I will hunt you down... Ghost weren't real, where they? Well according to the details of this insane quest, it seemed such things where indeed very real in this world. He could not believe it, that this was actually happening why did he have to be so lazy, and choose classes at random? Because of this he found himself stuck with these sort of jobs, I mean really he had been asked to perform an exorcism to cleanse the home. He was unaware that this one mission he had taken, would unfortunately lead to a series of other missions that would trap not only him but another individual into the weirdest misadventure that he had ever come across. Stepping into the unknown the red topped male would work his way through the forest, pushing through thick brush as he pushed passed bushes, and branches that where filled with green leafs. Bunji would eventually step out from the dark forest, coming to a stop at a large clearing that was decorated with a few trees here, and there that lined the sides of a long path which led to what looked like a gate just a few feet ahead of him.
The darkness had long since settled, the crescent moon hanging up high in the skies, and the Samurai was alert to his surroundings his long black cloak flowing from his shoulders to his ankles, while his leather armor hugged his figure nicely. He would walk forward making his way to the gate he saw in the distance, fuzzy fox ears twitched, and a tail wagged behind him; he would keep approaching the gate until he stopped in front of it. The think was towering over him, forcing him to look up to see the spiked tops of the bars that made up the fence, there seemed to be nothing stopping him from opening it no lock or anything of the sort. He was tempted to open it, but unfortunately the details of this mission were very specific in saying that he had to wait at the gates where he would meet another adventurer, he was assuming an NPC, one of the Landers.
With nothing else to do, Bunji remained still his katana holstered at the hip, and his hands at either side as he waited for the adventurer to arrive, glancing up at the skies he could see some clouds looming in the distance. Was a storm sweeping in? "How fitting..."

Goddangit, what monster had ridden her to accept this? She already knew it would be little fun to her, but the promise of learning from the golden cordon exorcistsseemed like something she could give up in exchange for that. She had approached them after the battle on the graveyard and they had told her she could learn from them in exchange for for clearing out one little place chock full of ghosts and other such things. Just the thought of it made her shiver and her three tails bushed up anxiously as she broke through the trees and bushes surrounding the 'little' place she and someone else had to clean, apparently the other side of the job had been given with a normal quest sign up, but Nisha did not know if she should pity that someone or shoudl jump innto whoevers arms for accompanying her into her most mortal fears and nemesis main place of residence. Looking up, she saw the stars and a crescent moon shine and was quite thankful for at least that source of light, sure due to her beast like features maneuveing through the woods was a bit easier, but since she was a human actually, her mind could not validate and process all these different informations correctly and so instead of failing to even move, she stumbled along the path, getting some bruises here and there from running into stuff that was too short to feel it with her hands or see it in the dim moonlight shining through the leaves of the trees. Nisha sighed and prepared to scream a little to relax her lungs a little which had trouble taking in all the air she sucked in every time any little noise was heard and made her heart skip a beat. She muffled it with her hands until it was just a deep breath and Nisha felt herself calming dow a little, there were no ghosts around and even if it was frustrating breaking through a thick forest without much light or help, if she was snapping already, she would die the second she entered whatever mansion or house they would have to exorcise. If it was just weird noises and moving stuff she had no problem, hell she could laugh at zombies and did not mind, well, anything but ghosts. Ghosts were her nemesis and one thing she could definitely not stand. Which made her wonder once more why she had accepted it, there was bound to be other places were she could learn more about exorcism, but the golden cordon had looked so cool as they rode in on horses onto the graveyard and took out dozens of zombies at once. And Nisha wanted a piece of that if possible, even if she had to break with what she had told herself once more. Ah, well, nothing but to grin through it, or at least survive it. A minute later, she finally saw the clearing as well beyond the last bushes and pushed herself out there, feeling not ready for this to go on, but she had little choice by now in that matter. Someone else was already waiting in the dark beyond at a huge gate. Little, huh? If there was gate like this, the place they would venture into would most likely be huge and beyond comparison with what Nisha thought was small. Resigning ehrself to it, she walked up to the other person and waved once before saying: "Nice to meet you, my name is Nisha, so they roped you into this too?" Her eyes in the meantime were wandering all over the gate wondering what would await them once they entered, her ears were flicking around as if trying to catch a radio wave and her three tails were nervously wagging. At least one thing they had in common was that they both had tails, one thing to start a conversation about at least, well, that was if she would not scream all the time and running around from one ghost to teh next just to end up fainting at some point. Ah, this promised to be one of those nights that she hated, at least she would have company. Words: 704 Music: spookyMood: Nervous, frightened and a little terrified Tags: bunji

I will hunt you down... The gate loomed over him, it was an impressive structure which protected an even more impressive mansion just beyond the reach of the red haired samurai. Those piercing red orbs that where his eyes would stare beyond the gaps of the gate, focused on the solid structure that rested just a few feet from where he stood; right there he could see it the mansion held together by brick walls, old windows a few of them shattered, and what he would assume was going to be a large heavy door. However, as amazing, and well creepy as this sight was the home was not what captivated Bunji, it was the specter he had spotted. Just off to the far right hand side of the home, standing between two old lifeless trees stood an individual Bunji could tell he was not of this world. Whether it was some sixth sense granted to exorcist or just a gut instinct, he could see that whatever he was staring at was anything but normal the way the body flickered in, and out of view like a mirage. For a moment his eyes narrowed feeling a low growl rise up from his throat, his fox ears perking up, and his tail getting stiff as it lingered just behind him. He would eye the figure until he was suddenly pulled from the specter when he heard a strangers voice ring into his ears, Bunji turned from the phantom to eye a girl who had approached the gate same as him.
