What Have We Been Up To...?
Hello, Harmonie here! It's been about a month since I announced the transfer of admin-ship from Azoth to me. Since then, the moderators and I have been keeping quiet. However, we have been hard at work behind the scenes, working our hardest to bring new content to Elder Tale. So, without further ado, here is an update from all the staff members:

However, we have been hard at work behind the scenes, working our hardest to bring new content to Elder Tale. So, without further ado, here is an update from all the staff members:
"I'm working on creating a cohesive plot that works in tandem with the new and old mechanics that we're bringing onto the table. Several old threads from the encyclopedia and guidebook directories will likely change over the course of following months. This is to ensure all of the things Nielsen and Desue work from a plot perspective, I could be some kind of quality checker in some frame of mind.
What I personally will be working on will be brainstorming future events, dungeons, monsters and the plot our little trapped characters will venture through. Baseline monsters like those dumb boars or cheeky rabbits will stay, since so many people killed enough of them that I'll start to get a headache if I change anything about them. So to summarize, I'll be helping other mods with explaining their ideas and fully integrate them into the new world we're going to build, if you have any ideas please forward them to me if you so desire."
I am currently working on giving the subclasses, and their associated skills, some much needed love. As far as I can tell, there have not been too many updates to them since the beginning, and they are just in need of some cleaning. To that effect, I am combining some similar classes, and modifying their skill sets to match. As far as skills go, ... This is where a lot of that much needed TLC is needed. As such, I am flushing out all the skills to level 90, as opposed to the partial lists there curretly are. I am also reworking how the skills affect the player, or evolve over time. When I have these changes more finalized, I will be looking for some feedback from the community, since ultimantly, it will be everyone thatsd using the changes I make.
After I have the changes to the subclasses more or less nailed down, I will be working with the other mods on the crafting system, as from my understanding, crafting was never really explained too well in the first time, and there are some features I want to add to it.
More updates on all of theses to come from me at a later time, as everything does take time, and I want to do it as "right" as I can.
Hello everyone! Many people are curious as to what we are doing so here's a little summary of what I've been up to. Lately I have been working on streamlining systems that the site runs on. The goal of this is to cut down the time it takes to get things approved by utilizing active members. Once it’s all finalized I'll be sure to get more descriptive on it!
Onto PvP. I know this is a touchy subject but a lot of people have interest in doing some form of a Player Killer. To address this, I want to make it not only viable as a character leveling and resource route but have it as somewhat antagonistic. I plan to have both Player Killers and the ones who hunt them be able to make money and roleplay it out in a fun and interesting way. The good thing is that I know many of you don’t want to be attacked without warning so I am making sure to limit it to those interested in partaking!
Guilds and guild housing: This is still in the works but I am planning to flesh this out more. Just know that there will be great benefits that potentially come along with this that will tie in all classes in different ways.
Following that I'm also working with the staff to address concerns and issues with the crafting system. Our goal is to make it easy and intuitive so that all our members, crafters as well as others, can get the most out of experience. I will also be trying to tackle how research is completed so players have a better idea of what to do and what its benefits are.

And finally, back to me! As administrator, I help facilitate meetings between staff members, set deadlines, and all around make sure that staff is staying on track with what they are doing. I also provide support and feedback where necessary. I will also be helping Bulwark with creating the prologue/first event for the forum, redesigning the site's appearance with a new skin, as well as handling any communication with other RP websites, etc.

With all that said, here is a little timeline as to what you can expect. We are hoping to introduce at least one or two new things in May. The higher something is on a list, the sooner it will be completed and available to the site:
