Skill Heavy Anchor “Today was another day full of happiness and fun in the sun”, is what Nari wants to say, after trying to take part in the event of fighting the golems to gain more EXP he thought of taking out a lot of the Golem sentry, but who would of guess that the Golems where fairly large in height and in length? No… stupid Nari didn’t consider that fact and strolled around until he found the biggest and badest Golems he could find, and no Nari didn’t consider the fact that he could get out-numbered by them… as anyone would guess, Nari ‘was’ outnumbered and he ‘was’ having a hard time competing against with those hulking bundle of rocks in a fight.
After that humiliating defeat and barely getting out of that fight alive, Nari was wondering what he should do to compete against those hulking rocks, then he remembered that whenever he got to Sarum he saw a strange assassin with a weird cloak or something around him, he remembered he always took a detour to near this if he went to “rack some kills”, Nari figured it was a long shot but he might aswell go for it, since he also notices him near the area of his apartment back in London, so Nari thought, “he wouldn’t mind me tagging along with the ride right?”, well beggars can’t be choosers in a situation Nari decides he will take the detour as well, skipping by tree to tree he goes to where he takes the fork road of where the assassin takes the left while Nari takes the right, “I know this is the area where the Golem Sentinels and the Golem Phalanxes also are, taking a gamble where-ever the Golem Phalanx is defeated or not is just a gamble but hey, what are anyone goanna care about?"
With that, Nari dashes from tree to tree with just his glaive and not his platemail chestplate, deciding that he needs more speed when he’s facing the golems head on, thus he enters a clearing, a little camp is spotted over yonder and there’s a river running across the right side of him in the clearing, the sounds of huge foot-steps are heard beyond him, deciding that he should see what’s over there, Nari takes his time, witnessing all kind of things while the sounds of what sounds like huge boulders colliding with the earth in a basic rhythm of 1-2, 1-2, 1-2 which sometimes the pace increases or decreases. Nari notices that there are a lot of birds around the camp and in the remaining shrubbery around the clearing, also some are even perched on old of what looks like remains of dead and hollow Golems, the birds chirp happily to the sun and the wind which makes Nari can’t help but smile to the birds on their happy day, Nari also noticed other signs of life ahead, is it the assassin or a Golem? Or possibly both? Unknowingly Nari trudges onward with his glaive rested on his back via a little leather strap around his body.

Tags: | : Word Count : 0526 OOC Notes: Quick Slot: Windsor Antiqua Throwing Knives | Ryuu was in Sarum, trying to deal with the persistent problem of Golem Sentries. They had begun to amass once again, so Ryuu was attempting to make it as safe as possible for lower-level players. The amount that were nearby would kill most of the low-level adventurers that attempted to scour the area for loot and for action. It wasn’t the level of the mob, but the sheer size that was intimidating, and with Ryuu’s 54 levels above the average Golem Sentry, he would be able to take down quite a number of them with little time or effort. He was doing this as a favor for the Sarum Expedition party, as they had asked for help in doing so. Caerbannog had gone to take a separate front, far from his position, doing a similar task. The high-level characters knew that they would be able to finish the task quite easily, which is why they undertook the mission given.
As he walked nonchalantly out of the main camp, it wasn’t before long that Ryuu had noticed someone was stalking him. He turned around to look at the expanse, but not at anyone in general. He would see a figure behind him, looking as if he was trying to veer in a separate direction. Ryuu scratched his head, but did nothing more as he continued to walk towards the fields. He wasn’t deathly afraid here. The only people he knew that could do some serious damage to him were Saber and Caerbannog, both of which he figured he would not have to deal with in terms of combat. Saber, however, had gone looney the last time he had seen him, so he guessed that his fighting him would be a great possibility. Other than Saber, however, he felt no real thread, and the man who was following him was not nearly sneaky enough as he expected Saber to be. Saber was experienced and he would not hesitate to kill him by any means in any way necessary. It’s what Ryuu would do, should he be stalking prey. As soon as he got to the fork in the road, Ryuu went left. He decided to see what the person following him would do, as his [Eagle Track] had been activated in order to give him a blip on his map that would allow him to see what the other person was planning to do. As soon as he rounded the corner of the path he took, he dashed forward, attempting to go as fast as he could to meet his enemies. The golems were ahead, and there was only one place for them to be, and that was death. It took him only a few seconds to get through the split, which he then proceeded to dismember, disintegrate, and destroy all that was in front of him. He held no quarter and he did not hold back. All 60 levels of his being would be used on each of the golems, with his one hit, one kill method. This assassin was not one to be trifled with. At least, if you were a 10 foot tall Golem Sentry.

