Deximus woke up, things felt strange and realistic. The air was new the smells were different; he thought this was just a dream of the new world he had favored so much. Yet, this world wasn't a dream; he couldn't control it like his normal dreams of instant flight or changing the scene to a more familiar lady friendly dream. This was real, and for some reason it felt right. Moving around was a different feeling, however, the world which he had been in was one that was familiar but a different scene, and he wouldn’t have an issue pushing to find the answer as to what the hell happened. Leaving the building he saw others outside it had been sometime what little money he had was used for instant food that had no taste. It was at this point he had no money and there was little time to waste. His previous knowledge of the game prior would help him guide lightly through this world until he found the answers he was searching for. Now for a simple means of understanding, he would visit the old parliament building in hope for a few clues to get started; after all there was something that had to exist for the purpose of finding a clue.
Walking to through the crowds, the air was clear with some knowing they would recruit some in order to exploit, and other to solidify their power. Deximus would not fall prey to such simple ploy’s it was after all his true second time pushing through the chaos that would make him a more agile play to the others. His only train of thought at this moment was research, it is only then could he hope to move forward with the knowledge required to find what is proper and best for the direct future. Deximus walked through the crowds listen as carefully as he could; hearing that no one had a clue about the calamity it was an issue that would require time. To Dex, time was the only thing he could imagine he had for this world.
It had been two weeks, the books in the building held very little clues. The few others that had been there looking for answers as well had nothing; Dex would soon have to adopt another means to move forward. This would require training, and skill. Two things which he hadn’t trained at all, amongst all the dust and books under the candle lit room, Dex was for once lost amongst all the information he had once come to know to be true. His thoughts were the only thing to push him willingly; it was then that he felt his stomach ache. What would he do, there was little to no room for error in as he has assumed. However, there was nothing to base this calamity on, but it would and couldn’t be desirable.

BLACK TEARS, BLACK SMILES Black credit cards and shoes You can call all the people you want But it's you who's being used The days here in Elder Tale seemed to go by rather slowly when you had nothing else to do with your time. Serana had attempted to venture outside the walls of the city only to find that the people out there were equally as boring. It was hard to progress in a world based on an MMO when you had very few friends ingame and you were awful at making new ones. Her social skills were definitely lacking, something she was aware of long before she became stuck here in this world. When people only liked you for the things you had rather than who you were you had a habit of shutting down on the inside to deal with it. Yawning aloud, the assassin sat high up on a perch over looking the main streets of the Londinium District and did what she did best; people watching. From here she could watch the masses scurry to and fro as they went about trying to figure out how to get on. Some moped about, others chose to become like the people of the land, and then there were people like herself who sought adventure. Here in this world they were invincible soldiers of fortune and she would not squander a chance to break the rules in a world where she was immortal. Stretching her arms above her head, she blinked a few times as she picked someone out of the crowd who seemed to moving with some purpose. ' Wonder what he's up to.' she thought to herself as she shifted into a crouched position. Normally she didn't care but today she was feeling like she needed to do something so that her brain didn't turn to mush in her skull out of boredom. Leaping down from her perch, Serana would merge with the crowds as she kept her eyes on the summoner ahead of her. She found that the people who played support or caster classes in these games were often more interesting. She followed him silently into the older parliament building and down to a dusty book filled hallway. Raising a brow, the assassin soon found a new place to hide in a corner while she waited to see what he would do. Of course she was not too surprised when he started to pour through the books in search of what she could only imagine was some sort of clue on what to do next. That was when she decided to make herself known to the guy that she had been tailing. Coughing to make some noise, her [Silent Move] skill prevented her footsteps from making noise, she would try to draw his attention. There was a rather blank expression on her face as she looked him over a couple of times. "You're probably wasting your time here. Others would have come here first." she said. Of course she was only making a guess that he was trying to solve the great mystery; why were they here? "Your best bet is probably to level up so you can ask the people of the land in other regions." she said, offering him her suggestion without being asked. Serana could care less if she had startled the man or not, she had a habit of sneaking up on people. (Om nom nom nom)
Another day as a new player in Elder Tale. Somehow, this Old Parliament Building is like my second birthplace. Maybe because this is the first place I have set my foot since I was thrown into this game world.
(Om nom nom nom)
Meh, the same taste as usual. It’s not like I don’t like it, but it will be nice to taste real flavor once awhile. (punch to the chest)(glug) gahh … seems like there is other people who can cook it, a real flavored meal. However, I don’t have enough money to buy it. (scratch scratch) as low leveled player, seems this is all I can have with what I am now.
(Om nom nom nom)
(Put a basket with other three breads near where I sit) hmm … who is that, he just entered the parliament building. He looks like so worn out, maybe he is hungry. Then (smile) he is also a new player huh. I can feel your pain man. (grab the breads basket, attempt to introduce myself)
(Suddenly a girl approaching him) Meh, a date then, it is so nice if you have girlfriend to cook for you. Moreover if she can cook real flavored meal in this world. (glug) Dang, thinking about that just make me more hungry.
(Om nom nom nom)
Well, Let’s just see what will happen.

