It was a bright and sunny day with the breezy winds that were flowing against her raven hair. The feeling the weather gave her was calming and peaceful. Despite the day being a perfect day to go out adventuring in the horizon and potentially increasing her levels and battling experience, her body didn't feel like doing much of anything too strenuous and taxing at the moment. Earlier in the day, she had observed that some adventurers were practicing their crafting sub class with vigor and intensely. It had looked like some of the adventurers were at times, frustrated but their satisfied smiles showed that they enjoyed all the hard work out into the results of the outcome. It was because of their looks they gave, which caused her to buy an old canvas and increase her crafting class levels by practicing drawing and painting. This was one of the only things in the Elder Tales game chosen by her cousins she was comfortable with and wasn't a problem compared to the main class of assassin where she had to be sneaky when she wasn't normally used to doing so. Being an artisan seemed really fun especially because she used to take illustrating classes in high school so hopefully the skills of an artisan would come naturally to her. During those boring lectures in high school, she had way more fun doodling in her notebooks to discreetly make fun of all those professors though there was this one time when she wasn't careful enough and got caught in the act. Unfortunately, the notebook also contained the name of the guy she had a crush on at that time and that information was announced and exposed to the rest of the classroom. That felt more humiliating and embarrassing than the teacher's widened eyes at seeing the insulting doodle of himself. It was only just made everyone in the room burst into laughter since most of them shared that same feeling toward the teacher as she did.
Spending time along the outskirts of the London city reminded her of being at a specific park she used to go to when she was feeling all blue and sad. Cooling her body under the shade of a large tree helped her calm herself and cure frustration from those days in situations that involved a personal argument and other such turmoils. This was a totally different and fantastical world but to her--some things seemed to feel so familiar. The smell of fresh air and the feel of the grass she sat on Indian style poked her skin when she first sat down but it was one of those few reminders that she relished and only made her home even more. She still needed that feeling, afraid she would forget the real world and those she loved. She firmly held onto her old canvas as she placed it on top of her right knee for leverage and held a pencil on her other hand. There was a problem though. She bit her top lip in trying to concentrate on what to draw but she came up with nothing. She just had no idea what to draw. It was like her brain did not feel like cooperating with her at the moment. Now she could just resort to easily drawing landscapes especially the one right in front of her but that just seemed too mundane for her. Or maybe it would have been a good idea to have politely asked a random person even a Lander to model for her but she would have been too embarrassed and uncomfortable to ask someone she didn't know that well. Besides, she didn't feel as confident as she usually would be if she was in the real world where everything was familiar to her. Was this the real world now? That was something to think about later. She did enjoy going to the zoo and drawing exotic animals in her free time and because it was stimulating to her and she loved animals. In the Elder Tales, most of the animals she had encountered wanted to kill her or she had to kill them herself. Back at home, she did own two loyal and obedient huskies named Nick and Rico and one proud female cat named Snowy and she did worry on how they were doing and if they were happy without her. They were the most affectionate and lovable pets she owned. She wondered if they were being fed enough especially since her father wasn't home that much and he was just only gradually stopping his womanizing ways.
Like a lightbulb, she grinned when a bright idea of what to draw sparked in her mind. She wondered why she did not think of that idea in the first place. She would have wasted less time if maybe she didn't overthink on such a simple task instead of letting the idea flow in her mind. The powerful wolf. That was one of her most favorite animals and obviously, the race her cousins chose for her in the beginning of the Elder Tales game. Sometimes she would forget because compared to the fox tail race, the traits and characteristics of the wolf tail race would only appear in the middle of the fight. Only then, she would feel and notice her five senses become enhanced and helpful in her accuracy in shooting. Drawing the wolf might prove to become difficult today as the winds began to pick up and the environment that made her calm became a place that maybe wasn't the best place to draw something that would possibly take some amount of time to finish. With that thought in mind, she sighed but knew she had to make the best of it right now. It would be too troublesome to move someplace else when she was already settled in. "Okay, let's start," she announced quietly to herself. Better now than never to begin her drawing of the wolf. But she had to have a clear vision of what to draw and stick with that vision so she could avoid starting all over again if she decided to draw something entirely different especially that she was also planning on selling her amateur drawing in the market place in London. She would be very lucky if even just one person was slightly interested in purchasing her sketch. She closed her eyes for a moment thinking on what kind of wolf and what position she wanted the wolf to be in. A grey wolf. That would be the easiest to shade since she only had one pencil and no coloring materials on hand with her. Standing up and howling. She always thought that the sounds of a wolf were haunting but beautiful in the way that other wolves would join in. They sounded like they were singing in harmony.