He would listen to her words, noticing her features right away the black hair, the ears, the tails...tails? Huh he wondered why he only had one, even going as far as glancing at his own tail which now swayed in a more relaxed manner. Bunji tilted his head back sniffing the air, but actually trying to get the girls scent memorized in his memory, it was a fox tail thing he figured. "...roped? More like curiosity getting the best of me" he commented in a rather casual tone giving the girl a nod with a soft smile, "My name is Bunji" he said in introduction to respond to her own. Glancing over at the home again he aimed to spot the stranger, but unfortunately he was gone that phantom had faded from existence as mysteriously as it had appeared, "I take it like me you are an exorcist like me?" he asked as he reached for the gate pushing it open rather easily, the rusted hinges creaked to life with the motion. When it was fully open he stepped in noticing the strong winds picking up, it was a cold strong gust he would allow his black cloak to dance wildly in the winds blowing direction. Turning towards the far off clouds in the distance he would raise a brow before turning away continuing to walk towards the mansion.
Once Bunji reached the door he would stop that feeling in his stomach, that sensation of a malevolent presence; he glanced at the girl next to him, "Have you noticed?" he asked her his red eyes focused upon her soft feminine features. He always noticed that fox tail females had a tendency to have softer features, more delicate as opposed to the males like him which would tend to come with more bold features, a lot more stronger he figured it was the developers swing at making their beast like sides more visible. Whatever the case he would break the silence once more, "....the presence in this home, there are multiple ones, and they are evil. We need to be careful here" he warned as he reached for the door knob turning it, he stepped forward pushing it open the loud creak echoed to life screeching down the many corridors, and up the spinning stairs. Bunji stepped in first giving Nisha space to enter, with his katana at his hip he eyed the area around them, in silence he would shut his eyes taking in the atmosphere.
"They aren't happy" he commented opening his eyes, fox ears perked up, and tail stiff again as he heard the many whispers in his ears, and saw the shapeless shadows dart from his view...

Usually Nisha was one of those people who liked to give handshakes, nod to people, maybe embrace them if she knew them better and knew this kind of affection was wanted and warranted, but right now she felt that if she touched anything, her shivering would be transported to whatever she touched and the thought that trying to touch something and it suddenly turning transparent or her grabbing air was quite terrifying to her as well. Just the thought that who stood in front of her was a ghost was quite... unnerving to be honest, but she was more than happy to not try out her panic induced thoughts and challenge her luck. Yes, for Nisha it was already luck that someone was with her at this spooky mansion. Though Nisha had to say that her own house at night looked just like this one. One of the reasons Nisha feared ghosts was the house she lived in, in her real life so far away, an ancient mansion with many a story to it, winds wailing through the corridors deep in the night, old trees stripped off their leafs and just looking ghastly in the night nearly touching the windows and looking like hands in lightning storms or when a car was driving by. Well, there were many other reasons she had such a panic when it came to ghosts, but this one had a relation to what she saw. Maybe the game was testing her like that, a gods finger pointing at the house to teach Nisha that there was nothing to fear, but as he spoke up, Nisha felt only fear and visibly shivered for a second there, glad to hear that the fox tail in front of her had a name. Bunji. She had heard that one before, from whom was it? Hanelli? Or was it just her imagination? Whatever it was, even imagining that she knew that name beforehand gave her a reason to relax her tails slowly getting back to just being stiffly pressed against her back and side. Also, that he came here not because he was forced to or was roped in meant, he did not only knew what they would deal with, but also being an exorcist meant that he was indeed prepared to do this. Lucky. Collecting her wits, she opened her mouth to answer: "Y-Y-Yes, indeed I am an ex-exorcist, nice to-to meet you." Nisha said with a shaky smile and panic in her voice, trembling and having to attempt words several times, she was really not prepared for this and her urge to flee rose every minute she denied to look at what could scare her. Whatever schemes were around or walking being or laughing she did not see them, no, she did not, not even the white silvery being up there in the windo... She shook her head as she had just fainted for a split second, catching her before she fell to her knees. It had been good that bunji had already turned away from her and had most likely not seen her getting weak in the knees, since he opened the gate and walked over to the house. A single tear appeared in Nisha´s eyes and she wiped it away quickly, cold sweat, nothing more, she told herself and with wobbly feet followed after and closer to what she thought was her sure demise and no fun at all, never ever, actually, was it just her or did the doorknob just look at her... No, no, no. Calm yourself girl, you can get through this, she said over and over in her head and was surprised as he said something about a presence. If she felt it? Frig yes, she did, or at least her nerves did, she just wanted to make a snide remark as she remembered that he was the only thing between herself and 'them', meaning ghosts, but she denied her thoughts to even think that abhorrent name anymore. Who knew if she would faint from that alone. Nisha in the mean time did not answer or said anything, she did not even see that he was holding open the door, she was cowering with her head on her knees and her arms in front of the door and tried to calm herself, but suddenly she had felt as if someone touched her back and with abandon, she jumped through the door to the inside, coming to her feet, looking out of the door, did not see anything and fell to her knees to weak to stand. Her voice was panic calm as it answered monotonely: "Yes, they seem to be angry... please come in? I think I need help standing back up." Her eyes were fixed on Bunji since she did not want to look at anything else right now and he in his redness seemed to be a good fix point that was not scary. She gulped and extended her hand in search for help, hoping to everything she knew that not something transparent would take her hand instead, she did not even care anymore to not find out if he was an apparition as well. I will hunt you down... He waited for the girl to enter, his attention captivated by the surrounding area he was trying to get a sense of their surroundings his mind was already formulating a plan; he would aim to split them up he would investigate below searching for a basement while Nisha investigat--before the thought could even finish Bunji was broken into reality by the sound of a loud thud, turning towards the source he came to find Nisha on her knees. Bunji blinked a few times in confusion, turning towards the door which he managed to catch as it closed slowly on its own, the man narrowed his eyes his red orbs eying the door quietly before he heard the girls voice ring into his ears. He wasted no time, obeying her request he reached down grabbing her hand with a firm grasp, the samurai would lean back just a bit then pull the girl up to stand with him. So much for his idea about splitting up, he would have to stick with her besides two pairs of eyes were much better than just one, Bunji however would need to do something about the girls weak legs.
