondered what was the purpose of the vision. There should be a reason why was this vision shown to him, and something very drastic would occur within a couple of minutes, and Seth was quite fearful of what would happen next. But since it was a sign of the things to come in the city, he should watch it unfold before his eyes, so that when he would be back from his trance, he should warn the people what would happen next.
As expected, what Seth feared to happen unfolded before his very eyes. A dark warp in the space of the earth appeared, and something was coming out of the rip in space. Seth watched as the people become terrified and ran away from the warp and the fountain, except for some brave souls who went towards the fountain to watch the scene unfold. He then focused his eyes on what was coming out of the warp in space. It seemed to be a swarm of bees, but it should be odd that such a swarm of bees were coming out of a warp in space. Maybe the swarm of bees were entities from another world, and being something that swarms and stings, should be dealt with quickly. He then readied his staff and then shouted, "Familiar, Alraune!" A child-sized sprite appeared before Seth, with its trappings made of petals of flowers. Seth then directed his summon to make a pollen shower towards the swarm of bees so as to slow down their movement, while he moved towards the group of those who wanted to stop the swarm of bees. Little did he know the futility of such actions.

As Seth approached the party that was supposed to fight off the bees from another dimension, he noticed that all of them were eager to fight off the invading force, except a person who was just staring at the black warp and frowning as he was watching the advance of the bees, which was being slowed down by the familiar of Seth. He did not know why he was frowning though, but it seemed from his reaction to the bees that he might know something about them that others did not know. Therefore Seth wanted to have that knowledge so that he could use it to inform other people on what the swarm really was, and then he took a mental note on the physical features of the person so that he could find that person when the vision would end. Although his face was obscured by the white miter and the silver crown that he was wearing, he could say that the age of the person was around sixteen to twenty by looking at his youthful features. He stood at around five feet and six inches tall, had turquoise eyes, and blond hair, evident from his eyebrows and tufts of hair revealing from his miter. He was wearing a white fur-lined cloak that time, but underneath the cloak he wore pieces of steel armor over an outfit of white, sky blue and black, and numerous weapons could be seen on his person. He was then holding on one hand a sword which seemed as if it was made out of ice crystals, but after some time he sheathed the sword and drew from his left side a short rifle, its silvery metal seeming to gleam in the sunlight. He then shouted, "Physical melee attacks will not work on those creatures. We must use our ranged weapons! If you can use magic, especially those of the fire element, use them at all costs! We should try to defeat them before they can cause any harm!" Seth noticed that there might be some kind of leadership in that man, as he noticed that the other people switched to their ranged weapons and started to attack the swarm, which, by the way, was nearing Seth's familiar. As he saw it, the familiar was trying all her best to stop the advance of the swarm, but after some pitiful seconds, the swarm penetrated the pollen storm of the Alraune and the familiar was swallowed up by the hornets.
"NOOO!!!" he shouted as the familiar succumbed to the attacks of the swarm and disappeared. But as he was about to cry and mope for the familiar that he had lost, he was interrupted by the white-robed person, saying, "Familiars can be summoned again, but our lives can never be recovered again! Get up and fight, for we should protect our loved ones from this swarm!" Struck by the reality of what the person had said, he then got up and started to channel his spells. As he watched the person bark towards the other people and predict what the swarm would do, he just stared with admiration of this person. Hopefully they could get out of here all unscathed, although it could be said that the person knew by heart that he would not defeat the swarm before them. He just made sure that they could hold the swarm back for the others watching to know their lore, their strengths, and their weaknesses. And that stark truth would be uncovered by Seth later.
