Dorian stood alone in front of the cave's mouth, glancing around at the rock and shale that formed the walls inside and the edges of the entrance. "Well... this might work. There's probably some decent stuff in here," he muttered to himself, lowering down to his knee and dusting his hand over the ground to test the rock floor. Should we investigate in further? We may want a better idea of what's inside. Aurelia spoke up from within the Shaman's mind, his Shikigami observing the cave's entrance alongside him. "No, it should be fine; besides, preparing for the unexpected is part of the learning experience. We want to teach whoever we find in Sarum as much as possible." Dorian finally stood up and dusted his hand off on his leather.
Turning around to face away from the cave, the Shaman glanced around at the nearby area; he had found himself off the beaten path from the main city of Sarum, in an area designated as the 'Old Quarry Caverns'. He had not been here before now, but had heard of it when reading over quests on the boards in the city, or from miners in the local taverns. The area was mostly grey due to the abundance of rock, though much of it was cracked and damaged from the use of pickaxes by the miners. Large pock marks were in the stone in several places where ores were likely removed, and larger holes formed tunnels and caves that gave the 'Caverns' their name.
"In any case, all of this was pointless if we can't find anyone worth teaching," he muttered under his breath, glancing towards the sloped section of the quarry, which led down from the ridge he had climbed up to and connected with the road back to the city. "Hi ho, hi ho, to mentor we shall go." Moving down the slope, he found his way to the bottom and then began walking the road, taking the next hour or so through the changing landscape before arriving at Sarum's north entrance.
For the last few hours of the morning, he spent his time spreading word with the Landers and Adventurers within the city, giving hints and information to people roaming about the streets that a high-level Shaman is looking for Adventurers with beginner levels, offering guidance and accepting apprentices of all classes for a mentored journey into the Old Quarry Caverns. Some Landers got confused, but all accepted the knowledge and spread it themselves as much as they could; Sarum wasn't a low level area of the Unfounded Kingdom, but Dorian chose it specifically for this reason. He wasn't ready for an entourage of new players just yet, so hopefully choosing this place would get him one or two people who had yet to gain experience as Adventurers, and hopefully help them gain a firm standing in the world of exploration.
Once the word had been spread enough so that almost anyone in the city would know of it from word of mouth, he travelled to the Stone Swallow, the tavern Dorian had told the city he was going to be in. Pushing the doors open and stepping inside, he glanced around to see the place relatively empty, with only a few stragglers who hadn't left after the morning rush. Taking a table between the bar and the entrance, he positions himself in one of the chairs, grasping the hem of his cloth hood and bringing it down behind his head to reveal his face and hair. Leaning back, he felt the leather cling to his form, his body having grown decently muscular thanks to growing to level eighty in the two years since the Catastrophe.
Grasping his longsword from his back, he placed it along the wood of the table, pulling a clean rag from his inventory and using it to slowly start wiping it down the metal of the blade, being careful with it as he cleaned the edge off, bringing it back up to a polished shine. As he did this, his eyes occasionally glanced up at the door of the tavern, keeping an ear and an eye on it as he waited for any nubile Adventurers who would come for his spread rumour. "Time will tell if we see any activity from this; who knows, a high-level Adventurer is bound to catch some curious minds," he mumbled softly to himself, keeping his voice low so as not to draw attention from anyone else in the tavern; other than the ones already watching him due to his procedure of cleaning his weapon.