"Use me as your pillar of support" he would say to her, wrapping his arm around hers Bunji effectively pulled the fox girl to lean on him that way if her legs where weak she had something to hold her up. "...We will explore the mansion together, from the details of the mission this place needs to be cleansed. It needs to be wi--" before he could finish however out of nowhere an echoing scream screeched down the nearest corridor. Admittedly even Bunji tensed when he heard the ear piercing cry, his eyes instantly darting towards the corridor expecting to see something but he saw nothing just an empty corridor. Bunji luckily would be holding Nisha up if she felt freaked out by the sudden scream, he would turn his eyes towards the girl giving her a reassuring nod before saying, "Stay strong...we have to go down that corridor. If we find the source of these spirits we need to find a way to exorcise their trapped souls" he explained to the girl a she started walking evidently if she was still wrapped around his arm, he would be pulling her along with him..
"Stay alert, spot anything point it out" he whispered to the girl as he walked along his attention on their surroundings, he needed to make sure they were not going to get blind sided by these spirits. The young man kept moving his eyes focused on the surrounding doors that lined the corridor, "Anything?" he asked Nisha wondering if she caught anything he might miss.

Pillar of support, huh? Nisha took his hand and leaned on him a little. Whatever had touched her before was gone and Nisha was quite sure it had been a 'that', otherwise she would not have such goosebumps all over and shivering like this. It was definitely the doing of 'them' she felt in the house. There was no way around it and Nisha had the weird feeling that now that she was inside of the house, she would not get out the same way again and really, what would they be able to do anyway? It was not like they had many weapons at their disposal against the 'things'. Nisha and Bunji had their exorcist skill and weapons, but Nisha did not even know if physical weapons would show any signs of working on these 'things', it was good that she had her grimoire... wait, wait, wait. No, she would not get under the two meter that was the range of her grimoire close to a 'them', no way, not in a million years if she had any other option. She started breathing again, her head had turned a slightly paler color already than it already was anyway. It was not like she could breathe easily now, but now that she felt a little bit safer, she could breath at least a little. Also, she seemed to be able to speak again, even though it would most likely work as unreliably as before. Also, now that she had a very fast quick look around, no ghosts or silvery beings anywhere close, the hall in which they were was nice and normal and gave her a feeling of home that cracked her shivering lips into a smile that could be nearly called that, but it was more that one corner of her mouth slightly twitched less than the other and moved a few millimeter up before going back to panic mode again. The scream happened and Nisha first thought she would get a heart infarct, not from the scream, she did not even really register that one and jump scares like these did not interest her at all. The thing that scared her was as she felt Bunji tense up, Nisha only tensed up like this if a ghost was around... Oh god, she had thought their name again, she let go of Bunji´s arm and stood frozen for a second, straight as a plank as her head slowly moved with her eyes darting taking in what was around them and assigning it a panic level. Far less than she had imagined, but somewhere between not being able to think straight and being able to form incoherent sentences was where it ended up at. Again with that monotonous and quite obviously panic filled voice, she answered his 'anything?' question with: "No, there is nothing here. Nothing is here. Nothing is here, right?" The monotonous voice got a bit more lively as she went on adn saw that she was right, so far there was nothing to see aside from the few floating flower pots just floating out of a also suddenly opening door. The flowerpots did not do anything but dance around a bit, just the usual haunted mansion fare, also a little bit of Nisha Trivia for beginner: Since Nisha is scared of the shape and general being of ghosts and not of their effects, things like polterghosts which did not have any shape aside from the things they possessed were the only things ghost she did not fear. She even walked up to one of the flower pots with a robotic, but determined step and picked it out of the air, ducked under another flying at her face and smashed the flower pot into the last floating one. Ending that for now. "Phew, well, good thing polterghosts can only take possession of things not broken, so as long as they don´t find something else soon we should be safe from these for a while. What?" Nisha would ask the most likely weirded out bunji or if he was just doing something else would ask it anyway, since a well placed 'what?' was always good when things were floating around, silvery stuff going through walls and a house just being the usual creepysauce. In those situations these kinds of questions can be life savers. Words: 725 Mood: No ghosts itself? Good Tags: bunji

I will hunt you down... The girl would release his arm, Bunji believed she was able to walk on her own so when she took a room he would take the one across from it, surprisingly some of these rooms lacked doors at all. So the red haired male would step into the empty room his red eyes scanning across the room, taking in the details of his surroundings. All he could see was an old bed, he suspect queen sized mattress it was adorned with a very old fashioned metal frame next to the bed was an old wooden night stand but it was what was atop the night stand that caught Bunji's eyes. There was a snow globe there, he would step towards it the very first step he had taken since peeking into this empty room the floor would creek to life under his weight as he moved forward, every step announced by the old wooden floor. There was a part of him yelling at him, telling him to get out of this possible hell hole it was his common sense, but his curiosity was far greater, and far stronger. It was the driving force, the fuel that would feed the fire of curiosity that pushed Bunji to check in the creepy closet, or peek down the bed when he hears a growl. All of it was connected to his curiosity and the strings it used to tug him, and push him in whatever direction it was called to.
