With his increased level Eonis walked deeper into the grove hoping to find something a bit stronger than what he fought over the past few days, he continued to do so until he saw resemblance of castle foundations in the ground. Curiosity beginning to kill the cat, Eonis began to explore the ruins believing that he could find something strong that he could test his new hammer on. He knew that he could not sneak around since he was basically a tank with dog ears so he chose to sit in one spot until he saw something that would come closer to his person. After a good session of staring around his area he was able to determine that there used to be a castle here but something knocked it down and destroyed most of the said castle, what was remaining was just a bunch of gray bricks that were about 12 meters off the ground and other strange remains of bricks scattered around the area. He noted that if someone was able to they would be able to hide very well, after taking this observation he heard thumping as he noticed what looked like a large human about 7 feet off the ground made of mostly bricks and some dark brown soil. Taking a closer look he saw that it was a Lesser Soil Golem and it appeared to be a level 14 one so it was almost at full strength.
"Good now I can try to use this guy to bring down some other suckers i see." Eonis had said to himself. He activated his Cool Defense skill in case something surprised him, he extended his fist and turned on his Scout ability in hopes of recruiting it but as soon as he raised his fist the golem noticed him and began slowly hulking towards Eonis in a hostile manner. "Oh well I guess it's time to test my hammer!" Eonis said loudly as he with drew both his hammer and shield and began to slowly approach towards the large rock. As he started side stepping the surrounding debris he was withing striking distance of the thing and he acted first and struck the beast with his hammer two times before he had to duck behind his shield as he was too preoccupied with attacking to defend to his full ability. He was unable to comprehend how hard the golem hit he was staggered backwards a few inches, in response he decided that it would be smart to take only one swing and then decide to defend. "Thisis goign to take a while" Eonis had said to himself as he began his strategy of a tank and spank. Word Count:[450]

She had taken quite a liking to the Castle Grounds, returning now and again for study of those curious Golems. Tessia found it fascinating how the worked, some just conglomerate magic and rock others streamlined and curved into human shapes. It was today that she, atop a nearby pillar to keep away from the seismic abilities of the Golems, that she saw a lone Guardian sitting in one of the clearings. Staying out of sight atop the high pillar proved easy as she observed this curious fellow.
Usually, teams came out here to take on the Golems or explore the Castle further. He simply sat for awhile and seemed to be waiting for something or someone. It was only when a nearby lvl 14 Golem started approaching that he reacted. At first he seemed to watch it, then it began its usual lumbering walk /run towards him in a aggro'd manner. This one may have been lesser but still had been carved well out of stone by varying forces of magic. It was almost human shaped and quite large. Drawing her bow and staying low, Tessia knocked an arrow and activated Spark Shot as her emblems crackled and a low rumble of a distant storm could be heard.
She knew that she could arm for that exposed joint just under its arm, were the various Magitech circuitry ran and her shot being electric in nature would affect how it worked if only slightly. Might even give this guy a chance. Just as the Golem limbered near him and upraised his arm, Tessia let fly her charged arrow right at the joint under the armpit. The arrow collided and made a brilliant lightning strike animation, as if she had literally cast the bolt from her bow. She stayed hidden hoping that she could assault the Golem from her perch, but she began scanning for a way down just in case it decided to rush her atop the 10 foot tall pillar.

During his strategy of wearing down the golem, Eonis had heard a large crackling sound come from the golem as a chunk of its health disappeared as that single strike wore its health down to 80% in one hit. He knew that there was no possible way that he could do that much damage in one hit and there defiantly no way he had access to elemental skills, thinking about what could have done that much damage in one hit he had nothing so he assumed it was another player lending a hand... or spell. "I don't know who," Eonis blocks another hit from the golem "or where you are but if you could do that about 6 or 7 more times I would be happy. Don't worry about," Taunting Shout Eonis had called out as the Golem noticed that other source of damage in the area and was beginning to shuffle towards the target "him hitting you as I can hold his attention." Eonis had once again blocked a strike from the golem but in an unexpected move it struck again, this caught the guardian off guard as he did not know it even could move in succession. The resulting blow knocked the guardian backwards a few meters in to a broken wall and knocked the wind out of him, "if it wasn't for my defense skill I would have taken a heavier blow!" Eonis said breathing heavily. Trying to cover for his surprise attack Eonis charged towards the golem and brought his hammer down on the top of it's head and followed up with a Hammer Beat for extra damage. Since he used a skill he struck faster than he normally would and he had time to protect himself from the resulting strike. "OK I can do this as long as I don't take anymore hits like that and that player helps" Eonis had said to himself as he continued to attack with his hammer. Word Count:[327]

