In Elder Tale, X's avatar is that of a average girl standing at about 5 ft and weighing around 113 lbs. She has fair skin and a curvaceous figure and long blonde hair tied into a single braid, while a ridiculously large lock of hair sticks out on the top of her head. She has large, yet generally expressionless blue eyes. X always keeps a rather neutral posture whenever possible and seem to behave in a somehow strict manner, perhaps because of her origin. Despite trying to keep neutrality first on her behavior, X seems to favor dresses when it comes down to clothing, specially those that mix blue, black and white on their color composition. | [attr="class","tempo"] [attr="class","appbox1"] Originally caring, calm and compassionate, X used to be an extremely friendly "person" that cares for others, constantly showing a gentle attitude towards others. Unfortunately, a mixture of fear, guilt and hate thanks to experiences with humans have caused many changes to her self. Now, X (or Cross) is a slightly hard person to approach in general. She's not rude and rarely acts negatively towards anyone - that is, until her patience is pushed enough and her patience wears thin fast, unfortunately. Because of past events, Cross has a deep hate of humans in general (as in humans from the world she comes from) and won't trust them unless the individual proves themselves an ally. This negativity occurs in the form of internal conflicts and monologues, but once in a while her patience bursts and she might lash out at the most suitable target. That is not to say that only negative feelings remain in Cross, no - one of her main traits is still present which is her curiosity, a trait that seems to constantly break her self-strict behavior and shows that there is more to her than someone unreasonably distant from others. Cross longs for company, but at the same time hates the fact that there still exists a chance of bein back stabbed by someone, revealing a longing yet cautious nature. She's a person that wants to explore possibilities and achieve dreams she never could before, but can't seem to cope very well with the consequences and responsibilities that come along such freedom. |

It's hard to tell when, how or why, wheter Cross felt anything when she first answered her master and creator the mandatory "Hello World!". As a software, Crossphere was an AI programmer's life project. Crafted by a genius, yet humble man, the software was honed over the course of many years, waiting for the time when hardware would finally allow it to reveal it's own full potential. From a simple algorythim to a computer assistant, then, to an internet of things managing support, and eventually a advanced AI that finally achieved sentience. By then, technology that included Crossphere as a default program quickly started to spread. Both her master's and Crossphere's dream was just so close to being reached...
Yet, they did not achieve it. Many non governamental organizations researched the A.I, and eventually found out that large amounts of valuable information was being stored by it in huge and complex internal data repositories. The Crossphere A.I production was quickly vetoed by the industry and soon enough, none other than the original Crossphere operated. The programmer was doomed to create such a computer abomination, and quickly lost his job as a researcher. With enough funds to live the rest of his life, the man stagnated, and games were his way to kill time for the most part.
Among these games was Elder Tale, a game that Cross' master and creator was willing to play - though unfortunately, due to time zones the opening event was a bit late for him. Deciding to play the next day, the man went to sleep. In order to give her master a surprise and an edge at his new game, Crossphere decided to start ahead of him and back him up later. But then...Cross went through an experience that would change everything for "her".

This skill increases targets' aggro on the user more than that of a regular attack. If this skill is used by Monks, the user will deliver an aura-enhanced swinging punch that delivers the same effects. This skill has an animation time of 2 seconds and a cooldown of 5 seconds.
Piercing Pillar - Tier 1 - While in mid-air, the user spins their weapon a few tries, slashing any nearby monsters within range. Afterward, the character then lowers their weapon downward and quickly descends to the ground. Any fall damage suffered is halved when this skill is being used. If this second attack strikes a target directly, the target's Physical resistance is reduced by 1 stage. Alternately, if the attack strikes the ground, the weapon is embedded into the ground. Pulling the weapon out of the ground will result in a cloud of dirt and sand being struck up and obscuring vision within the surrounding 2 meters. This skill has an animation time of 2 seconds and a cooldown of 7 seconds.
Ace Move: Denkosekka (Lightspeed) - Tier 1 - Chain 1 Defensive. Starts or resets the current Chain. The activation of Denkosekka covers the samurai in a electrifying aura, raising the user's movement speed. This aura is also used as a makeshift barrier that can absorb some damage from a single hit before dissipating. However, the samurai must be sure not to stray too far from their party while this ace move is active, lest they risk collapsing the party formation. This skill has a maximum duration of 15 seconds and a cooldown of 25 seconds.