"Now let's see..." he whispered finally there in front of the snow globe his hand hovering over it, a small girl in a dress spun inside the snow globe she stood on a miniature stage, he could only wonder what it was about this snow globe that had called his attention. Yet, just as he was about to put his hand on it, and satisfy his curiosity he would hear a loud crash sounding as if something made of glass would have broken. His attention broke away from the sow globe saving him from the trance the object had trapped him in, he would exit the room walking with a much quicker stride which was completely opposed to the careful one that he was adopting earlier. Bunji would peek his head into the room he saw Nisha enter, there he saw the ground littered with scattered glass shards, eying them for a moment he looked up at Nisha.
"Soo...this is a poltergeist?" he asked her wanting to reassure himself that he had heard her words correctly, stepping into the room now he would cross his arms over his chest "Hm" was all he could say as he looked around. "Well then before we move on, let me show you something" he said to Nisha gesturing for her to follow as he walked out to the room, then made the short trip to the other room that he had been in. "There's something here I want to show you..." he stopped at the door stepping aside, pointing at the snow globe he would lower his hand soon after. "Notice it?" he asked her, "...everything in this room is old, worn...but that snow globe is almost brand new, if I were to guess theres something attached t that snow globe" he explained turning his eyes from the snow globe to Nisha. It was then that the globe started to shake wildly, then begin to slowly crack Bunji would take a step back eying the object.
"Here it comes..." he whispered as he watched the glass break completely flying off the globe then a long black entitiy emerging from it a long cloud of smoke that coiled around itself like a snake. Bunji could see the glowing pair of red eyes that glared at the duo, "Ready?" he asked Nisha reaching for the hilt of his katana then swiftly drawing the weapon despite not knowing how good the sword would do he felt a lot safer with it in his hand.

Somewhere in Nisha´s mind, she had really hope that this would not be so bad. So far there had be only one of 'them' and Nisha kind of believed that Bunji would be able to deal with at least one of them, and that was actually a big compliment from Nisha if she thought so, since she had never thought so before, always battling her nightmares alone, since she knew that neither her parents, her brother nor anyone else was able to drive them away. Nisha herself was able to the least, just the mention of them or the pure show of them in a picture book made her genuinely afraid. But they were in a game now, Nisha remembered and that meant they had to follow a set of rules that the game was bound to as well. They would have a set amount of live or a surefire way to destroy them, no way the designers of this game would make them undefeatable, that would be just torture and screw the balancing of a game... But then again, the apocalypse had happened and who knew anymore what was what with all the changes the game had underwent since then. After all, even the landers had changed, the players had changed, Nisha had heard of some rules that had went right out the window and had not come back no matter how much some people had looked to find them. It was as if the game was slowly walking away from a bad breakup with reality and left more and more stuff of the reality behind as if going through the normal break up procedures. Nisha would not be all too shocked if she found out that people worked on breaking even more rules just like some people would definitely work on getting back to the real world. But then again, she had been reminded that games had ways of rebalancing if one aspect was too strong, but was that really true? There were no mods anymore to take care of rules, no admin who had his eye on all things, or was there? Nisha had a pretty good knowledge of many a game and movie in which people had been thrown into a situation like this, ranging from dot hack to tron to many many more with those being the more famous ones. And by far not all of them had good endings. But as she looked down once more at the failed attempt of the poltergeist trying to scare her, she wondered if her obscure thinking was all that true, sure in no movie or any other media she knew of poltergeists could control anything broken... Nisha sighed and noticed her going off on her own in her head had calmed her down quite a bit more, she could even think normally again and wondered where Bunji had gone off to in the few seconds, after all Nisha had just stood here and watched the vases fly out of a room´s open door. But if he had gone to check out a room, all the better, Nisha would not have to go and look herself then, parting with him would also mean there was potential one versus one time with a ghost for her, so she should take notice of that more. Following him in the room, she saw what he was talking about, even though she knew of such rooms even in her own house, some parts of the old mansion were in disrepair and were not used anymore, so she was used to old rooms since she had sometimes crawled into these parts of the house to be alone or to build secret castles of her own. A real smile played on her face until she saw the snow globe cracking. Her hand automatically jumped to her katana at her right side, ready to pull it with her left hand, but she shrugged off the thought and used her right to take the grimoire from her left, hanging on a hook fasted to her belt and opened it with a circular motion while preparing a magical bolt. She really did not like this setup, but there was not really much to do there was there? Her mind was racing and raging, there was little cover in the room and the potential of being trapped in the room was high, heck they were in danger the moment they stopped walking actually, but entering a room was quite suicidial with all the ways ghosts had to kill off their living counterparts and make them join their ranks, from cracking ceilings to spirit fire to hell pits opening below their soles, but none of these happened apparently. The only thing he got as an answer to his question if she was ready was her high pitched scream as she fired everything she had at the black thing crawling from the broken snowglobe. The holy banishment from her hand that would turn into a laser that would cut through half the room, since Nisha was turning away from the ghost, her magical bolt which flew directly at the enemy and her 'if I can´t see it, it can´t see me' attack which consisted of her closing her eyes and turning away from the whatever it was and ducking with her hands on her ears to not hear it as well. I will hunt you down... It all happened so fast, one minute he was staring down the black fog with red eyes the next he was ducking when he saw a bright beam fire off next to his face glancing up from behind his forearm he watched only to be surprised as the beam of light missed its mark entirely. The fog would slither in the air, and dash off to the side the beam missing its mark completely traveling across the room the fog would arc in from the far right charging straight for the duo. Bunji would tighten the grip on his katana as he watched the fog come in closer, no time to waste he reacted! Moving in towards it with a wide step he turned his hips, and swung his sword horizontally at the fog he was not even sure if the physical blade would do any good against this thing but he was about to find out. When he made contact the fog split as its long serpent like body traveled through the blade no damage was done! Bunji smirked, he always tried to think one step ahead; so now he already was preparing to execute his back up plan. Already focusing the energy at the palm of his hand he would take a quick step which allowed him to turn into a swift spin facing his full body towards the fog.