It was good he knew how to draw the Golems attention. Activating Accel Dance, and her Frozen Crescent glowing dimly to reduce the timer faster, she leaps from atop the pillar and fires a single arrow at the Golems shoulder, focusing on the moving joint shes already damaged. Thanks to her increased speed from Accel, she tosses her bow aside and activates Quick Draw. Twirling in midair, and adding the speed to her strike straight down, Tessia plummets so fast she barely can register her feet hitting the ground so she can roll off of the massive strike.
Her ax blade smolders from the sheer speed of the strike just like before when Bunji fought them. And like before the Golem staggers back for a moment as its arm sparks and dislocates falling aside. This of course enrages it further and makes it lighter sort of, capable of striking a bit faster too. She sat there thinking she was hidden. Nope. The Golem, enraged at the loss of it's arm, flailed about and caught the rocks she was hidden behind, as they exploded from the force of it's strike Tessia could feel the stones flailing at her and her HP already in the yellow. Darting at high speed behind the pillar she was standing atop of earlier she looked about fast to be sure no others were nearby.
Seeing no other Golems joining the fray, she brushed the dust from her eyes and crouched low, as she activated Fatal Ambush. Her moon symbols on her body flicker and glow a soft silver as she lies in wait, watching for when the Golem would be weakest. Hopefully her new-found teammate fared well after the rock blast, she just hoped it was still aggro'd to him as her HP was already at half. She couldn't afford a single miscalculation. The Golem stood at about 30% HP left, Tessia felt her heartbeat slow and her hearing deafening. She would soon be ready.

With the falling figure causing a great amount of damage to he golem Eonis was happy that this was an ally instead of an enemy. If it was a PKer then he would be in a great amount of trouble, so he tried to gather himself as the golem had gotten in to a state of rage after it's arm was removed from it's body the hard way. Eonis had stood there in shock for as long as he was stuck in this game there was nothing he could see produce that much damage from a single attack. As the golem went in a rage the agile figure jumped back to a spot that was high enough for the guardian to not dare stare at since the golem was smashing everything in it's path to get to anything that caused it damage since it entered battle.
Thinking about how it seemed to go any which way Eonis knew now would be a perfect time for him to use a good counter attack, taking his hammer and smashing it on his shield Eonis yelled out "Anchor Howl!" and a green light emitted from his body slowing down the already slow golem and forcing it to make a decision one what to do. "You have 10 seconds, draw it's attention as much as you can, try to trigger my ability and I should be able to finish it off!" Eonis had yelled to the mysterious figure. Already the golem seemed to completely ignore the guardian's deadly effect as it continued to search for the one that completely cut off the arm of the weakened golem. As he was already made aware of Eonis knew that if he used no skills he would lose aggro very quickly so it was a perfect chance to use his most devastating skill. The golem payed the price for attacking another person besides Eonis as the guardian was system assisted to the open back of the golem and using his hammer he hit the golem at the stump where it's arm used to be. With the help of the system he brought it's health done to 20%, "alright try to use one of your skills one more time and we will be over and done with this." Eonis yelled to the unknown person. Word Count:[386] OOC note: You have about 8 seconds to pull attention to yourself. If he aggro's you assume Eonis will strike instantaneously.

