It's every shameful fall, every mistake that I've made
Finding the Tavern that his brother, Leif, was talking about, Yuu entered and sat down at a free seat. To everyone else, their names were Arawnn and Pwyll respectively. It was sometime just after lunch now, and the sun was covered by clouds outside. Having just finished playing around outside, getting the hang of the system, Yuu was satisfied and getting hungry and thirsty. But, they had yet to taste anything in this world. Looking around for a People of the Land to serve him, he found that they were either busy or not paying attention. Remembering his subclass, Yuu checked his memory for the description and then snapped his finger as if he remembered something. Raising a hand and looking directly at one of the Landers, he made eye contact and immediately drew their attention. Within seconds, the female Lander came over and took their order. For now, he just got himself a water and let his brother get whatever.
Leaning back in his seat, he felt the link of 「allure」 break as the Lander disappeared from his sight. The Courtesan Sub Class. He had no idea why he chose it, but he did prefer to keep good relations with people, so he chose it on a whim. A bit late to change now, but that was fine. On the other side, he chose blacksmith as his crafting class which is also how he picked up the plate armor as a starter. He would be making his own armor and weapons from now on to save on cost, so that would be interesting to do for real. Not only that, he needed to better himself at sword-fighting. He was no good as he was now. For comparison, it was like hitting someone with a bow, or throwing a sword at a target. There wasn't any particular need to study fighting in the real world, but he at least had knowledge from watching game avatars, reading books, and playing around himself.
「Our names may be Winters, but I sure hope it doesn't serve as a jinx. Wouldn't want snow while wearing my armor.」 Saying that, Yuu accepted the drink he had been given once the Lander came back, sipping the water. It tasted bland, just like any other water he drank. He preferred tea, but water seemed to feel better at the moment. He was a bit hungry, but he could last. Sometimes at work, he could be going at it for hours on end without a single break, so surviving without a meal was easy. The master would usually make a meal for all the workers at the end of the shift. He could already feel himself missing the real world, but quickly hid it away since his face usually betrayed his thoughts and emotions. Maybe he could fix that while he was here. That, and work on his height adjustment. Hopefully it wouldn't have any effect on him when he gets back to the real world. Yuu softened his expression.

Arawnn reached the Twin Wolf Hall (name of the establishment) long before his brother did, and he was able to get some information from the man employing his services. It dawned on him that he was simply supposed to keep the place spotless and clean, and if he did he would have access to the kitchen as well. Before he started work however, there was one thing he required. “I don’t suppose you have any spare uniforms, do you?” He smiled sheepishly and continued. “It would be strange for me to be scrubbing the floors and wiping tables while looking like I am prepared for battle.” He of course was talking about the armor he was wearing, albeit cloth, did not look like casual attire.
“Sure, you can find one in the closet at the far end of the kitchen.” The man who ran the establishment was a person of the land that went by the name of Nowell Clarence. However, he would probably be known as Master for now due to Arawnn’s tendencies to refer to who he is working for as ‘master.’ He stood around 6 feet exact, and practically towered over the werecat.
Arawnn bowed to the man he would serve for the evening, before finally walking towards the kitchen. He saw a door, exactly as described directly across from the door he entered in from the kitchen, and upon opening it he saw there was a massive walk-in closet full of suits and... were those maid outfits? Nevermind those, I want the suits. He walked around the suit closet and realized that none of them were sorted in proper size. Ugh, so much disorganization could not be normal. The arrangement of the outfits practically drove him mad, before he absent-mindedly started moving suits around so they would go from largest, to smallest. Thankfully, this helped him find a suit, as literally there was only one that would fit him. He changed into the suit and stepped out. It was black, with a white tie. On closer inspection he realized it was quite fancy, and then was struck by brief sadness. The Master would want this back before he left. Oh well, it was fine for now; in the real world he often wore suits and had become accustomed to them.
Leaving the Kitchen he noticed the bar was a complete mess, and there were patrons sitting at tables that looked like they hadn’t really been cleaned a couple of customers before. Turning around and picking up a bucket of soapy water, as well as a dry and a wet towel, he walked out towards the messiest looking tables. Seeing him walk over, everyone seemed to just stand up and get out of his way as he rapidly made each table nearly shine. After all, he was practically born for this. As each table became cleaner, and cleaner, more people of the land showed up, and the establishment was practically booming. He wiped his brow, finally having cleaned every table and even the bar, he brought out a mop and started cleaning the spots where people needed to walk first, warning them that it was relatively wet. A slight cheer could be heard from off to the side, and a slight glance showed that it was Nowell Clarence, clapping in glee as he noticed how efficient his new helper really was. It only took half an hour before he cleaned up the entire place, sighing as it was rather rough work.
As he went to place to tools away, he took some tea leaves and boiled water, mixing the two with a well crafted strainer to make a smooth blend. Thankfully, he never really liked sugar in his tea as the establishment seemed to be lacking in the sugar department. He took small plate, and used it to carry his own tea as he left the kitchen once more. Much to his surprise, he saw his brother Pwyll waiting for him. Arawnn quietly glided over, being careful not to spill his tea before sitting down on the other side of his brother. “I cleaned this place up quite a bit. Business is booming as it should be.” He smiled, knowing that his attempt at chit-chat would be slightly overlooked as his brother commented on the weather. “Aye, would be a shame if it snowed. I could only imagine what metal would feel like in the cold.” He smiled slightly as the waitress brought his brother a drink, and noticing that Arawnn had tea, bowed before heading away to serve other customers. “I don’t suppose you would prefer some tea, rather than simple water?” he asked, sipping his tea as he awaited Pwyll’s response. It was a nice blend of white and black tea, taking the smooth silkiness of the white with the bold, bitter flavor of the black. He liked it, but he had no idea how his brother would enjoy it, especially since he had never served it at home.