Name: Cruex Word Count: 503 Tagged: osiris, @serana, lukavminaev Notes: I hope it's okay for me to jump in~ | Being practically thrown into the MMORPG known as Elder Tale was quite the shock for the gaming obsessed shut-in. He had absolutely no idea as to where he should begin in this new world. There was hardly anything known about the recent happening to any of the players that were trapped within Elder Tale. For one, Cruex wondered if the combat system was any different, and if so, how? He paced back and forth, taking notice of many other players who seemed uneasy about the questions he had been asking himself.
Not much longer into his mindless pacing, he noticed a player walk toward the parliament building. Probably to do research. After all... we have been here for a couple weeks already. Research wasn't Cruex's favorite thing to do, however, he chose to follow the player into the building. He made sure that it didn't look as if he was following anyone as he just casually strolled along. While doing so, he did catch movement in the corner of his eye and his ear twitched to a very light, almost inaudible sound that he was sure weren't footsteps. So someone else is interested in him too? Well, it's not unexpected, of course. There is rarely anything that could catch my eye for more than a minute, so it was bound to catch someone else's.
Without drawing any attention, he merely scanned through the various books scattered about, taking note to memorize the titles of the ones he might be interested in. Not before long, he heard someone speak up. Whoever had been trailing the other player had decided to reveal themselves and become apparent. He listened loosely to the words she spoke as he continued to look through a new section of books. Wasting time, eh? I guess she isn't wrong, although there could be huge benefits towards the right kind of research. And leveling up wasn't a bad idea at all. In fact, I planned on doing just that before I got side-tracked. He was almost done pretending to look through the books and he planned on confronting the two about the current 'situation'. However, he wasn't too sure about how to do that.
I mean, yeah this is still mostly a game... But that doesn't change the fact that it's me here now and not just a computer generated character. Because of this, my social skills might be just as bad as they were in reality. If so, that just totally sucks. All that remained now for Cruex was to decide if he wanted to perhaps befriend the two players or just walk out entirely and go out to explore on his own. Going solo didn't sound like that bad of an idea to him, but it may come with plenty of risks given that he's still such a low-leveled player. He already knew that if you were to die, you just revived at the cathedral and that wasn't such a big deal. Everything else... was what was worrisome to him. |

Deximus was well into the current books of the history of this area, when a voice came from the shadows, “You’re probably wasting your time here. Others would have come here first.” The voice belonging to a woman barely standing in any form of light, here in the old Parliament building.
Scared Deximus he threw the book into the air falling back over the chair. Deximus hit his head on the ground leaving a small bump. Rubbing the sore spot, the lady continued talking, “Your best bet is probably to level up so you can ask the people of the land in other regions.”
The responses to some simple thoughts had been confirmed. Deximus started to pick up the couple pages that had fallen out of the book and aimed to carefully find their place back in the new damaged book. Seeing a blank page Deximus decided to take the piece of old paper for something else he had planned. While cleaning up the mess Dex had to respond instead of staying silent, “I will have to assume you followed me here, and giving the situation you might be in a similar situation as myself, if possible would you care to take a seat here at the table?”
Deximus knew not of the person; however the simple HUD display showed she was a level 1 assassin, and she would be plenty useful for a possible friendship or group of sorts. Deximus wasn’t just going over the history of this place and area, he was also looking for simple maps and paths that could prove useful since he was truly new to this area and general information is key to being successful.
Osiris then began wondering, if anyone else followed him there. After all if one person was to follow, some smaller fragments may appear. No matter, Deximus nice walked over and pulled out the other chair to help comfort the young lady, that he had no ill intentions.
Deximus smiled, “If you like this chair can be for you, I am okay with the thought of leveling up but simple knowledge and information is required before any plan of action.” Deximus waited to see if she would come over and sit down.
(I am totally fine with other players joining, just please aim to stay in order. ^_^ )

BLACK TEARS, BLACK SMILES Black credit cards and shoes You can call all the people you want But it's you who's being used The actions of the man before her in response to her greeting were quite hilarious. Usually the people of this world didn't seem too startled by things considering that monsters often jumped out at you. There was a short laugh that followed the boys antics showing that she was, in fact, quite amused by her decision to sneak up on him in the end. The fact that he seemed so relaxed here showed that he felt safe in the city, which she supposed he should. She never truly felt self anywhere, thus why she chose to remained concealed in low lighting as she spoke to the summoner about how to find information. "Similar as I don't know the how or why regarding why we are here. I don't exactly mind, this world is far more interesting than the one we came from." she replied. Taking a few steps forward, the assassin revealed herself to the man by stepping into the light. There was a rather bored expression on her face, which happened to be the default, and her long red hair flowed loosely down to her shoulders. Reaching up, she lowered her white cowl so that he could see her face better, and stared back at him with piercing green eyes. Nodding at the man, she accepted the offer of a place to sit and moved towards him slowly as to show she came in peace. Taking a seat next to him, Serana looked over the titles that sat before them and tried to figure out exactly what he was researching. "A smart decision, I guess. If you need information such as where to go to level up, I can help. I've played around on the Japanese servers a bit before this server." she added. After that she decided to introduce herself, figuring it was better to know his name than just call him "Hey you" or the summoner. "Names Serana." she offered, sticking out her hand for him to shake. "..and I was curious as to whether or not you'd be interested in partying up for a bit after you finish here." she said with a forced smile. Trying to look sincere was hard for here even if she was in fact being sincere. Word Count: 375 Tagged: osiris, lukavminaev, CruexNotes: CODED BY ELECTRIC OF GANGNAM STYLE

Sigh, I still can’t hear clearly what they are talking but (tilt my head) for a date, that guy is kind of too shy or too polite to the lady if you see him. Hmm, maybe there is that kind of relationship too.
“… If you like this chair … simple knowledge and information …”
Hmm? Chair? Info? Is that some kind of marriage proposal? Hmm, wait a minute, chair and info, chair and knowledge. If you marry me, I will give you knowledge and info. If you marry me, I will give you this chair. Argh, that doesn’t connect.
“… This world is far more …”
That’s right, this world is far more dangerous. You can’t think about something like that yet. Yeah, but to be honest that guy really has courage to propose her in time like this. I thought he just usual shy guy. Ah, speaking of this world, it looks like they are discussing about this world. Hmm, maybe I can learn something if I join them. Might as well introduce myself.
(Arrived near them) “ah, hello uh, you know, I understand if both of you currently in (wave both paws) a date. I just interested in what you two discussing just know, may I join?” (Offer a basket with 3 tastefulness breads in it)
Hmm, it looks like they are confused. Ah.
“Ah, my name is lukav and I am (click click) I am a monk class, a berserker, and also a blacksmith. I am a newbie, I mean really a newbie to all of this game thing. Don’t mind me, you can chat as usual, go on”
(Put the basket on his hand then take a sit behind them, and put a wide smile)

Name: Cruex Word Count: 269 Tagged: osiris, @serana, lukavminaev Notes: N/A | Cruex continued to eye the two players, holding back a chuckle at how the summoner reacted to the sneaking assassin. He remained where he currently stood, listening intently on the words coming out of the female assassin's mouth. She then introduced herself to the summoner as Serana. Once she did that, Cruex decided to join in with the two. However, before he could walk over, a third player walked up to them who introduced himself as Lukav the monk blacksmith with the subclass of berserker. So I wasn't the only one watching those two. But did he mention... a date? He thinks they're on a date? Cruex looked perplexed at Lukav but decided to put it off.
He approached the group and tilted his head in a greeting. "You don't mind if I join you three, do you?" He smiled at them before introducing himself, "My name is Cruex and I'm a low-leveled assassin with the subclass of hunter and crafting subclass of blacksmith." He sat down in one of the chairs separate from the table that the others were at, but he was still close enough to properly converse. He scanned the titles of the books that lay on the table in front of the summoner, examining the kinds of things he was attempting to research. It's pretty obvious what he'd be researching, but assuming doesn't get anyone anywhere. Cruex grinned and spoke, "Other than researching, what do you plan to do to figure out our current situation?" He directed the question more towards the summoner whose name he had not learned, but also toward the assassin Serana and the monk Lukav. |

The woman came laughed at Deximus for the scared factor he showed, after all this was supposed to be a place of safety and any threats to other players will most likely dealt with by possible A.I. guards. No matter, the fact she came from the light and lowered her hood with a simple response, “Similar as I don’t know the how or why regarding why we are here. I don’t exactly mind, this world is far more interesting than the one we came from.” This simple response with a simple head nod showed Deximus he could chat with this person. After she was seated it wasn’t a secret that she was slightly interested in what Deximus was reading she did comment, “A smart decision, I guess. If you need information such as where to go to level up, I can help. I’ve played around on the Japanese servers a bit before this server.” Deximus nodded his head to the information she was giving, however, he never did give his name. She was quick to give her name with a hand out to shake (A formal greeting Deximus thought), “Names Serana….and I was curious as to whether or not you’d be interested in partying up for a bit after you finish here?”
Deximus could see her aiming to try to show a sincere smile, Deximus had yet to try any emotions outside of smiling; after all he never did use emotes in the game before. Deximus turned to walk back to his chair when another fellow came forth, Deximus stood on one foot closer to the table with both hands in a gesture of surrender.
The person, who wasn’t human but rather a Werecat spoke, “ah, hello uh, you know, I understand if both of you currently in (wave both paws) a date. I just interested in what you two discussing just know, may I join?” (Offer a basket with 3 tastefulness breads in it)
Osiris quickly aimed to gather himself, as the beast who is nicely about to introduce himself, “Ah, my name is Lukav I am (click click) I am a monk class, a berserker, and also a blacksmith. I am a newbie, I mean really a newbie to all of this game thing. Don’t mind me, you can chat as usual, go on.” Lukav placed the basket in Deximus hands and sat down behind on the small crate, holding a wide smile.
Osiris sigh'd a little; yet again he thought another false scare. This day was truly becoming something to observe and document. Looking at both Serana and Lukav he placed the basket of bread on the corner of the table. Deximus was about to once again with a smile take his seat when a third person came forth, “You don’t mind if I join you three, do you?” Deximus lightly screamed, “WHY!!” as his slightly jumped back his hands flailed and the basket with the bread in it flew, with some odd luck the three pieces of bread ended up in his, Serana, and Lukav’s mouth. Deximus was choking as he was grabbing the bread to pull out of his mouth, and with one motion he fell to the ground, the Foxtail spoke, “My name is Cruex and I’m a low-leveled assassin with the subclass of hunter and the crafting subclass of blacksmith.”
That next moment, both hands came to grab the table and in one hand was the bread with a bite taken out of it. Deximus pulled himself up, and tried to recover and retain his formal form. This time he was able to speak, “Well it is a pleasure to meet all of you, my name is Deximus and if you couldn’t tell I am a summoner, with the two sub classes of Scribe and Apprentice.”
Now finally being able to take his seat, he scooted his chair closer to the table as the man Cruex, who was sitting at a close but still little distant table spoke, “Other than researching, what do you plan to do to figure out our current situation?”
Now that was the question, Deximus now had three people who all snuck up on him and took advantage of his carelessness. Deximus brought his empty hand to his mouth and made a little cough.
Once his throat was clear, “I thank you all for being here, Miss Serana,Mr. Lukav, and Mr. Cruex to answer your questions carefully.” Thinking for a second before saying the wrong choice of words, “I wish to gather what simple knowledge of this new world, while it may be similar to Elder Tale, I am sure there are different rules and monsters along with as we can already see different settings.”
Deximus looked at Serana, “I would like to form a small party after we all kindly have the understanding, that it might be best to work together then stand alone.” Ending with a smile before continuing on to the next person.
Looking at Lukav who was definitely a unique person, “I can imagine it being rather difficult for you to this new world, I would gladly assist you as I can in order for us to not be as the term you used newbie.”
Finally looking at Crex, “As for the simple question what is next, I can say this a little history and some simple maps will be great in starting out. While, yes, we can just go out there and start fighting monsters or each other, I would like to share, we all are easy marks for someone with experience.”
After looking and acknowledging everyone there, Deximus took a small bite of the piece of bread that he was previously choking on. The nice gesture that Lukav brought helped him pull his thoughts together. Before opening one book named “Londinium District” as the booked laid on the table for everyone who wanted to see, showed a simple map of the town and the first zones that surround the city. While, this map wasn’t anything great it would be the start for planning out a simple journey should they stay.
Pointing to the first easiest zone, “Once we can all agree to want to work together and ideally have the same goals, I would like to start here in the lowest zone, this way we can truly gauge what it is we are up against.” Looking at everyone in the room once again, he would wait for their responses and concerns.

