Welcome to the first Monthly Contest of Elder Tale. The activity in this event will set the standard for future events of this type, so be sure to tell everyone you know.
Here in this contest, you can earn AP and prizes without having to necessarily RP. The topics of the contest change monthly, whether it be an art contest, poetry contest... even fake profile contests. Tune in every month to see if there's something you can try your hand at. Even if you aren't the best at it, there's also participant rewards. There really isn't any reason not to join in the fun! The theme for this month's contest is:
You may enter as many contests as you wish as long as you enter before the deadline, midnight August 1st! Up to 3 winners from each category will be voted by GMs and players. Please send your entries by PM to Data Holder to enter in the contest!

Summer:
Now that we're in the midst of July, celebrate the season by showing us a couple of things.
1) Art Contest: Draw characters doing something relevant to the summer season, whether it be a beachside vacation or treasure exploring in one of the new areas in the RP. Please include at least 1 RP character that isn't your own character in the picture! Any medium of art is accepted.
2) Cooking Contest: A contest for the real-life crafters on the site! Make some kind of summertime dish. You can do it in many different ways such as a step-by-step picture recipe or a well-decorated presentation of the final product. Make it look nice and tasty, because winners will also get their entry turned into a crafting recipe in the RP.
3) Short Story - Lore Contest: Thames Shoreline didn't just show up overnight. It actually took a bit of exploration to fully discovery the region. Write from the perspective of an NPC, whether it be an Adventurer or Lander, describing the landscape of the new subforum. Entries limited to a maximum of 2000 words.