He sounded muffled and so far away to her slowing senses as Fatal Ambush caused it's tunnel vision effect, allowing her utmost focus on her target as even it's lumbering form slowed. She could barely hear his words but noticed the skill he used thanks to it's flash of light. Thanking the system mentally, she slips her ax off her back and draws a single throwing knife allowing her ax to sit on the ground. This would be quite bold but she wanted to prove she could be a good partner, and of course not a threat to him.
Eyeing her health once more, Tessia stands and steps out of cover, eyes locked on the Golem as her moon marks suddenly flicker a bloody red color. As if in slow motion, her arm snaps up and tosses the tiny razor sharp blade at the Golem just as it flails around. Right into it's exposed arm socket it went, and thanks to her extra damage, hitting it for just enough to gain it's attention. As it turned Tessia smirked and felt the draining effect immediately from Fatal Ambush on her mana and her mind.
It was capable of turning even a tiny throwing knife into a precise needle of huge pain, the Golem's HP at around 12%. "Hey, you really should turn around." she called to the thing as it lumbered towards her mad with rage. Simply standing there, and hoping that her new-found alley delivered, she waited and even noticed she left her battle ax over next to the pillar. Just as she turned back to see the Golem bearing down on her she says, "Got ya. Time to breath your last." Having no counter and utter faith in this new persons ability, Tessia crosses her arms and waits for the fight to end, her smile of both confidence and taking down another Golem, hidden by her face wrapped mask.

Eonis finally saw the help that was given to him manifest in human form,it appeared to be a rather short girl with blonde hair but the thing that piqued his interest was that she looked to sport a bandana over the bridge of her nose and below effectively concealing her face. What he also saw was that she had tattoos of crescent moons on her skin, they also appeared to be glowing crimson. As this new person looked to be someone that takes advantage of other players skills, she had taken a small blade and thrown it in the hole of the weakened golem. The golem must have received a critical strike from the blow because the second it landed it's health dropped down to 12% and it forgot the last time that it attacked another target, since it lost one arm it was surprisingly more agile (for a golem) since it lost an arm. It was able to run or jog to where the woman was walking calmly to her axe, what Eonis found encouraging was that she simply turned around and looked at the golem with a smug look on her face. This informed the guardian that she had complete trust in him, and as she stood there waiting he knew that he would have to make good with her trust.
Eonis was already a good distance away from the two since he tried to purposely make distance between his new ally and the golem so he would have cover it about 30 meters in a few seconds, in most cases this would be easy with the system assisting him but he was unsure due to the debris in his path. And to his prediction the game did not have him teleport over the rocks but rather had him accelerate at a blinding speed in a large "S" pattern around the rocks. Eonis had never in either of his lives moved that fast on foot so he had no idea how he looked doing it, one thing he did know though was that he was actually enjoying this as he guessed the result would be amazing. Through Eonis's eyes the golem was finally swinging down towards the woman and at that exact moment the game had finished it's auto path for Eonis and was now directing his arm to bring a killing blow to the trigger of his second effect. The guardian was still too excited with anticipation to care whether what look he had on his face or the fact that he was laughing like he set a fire station on fire, he just knew that he had to say one thing and one thing only, "CHECKMATE!"
And with a resounding clang Eonis struck the golem in the exact same place where a small knife was lodged in to, due to this momentum that he picked up from covering such a distance and him hitting a already weak point the hammer not only struck the final blow to the golem but it actually caused it's top half to explode upon contact leaving only it's bottom half standing like it was supposed to be supporting something. After a few second Eonis was able to bring his emotions and face back in to check as he knew that there were other people within hearing or seeing distance of him, while he was doing so the rest of the golem finally burst in a flash of blue light leaving only a few gold coins on the ground that he would be concerned about with later. Sheathing his weapons, the guardian took note that since he was much larger than the woman in front of him he needed to back up a bit as to not make her feel uncomfortable. Stepping backwards until there was about a meter in between them Eonis was thankful to the point that his tail was wagging at a furious speed, "Thanks for the assist you made a 3 minute fight in to a 30 second one." he had finally said to the small woman, hoping that he did not look like he was trying to stare at her...assets. Word Count:[695] OOC Note: Can't help it. Too funny to pass up :D