BLACK TEARS, BLACK SMILES Black credit cards and shoes You can call all the people you want But it's you who's being used For the poor summoner it seemed that there was no end in sight to the sudden appearances of other players. If his heart didn't give out from the shock of being startled she imagined that he would remain jumpy for the rest of the day. For the first time since she arrived in this world, Serana was amused by something and felt it worth a laugh. Her giggle was short and very soft as she watched the antics of the summoner with that same half smile. On reflex when the basket flipped the assassin shot her hand into the air and caught the loaf of bread that flew in her direction. "Unfortunately you have arrived at the wrong conclusion, Lukav. I am here simply because I had an interest in the work he was doing." she said in her usual soft tone of voice. There was a noticeable french accent when she speak, heavy but easy enough to understand if one was paying close enough attention. Shifting the way she was sitting, Serana crossed one leg over the other and leaned forward towards the table. Placing her elbows on the surface, she folded her hands together and rested them under her chin. There were four of them now at this small table in the parliament building. Surely with four heads merged together the research the man was attempting would move somewhat faster than it had before. Her eyes shifted towards the fox tail assassin who now joined them, she had always had a fondness for the partial animal races of the game. For some reason, however, her mind drew her towards the human race simply because she related to it the most. Nodding her head as she listened, Serana realized that he had a fairly decent plan. Drawing maps of the world around them, gathering monster information, and sharing their strengths could be a better way to tackle this. For the most part people seemed to be charging out of the city into the unknown and winging it as they went along. The fact that Dex did not do these things showed her that perhaps he was an experienced MMO player as well. "It's clear that you have some experience with MMO's. Honestly, I would be willing to assist in this plan of yours. My only goal for the time being is to gain the strength to look after myself." she said. She didn't wish for it to sound like she was selfish and only out to take care of one person but that should have been everyone's first priority. "So long as everyone here shares the goal of leveling up, I am up for a little pre-planning before we head out." she said. Pausing for a moment to consider what she could offer, she realized she was both an excellent spy and a chef. "If we decide to form a group I can offer my skills in gathering information, spying, for lack of a better term. I am also a chef.. and I'm sure you have all noticed the lack of taste in this worlds food." she added. The half smile that was present in the beginning faded and her expression returned to that of a blank and emotionless one. Munching the bread that suddenly fall onto my mouth. I just nodding through all of the explanation of summoner guy. Well, (scratch scratch) I don’t have any better idea. Especially after he mentioned about fighting some monsters. Hell yeah, fighting monsters in a four persons party will be new experience for me (hit the table lightly with my fist). “Count me in”.
Fighting together with four people eh. One monk, two assassins, and a summoner. I cannot imagine how the fight will be. Well, I don’t know yet how an assassin or summoner fight, but I am quite adept to whatever happens in combat. Especially (grin) if you have a couple lovey dovey in your party. "Unfortunately you have arrived at the wrong conclusion …” ahh, damn, seems like I am in the wrong track again. “well, then, for that I am humbly apologize. Miss”
The assassin girl then stating about her support in the group. “Then, I am a fighter, I’ll also be in the front line” I am a bit hesitant about telling my past story fighting some boars in this game when I have just be thrown in. Because it seems there is so much important thing we can discuss about. Moreover, I still don’t have clear information about assassin guy (looking at him).