"STAY DOWN NISHA!" he called out to the fellow fox tail unaware that she was covering her ears, he was after all preoccupied dealing with this hellish demon, raising his free hand Bunji would have gathered the necessary energy, a white glow coating his palm. Smirking he fired off the energy into a concentrated beam towards the fog demon this time he was taking advantage of the fact that it was reconstructing itself after having split its body in two. Thanks to his quick thinking Bunji hit its mark, the fog swirled, and one could argue that even a piercing scream rang into the room as the creature was coated in the bright light, soon the fog being erased from view by the bright light of the beam. Lowering his hand the red eyed male would stare at the spot where the fog once hovered it was now gone, but where they safe?
The room seemed more settled, the presence of evil gone...but Bunji was not convinced, far from it in fact. He would turn his attention towards Nisha, if she was still cover her ears he would push his sword into the scabbard it belonged to before kneeling down in front of her. His black cloak gathering around his feet, he would place a hand on the girls shoulder squeezing it gently to try to get her to look up maybe, "Come now, we have a lot more to do. If theres one of those things, then there are plenty more here..." he said to the girl taking his hand from her shoulder before standing fully upright. Bunji would hold a hand for her to take if she wanted help up, "We Fox Tail gotta stick together anyways, so what do you say we go kick some more demon ass?" he asked her with a chuckle hoping to make light of the situation.

Nisha was just too fidgety to even care anymore if it was a ghost or a demon hellspawn, it had been transparent, it had kind of looked like a ghost to her at least and it had made her feel kind of afraid at least. Enough to trigger her fear for the other things and for her to cower like that. She sighed inwardly and wondered why she had to go through this for the hundreds of millionth of time after entering this room alone. Why were they testing her like this? Could they not throw, let´s see, a sneaky badass vampire at her, or maybe a pharaoh from a faraway land that had become a mummy and was terrorizing the lands now, or a necromancer like the one old women she had already taken care of before. All of the above would have been much better than whatever this was. It reminded her of vampire the masquerade bloodlines in that it was about the only level were she was unable to do anything but run around and look at stuff, run away and evade what was thrown at her, add magical purple fire and this was a clear case of copyright infringement. A scream or something filled her ears, or maybe her head and Nisha hoped it was not the telepathic last scream of bunji and just some kinda death wail from the whatever had just been defeated. A second later, she tried with opening her eyes and saw nothing much, well, that was good, opening her other eye as well a little she saw feet, her own and that of bunji. So he was fine, if the thing had not possessed him or gone and made him a zombie, but either thing was better since she could at least fight zombies and such easily and without holding back, a hand tapped her on her shoulder and Nisha released her ears and looked up to see bunji´s face, wiping away a single tear in her face quickly, she looked back and saw that nothing was left of it and then looked back to bunji noticing the burnt and scarred scar across the room her laser had left. Hopefully she had not hit bunji, even though she could barely imagine that she had hit the shadow either. Breathing out relieved, she took his hand and with a shaky smile said: "Thanks for rescuing me again, ah, why did I have to come heeee..." Her voice leered off into the background as she released a growl as she spotted prey on which she could release her frustration. Unnoticed a huge grotesque hand had grabbed the frame of the door and was pulled the much smaller body in, seven red eyes staring directly at bunji and Nisha as the hand grabbed the frame too tightly and took a piece of the frame with it. "Look out." Nisha used the hand which was not in Bunji´s to shoot a laser at the beast, hitting it squarely over three eyes that were forming a pyramid, each row two eyes and one big one in the middle where normally the forehead was, there was no place for a mouth so it did not even have to muffle it´s scream of pain, but it definitely shrugged back a little. Thinking that finally she could show her mettle as well, she would attempt to turn Bunji around to face the enemy by propelling herself toward the monster and pulling his hand with hers for just a second, then grab her sword, if it would not work, she would just run at the enemy, but no matter what, she would slide below the monster on the worn out carpet and jump up behind it while slashing across it´s back. Hopefully drawing enough aggro for it to turn around and enable bunji to get a clear strike in too, or so she had thought, but before her eyes it suddenly became invisible and vanished, as if it had never been there, even the part of the frame it had ripped out was back... "You did see that, right?" Nisha asked while looking around to see if she had missed something, but looking around, she did see something weird, her laser which she had undoubtedly fired, since her cooldown was still going had not went through whatever it had been, otherwise the opposite wall should be burned and scarred, but there was nothing. I will hunt you down... She would take his hand allowing his fingers to grip tightly onto her hand before he leaned back pulling her up with him, the girl would keep her hand attached to his as they stood there when she thanked him he would only smile giving her a silent nod of the head. It was then that Bunji caught her growl, his ears straightened at the sound blinking a few times he was a bit confused as to why she growling not entirely sure what it meant turning from her he would look in the direction of the door. There he saw it, his eyes widened for a moment as he watched the creature reach from behind the door its long green fingers gripping the door firmly, Bunji would tense preparing to reach for the hilt of his katana seeing as his wielding hand was preoccupied holding Nisha's he was going to rely on a reverse grip. He was ready to take the creature on when it decided to charge them, but instead of the creature charging them he found himself being dragged by the smaller framed fox girl. Bunji's eyes would widen caught off guard by her speed he would stumble almost falling as she pulled him, thankfully he managed to catch his step allowing him to run forward with her he was preparing to draw his sword either way. His mind racing trying to formulate how they would pull this off, then he felt it her hand released him with the new found freedom Bunji smirked as he came to a stop gripping the hilt of his katana with his right hand then pulling it from the scabbard. He waited for Nisha to attack the beast, she had blasted it earlier with a Holy Banishment so he expected the creature to be stunned with its aggro blocked out.