Skill Heavy Anchor Nari needed just a fraction of a second to spot anything, well… almost anything that is, seeing a though that the assassin has probably noticed Nari just from the get-go, Nari not caring for the scenery any longer, thus he waves to the birds and the birds tweet back towards him, with haste Nari notices that the assassin has already ran away but if Nari squints his eyes a bit he can see the assassins tunic that stick out like a saw-thumb in the day light even though the path had greenery that could go up to your knees, still Nari gave chase knowing that the assassin was in front of him dead-on, moments past that now Nari could even smell a human in front although it was only faint, but since Nari was taking a lot of gambles today so he might as well as “go on a roll” with the whole gambles and such.
It wasn’t hard trying to gain some ground against the assassin, in terms of speed, of course an assassin is the way to go if you want fast movement and speedy kills to top it off, but it also seemed like that the assassin was not trying to get away from Nari, probably not knowing that all Nari wants was a talk but seems as though as that he took it the wrong way and has mistaken Nari for a stalker or something like that, but didn’t it seem different as though as the assassin doesn’t care for the well-being of the person who wants to approach the assassin? , well or coarse he wouldn’t, it’s not like it’s his problem anyway huh?
Seeing as though the assassin has taken another left, and is now running towards Stonehenge at an alarming rate now, with the sight of the assassin once drawing closer but now ever so distant because his fixation on killing the those stone, tower-arcing giants as Nari would name them as of now that is, piles of dead and soon to be dissipating golem sentry’s are seen cleanly sliced into tiny rock formations or either huge rock formations from the left and right of Nari, seeing as though this assassin can do that and probably much more, the assassin is sure to be much stronger than Nari first anticipated.
Now picking up speed, Nari’s pupils begin to turn thinner by every slam of his foot upon the ground whilst catching up to the assassin as quick as he can he can notice that the path is beginning to widen out, the time in which Nari and the assassin will meet face to face is most likely near the hill of what Stonehenge rests upon, still hoping that Nari can convince the assassin to let him join the “fun” of what it means to be a member of a guild seeing as though not a lot of people know him either, a lot of the people of the land say very good things about this guild and it’s participants aswell.

He sheathed his daggers to show respect towards the oncoming man who was attempting to cross paths with him. The assassin looked up towards him as the guardian ran towards him. He was definitely taller than the assassin, but he could tell by his gear that he was still a beginner. He eyed the stranger warily, but did not move to attack him. He was one to give the benefit of the doubt to those that followed him. He never wished for any conflict, however if conflict found him, Ryuu would be sure to resolve it quickly, even if it meant the death of someone. The his light-black to brown hair was short and spiky. After a few more seconds of waiting, the now apparent wolf-hair had made it to his position. The assassin nodded towards the guardian. “I assume there’s a reason you are following me?” he asked. He didn’t say it in a way to sound offensive, although it very well could have sounded like that. He said it in a way to tell him he knew he was behind him. Not many followed an assassin, especially one that could dismember a golem in a single slash. It perplexed Ryuu that someone would follow him even after that. Many times they were challenges, to show that a level 56 assassin was just for show. Ryuu proved them otherwise, every time, but he never would have imagined a level 1 player doing the same. He least expected a request to his guild. Not many would risk their lives to meet him here in Sarum, when he was away from his office and guild house.
Ryuu had taken a break from his guild duties in order to further the expansion of Sarum. That meant that most, if not all applications to his guild were on hold. In order to be accepted, players would have to seek the Assassin himself, and since the Assassin was quite elusive, he was not found easily. This man, probably found him by chance, which was unlucky on his part. If someone had laid eyes on the Assassin, he would stop and give them time to make their case. Ryuu was not afraid of other players, but he did not like his time wasted. Regardless of the test of fire to run from the expeditionary camp to his position, Ryuu needed to know more about this person should he want to join.

. OOC: sorry if it's a little dark rien, but i intend for this character to leak some secret back story either way :3 (also the last paragraph was to add words to the count, but also to provide a little back story and a monologue-ish thing to boot, hope you don't mind~) :3 Equipped: Starter Halberd | Starter Platemail (just leggings)
Skill Heavy Anchor Nari, who successfully catched-up to the assassin named Kumori, the assassin sheathed his blades, to show respect or something? , most likely though Nari didn’t even matter if he had his blades out for that matter, Nari who sheathed his glaive a while ago, Kumori clearly showing that he has no patience for wasted time had asked him a question, with no hesitation at all Nari explained, “I have plenty of reasons, and I assume that you know I wasn’t following you just because of a little thing like “you dropped your diary” or something, I put to it strait and simple, I want to join in your guild, to fight with you, not just for you, for the people on this world, the other allies I’ll meet in the future and plenty of the other creatures which are not included in this fight against the unknown, I know this may be sudden and sounds “fishy”, *pupils going thinner* but I have lost things in the other world I want to repent for, but I’ll not look back against the past, not like “him” *saying the name with degust*, I’ll fight, with you and the others!” the nearly crying Nari had finally said it, the thing that he wanted to say for a long time, Nari continues, “how about we sit on the grass next to the hill over there *points forward* towards Stonehenge?, there I’ll give you a proper explanation and if you mind, I’ll like to tell you in detail why and how I found you, and I’ll say this beforehand, this encounter was not by chance, that I can ashore you”.