Name: Cruex Word Count: 287 Tagged: osiris, @serana, lukavminaev Notes: Really sorry for taking so long | Cruex nodded at the response he received from the summoner known as Deximus. "That doesn't seem like a bad plan at all. Obtaining as much information about this world and the creatures within it would be a great start to figuring everything out." He listened to the responses of the other two players and contemplated them. "Despite being an assassin, I'm not much of a spy. Given that my subclass is Hunter, I can possibly help gain information about the creatures of Elder Tale by capturing or defeating them if that'd be of any help. I do wish I had a more useful skill though..." He smiled awkwardly as he was slightly embarrassed by his poor choice of a subclass as it didn't fit well with the Assassin class much at all.
He noticed out of the corner of his eye that the Monk Lukav looked over in his direction. He quickly pondered about this but decided to put it off. First things first, he needed to learn more about the three players sitting at the table in order to work better with them while also keeping to the subject of gathering information.
He turned his attention back to Dex as the summoner opened a book and pointed to the map on the page. “Once we can all agree to want to work together and ideally have the same goals, I would like to start here in the lowest zone, this way we can truly gauge what it is we are up against.” Cruex nodded as he studied the map and memorized specific areas marked on it. "That sounds like a great idea. I'd be more than happy to work with all of you if it meant being able to figure things out." |

Deximus listened to what everyone had to say, after seeing them all in general agreement. He took his finger away from the book. Moving to placing the books back into a pile, he had to think if this could actually work. A monk that is his own weapon, an assassin that can track and stay hidden, a different style assassin that is a hunter, and a summoner that can fight close quarter with a healing bunny. It would be an odd way to fighting, normally in the more traditional sense a tank, dps, long range magic/support, and a healer would be the perfect stance for smaller groups. Having what appears to be three fighters and a support, will be something new. Looking at everyone Deximus figured he would start, “Well, my job will be support, and my summon is carbuncle; a light healer summon with low offensive attacks. However, in this case I will have to not only support, but offer overall command to relay between each other.” Deximus looked at everyone, knowing them to be able to fight and last longer in most fights, it would be best to coordinate attacks and skills carefully towards all enemies. With each person in the group having unique set of skills, the true balance will be that we work upon those tactics.
“I would like to offer, that if we can work on our skills and tactics against the low level monsters together that maybe we can perfect something new in this Elder Tale version.”
Deximus was thinking the monk will be best suited for being the tank, with drawing in all the attention of the monsters in our little area, the monsters would be exposed to critical attacks by the two assassins easily dealing in high damage for quick heals. It would be my job to make sure to keep the monk alive through simple healing from my summon, I would have to find a spot that is a little higher up on the battlefield for the purpose of being able to look for any danger and gauge our teams success.
Opening up his game display, Deximus sent out friend request to the three members here and followed with party invites. “I would like us to be able to all be on each other’s friends list and this will help by being in a group together for our private chat.”
(We can take this thread into the fight zone or we can keep this open to allow us to still talk things out and have different thread for us to go fight monsters, your choice please let me know ^_^ )

Verin bobbed and weaved through a big crowd of people in the building, reading a small notebook that held his notes on todays targets, since he had decided to practice his puppet, he needed something easy that could be found in groups and have some type of lead so he had chosen to fight Young Pittered Boars, Frenmic Rabbits, Garden Snakes, and a few Pittered Boars so he could have diversity that would come in at him different ways and so he could get better at using the puppet which had done very little of. He knew that out of all of his chosen targets he would have trouble with it would be the Garden Snakes since they could attack at him at any time and he wouldn't be able to fight them until he saw them at the two meter range which would be troublesome but good for close range combat with the puppet and in case of emergencies he would drop the puppet and then use his sword which he was better at. As he weaved through some people some more he side stepped past one person, only to trip on his red tail and then fall against a person causing them both to fall. Once they had gotten up he looked down and saw he was on top of a man in cloth and immediately jumped off of him and then started apologizing and after a while he calmed down and then put out his hand to help the man up he introduced himself, "The name's Verin and again I'm sorry."