Like Arawynn, Arya had also reached the Twin Wolf Hall before Pwyll did. She had recently been able a job working as a waitress for the establishment and so far things were going well for the young girl. She had been too young to get a job back in the real world so working in the tavern was a new experience for one so young. Although the one part of her job she had difficulty adjusting too was the uniform she had to wear while working, a maid style uniform with a pair of wolf ears and tail to fit the theme for “Twin Wolf Hall”. Tugging a bit at one of the ears on her head Arya made a pout that others would find to be a “cute look” for the girl, one that she didn’t care for but it was a job that helped her pay for the cheap soggy bread food and lodgings, being a waitress exposed to so many different types of adventurers also provided great opportunities to use her Apprentice class and learn what job suited her skills the best before deciding on one to go towards. “Welcome back Aryachan. Today is another busy day for the tavern so go ahead and get started cleaning your section and helping those customers." The manager spoke to her as she came out of the staff locker rooms to start her shift. Crossing her hands in front of her Arya made a formal bow before going out through the doors that led to the main dining area. Taking a small dishrag out of the back of her uniform Arya began wiping down one of the tables from a customer who had already left before she came in. Being only an Apprentice meant that she had to work extra hard at her chores to get them done, but this side of her really enjoyed seeing people and making them happy. She had hoped though that she wouldn’t get any episodes while at work, she had been lucky with it so far. Maybe if it happened she’d be able to get the rest of the day off, but would those people even let her do that? The one was always moody, depressed and would likely sit in a corner all day, the other one would be liable to get pissy at her manager over something or try to kill him or something. With a small, barely noticeable shiver Arya tried to shrug those thoughts, the violent person scared her the most since they were the most unpredictable and she had the least control of them. Standing up straight Arya walked back to the kitchen to drop off the dish rag and grab a small piece of parchment. They weren’t very large or well-made being from Landers, but it got the job done for minor note taking. Noticing one of their waiters drinking tea with a customer Arya made her way over as well thinking maybe the man was on break and meeting a friend or something. “umm welcome to the Twin Wolf Hall. Would you care for anything this evening?" She asked politely before noticing someone had already served them drinks. Pausing a moment to wait for their response Arya would look around the rest of the tavern to see if anyone else needed serving, if no one caught her attention she would turn around and stand in the back where she could easily access the kitchen to bring out food and greet or see off customers as they come and go through the tavern. It's every shameful fall, every mistake that I've made
Downing the rest of his water, Pwyll listened to what his brother had to say. Looking at the drink Arawnn had, he thought for a moment. When he worked at the cafe back in real life, he had tasted and prepared a large variety of teas and coffees made the proper way, as well as comparing them to their instant counterparts. It wasn't exactly in the job description, but it was suggested to do so by the Master. It helped a lot since Yuu found it easier to recommend drinks to customers, especially when they didn't ask for something specific. Learning to describe it objectively. As if on cue, a player waitress showed up at the table. Putting his fingers to his chin in an expression of thought, he paused for a few moments before replying to the waitress, taking a look at the player's name as displayed on the HUD. 「Can I get a milk tea and a sandwich?」 Looking to his brother to indicate for him to order food if he wanted, he waited and then turned back to the waitress. 「Feel free to drag this lazy brother of mine back to work.」 Saying that sarcastically, he knew full well that his brother wasn't the least bit lazy, compared to himself.
「Keep up the hard work, Miss Arya.」 Saying this, Pwyll wished the waitress well with her work. He knew how hard it could be as a waiter/waitress in an establishment such as the Twin Wolf Hall. Thinking for a moment, he only just remembered what he himself had said. He was going to disassociate himself from his brother except in private. He still had to discuss at length with his brother about his selfish reasons for being a solo player. He was too use to the familiar feeling of talking over drinks with his brother that he relaxed and forgot what he was aiming to do. This slightly depressed yet carefree, familial emotion was plastered over Yuu's face. No matter how much he tried, he never could hide what he was thinking or feeling. At the most, he could cut his emotions and expressions for a short time, but had trouble keeping up the facade. Usually he would do this at work.
「Arawnn, no. Leif. We needed to talk about my decision to be a solo player, right? I can't exactly put it into words at the moment, so I'll leave the questioning to you and answer as best I can.」 With that said, he prepared himself mentally for what his brother was going to say. Ever since they met at the orphanage, they have always been together and looked out for each other. Yuu was, at first, always being looked after by Leif and hiding behind him, a shy little kid. They got even standing as they entered their teens but were still pretty inseparable. Then when they left school, one went to university, and one started working straight away. He doesn't regret how things have turned out, and he wouldn't change anything thus far. But he was still afraid of being scolded by his brother. He had overtaken him as they both grew up, but Yuu still couldn't shake that sense of being the little brother. Sure, he was working and earning his way in life, supporting his brother who was educating himself further, but that meant nothing in terms of their personal relationship.
Time was passing by in the Twin Wolf Hall. Customers coming and going, food being taken to tables and dishes being cleared to be taken to the kitchen. There were few players around, mostly because the majority was probably still in shock over what happened. Remembering something, Yuu closed his eyes to make it look like he was waiting for Leif to talk, but he was looking inside his own head. Could he still enhance his memory like he use to be able to in real life? It was how he learned the daily specials and the tastes and names of coffees and teas. Thinking back to the start of the day, he hadn't been focused on it but he should at least be able to recall a few specifics of what has happened today. In particular, he remembered falling over about six times due to his height issue, tripping without falling twice on the way back in, the sensation of holding and swinging his weapons and the characteristics of the slimes he fought. Thinking harder, he recalled the violin his brother played, remembering the melody in depth.