Nodding to the Guardian, Tessia takes a moment to walk over to her battle ax and hoist it over her shoulder. Turning to smile at him she nods at his assessment of her skill use. "Thanks. I prefer to use ambush and one or two strong strikes to finish my enemies. You were there a good while, don't tell me you had a death wish maybe?", she had heard of players just tossing themselves into battle over and over not caring for their own safety. Some did it as a form of release, others as a form of endless suicide attempts as they couldn't handle the stress. She hoped she was wrong.
Poking her menu as she sits cross-legged to send him a friend request she tugs down her face mask to give a simple smile. "I was researching the Golem's patterns and attachment to the MagiTech used to animate them. Hopefully soon I will have something to show for it." her hand idly toys with her hair braid as she sits her ax next too her and smiles again up at this Guardian. She couldn't help but be reminded of her Bro Bunji and how he always preferred similar armaments. The crescent marks on her body have cooled by now from dark red to the usual faint silver.
"I am Tessia. Tessia Meier by the way. And you are...?" she offered her hand in a simple handshake, hoping that she would have a new friend to call on if she needed it. Or perhaps if he needed someone to scout or take down targets fast. Maybe, she could use him for a attempt at the new type of armor she had been mulling over. The Golem's body did prove a interesting start point. With some luck she may be able to replicate a similar set of arms once she messed around with MagiTech enough. She awaited his responses and still offered her hand with a coy smile.

Eonis had always been someone that was majorly impacted by someones first impression, it didn't help that he was about as subtle as a rock. So when he say Tessia smile his chest felt like he was going to cave in, he had a good train of thought going on with what he had to do with his day but he had lost it immediately when the small blond girl smiled while looking shy. He was thinking that he was going to introduce himself and then leave if she had nothing to say but now he could not think straight as he knew that he was going to end up developing a puppy dog crush if he could not set up mental blocks in time. Trying to think in a cynical way was his strongest defense but unfortunately he was not raised to be a mean person so hopefully when he starts thinking normally she would not do any more things that would charm him. Eonis was deep in his thoughts when he came from them to notice that the girl was standing there with her hand extended out and she was still smiling in the exact same way that made his heart skip a beat in the first place.
"M-m-my is name Eonis." he stuttered as he rose his hand shakily trying to be smooth but he was too shaken up too much for him to put up the front of someone being smooth or even collected. Lucky for him he did not have to raise his hand up very far due to his sheer height and the fact that the woman was small, he was silently happy for someone being short for once as his was actually having trouble raising itself. As he was finally able to reach her hand he took it, noting how small and soft it felt he spoke his next sentence in a sheepishly and in a very confused manner said "I here am test strength new." lucky for the nervous guardian he doesn't sweat much except during times when he should sweat but the trade off was that he could never keep his hands still, for some reason this carried over on to Elder Tales so he knew that he had to have a light grip or he may end up shaking Tessia's entire arm. Eonis knew that this was going to be one of his more embarrassing memories to date so far. Word Count:[410] OOC note: Ah, love at first sight. How adorable

"Well, It is nice to meet you Eonis. If you'd like I have sent my friend submission thing just in case you'd like to talk again. Or maybe need help with a future hunt. I am good at that too." she said, tugging her face mask back up and sliding her ax back onto her back holster. It was nice to meet someone else out of the City, people tended to be themselves out here. Tessia was relieved it wasn't another mad player bent on killing themselves.
"It's good that you are one of the more sane players at least. The threat of this new world doesn't weigh well on some minds. I'll be around and all that should you want to talk. Ok?" Another simple but somewhat hidden smile by her face mask and Tessia leaps lightly back onto one of the outer walls and sat atop it, just in case Eonis had anything else to add. She still had some research to do, and thankfully that fight had given her a bit of stretch.
She began to scout about for other nearby Golem's to tail, and possibly to observe for her future creation. The Golem Armor. That, and she did not wish to seem all that rude towards her new ally, sticking around just within earshot in case he had more to add. Hopefully, he would be able to get back to the town ok.