BLACK TEARS, BLACK SMILES Black credit cards and shoes You can call all the people you want But it's you who's being used The red headed assassin raised a brow at the werecat sitting at the table with them. Apparently he was rather excitable which she hoped would not get them killed in the days to come. All things considered however she could not afford to be picky when it came to her allies right now. The last time she attempted to reach out and form a group it didn't turn out so well for her. Perhaps this time it would be different and things would pan out for her. Scoffing at the idea internally, she wouldn't hold her breath for now as she assumed she would suffocate first. Nodding her head in response to his apology she was honestly baffled by his reasoning. How he had arrived at such an outlandish conclusion was beyond her. Then again perhaps it was a cultural difference, she had no idea where he was from in the real world. In her culture a date didn't usually include dusty old books in a government facility. It was great to hear that they had another person who was willing to fight. A Monk could be a valuable asset to any team considering they were one of the three tank classes. "A tank, two damage dealers, and a support class. Not a bad start I suppose." she commented casually. They were of course missing a healer but that didn't matter much at lower levels. The damage that boars put out could easily be overcome if one simply brought along a few extra health potions while farming for experience. "A healer would be ideal but with a little extra gold and some caution you can usually deal with the monsters without one. You just have to play it smart." she said. Hopefully she didn't come off as arrogant in saying such things. Of course the stipulation of joining a group was often that they wanted you to join their party and friends list. Serana was not thrilled by this but at the same time her solo play attitude didn't work now that this wasn't a game. Accepting the friend request without hesitance, she quickly tabbed over and accepted the party invite as well. "We should probably be going then. There is only so much you can learn without experiencing the real thing. Have any of you, aside from our monk, been in combat?" she asked out of curiosity. I am cheered up for a bit when the assassin girl accepted my apology. However, as the summoner guy stated about cooperation with our skill and tactic, I feel our discussion has arrived to its central point. “Ah, before I forgot. I should inform you that I have been fighting some boars before. I think I figured a bit of fighting style that suite me. I usually draw enemy’s attention with this skill of mine called ‘aura saber’, then start luring them by dashing backward. If they are in a pack, I should group them together first. Once I unleash ‘aura saber’, it will consume about 50% of my MP, so in normal battle I can use it twice. However I brought four MP basic MP potions with me, one drink of them will fully fill my MP. I also brought two HP potions that will fill 75% of my HP bar each. I usually just lure enemies by dashing backward and try to bring them down one by one, because I cannot always hoping for them to miss. Well, sometimes I came up with some variation, but I think that is all I can do (scratch scratch), hope I won’t interfere you guys way of fighting” I put HP and MP potions back to my inventory. The assassin girl asking if the other guys have battled before too, but then another fox guy coming and accidentally stepped on assassin guy’s tail.

Name: Cruex Word Count: 519 Tagged: osiris, @serana, lukavminaev, Verin Notes: Taking it to the battlefield sounds fun ^w^ | Just as he expected everyone else to have noticed, Cruex brought up the issue in his mind about the positions of each of them. An average party in Elder Tale would normally have split parts and specific roles for each player, allowing them to maintain momentum in a fight. Deximus's voice broke into his thoughts, coincidentally regarding them directly, “Well, my job will be support, and my summon is carbuncle; a light healer summon with low offensive attacks. However, in this case I will have to not only support, but offer overall command to relay between each other.” Cruex nodded at the words, agreeing that giving Dex command would be the wiser choice. He turned his head to the female assassin as she begun speaking, "A tank, two damage dealers, and a support class. Not a bad start I suppose." Again, Cruex nodded. Having such a team combination might prove difficult at first, but may end up teaching something about the system of combat within this new Elder Tale.
"Perfect something new, eh? That sounds tricky but I'm definitely up to the challenge." He grinned and his ears twitched in anticipation. He turned his attention to the "friend request" interface screen hovering in front of him. He agreed that adding everyone here to his friends list would be the best option in order to keep in contact with each other if something were to come up. He accepted the request and a second notification appeared, but this time it was a "party invitation." Grinning, he clicked accept to that as well.
However, only have Deximus on his friends list would prove difficult in contacting the other two players, so he decided to send them both a request as well, hoping they'd accept. After everyone had accepted Dex's friend requests and the party invitation, Serana spoke once more, "We should probably be going then. There is only so much you can learn without experiencing the real thing. Have any of you, aside from our monk, been in combat?" Of course Cruex wouldn't had spent so much time within this new world without having the urge to experiment. He spoke up with his answer, "I have, I traveled out into the marshlands a couple days ago and fought some of the weaker monsters that live there including the possessed stumps. The stumps have the ability immobility which can be a weakness, but they're also aggressive and attack on sight."
He listened with excitement as the Monk Lukav began explaining the way in which he uses his skill known as "Aura Saber" and replied, "Wow, that's pretty cool! It sounds strong. I have a skill known as "Deadly Dance" that deals more damage with the more momentum I obtain while carrying out the attack. With this skill I tend to use my battle ax since it's easier to wield and is more effective with downward slashes. My dagger I use more for stabbing motions and upward slashes." He stopped speaking there for he believed he'd been talking too long. After finishing his short ramble, he awaited the comments of the other players. |