He was ready to lunge at the creature from behind using the blind spot to his advantage, however before he could even begin to try that Bunji would come to see the thing vanish. Stopping in his tracks,he stood there blinking a few times at first looking to all sides trying to see if he would spot the creature did it teleport? "Yeah...I did see it, but I see nothing now" he said as he walked further into the hallway his eyebrow raising as his tail wagged behind him. "...Whatever that thing wa--" he was cut off when he heard a loud echoing howl rush down the hallway. Bunji would take a stand his hand automatically beginning to gather the necessary magic for Holy Banishment, he was ready to use it when all of a sudden a rush of wind would blow into the hallway successfully knocking Bunji off his feet. The man would fall back landing hard on his back, and almost dropping his katana even he would grunt as he began to sat up but before he could the same fog from earlier would sweep into the hallway, and arc upwards before comin down with a quick slam pinning Bunji in place.
His katana pushed out of his hand, "G...Gah...Nisha!" he called out as the fog lifted him then threw him into a nearby wall nearly knocking Bunji all the way through, then flung him again into another wall both times leaving a deep indent on the walls. The red head coughed, and flinched in pain as he was tossed all around slammed randomly into the floor by the fog, this was Nisha's chance to attack!

At this point of time Nisha was not even sure what to think anymore, first the terrifying fear that had gripped her, went into her every pore, her every being, turning her own thoughts against her, eroding her from the sheer probability something could happen with the peak being her not even being able to clearly see what was in front of her anymore and just trying to get whatever she had at the thing, to no avail mind you. Creating anger which had exploded against this weird creature that had gotten close to the room and would have most likely attacked them, but then vanished, just when Nisha had thought she had finally done some damage, even though maybe she had done some kind of damage in some way, but it had vanished before she had been able to party or be glad about it. And now this, the same weird mist had come again to haunt them both, a sudden gust of wind suddenly dragged bunji off his feet and slammed him around. At this point Nisha had already snapped. It did not happen often, actually in all the time she had been in elder tales, it had only happened once so far and it had been a much less severe outburst, it was just to get two people to stop being weird and make them talk instead of running in circles in the rain. But this outburst as Nisha mechanically grabbed her sword and walked over to the weird mist and beat on it, with weirdly positive effects, meaning it wailed in pain and tried to hit Nisha, who did not move or even blink as the wind picked up again and wanted to carry her off, but instead, she jumped right into it and let herself get carried to the top of the mist, landing on top of it, feeling that it had mass and stabbing and shooting magical blue bolts at it. Even as it tried to shake her off, Nisha just began running down it´s length with her blade on it´s back and slicing as she went, Nisha did not know if it did any damage, but more fog spilled forth from the wounds as she went and even as a real ghost made a short appearance down below as if to stop her, she just fired off a holy banishment laser at it and let it move to the fog that was holding Bunji, slicing the way she had come down to see if it did any more damage, hoping somewhere down inside of her that bunji had been let go and that whatever this fog was felt her frustration with all the strikes of the sword she lashed out at it. As she jumped down from the mist and turned, she breathed out and relaxed visibly again, even if it should have not done any damage, she felt like she had tried, heck, she had even destroyed or banished or whatever ghosts went when they were defeated. She turned and wondered what she would see... Words: 513 Tags: bunji

I will hunt you down... He was at the mercy of the beast, whatever this thing was he was trapped by its menacing grip he was pretty much stuck unable to do anything to fight back or break himself free. It was of course not until he suddenly felt its grip weakening that he would notice something, Nisha was not where he last spotted her the red haired male would try to find her taking advantage of the slowed movements of the fog to try to figure out if she was maybe hiding? No...that wasn't the case, his question was answered when he least expected it a sudden beam of concentrated light would pierce through the fog causing the creature to screech in pain its thick dark body dispersing into nothing. Bunji would fall onto his rear hitting the ground with a thud, he had missed the entire thing he was unaware that Nisha had lost her cool, in sense gone into some sort of automatic state of mind. All he knew was that she saved his ass, and he was grateful standing from his sitting position he would walk over to where his katana was picking it up with his lead hand before spinning it, and pushing the blade into its respective scabbard.
Bunji would walk over towards the girl looking at her with a smile on his face, yeah he had lost some HP but he was fine his falcon armor had done its job protecting its owner. Bunji would give Nisha a thumbs up, before saying "I don't know where that came from Nisha. But I'm glad it happened, you saved me, and I owe you for that" he said to her before reaching over patting her shoulder with his same hand that had been giving her the thumbs up. "Now...we have taken out two demons so far, or spirits...whatever these things are they aren't the friendly ghost type" he said with a chuckle as he walked passed her taking his hand from her shoulder. Bunji was making his way to the end of the hallway he felt they were lingering here for way too long now, it was time for them to get out of this hallway, and explore the rest of this house.