With the day as warm as ever the only thing that Nari can remember anything that he “wants” to remember is the time that he spent with his uncles and aunty that supported him, his cousins, and “her”, his only love, the woman that made Narihama, “Narihama”, and it’s not his mother, both Nari’s mother and father died before he knew who they really were, that made Nari’s heart flail a bit, but “Her”, she’s the only one “him” and Nari loved, the three of them, the only thing that he can remember her by was that her scent was like white lilies, her nature represented the flower also in a lot of ways and that only was the thing he remembered she loved, white lilies, that and “him” and Nari, but that story was for the people he “could” trust, Nari knew there was something about this Kumori, he was a person who would lead Nari to “him”, the only obstacle before him other than the knowing of that Nari has to kill “him”, his brother…

Quick Slot: Windsor Antiqua Throwing Knives | Ryuu looked at the man who was approaching him. He went through quite long winded monologue of what he was doing here. There were a few things that interested him. The first was that he wanted to join his guild. The second was that he had somehow arranged for this meeting to happen. He couldn’t help but think that he bribed a Person of the Land to arrange this quest for him. He looked ahead at the line of golems, but they had begun retreating further back into Sarum. He sighed but nodded. “Alright… Let’s go… I’m interested in hearing why I should allow you into my guild after just meeting you… in addition, I would like to know the punk who enabled you to set this meeting up,” he said while sighing. He motioned his hand to allow him to lead the way. “Please… lead the way,” he said. He would follow after the guardian. He wasn’t sure what to make of this. He’d listen to his story, but he could not guarantee a spot in his guild through just a story. He did, however, go through a lot of trouble to get him here.

Skill Heavy Anchor The warm heat of the sun was counteracted by the breeze while trying to catching up to Kumori, though now both the guardian and Kumori have now reached the start of the hill going up towards Stonehenge upon arriving, Nari sits on the grassland and gestures Kumori to sit, “I think I deserve an explanation huh?”, “no shit Sherlock” Nari mutters to himself not knowing if Kumori picked up that statement, Nari began to sigh a little, making sure he doesn’t sound like a total prick, Nari begins to explain, “Well for starters I think you shouldn’t call me a punk, I am a person who’s been tracking you for a while, and don’t think it was because a stupid reason” *gets up from grass*, “first is that I’m looking for my little cousin, Rumi, go’s by the name of ‘Shi’ in some of the other MMO’s we also played, and my other two cousins also, Yuri and Sakura, all of them are women if I may say so, another reason is that I’m acquainted with some friends you also know, Oxford, and another, Caerbannog, though personally I think she didn’t like me that much during the time I was with her in a quest, so I have to apologise on that front *mini bows*, also I’m not that bad in using all kinds of weapons, I could be a ‘weapon specialist’ if you will, as well as that I’m good at numbers and other accounting stuff, and finally…” Nari draws to a silenced state, wanting not to say it again, but suddenly the ground shakes a little, though only Nari can hear it because of his good ears, there wasn’t any people fighting some golems in the distance, there right below Nari and Kumori!, probably because Kumori is a much higher level than Nari, thus Nari not caring for his own safety yet again, kicks Kumori out of the way just in time before Nari gets uppercutted by a golems fist, Nari moving to where Kumori was gets sent flying up into the air by the fist, but for some reason Nari brought some aggro with him, then Nari crashes into the ground leaving a small crater, Nari looking in the vague direction of where Kumori was to see if he was ok, and upon exiting the mini crater, Nari notices that that uppercut was from a phalanx, standing large and proud looking down upon Kumori, seeing the phalanx was much stronger then the low level Nari, but still very concerned if Kumori was hurt in any way, “you can take care of yourself for a while right?!” Nari says out loud towards Kumori, Nari sees a bunch of golem sentries drag them self’s out of the ground, knowing that a surprise attack won’t work with Nari, “I’ll take care of these four!” shouting towards Kumori yet again, Nari just then notices some strange symbols on the Phalanx while he glanced in kumori’s direction for the last time “Be careful Kumori! There’s something wrong with that Golem!”, with that, Nari draws his glaive, “com’on you stones for brains! I’m right here!” and thus Nari charges towards the golems! WordCount: 529

Tags: | : Word Count : 0701 OOC Notes: Quick Slot: Windsor Antiqua Throwing Knives | Ryuu listened intently to what he had to say. He tilted his head when he said he did not wish for him to call him a punk. “I didn’t mean to call you a punk, rather… if this meeting was not by chance, and that someone made this happen forcefully, I’d like to know who it is. If you were tracking me, then I guess that’s a different story,” he said. He shrugged. He didn’t mean to call him a punk, at least that wasn’t his intent. He then explained that he was looking for his cousins. Ryuu looked at him, confused as to why he was telling him this. He didn’t know his cousins, and he doubted the ‘Shi’ he spoke of was the same Shi that he knew. Kurai Kari-Shi. Was this person the same that this man was speaking about? He couldn’t say yes or no. He had only met this person once, and she had made a terrible impression on him when they had first met. She had ‘accidentally’ stripped Jojo out of her bikini. The thought brought him back to the man in front of him.
