Urgent Report - Londinium Under Fire!

Londinium has come under attack! 

Eye-witnesses have reported in that a group of strange individuals have planted weird devices around the city of Londinium, and then hastily fled the scene. After about a five minute time in between, these weird devices have EXPLODED! The explosions have caused damage to various areas of Londinium, including landmarks like the London Eye, the Parliament Building, and Oxford University! Explosions took place on the exterior portions of the landmarks, and caused minimal damage, as the explosives that were used were made of crude components.

Of the components, one of the major portions of it is Black Powder, recently discovered, and highly explosive in large quantities. This new element hasn't been out for long, but the organization that caused the attacks have put much research into its application and usefulness. Further reports on other components are inconclusive, as the explosions have disintegrated all other parts of the crude bomb.

Another Eye-witness experienced the explosion first hand, as the one who detonated the bomb had called something out before the explosion. "It... It was something I've never even heard of before..." The Eye-witness confessed. "They shouted something about a 'resurrection' and 'tribute' to someone, or something. Was this some kind of lore that we never heard of before?" An interesting take on the whole matter. Is there something even deeper, something even darker, going on in the background?

As of this report, there have been multiple injuries, but 0 casualties for either Adventurers or People of the Land. As the rubble falls down, and people begin to recover themselves, an investigation into the explosives will be under way. So many questions circulate around this incident. Further reports will be posted, as more information becomes available.


Okay, flavor text aside, this will be an event that the Adventurers and Landers (Non-Lune) can partake in. The threads that will be created, within the next day, will be separated by Levels. As such, I'm thinking that the level ranges for each thread be 1-19, 20-49, and 50+, just so everybody can get in on the action, if they so desire. Originally, I was just thinking that one or two threads would be enough, but the more I thought about it, the more it made sense to me that there should be more than just one or two, so everybody gets a valid chance to RP and earn rewards based on participation. For now, this is just an informational post, as well as to gauge responses on what you guys think about the whole situation. Bombs in Londinium? Resurrection and Tribute? The heck does all this mean? Spoiler: It isn't a Double Rainbow, so there actually is an answer to this one.

These threads will be GM'ed by me (Neko Hiro) and will likely be updated once every day or two, depending on the number of people involved. There won't be a posting order, or a sign-up, so let's just try to have fun with it! Please, though, take the time to respond to all this. Your input will make this all the more enjoyable for all of us. At least, I think so. But, what do I know? I'm a cat. Meow.

THE STORY CONTINUES!

Intelligence reports of multiple shady-looking people leaving the city through various means! Eye-witnesses report a figure running through the main gate of Londinium, heading directly for the Windsor Greatwood, a bulky mass atop a horse, riding out towards Sarum, and a large number of people surrounding a mysterious figure, headed down into the Underground tunnel system! The local authorities have given the go-ahead for ragtag groups to investigate and pursue these strange figures. Rise up, and strike back!

Additionally, authorities are looking for Craftsmen to help with the control and rebuilding of major locations around the city. Any groups who wish to help out with the reconstruction or maintenance are free to do so at their own discretion. Report to the Authority Head when the job has begun for a reward, after its completion.


A smaller addition to the Event in the way of flavor text, but this will include links to all the Event Threads. Keep in mind, I made these threads yesterday, and I'm just moving them to where they need to be. Once again, signing up isn't a necessity. Feel free to go ahead and post. One thing I'll ask is that nobody god-mod to where they are attacking these figures immediately. I'll give options for people to do at the end of each post, after the first ones, which will be to gather people up in the locations provided. That being said, all these threads will likely not have a threat of death, so if People of the Land characters wish to participate as well, they may.

Once again, these threads are separated by level ranges. These level ranges are based on Main Class Level, of whichever one character you wish to participate with. Now, here they all are:
Level 1-19: Windsor
Level 20-49: Sarum
Level 50+: Londinium Underground

As another note, anybody who posts in the wrong section(s) will be notified by a moderator to remove the post, and post in the section where they are able to respond in based on their level. Along with this, if a person is posting with multiple characters/accounts, the user will be asked which one they wish to RP with, and ask that the other post be taken down. Failure to comply within 48 Hours (2 Days), or refusal to do so, will result in the post being deleted by a moderator. If a member sees that another member is posting in the wrong section, due to their level, please treat their post as null and void. Sorry, but the reason why I wanted to have separate threads based on levels is to allow everybody an equal chance to influence the plot of the site, in their own way. Please understand this, as it will make the site much more fruitful in the end.

One final thing to mention is the last portion of the flavor text: This is an idea I had just come up with, to get more people into crafting higher-leveled things. If interested in participating in this, please PM me your idea of the thread, the names of others to be involved, and I will either accept or deny the idea for a +10% Bonus AP for the thread for those listed. This will only apply once per Role-Player, but it will apply for the entire thread.

I know this is kind of a long attachment with a ton of rules and stuff (Baka Hiro) but this is all for the sake of having each and every member get the chance to influence the plot equally.