"....we will make sure to cleanse every corner.." he paused as he turned over his shoulder to stare at the girl Bunji then remember that from the start she had been a wreck of nerves she had been frightened throughout this entire ordeal, was it a good idea for her to continue? Hoping she would not take this the wrong way he would give her a caring gaze with his red eyes. "Just going to say, if you don't feel you are up to completing this. I can escort you out, and I can go on ahead...you know not looking to put you under any stressful situation" he said to her giving her a nod of the head hoping she'd understand he was not trying to talk her down or anything of the sort.

Had he just...? Yes, indeed, he had just given her an easy way out of this misery, this hellhole, this absolute disaster of a situation on the scale of galaxy destruction of ten of ten would not buy. Nisha already opened her mouth to answer yes, yes, goddamnit yes, I want to get out of this, but something stopped her. Using her open mouth, she said: "Well, let´s just say we are close to even with me being one behind." While her mouth was moving she had some time to think about this situation, sure it was hell on earth for her, but she had not even spent a moment to think about something else that could if anything weigh more than just having to fight ghosts. This whole situation screamed interesting right into her face and she had not even wasted a single thought on it? What had her brain done with the real Nisha and where had it dumped the body of the real brain? Sure, it was nothing very out of the ordinary in a game for a house to be haunted, heck, buildings with no death story or some crazy weird accident/murder were pretty boring in a fantasy world, pity for all the extras who had to die to give such a world life. But something else was pretty interesting too, the simple fact that she could really destroy ghosts in the game. As she had just proven with the blast, it made ghosts at least .001 percent less scary and maybe even endurable, or at least not driving her insane. Slowly and with visible strain, she moved her head from side to side in a sign of denial. "No, I will stay and fight and exorcise these things with you. But thank you for the offer... just... just don´t expect wonders from me, but I will try to give my best." Nisha knew she was rambling by now and closed her mouth, or she wouold have repeated that phrase in any way and as a quote from every movie she knew. He had most likely gotten the gist, she would stay and try to fight, but not hope for her to be the main fighter. Noticing that she was still clenching her weapons so hard that her knuckles created white spots on her pale skin, she tried to relax a little and felt herself calming down a bit more. Calm enough to make an observation, she said: "So, I guess these things are what we have to take care of to cleanse the house?" Nisha asked and stepped on a little poof of smoke that was wavering in front of her as if trying to attack her with that amount, a squishy feeling later, the smoke was gone and Nisha wondered if this thing could pull itself together with enough smoke or not. Actually, what was even the deal with physical smoke lately in media? Words: 490 Tags: bunji

I will hunt you down... All he could do was smile, he would have gladly escorted her out of this home but at the same time something deep down wanted her to stay; he like her was a samurai, and a fox tail, oh and an exorcist. It was something he had rarely come across in this world, not always did he come across this sort of situation. It was somewhat nice to have something to relate to, even if it wasn't much, the red head would give her a nod after she was done talking "Don't worry about it, none of us here are going to be heroes. We are here to work together as a single unit, I'll watch your back, and you watch mine. Before you know it we will get out of here in one piece!" he said to her his words filled with an encouraging tone. One that would be challenged by a bellowing laughter that echoed into the many corridors of the home, Bunji looked up his smile fading for a moment as his red eyes narrowed his fox ears twitching with the sound of the evil laugh that echoed in the room. It was then that a voice followed this laughter...
'Escape? Alive?....No one leaves this home! No one escapes me!...I will swallow you both into the abyss, and torment your souls. You will become my play things!' the voice boomed into existence. Normally common sense was screaming at Bunji to get the hell out of here, take Nisha with him, and they could leave this to be the problem of the next pair of exorcist. However, Bunji instead chuckled purposely doing so loud enough so that it could be heard by whatever it was that was that had threatened them. "...Hear that Nisha?" he asked her his arm beckoning for her to follow, "It's a challenge! Let's go find this big bad demon, and send his ass back to whatever cesspool he crawled out of" he said to the girl before turning his head fully from her, and heading down the hallway. Bunji would move down the nearest hallway his pace picking up as he rushed passed old paintings possibly images of the former owners of the manor, more ruined rooms, however none of this caught his attention. What was luring him was the presence of an overwhelming evil just down the hallway, finally spotting the door which he believed contained such evil he stopped.
His cloak danced at the ankles, and his red bangs found themselves hanging over his piercing red eyes as he stared at the door; the male chuckled "...It's there...whatever it is...its in there" he said to the girl turning to face the fox girl. "Before we go in though...I have to ask you something" he would stand upright, perfectly calm on the outside but tense on the inside, a hint of nerves tugging at him threatening to break his composure. "....This game has gotten crazy since the apocalypse, so we don't know if this thing will actually swallow us to an abyss or not. If it does I mean...hell we might not re spawn, but in case I go first, I need to ask you to do something for me" turning towards the girl Bunji would open his user interface equipping a leather strapped necklace with an onyx stone hanging from it. Holding it in his hand for a minute he sighed, but kept a smile on his face as he handed the necklace to her, "Pretty simple, if I go down first...don't hang around to find out if we will re spawn...run, and give this to someone for me. Her name is Hanelli, shes a player in the game seek her out. She's always taking part in missions so you'll probably hear of her crazy antics..." chuckling as his mind flashed him with fond memories of the ninja girl, his red eyes softened just a bit.
"...tell her I'm sorry I wasn't able to sweep her off her feet, and make her as happy as she deserves to be. Will you do this for me?" he asked her, holding the necklace still waiting for the girl to take it.