“So… you’re looking for this person, however I’m not completely sure I know who she is. Oxford and Caerbannog, I know as well. Though if it is Caerbannog that does not like you, it is not me you should be apologizing to. She has her reasons for it, I would suggest you finding it out. She’s my little sister, and I don’t usually take kind to those she does not like, however, since she has not told me directly about it, I cannot hate you just for any reason. Your perception may be wrong,” he said simply. It took a lot to piss Kyuu off, so he couldn’t rely on his information completely. He took it into account, but until it was factored in, he decided to send a quick message to Caerbannog. “There’s this Nari guy who thinks you hate him… reasons? Should I invite him to the guild?” After clicking a few more buttons in his HUD, he sent it off and waited for a reply from his sister. Without a few seconds of wait, a message came back. “bad tank, no hate… なんでもいいです” was the reply. Even in written form, she doesn’t say much…” he shook his head. Maybe he was just too verbose? Who knew? Well, a bad tank was teachable, so long as they were willing to learn.
Ryuu felt a slight rumble below him, but it seemed that before Ryuu could look to see what it was coming from, the Guardian had already flown off. He watched him jump off to face the guardians, only to see him land back to where he was before. “Umm… I don’t think you should…” and off he went again. Ryuu sighed and shrugged. It seemed he was headstrong in that regards. He could see why he’d be a bad tank. Ryuu removed both of his daggers and killed the golems in front of him with a single slash. Now the Phalanx was a real problem. He had died once before, because of his similar actions of being foolhardy. This time, he was not the same man. “I pray you know what you’re doing,” he said softly to himself. Ryuu jumped off his feet towards the Phalanx. He decided that that was the main priority, and everything else was simply adds that needed not be targeted. Being 20 levels above a Level 20+20 Phalanx would be plenty to destroy it in a single blow. He simply used [Stealth Strike] and [Assassinate] on the foe and it crumbled down. The phalanx simply fell because of the stacked critical hits Ryuu landed with a single Assassinate. Ryuu simply finished up the rest of the golems that were nearby and then walked towards the group of golems that were assailing the guardian. At this point he was wondering if he should help him, or if that would damage the guardian’s pride. Well, if he was close to dying, Ryuu would make sure he didn’t die. “Umm… do you need some help?” he asked.

The EPIC spectacle of the golem phalanx was EPIC in Nari’s eyes, while the defeat of the phalanx was very apparent Nari noticed a couple of things, first was the way that Kumori utilized his daggers, the way he used it almost seem as he didn’t want another death to his own count, could Kumori of possibly lost against a phalanx before? Or he detested the golems that much so the golems didn’t have a fighting chance, though Nari didn’t care for either of the opinions “people have their own problems, there is no need for me to acknowledge each mistake this world gets. This world, or the next” is of what Nari would think of the situation, second is that Kumori had destroyed the other golems beside the phalanx too and lastly is that the Golems in front of Nari had a level 11 golem sentinel too, Nari thought it was time to upgrade his level from his level 1 state to a level 12 via the teaching system yet again, now given the abilities of Covering and Counter Break too “man, why did I thought it was a good idea to stay a level 1 for a while?” is of what Nari’s thoughts where drawn to, “well no matter, I think it’s time to beat some rock eh?” Nari thought out loud, not caring for the surroundings abit, but keeping mind that Kumori asked to help, “nah, I think I got it covered” with a grin pointed at the assassin, Nari charged towards the golems.