Hearing what everyone had to say was perfect until a man walked into Deximus, leaving Deximus on the floor and this man apparently on top of him. Not knowing what happened, Deximus was greeted by the stranger. “The name’s Verin and again I’m sorry.”
Deximus was indeed not having the best day, “Hello, I can see this really isn’t my day. Nice to meet you Verin, thanks again for answering the little message I left you. Figured it would be a great thing to talk with a more experienced Summoner, the other reason I wanted to meet you was for the fact you’re an alchemist and well, I do want your help.”
Looking back at the others, “Sorry for the light distraction, I have thought that if Lukav would distract and agro them in for the fight, you two come up behind doing crit hits on the monsters, while I aim to heal and keep a good view on the fight.”
Looking back at Verin, “Well Verin, if you would like, I would like to have you watching us in battle, this way if you have any tips and knowledge you can share with us. It will make us working as a team better, and if we just happen to run into a boss monster, the added help is ideal.”
Looking back at the other members Deximus placed his hand under his chin in a thinking pose, “Would you guys be okay with this plan of action?” Deximus was aiming to pull together something amazing in his mind, the practice and skills of these players would only move forward, even if they decided to go their own way, he was sure they would always be up for the call to something greater. Deximus was now placing his trust into something that isn’t what is, but rather what it will be.
(310)(OOC: if we are all in agreement after this set of posting, I am sure we shall move out ^_^ and kick some monster butt/// I just realized I mixed you with another person xD can't change what was written)

Verin smiled at the man and said, "It's a pleasure to meet you Osiris, that's what you said to call you right, I honestly can't remember well. Anyway you got my class wrong, I'm not a Summoner I'm a Sorcerer a mage of the elements, but I'll still give you advice if you want it and of course I'll come with you it's fun to see what some newbies can do in a fight and it seems like you guys have a plan." Verin looked at the small group and could tell their classes easily, two Assassins and a Monk, including Osiris who was a Summoner, they had a good group that could handle a lot of stuff even without a healer. With a look of happiness in his eyes Verin performed a bow and then said, "I am Verin Moon, I am a level Seven Sorcerer if anything goes wrong I'll protect and support you the best I can. It a pleasure to meet you all." Verin then stood back up and showed a grateful smile for he had something to do again.

BLACK TEARS, BLACK SMILES Black credit cards and shoes You can call all the people you want But it's you who's being used The chatter around the table was becoming more and more excitable as the group discussed their experiences. At the very least she was becoming more and more willing to entrust her life to this group for now. Two of them had experience in the field which was exactly what they needed. Of course she did as well, though she avoided combat the last time she was out there. She did however observe a few fights and even a couple PK's while she was out and about. It didn't bother her as much as it should she imagined as she realized she had no reaction to it. "It seems our monk has a working knowledge of threat and knows how to kite. We're off to a good start with at least two of us knowing the ropes." she said with a nod. Her pale lips curved into a smile as she looked between the three of them. She tried her best to emulate some sort of positive emotion to at least make the rest of the comfortable. She seemed like a down right miser when she didn't force herself to laugh or smile. "I can't imagine there is more to discu-" she started but was cut off rather abruptly. Another person stumbled into the group now which seemed to be gaining popularity today. By the looks of him he seemed to be another caster which lead her to assume some sort of DPS. Enchanters and summoners were a lot more uncommon to her than sorcerers which is how she arrived at her decision before it was even discussed. "We might as well get moving now so we don't burn the daylight we do have." she said urging them into action hopefully. Despite her calm attitude she was quite anxious to get out there and put her dagger to work. Word Count: 308 Tagged: -- Notes: -- CODED BY ELECTRIC OF GANGNAM STYLE