Arara, maybe he should not have done this. But maybe it was just the right thing to do at the moment. Nisha was just about calm enough to make observations again and react to things that were said. And there he went and uttered those words. They would not be heroes... It did not really matter what he said after those words, but Nisha just for the time it took him to finish that sentence hated him. It was just no good to tell her this, what reason other than to be hero and become a true legend would she have to play a game. If she just wanted to get away from real life, she could just as well read books where she would never be the hero or roleplay on the internet, where everyone had to be buddies and be nice to each other. Yes, indeed, she had tried it out, this text roleplaying as they called it and found that it had been interesting for a short while, but had quickly grown tiresome since it was worse alone than being in a game with a party even more so than in a real video game. Solos, things where you practically roleplayed with yourself were tiresome and not her piece of cake, but since there was no real need for grouping up many people relied on it to build characters. Irksome at least and tiresome mostly. What else was there to a game but try and be what you wanted, a hero, a city planner, a... whatever it was you would like to be. That was the whole point and yet he had dismissed it like that. Angrily, Nisha looked down on the ground to not show her anger toward him for that moment and then she heard the second thing that made her aware that people were apparently underestimating her wildly, actually not even taking her seriously. This was the last nail they needed to create their own coffins Nisha would make sure they would end up in... again, seeing as they were most likely some weird spirit thingies or something the like. She did not even care about calming down anymore, she would just totally destroy this house if she had to, that angry, eager and challenged she felt, that she followed Bunji without a word or another shiver into the depths of the house. Reaching a boss looking alike door, she stopped as he begun to tell her to do some stupid stuff for him if he were to die. Nisha had stopped listening to his heroic speech somewhere in the middle since she had heard these things in movies, books, tv shows and all those things media before. Well, not pertaining to this situation, but the words were about the same. Also, he had said hanelli, so Nisha had about the idea, that han would have reacted about the same as she would have. Looking at him a little bit annoyed waiting for him to finish, he was now waving around some trinket he wanted Nisha to give to hanelli, Nisha sighed. "Listen here buster. Just imagine that Han could hear you right now, what would she think? What good would a trinket like this do her if you are not respawning, which I find highly unlikely. I mean are you guys having a weird secret textbook about these things around with you from which you can quote? Sheesh, either we both perish there and no one will tell anyone the story how we died trying or we both live and kick this things ass, having a story to tell no one will believe anyway. If I can get so angry and annoyed that I don´t even care about these ghosts..." Nisha pointed at the head of a ghost peeking through the ceiling aboth bunji and poking it´s comically long tongue down just barely not touching bunji´s head. "Then you can give your goddamn best and give her the necklace yourself. Don´t you think it would be pretty hard on me too if I had to give Han this necklace? Did you even give that a thought? Or that you would just have triggered about eighty or so death flags in god knows how many games? Keep it together bunji and no, I am not going to say that we have to stick together or that I am only two weeks before retiring or something to trigger my death flags, kay?" Nisha had said those last words a bit louder and toward the door, but as she turned back, she was now smiling again. "Come on, let´s kick some demon ass."Words: 777 Tags: bunjiWeapon: Nishan(Scar) Armor: Nishanat (Daybreak) Accessoires: Nishani (Keepsake)

I will hunt you down... The expression on her face would say it all, even before she started to lecture him for what he had said he knew that the girl was definitely not on his side when it came to this topic, and she would not be taking the necklace from his hand. The fox tail would not be able to keep himself from smiling, he was not offended by the girls words he was actually with her on it; she was right. Bunji would take the necklace back stuffing it into the safety of his cloaks pocket, he would turn from Nisha just as she was done talking "What a way to kill my chick flick moment" he said to the girl in a light tone clearly messing with her about it, when she walked ahead he was already moving even before she turned back to face him the fox tail would give her a thumbs up "Let's get a move on then slowpoke!" he said to the girl as he rushed passed her, the ghost that had been hovering above his head with its comical tongue had not gone unnoticed. However, that phantom was anything but friendly it would soon melt into the ceiling vanishing from view, and when Bunji reached the door he grabbed the knob turned it then pulled the door open when he did this a powerful gust of wind welcomed them both. The gust of wind was strong with the stench of rot, Bunji raised his arm up using his forearm to conceal his nostrils from the smell, his fox ears folded back, and his tail stiffened as his senses were assaulted by the offensive odor. Looking up he saw the phantom emerge from the darkness of the basement rushing towards Bunji, the fox tail quickly moved to the side he looked back watching as he noticed it was the same ghost that Nisha had pointed out earlier, seemed he wasn't as friendly as he was playing off to be.
Bunji however was not going to give it the chance to do much of anything, his hand was already glowing with that familiar white mist of energy that enveloped his entire hand Bunji raised his hand and took aim without much time wasted he released the compressed energy firing a concentrated beam of white energy at the phantom. The masculine features of his face lit up with the reflection of the beams light, hitting its target dead on the ghost would twist, and deform as its body erupted into a bright array of data crystals turning from it Bunji would look down at the endless abyss that was the basement. He would jump back "Stay away!" he said to Nisha as a series of dark hands emerged from the shadows aiming to reach out, and grab either of the adventurers. On instinct Buni drew his katana he would swing it aiming to slash at the arms to his surprise the incoming hands were easily hacked by the edge of his blade. He watched as they faded away, "Nisha! They aren't invulnerable! You can use your sw--" before he finished he was hit by one of the hands smacked into a nearby wall which he bounced off of.
Hitting the ground hard he coughed as he pushed himself up looking up just in time to dodge a few diving hands that were aiming to grab him, Bunji would turn slashing at them cutting the arms causing them to burst into data crystals, Bunji would begin swinging at the hands hacking away at them. "We need to get into the basement!" he called out to Nisha using his samurai skills to continue hacking away at the hands, aiming to thin out their numbers before he charged.