With a grin as always, Nari rushed in to sort the mess of the stone heap, seeing as the golem sentries are all level 6, Nari makes quick pickings of them all, making sure to kite the golem sentinel out of the firing range of quick stabs to the legs and head with the glaive of the Wolf hair, all the sentries are soon dead and hollow, though they are not dissipating like the others that the assassin make quick work of too, the last sentry was in site, Nari readied his glaive, making note of the sentinels location, Nari runs towards the sentry, pouncing of the ground with tremendous strength, the Wolf hair with a bushy tail leaps on top of the golems head, trying to get the Wolf off by smashing his own head against his fists, thus lowing his own HP in regards to that stupid plan the golem thought about, “haha, stupid golem!” with a quick tease and a laugh from the Wolf, Nari jumps behind the now ever dizzy golem, cutting a clean vertical line down the golems entire body, leaving a tiny whine then a “tower fall”, “timber!” go’s Nari’s stupid humour as the now empty golem crashes down upon the ground leaving a bunch of limbs scattered upon the floor, “now, I’ll deal with the sentinel” Nari proclaims towards the now spectating assassin.
The last golem was furious with what Nari had done and began to charge towards the Wolf Hair, Nari knowing he can just simply dodge it, but no, must do it the weird way, with a stance that is similar of how you’ll hold a naginata, the golem runs into Nari’s vicinity of attack, with a sudden change, the glaive going over Nari’s head, bending down as he points the blade upward, now the sentinel’s arms weaken by the slight cuts Nari did when he did with his glaive as he moved his weapon over his head, whilst bending down and blade pointed upward, Nari jaggers forward with the glaive ready to spring upward, over Nari’s head yet again, the golem taking note to the sudden change and tries to react, “you’re not going to make it!” with a sudden roar, startling the golem by the choice of words that Nari chose, Nari, now under the golem and gradually moving ever-more forward, now semi-behind the golem, Nari springs his glaive around, hitting the golems back, looking like an acrobat, Nari sending the golem crashing down by tripping it up by his leg that sharply kicked the leg of the golem, whilst down but not yet out, Nari makes use of the situation and strikes the back of the sentinel, making sure to defeat the sentinel in a quick succession after the weird attack that he did earlier.
Now all the golems have been defeated, the Wolf hair thanks Kumori for leaving the golems to him, Nari still taking note that the golems still have not dissipated yet into a bunch of gold and EXP, he notices something else and asks the assassin, “hey, do you know anything about those strange symbols that the phalanx had, look, it’s on its back” Nari pulling the heavy golem facing back side down, just then, Nari feels a strange a pulse, a serge or something stream-like almost feeling like a ghost had passed through him, the golem phalanx whose supposed to be dead, raises his arm, crashing it towards Nari, whilst barely dodging the pound to the ground, Nari moves back to Kumori’s side, both seeing all the golems they have killed get back up with the earth giving them the repairs they need to look like freshly new spawned monsters, “what the…” Nari speaks with a slur tone, taking account the pulse that went through Nari, he looks behind him, just seeing the ancient ruins of Stonehenge standing there upon the clear blue sky backdrop, Nari thought of something stupid, but it might be the truth, “only one way to find out” Nari thought as he looks back at the now massive golem herd, walking slowly towards the duo, Nari taps Kumori who was spectacle while seeing the golems he clearly killed before rise back up like a bunch of zombies, “I think I know what just happened, but I think I also thought of a way to solve this problem too, follow me” with that Nari sheaths his glaive and charges towards the phalanx, the brute of a golem prepared a punch, Nari not going to dodge uses one of his newly got skills, his skill called “counter break”, Nari slammed his fist upon the phalanx’s fist, a sudden surprised jolt of strength nearly instantly broke Nari’s skill with sheer force, Nari slammed his foot down, and with a scream that can be heard for miles and a sudden surge of strength from his “last spurt”, Nari was able to overcome the bone-crushing punch, an achievement towards the halve levelled Nari, the phalanx, toppled over with his back against colliding against the ground with a huge crash, Nari turns his head towards the assassin, “oi! Let’s move! Follow me!” the now quarter-health Nari charges, pouncing over golem hurdle upon golem hurdle, Nari arrives at the pathway T-shaped section that Kumori turned left from, standing at the middle of the pathway, with a lot of the golems still taking pursuit, also seeing the golem phalanx charging in the middle of the pack, “ok, I think where’re far away from Stonehenge, now we can get into business!” with a quick connection of his right fist towards his left palm, creating a sharp sound of slapping skin, Nari proclaims “the problem was Stonehenge, if I’m right, the golems will not repair themselves anymore, but only way to find out, is to beat them up! Don’t worry about my health and let’s go!”
