Allie’s pollen did nothing to slow Eglantine’s progress, though she supposed she had nothing to compare it to. As it was, they still moved through the streets quickly. There were Adventurers and People of the Land still out and about, but the few who did notice a girl flying backwards and trailing pollen behind (or in front of?) her chalked it up to hallucinations or a gag or something. Still dangling at least a foot off the ground, the Druid had no way of pushing or pulling herself up to improve her position.
The ghost continued cackling to itself while they travelled. Eglantine assumed it was Peeves who had her, despite his earlier show of rebelliousness towards the other one. Walburg or Wilhelmina or something. She wondered if help would come. It was to her misfortune that, of all the times she had to be clearheaded and not have a memory of her husband blending into her daily life, this was one of them. She didn’t bother struggling and blocked out the ghost’s prattling, trying to keep track of where they passed so that when she was finally released, she could find her way back.
It did happen eventually, at a graveyard no less. Eglantine just suddenly slipped though the ghost as if it sublimated. She was lucky that she crashed into a bush instead of a gravestone, but the experience was still far from being pleasant.
“Having fun, ickle healie?” It said in a sickening simper. Eglantine got up to her feet and clenched her fists. Previous evidence proved that pulling out her weapon wouldn’t do a thing to help her stop it, and would only give Peeves something to use against her.
“So why did you bring me here?” Specifically, “here” was at the edge of London. Checking her status screen however, she was still safely within the no-combat zone. Peeves cackled from several feet away.
“Hush.” Eglantine’s skin crawled. There was a small interval between the cackling and the whispered command, but Peeves had said it right in her ear, bringing a cold breeze with it. Again, something grabbed her, and again she was pulled backward, but now she was hidden in the bushes behind a tree, while something else had grabbed her Alraune and dragged her away, towards the edge of the zone. London was a city and a zone in itself, but there were many exits out of it, and this seemed to border one.
“Do you think they’re coming?”
The sound of running could be heard not too long afterward. The bartender and the pianist, no doubt, but she couldn’t see them to be certain of it.
“She went that way.” Peeves simpered. Unbeknownst to Eglantine, he gestured towards the edge of the zone, where the graveyard stretched on and crossed into the fields outside London. There would be monsters out there, but it was unclear who knew what about any of this. “You better find her!” Peeves cackled, his chilly presence disappearing with a blast of wind, though whatever was holding Eglantine did not. Perhaps the ghost was just hiding, waiting to see what would happen next.

"Achoo~." Damn sinuses - 'Wait.' Elkeid squinted at something moving just outside her vision. It was a glowing trail...of pollen. Elk's nose wanted to cry in protest, but her hand chose to ache more at that point. The amount of pain she should be feeling had still yet to increase, though it was noticeable. The little Elven Bard - Indy - streaked after the glowing trail, but Elk took her time as she followed them. The back of Indy's blond head stuck out like a flare, and once she equipped her Venetian Earrings, she could track the ghost's supernatural energy - or the traces he left behind, anyway.
She casually ripped off the corner of a blouse hanging from a neglected booth, and used it to bind her broken and bloody knuckles. It was only a temporary fix, but would stop the bleeding and lower the odds of an infection. Plus, she had no idea if she would be forced to fight or not, and would rather not have to soften her blows too much or favor her right. Although she wasn't a leftie or ambidextrous, Elk had one hell of a southpaw. It was funny because it always threw off people who were expecting her to use her right hand. Having a screwed up hand wasn't going to change that one bit.
As the party she was pursuing picked up their pace, Elk's gait went from relaxed to powerwalking. By the time they neared the graveyard, she was running and had caught up to Indy. Watching short people run was oddly amusing, but she was the tank and Exorcist here. It would probably be better for her to take on whatever damage the ghost would dish out. That, and Indy would not make a very good meat shield. With his size, he was better fit to be a buckler or human sword. She sized the little man up right now, wondering how he would react to being scooped up like a child and brandished like a bulky long sword.
For a moment, she seriously considered grabbing the man when they stepped into the graveyard, though what use would he be as a weapon? Ghosts didn't have solid forms, so it would be useless to rely on anything but her Exorcist skills. She swung one arm out to the side to halt the pianist as a voice sounded from somewhere in the graveyard. It had the quality of that wretched Peeves, and because there were very few distractions on this area, she was able to make out most of what he said. His words couldn't be trusted, though. 'How do we know he's not just trying to send us on a wild goose chase?' Or was that what he wanted them to think? For all she knew, Eglantyne could be outside London, hanging from the back of her knickers.
As if to disprove her suspicions, however, the glow from her earrings diminished. That meant the ghost was either retreating back to the bar, or just out of her range. "Hmph. We'll deal with him later." She could try tearing this graveyard apart for him, but there was bound to be some lingering spirits in the area. It would just confuse her more than anything. "Looks like we're roughing it. I hope you aren't afraid to get your hands dirty." She flicked the wrist of her injured hand at him for unintended emphasis.
Assuming the little man would follow, Elk slammed her right hand over the fence encircling the yard, and vaulted over it with ease. Someone of Indy's stature would possibly have a harder time of climbing over it, however. In hindsight, it proooooobably would have been best to give Indy the boost over first. It would have saved her the trouble of jumping right into a thatch of Brier Weasels. The woman couldn't help but feel duped as several whips made from vines bit into her legs and thighs. She stomped onto the head of one of the weasels, and punted another one a few feet away from her. Incorporeal form or not, she was going to strangle that neeping ghost. Notes:Short people~.
