[attr="class","ws"] [attr="class","h"]IN GAME NAME [attr="class","fc"] [attr="class","bi"]REAL NAME: Samuel Malik [attr="class","bi2"]REAL GENDER: Male [attr="class","bi2"]GENDER: Male [attr="class","bi2"]AGE: 19 [attr="class","bi2"]SEXUALITY: Heterosexual [attr="class","bi2"]FACE-CLAIM: Anime Pirate [attr="class","bi2"]PLAYED BY: Gemini [attr="class","bi2"]FACTION: Adventurer [attr="class","h2"]Appearance [attr="class","b"]( link In terms of a game character geminin is extremely tall, standing in at six foot six and weighting one hundred and sixty-two pounds he is a force to collide with. Gemini is a pirate in all cases as he wears a blood red bandanna that hides his black wolf ears, as well as holds up his dark brown hair that goes down to his collar bone when let down. Hanging on the right side of that bandanna is multi-colored jewels, all of which he earned back when he was with his old guild. His right ear is pierced with three silver beads, all that have a two-inch metal wire hanging down from them. His eyebrows are very thin and well groomed , underneath those one will see two dark emerald green eyes. His skin is highly tan from always being out in the sun on the seas, his chest has many scars from previous battles. Despite being as skinny as he is Gemini has an extremely built body, one could say he has a swimmers build. Gemini's clothing consists of a brown semi-trench coat, with white fluff coming out from under the collar, which has golden buttons. The white fluff only extends down to where his chest would end, and it's always unbuttoned showing his bare collar bone. Just beneath his pecks is a white wrapping, being layered as if he has an injury beneath them. The Pirate has long arms with the same white wrapping on his wrists, which goes down to cover just the bottoms of his palms. He wears dark blue pants that are extremely loose, only being held up by a long red cloth that's tied around them. He of-course wears jet black boots, which extend upwards to the middle of his calves; his dark blue pants are tucked into those boots. [attr="class","h3"]Personality [attr="class","b"](AHOY! Everyone knows Gemini as the Clumsy Pirate, it's true and that's exactly what he is....Clumsy. He loves being a pirate and even tries to act like a bad guy sometimes to "Keep his image." However, this be not the case and he has a good heart, but let's not get that confused with his calm demeanor. Just be forwarned ya land lubbers, one not dare give Gemini a simple task; like doing the dishes. If they do... They best be prepared for a tidal wave of destruction for their kitchen to become a vast wasteland. One full of broken china, crushed sponges, and worst of all.... All Yer food will be spoiled no matter the expiration date. He just sucks at doin regular things. Something happens to the scurvy dog when he enters a battle, he becomes a completely different person. A man who is shy and clumsy becomes a serious and sadistic individual. A hardy dog he is for once his ears come up, all hope for finding yer land of safety has been all but lost. In battle Gemini has no feelings nor since of remorse in those handsome green eyes of his, his humanity is lost and only a command from his captain will stop his onslaught of attacks. It is like he becomes a true wolf and you can bet your bottom gold coin that even when he appears in the cathedral, he will just sniff you out and continue picking you limb from limb. [attr="class","h3"]History [attr="class","b"](Minimum of 200 words is necessary. Explains the character's history prior to beginning their adventure in Elder Tale.) First of all, we do ask that you keep the history somewhat believable given the time of the story (2018). Some suspense in belief is okay, but "cyborgs traveling 4 years back through time to play the game" is not such a good idea. Might be best to take your time and start with the early history. Not necessarily too early, but enough to give you a background. If Adventurer, how was your character's childhood? Did they have a happy life with friends and family? If not, explain the troubles they've had in their years and how they've managed to deal with it. How was their schooling? Were they one of the better students or were they the delinquent type? However much more you can add depends on how old your character is. Perhaps you can talk about whether they've been in relationships, whether they've had jobs, whether anything that happened in their past shapes how they behave today. Hopefully you should have a long enough history as is, but now you can talk about how your character discovered Elder Tale too. Were they a gamer? If not, were they asked by friends and family to try the game? What were their initial thoughts about Elder Tale, a game that's likely as old or even older than they were, finally available for them to play? Did they have any goals for how they wanted to play the game? Playing as a Person of the Land is different. They are essentially NPCs of Elder Tale, having gained their own personalities due to the transition. Therefore, their history is much more relevant to the world setting. In the Unfounded Kingdom, many of the noble ruling class have disappeared a long time before, leaving mainly the common citizens. Over a few generations, these people banded together to attempt to rebuild their society. They returned to a more simpler lifestyle beside the land - hence their title as People of the Land. They are born from the earth and will someday return to the earth. Unlike Adventurers, if their HP should reach 0, they suffer a permanent death. If you choose to play as a Person of the Land, you must heed your physical limitations. We're not out to get your character, but just know what you're getting yourself into before you decide to play as a Person of the Land. You can include things not already described in the previous sections like blood type, dominant handedness, character trivia, personal comments, etc. No word minimum. Oh yes, while we're at it, after you post up your completed character app, you might want to stick it in archive.org/web/. Go to the bottom right of the page, paste in the link to your profile and then save the page. That way you can recover it in case it gets accidentally deleted or overwriten.) |

A successful hit will result in a Bleeding status ailment, which deals damage to the target every time they use a skill or attack. This is accommodated by the wound area seeping out a constant trail of blood. Despite the move's somewhat gory animation, this bleeding effect is fairly minor and scales in a manner similarly to a poison effect. Also, for the next 10 seconds, the target's attack speed will be decreased by 10% due to the pain associated with moving the arms. This skill has a 2 second animation time and a 9 second cooldown. [attr="class","skill"]Bleeding Spades: Tier I Skill This skill coats the weapon or projectile with a small amount of mana that reacts with a foreign target's own bodily mana to create poison in the target's wound. When a target is struck by Bleeding Spades, they take minor poison damage over time for 12 seconds. If Bleeding Spades is used while the target is affected by Viper Raise, the poison duration doubles to 24 seconds. This skill has an animation time of 2 seconds and a cooldown of 12 seconds. If the Swashbuckler uses Bleeding Spades while its poison effect is still affecting the user, its duration will refresh to 12 seconds (24 seconds if Viper Raise's effect is still active). [attr="class","skill"]Fencing Style:Tier I Skill A passive skill that activates when the swashbuckler is only equipping a single one-handed weapon and nothing in their off hand, increasing the attack damage of their one-handed weapon. Dual wielding has its merits in granting the swashbuckler with an opportunity to apply two different effects to the opponent upon a successful hit, while fighting with the Fencing Style sacrifices this versatility for a greater form of fighting stability. [attr="class","skill"]Allure:A toggle skill that can be used anytime in a conversation with People of the Land. It allows the Courtesan to smooth over any mistakes and retain the target's attention. Often, this skill can also be used to obtain information that would otherwise require long interrogation. Allure's effect scales with the Courtesan's subclass level, becoming more effective at higher levels [attr="class","skill"]Timber:Toggle skill. Woodcrafters naturally have an affinity for chopping and carving wood, making their abilities key in harming monsters that happen to be arboreal in nature. Woodcrafters deal 20% more damage to Plant-type monsters. They can also cancel buffs on Plant-type monsters upon a successful hit. If you choose a two-handed weapon, leave the other hand as N/A. Bow users get a quiver of wooden arrows or wooden bolts (you'll have inifnite ammo for now btw since it is too annoying for us to keep track of ammo usage, icly it is a limited amount though; and toss them in your inventory).