Not knowing of what will happen to the duo, Nari’s head held high upon the achievement of counter breaking a monster levelled twice his level, not cloudy eyed or anything, is ready to fight to finish off the group of golems that are charging in the narrow pathway, the Wolf hair, hoping that Kumori followed with him since the strength battle with the phalanx, looking upon behind him, hoping to see Kumori there…

| Skills: Tags: | : Word Count : 0785 OOC Notes: Quick Slot: Windsor Antiqua Throwing Knives | Ryuu watched as the Guardian’s level had changed from level 1 to level 12. He scratched his head, trying to figure out what he was trying to prove, making his level so low. He shrugged as he said he had it covered. He didn’t feel the need to say otherwise, unless the guardian was almost dead. While it didn’t take the 3 seconds that it took Ryuu to dispatch of all of his enemies, he was quite bewildered at his finesse and his ability to move about as he did. He was a tank after all, and a tank prioritizing attacking was no tank at all. He began to see what Kyuu had told him. He is a bad tank, but he wondered if this was an ordeal he wanted take a part of. Was this a task he wanted to take on? The question was beginning to loom overhead. Because of his guild’s nature, it wasn’t like him to turn away a man who was seeking help, but he was not seeking the help of becoming a better player, he was seeking help to find his cousins. This can of worms… do I allow him to join for that reason alone? There must be more to it. Anyone can look for their cousin without the help of a guild, so there must be more to it… I cannot accept him on that basis alone, he thought to himself.
The guardian finished with his set of golems and then walked towards the assassin. He pointed out that there were symbols on the golem phalanx. He looked at it, and it did not disappear into bits of light specks. Instead it came back to life. Ryuu wasn’t surprised. This wasn’t the first time he saw something come back to life. He remembered his time in Windsor. There was always a source, but it seemed that the guardian had already found some sort of source for it. “I’ll follow your lead then…” he said to him. It wasn’t characteristic for a high level assassin to follow a low level guardian, but Ryuu decided that it may be better for him to follow. Regardless of the situation, it did not matter too much to him who he followed, so long as they did not attempt to take advantage of him and as long as they did not overstep their boundaries. Was it that the Assassin was too nice? It was quite possible. Many times, he took it upon himself to take all the faults, or the inconveniences he was given. Many of his friends had told him that they get frustrated for him, because for such menial things, he does them without complaint, especially if they are to help friends out. This person, however, was not a friend, at least not yet. He had found his name somehow, and he was still curious as to how he became associated with his cousins.
After following him to safety, Ryuu looked at him, expecting him to tell him more of his ideas. Well, that was until he tried to punch the Phalanx. Ryuu nearly facepalmed, and grabbed the Guardian’s collar and pulled him back before he could attempt to do more damage to himself. If the Guardian somehow evaded his grip, Ryuu would simply tackle the Phalanx backwards, his strength enough to at least move it away from the Guardian. “Let’s try not to get you killed, shall we?” he said, throwing him a medicinal tablet. “Might I suggest you not go attacking and defending against an Elite Mob that is already twice your level? In reality, it really is level 40…” he said as he kept the Phalanx at bay. “Lead the way…” he said.
Ryuu followed after him so that they were no away from Stonehenge. It seemed that his assessment was the glowing patterns on the golems were because of Stonehenge. Ryuu turned around as soon as Narihama thought they were far away enough from Stonehenge.
“Stay back… this fight, you’ll only prove to fail… Wait until you are stronger before you try and take the Phalanx on” he said. Ryuu dashed forward. Both of his daggers swiped the legs of the Golem Phalanx, but before the Phalanx could move to attack him, Ryuu had already gone between the legs so that he was behind the golem. Ryuu kicked off the ground and went up to the head of the Phalanx. Deadly Dance was used with Accel Dance in succession to do as much damage as he could as possible. Avoiding damage was the easy part… keeping a bystander from dying was the tricky part. Good thing was, mobs tend to target the highest level character around.

Nari felt quite stupid that he ended up getting saved by another person, though, the enemy was far powerful then he imagined and it would seem that Nari thought it was ‘ok’ to try to punch the big piece of stone that can punch so hard that it could literally crush and squash him like an annoying bug. Wow, that makes the ‘Nari do something so stupid in front of a person who runs/is member of a guild count’ up to… what was it? 3 times now? Yeah, three times, embarrassing isn’t it? Nari would agree that was a disgrace to his own title if he did something so stupid like that back in London when he was a kid.
Nari waited for the massacre of the golems to finished, as he waited, Nari would look around the ground to see if “it” was there or not, with a few times cursing while looking around in different spots around the T crossroad, “what are you doing?” was fired at Nari, not like it was in a harsh tone or anything, but still alerted the guardian nevertheless. With a bump to the head by a thick branch, cursing while rubbing his head and a turn of said head, “well… I was looking for this” Nari gestures towards the symbols imbedded into the rock sticking out the ground similar to the phalanx golem’s symbols it had on its back, “it would appear that we were just out of range it would seem” Nari made the remark as he jumped back up and patted himself down which cleared away all the branches that had stuck to the small gaps in Nari’s plated trousers.
