Appearance Kewi is a character that does not stand out. In a crowd, you will have a difficult time spotting her. Mainly because she is only 158 cm tall, but her features are very common. Her long silky black hair extends to her thighs. She is often mistaken to be under ten, and has been approached by authorities multiple times concerning her age. Needless to say, it will happen again without a doubt. Her hair outside of the game would usually be let down and untied. However, in-game, Kewi's hair is tied into buns and covered with white lace cloth. Not everything is tied into a bun, as to let the remaining hair flow down from the bun. She wears blue Chinese combat garments in-game as a reflection of half of her nationality. She has skin that's pale with a gentle honey glow and the eyes of deep ocean floor. And if you notice, though her hair is supposedly dark and black, under a certain amount of light will it be evident that it is at least a little bit leaning on the greener shade. | Personality Kein in real life is usually to be described as someone who wouldn't stand up for herself even if the world was ending. But then Ender Tale came along. She was able to express herself freely, become strong enough to have her opinions matter, and be important. She felt like a different person. She had a very difficult family, but she loved them dearly though they hadn't returned the same aspect of affection. She had no friends other than in the game. She refused to be anywhere during her free time if not in Ender Tale. She was completely drawn into the game. Kein then knew that Kewi was the real her. She wasn't a stuck-up shy girl anymore. She had grown out of her shell into this amazing player. If only it were real. Then, one day, it happened. She became the person she really was. She outgrew her past personality and learned how to be a strong independent individual. Though she is, she has always wanted to join a guild, or even a party perhaps. Just to feel as important. She wanted to know what it would be like to be part of something. She would always put others before her own even if it meant getting Kewi's HP dropped to 0. She knew that if she wanted to live in this world, she'd have to live it fairly and do things she'd want done unto her. She has a lot of dreams in the world of Ender Tale, one being a renowned Swashbuckler. To become a well-known player has been her dream. She wishes to have all her efforts and struggles noted and known. Though it's a selfish or greedy dream, it's a dream nonetheless. One of her most honest fears is for the catastrophe to be fixed. Has she gone mad? Crazy? Maybe, but to lose Kewi would be her biggest mistake and she'd do anything to keep things this way. Even if she seems innocent, she has the potential to turn her back and become a villain if it meant keeping the world. |
Extra
(Post anything not covered in the rest of the template here. You can include things not already described in the previous sections like blood type, dominant handedness, character trivia, personal comments, etc. No word minimum.
You can also answer, how did you find our RP? We'd love to find out.
Oh yes, while we're at it, after you post up your completed character app, you might want to stick it in archive.org/web/. Go to the bottom right of the page, paste in the link to your profile and then save the page. That way you can recover it in case it gets accidentally deleted or overwriten.)

Biography
(Minimum of 200 words is necessary. Explains the character's history prior to beginning their adventure in Elder Tale.)
First of all, we do ask that you keep the history somewhat believable given the time of the story (2018). Some suspense in belief is okay, but "cyborgs traveling 4 years back through time to play the game" is not such a good idea. Also check out the Timeline for help especially if you do not know about the story of Log Horizon.
Might be best to take your time and start with the early history. Not necessarily too early, but enough to give you a background.
If Adventurer, how was your character's childhood? Did they have a happy life with friends and family? If not, explain the troubles they've had in their years and how they've managed to deal with it. How was their schooling? Were they one of the better students or were they the delinquent type? However much more you can add depends on how old your character is. Perhaps you can talk about whether they've been in relationships, whether they've had jobs, whether anything that happened in their past shapes how they behave today. Hopefully you should have a long enough history as is, but now you can talk about how your character discovered Elder Tale too. Were they a gamer? If not, were they asked by friends and family to try the game? What were their initial thoughts about Elder Tale, a game that's likely as old or even older than they were, finally available for them to play? Did they have any goals for how they wanted to play the game?
Playing as a Person of the Land is different. They are essentially NPCs of Elder Tale, having gained their own personalities due to the transition. Therefore, their history is much more relevant to the world setting. In the Unfounded Kingdom, many of the noble ruling class have disappeared a long time before, leaving mainly the common citizens. Over a few generations, these people banded together to attempt to rebuild their society. They returned to a more simpler lifestyle beside the land - hence their title as People of the Land. They are born from the earth and will someday return to the earth. Unlike Adventurers, if their HP should reach 0, they suffer a permanent death. If you choose to play as a Person of the Land, you must heed your physical limitations. We're not out to get your character, but just know what you're getting yourself into before you decide to play as a Person of the Land.