••Glacis Rainmaker•• Alright, new town, new adventure, new inspirations. Let's do this. Glacis thought to herself as she Glazed over her map. She was in Sarum today, after finally making her journey out of the beginning town of Londinium after... what, two whole years already? It was almost like a pilgrimage, a ritualistic journey that everyone probably had to make at some point, though it was much easier when the entire world was just a game. It was a voyage that lasted about 10 to 15 minutes and was nowhere near as tiring, and it didn't come after two years of sulking around, wasting life. Alas, things were different now. It was more of an adventure. More of an experience. She walked around the most populated area, looking at a map she had picked up. Of course, this map wasn't doing her much good, it's not like she was the best at reading such a thing. It was quite frustrating, really. he kept making wrong turns, not quite knowing which way she was facing at any given time. A map without a "you are here" sticker was quite useless. In the end she got so frustrated she tore the map to shreds, releasing the jagged bits of paper into the soft breeze where they floated to the ground and barely skated along the pavement, very anticlimactically. Aw, who needs a map anyway? She thought, Exploration is so much more fun without a plan to follow. Why should she have to let a little piece of paper tell her where to go? She just needed to go with the flow, right? That had been her general policy on life thus far, barring the two years of post-catastrophe shock and depression of course. Besides, its not like she was TRYING to go anywhere rather than just seeing what was out there in this new and unfamiliar place. Maybe it would prepare her for one day helping out with the discovery of this world's Scotland. So she walked around. Now that she didnt have her face stuck in a map she couldn't even read, she could see all of the people around her, and more importantly hear them. "Oh I'm doing just fine, you know Ellie said her first words last week?" "Oh that bakery down the road has the best baguettes I've ever tasted!" "Hey have you heard about that Adventurer looking for an apprentice?" This particular piece of gossip made Glacis slow down a bit, as it had piqued her interest. "Oh yes, the Shaman, right? It's all anyone has been talking about lately." "I hear he's at that old bar a few blocks away." Huh. A Shaman looking for someone to mentor. Interesting. As Glacis went about her exploring, it was a subject that she had the pleasure to over hear many more times. The talk of the town. All right Sarum, you win. Glacis now felt the need to look further into it. A high leveled Shaman at the Stone Swallow, huh? Well, after asking a few locals for directions, Glacis found herself on her way there. Getting there wasn't too difficult, not with people who actually knew what they were doing telling the young shaman where to go. Once she got there she entered, spotting the guy almost immediately. a man in cloth and leather armor relaxing in a chair, surrounded by landers and adventurers alike taking glances at him and gossiping in hushed tones. "Ah, is that the guy I've been hearing about?" "Oh i think that's him." Well that wasn't hard at all. With a friendly smile she approached the table with a stride, casually sitting down at it. "Well, well, you are quite the headline, aren't cha?" Glacis held out her hand in an introductory greeting. "Hi, I'm Glacis Rainmaker, Shaman looking for an adventure."••Words•• Post: 638

~~ TARIRI ~~ “Hey, I can learn many things from this world too, you know!” ‘Ooh, this is Sarum, huh?’ Tariri though to herself. ‘Well, time to explore this place. Haven’t seen this whole place before.’ Of course, she has spent around, well, two years in Londinium, so she should be in another place now. After all, what’s an Adventurer not going to other places to go to an adventure? That’s why Adventurers are called Adventurers! … Well, at least that’s Tariri’s definition. As she walked around, she is curious about one thing: are there interesting things in this place right now? “There might be. And if there are, this adventure might become more interesting,” she muttered to herself. With that thought occupying in her mind, she looked up in the sky— —Until she bumped into a tree. “OUCH!” She cried out in pain. Moments passed by that the pain relieved, little by little… … Until there’s a fruit that landed on her head. That fruit doesn’t really hurt that much, but some the pain that was just about the relieve got back again. Again, moments passed by that the pain relieved. After that pain is gone, she sighed in relief. “Hey, have you heard about that Shaman looking for an apprentice?” Tariri overheard two people having a conversation. “Oh, you mean that Shaman?” “Yeah, everyone’s been talking about that lately.” “I know, right? What’s with that, anyway?” “Well, I’ve heard he is at that old bar a few blocks away…” After that conversation, Tariri said, “A Shaman looking for someone to mentor? Well, that might be interesting… maybe I should join.” She should look for this Shaman, since she needs more skills to become a great Shaman. Well, maybe she should go to that Stone Swallow and find him. It took minutes to go there. Well, it wasn’t really difficult to get tot hat place. Once she entered, she saw a bunch of people surrounding a brown-haired man in leather armor, relaxing on a chair. She approached the man, her right hand on his table, and her left one just, well, relaxing. “Well, you must be the guy looking for apprentices to mentor, right?” Tariri asked in a polite tone. “My name is Tariri, and I’m a Shaman like you.”