Nari instantly noticing the corpses of the golems beginning to fade into gold and XP for the duo as he looked behind himself and facing Kumori, Nari makes his way to the fading corpses and looks upon the broken and crumbling torso of the phalanx, seeing the symbols on the golem’s back fade first and then the body itself evaporates into gold plus the XP of spirals out from the all of the golems slowly, Nari looks up to see the making of the ever-growing sunset visible in the sky, Nari began to breathe out softly and felt like the land stood still for him alone.
The XP which look like a bunch of flashy stars were gliding across space in speeds not known to man made the serenity of the landscape even more enjoyable to the Wolf, “this sight always was beautiful to me” Nari said out loud having his back facing Kumori, seeing the glowing swarm surround Kumori as Nari turned his body to face him with his head being guided by the glowing little fairies, “so… I think I know why the golems ‘rebuild’ themselves” making air quotations as he said ‘rebuilt’, Nari began to explain the possible reason why, “there’s something about that Stonehenge I think, when I was observing the symbols on the golem’s back, I felt a rush of energy flowing into me then straight away leaving it…” Nari pauses and contemplates on what happened that time “possibly Stonehenge is able to give golems around it the ability to rebuild themselves? Or is it a different reason entirely?”
Nari walks towards the symbols on the ground once more, feeling a little vibration of some sort emitting from the piece of stone, “it has to do with that piece of stone there” Nari points towards it, but just as he was about to continue, Nari felt something hit him in his legs, it was either another monster he never seem before or something else entirely.
The shock of ‘something’ made the wolf lose his footing, Nari ends up being supported by Kumori who rushed towards him, laying him down on a patch of grass, Nari quickly regains his strength and forces himself up and talks to Kumori while Nari has his head facing the ground, “thanks a lot for what you did now and earlier, you really are a one-of-a-kind person I can tell you that much”, Nari looks to where Kumori is standing and finally asks “you want to know more about me or what? I’ll tell you anything I know for what you did, thanks again by the way” Nari smiles at the assassin.
With the story of how the wolf guardian and human assassin continues, the end of the prologue will end very soon it would seem like.

He wasn’t sure what he knew or what he was doing, but he just watched, asking the occasionally question of what he was doing. It wasn’t in a manner that would make him seem arrogant, but in a way that showed his curiosity. It indeed made him wonder of what he was doing, but he usually never questioned other people of their motives, only for an explanation. Ryuu looked at the symbol on the rock. This was indeed the first time he had seen anything like this. He scratched his head, trying to figure out what it was, but he thought that maybe it was one of those unnatural occurrences, but that made him look at Narihama. “I have to ask… how did you know about this?” he inquired from the guardian. He was only level 12, and yet it seemed he had vast knowledge of the area already. Ryuu had spent a lot of time around here, and this is the first time he had experienced something quite like this. He then looked at the golems behind him and notice that they had dissipated into dust. “Hmm…” he let out, unsure of what to make of the situation. He was indeed curious as to how the guardian knew about this phenomena and why this was the first time Ryuu had dealt with this himself.
A bunch of small faeries began to glow and surround their position. They were harmless, other than giving them the effect of being lit up. He began to explain something, something about Stonehenge and its effect on the golems. He felt something, energy surging through him, but that was obviously abnormal. Maybe it was the punch that made him feel the surge, but regardless, it was interesting indeed. Maybe it was a single phenomenon that could be eradicated. Ryuu then followed him as he pointed to another rock. As soon as he approached it, rumbling occurred and Nari had begun to stumble. Ryuu rushed quickly to his side to catch him before he fell to the ground. Narihama spoke and smiled, but all Ryuu did was prop him back up so he could sit on his own. He took the stone that he was looking at earlier. “This is the stone that is the cause of all this? This should be quick then…” he said. He threw it up, and with lightning fast movement, two blades crossed through the enchanted rock and the symbol stopped glowing. The man then said that he’d answer any of the inquiries he had for him. Ryuu scratched his head again, trying to figure out what he was trying to do. Ryuu really had no other questions, and while Ryuu was higher in level and felt that he knew more information than the low-level guardian, he wasn’t sure what kind of information to ask for. He knew to learn from those who were less experienced, but he was still unsure of what to ask him. He shrugged.
“Well… I have no questions… other than what is your intention of joining my guild… Because these are questions I ask everyone, I don’t expect to have to use this “answer anything” portion of our time together to get the answers. So… what is your reason, other than your cousins. I cannot accept that answer if it is simply only for them. I do not know them, and even if I did, that does not warrant joining a guild. I would like to hear your reasons for joining my guild, but if it is simply to find your cousins, then I cannot help you,” he said to him. There was no other way to tell him other than to let him know of his prerogative. If he did not like it, then it was his own choice. Someone who joined for something like that, that was no fit for his own guild. “If all you have is your interest in it, then I will have to deny your entrance to my guild, however… if you truly want to make it into my guild, I suggest you start trying to convince me why I should let you join. Note that I’ve denied many strong players from my guild… so strength means nothing to me, especially since my guild houses the two strongest players at the current moment,” he said informatively.

