Akira stared at the map she had pulled up of the Moon Dance Forest. She hadn’t been playing Elder Tale for very long so she hadn’t really had a chance to see or do much of anything. She had made a few friends but none of which she had seen in awhile. It had been about a month since she had seen her few friends, but that was going to change. Akira was determined to make new friends. Right after she explored Moon Dance forest and all the beauty it held.
Akira continued to stare at the map of the forest. She could visit the village in it--which seemed to have something to do with her Japanese ancestry--or she could go to the lake in the east end of the forest. Of course, there was always just exploring the forest and finding things as she went. Deciding that she liked the third option the best Akira set off to go explore the forest by skipping in the general direction of the forest. After about 15 minutes she stopped skipping and just walked casually but with a slight bounce in her step. Akira walked for about fifteen more minutes until she arrived at a sign labeled “Moon Dance Forest.”
Upon seeing the sign Akira grinned to herself. This should be fun she thought as she took her step into the forest. Looking around as she kept walking haphazardly--without a path through the forest--she saw moonlight filter in through the bright green leaves and onto the forest floor in a beautiful harmonious way. Akira saw something twinkle and shine out of the corner of her eye. A sign from my precious deity Lyssa. Akira grinned maniacally and as wide as she could before starting to chase the light. Her fun night of exploring would have to wait. Her god was sending her on a mission!
Every so often Akira would see the twinkle on the ground and she’d pounce on it with her fox ears and tail twitching in excitement. She kept chasing the twinkle or light or whatever the hell it was until she lost it. The moon was bright, full, and high in the sky by the time she lost it. Several hours had passed and Akira was completely lost in the forest. She had no idea where she was and neither did her map. It wasn’t exactly ideal to be lost but it’s not like anything bad could happen. Akira started walking straight until about fifteen minutes passed and she came upon a beautiful green meadow full of flowers and off to one side there was a lake that looked a little bit out of place in the meadow but she was fine with it because the whole picture put together was still beautiful. Akira wandered over next to the lake and stared at the moon’s reflection on it. It was beautiful. Just like her Lyssa. Her tail twitched in delight. She smirked and got out her bottle of chicken blood from a festival she had gone to. Akira would do a worshipping ritual to her goddess.
She smiled manically and giggled to herself. Akira walked over to the dock on the lake and sat down on it. She opened the bottle and dipped her finger it. She drew Wiccan looking designs all over the dock and shouted her incomprehensible chant.
