Good morning, good afternoon, and good evening every one. Azoth here with some quick updates and notifications to keep you all in the loop.
Over the past week, or few weeks, things have been relatively quiet update-wise and I have essentially given you all the barebones game to play here on the Forum. I do wish to apologize for being slow with updates but I will provide my reasons for this in a bit. I do hope you all are enjoying yourselves with the light, should I say, Alpha version of what is being prepped. Things have slowed down in the CBox and chatting is pretty light, so I do assume that you all are either bored or just being(impatiently) patient. More quests will be added during the week and things will begin to be adjusted to shift the Alpha into a Beta-version, as the Crafting System is nearly finished. But, rather than drag on, I'll get into the grit.

- Two Moderators - Fallash and Yaela
So this has been a thing for quite a while, but I just want to actually note that these two Persons now exist on the site. Yaela is the Quest Moderator who's duty is to approve quests, as well as grading them when they are completed. Fallash's duty is to check, grade, and approve profiles. I will be doing a lot less of this work as I finish updating the site. If you have any questions about Quests or Profiles, feel free to ask these two. They will answer your questions as best as possible. If they cannot, I am generally available. - The Questions and Answers board
Previously, there wasn't exactly any real place for Questions to be asked formally on the forum. At least, it wasn't explicit as it was actually the Support board. Now, there's an actually board. I ask that all Questions are asked here, rather than in a Private Message, on Discord, or in the CBox. The reason for this is because if you ask it in a thread then other people can see the Staff's response later, and we don't have the same questions being asked. In addition, this holds the Staff to consistency. If there are discrepancies and someone asked the answer in the Q&A Board, then the Staff are held accountable for their answer. Thus, answers may be a bit slower but responses will be fuller and more conclusive. - Item Drops
Item Drops have been installed into the system and they have been made available for viewing. As quests are completed, expect to being to receive these items for your material rewards. More rewards will be added as you all progress through the levels and higher level monsters become available in Quests, however I have added the items which pertain to currently available monsters to y'alls levels. - Crafting and Research Updates
Okay, so I will note here some quick updates to the C/R System. For starters; Reforges are going to be shifted to post-based Buffs. What this means is that there will no longer be any percentage boosts to reforges. Instead, buffs will reduce cooldowns on skills, increase durations, and increase staff debuff/buff durations. In response to this, Skills will be getting adjusted to match this. Instead of there being "seconds" for cooldowns, there will be posts and/or cycles. Keep in mind, these cooldowns will only be enforced in GMed threads. If you are in a normal party thread, it is up to you as a player to show your own discipline for cooldowns. Your teammates will check you as well.
For the Crafting system, there isn't much change. Item Quality has been adjusted to show off strength of items, reforge possibilities, as well as potential unlockable abilities. The only big difference is the shift from materials being paid for to having to be actually gathered. There are not a lot of Material gathering quests at the moment, but they will be added shortly. - The Leveling System
It has come to my attention that I am horrible at developing EXP Systems. Oh it's bad. The AP System is still a no and it will not be coming back, however the Ticket system is just too difficult in terms of leveling up right now. Quests are actually skewed in terms of rewards. With that being said, I will be adjusting the numbers to change up the requirements to level up. Rewards will also be adjusted as well.
*Quests that have already been graded will not have their rewards changed. - The Subclasses
Subclasses will be getting adjustments in terms of Lore, Passives being added or changed, and some skills being adjusted to make them more playable.
Quests will be added to specifically target subclasses when the rework is completed, so don't fret. The rework for these isn't too much and there's only really a few subclasses I'm eyeing specifically. Most will remain the same. - The AP Shop
This damned shop will be the end of me, and I'm getting tired of it.
A week ago I made a note in the Site Procedures Thread that the AP Claiming would end on the 11th. I also noted that the AP Shop would close on a Sunday, which would be the 6th. There's a problem. With that being said, the AP Shop has been reopened until Wednesday. After that, it's done. I don't care what argument someone comes up with, it's done. I want to move on and do other work on the site. On Wednesday at 8PM EST, the AP Shop is done.