The questions that were given to Nari by Kumori was as expected, ‘strait to the point’ was the questions and they were simple to answer apart from the last which ended up having Kumori slicing that rock where the symbols were in near two, which was a near perfect cut if I might add, though Nari didn’t care about it since there were loads of them around Stonehenge for some reason or another and was most likely because of the sightings of the giant rock golem which was rumoured to be sighted around Stonehenge, but yet again, Nari’s sheer discouragement with exploration at times seemed to make him prone to not going out and just experiment with new ways to make Mana an easier source of fuel even more possible.
When the assassin began to speak about the ‘ask whatever portion’, Nari just nodded to what Kumori had to say until he stated things about strength, “you think I care about strength?” Nari stabbed that comment back so quickly that it was apparent that Kumori hitted a nerve, “you, think that I care about strength? Don’t make me laugh, the only thing I want is to…” Nari stuttered upon those words that he wanted to say, almost that the subconscious of the Wolf didn’t want to hear those words again, not for anytime in his life would he know that he’ll regret it if he didn’t say it now.
“I, I, I, wanted to…” Nari’s eyes widened as he tried and tried again to force those words out of his mouth as he the wolf made little gestures with his hands dictating something was wrong and while Kumori was going to ‘help’ him in some way if he knew how to but didn’t and stood in front of him as he should, Nari’s eyes widen with his pupils thinning up as he kept on murmuring the word ‘to’ a dozen times to only look at Kumori once more and look down in shame, “all I wanted was to be a member of a family, somewhere I can be in without my own family killing one another yet again...I just wanted to ‘change’…”, as the words left Nari’s voice box he suddenly noticed that his eyes were watery which made the grass underneath the Guardian become damp.
Nari’s head looked up at Kumori with a broken memory, which then Nari gazed at the assassin until the fairy’s began to swarm the duo yet again as they began to rain down from the sky which for some reason made the Wolf remember all of his mistakes in life that brought him here, now, face to face with a person that can save him, well, not save but to help him, he felt something was odd about Kumori, the reason was that he will bring Nari to ‘him’ and will make Nari learn from his mistakes. From a broken sword was going to be reformed into a weapon that can support himself and the others that will guide him towards a new dawn.

He had no intention of offending him, but when it came to joining his guild, it was a necessary fact. If strength was their sole ambition, this was not the guild for them to join. It was a requirement for Ryuu to screen those who wished for that, because he did not want to make power-hungry people part of his guild. His guild was to be a family, a group of people willing to help each other as well as others. While Ryuu did not consider himself lawful, as stupid people really needed to die if they pissed him off, he was still gentle when it counted. When Nari reacted the way he did, Ryuu kept stoic. He showed no emotion, no change in his demeanor, all he showed was a blank expression, one of serious contemplation and one that would decide whether he was a fit for this guild. The eyes told all. As a businessman, it was imperative to know whether the person he spoke to was speaking the truth or if he was giving him some self-righteous lies that would ultimately decide what he would do. He wants to change, he wants a family to care for him. Ryuu could provide it, but it was a question that Ryuu would have to ask him.
“Is this what you really want?” he asked. “Becoming a part of this guild will not be easy… you also won’t be able to go around just wearing pants… while we may be a family, a sense of decency and pride comes with being a part of Aeryn,” he said to him. “If you are ready to take the responsibility of becoming a part of Aeryn, then I will tell you now that everyone earns their place in this guild… new and old… I will ensure that you will be trained and helped along the way, but I cannot ensure that I can provide you with anything more than the family that I have here. Your real family is a different matter altogether, and while I won’t expect you to choose them over me, I just hope it will never come down to choosing between them and us,” he said to him.
Ryuu opened ups his menu and went to the guild interface. He typed in Narihama into the name area in order to send the invite to the guardian. It seemed that Oxford would have quite a bit of work to be able to get this man into tanking shape. Ryuu looked up and nodded. “I will train you to become a tank that everyone will want to have in their parties… but do not forget your roots. This is no longer about yourself anymore… Your fight, your progression, your adventuring is now with your guild. Do not forget that, Narihama. Our Guild House is in Londinium. Make your way there if you accept the responsibilities as a guild member,” the assassin finished. Ryuu turned around towards the Sarum Expeditionary camp. He waved back towards Narihama. “Hopefully I’ll see you at the Guild House,” he muttered under his breath.
