If there was at least one advantage with his choice of clothing, it was that it was quite appropriate wear for going out into the water. Okay, leather pants not so much, but you had to work with what you had. In fact, it was the lack of having stuff that had led Tali to his current situation. The lure of a treasure hunt was strong after all; rare equipment, magical artifacts, or even just gold. Who knows what exactly could be lurking in the next chest? Even one whose job was to lurk in the shadows had to come out and enjoy some sunlight with such an offer being made.
And so that was what brought Tali to his current location, on the banks what would be the Thames river back in the old world. Quick glances of the area revealed no missed, easy to spot chests it seemed. So that had required him to go out into the deeper waters. Not being a fisherman made that kind of difficult; the constant coming up for air was annoying, especially with his longer head of hair sitting heavy on his head.
Tired, soaked, and just wanting a break, Tali made his way out of the water, the sand darkening with the water dripping off of him. Some side of had to laugh at the image, seeing as back in the old world the sight of a woman glistening with water would have been a rather…arousing image. Yet all he could think about now was how annoying it would be to get covered in sand when he sat down to rest.
Fortunately, he had brought along a blanket to use as a sort of towel. Wouldn’t keep him completely sand free, but it’d fight the worst of it. Laying down, he closed his eyes to relax. He’d try again in a few, and hey, maybe in the meantime some well-meaning person would come by and he could charm his way to some help. ..

"So glad that I made a plan to go to the beach today!" Eonis yelled while he was headed to the beach at full speed. Due to his upbringing in a tropical environment he missed being able to go to the beach so he made plans while he was in his daily life of questing and interacting with others but as time went on he began to miss the sandy shores that used to be part of his home, he even dressed in a extra pair of green shorts with a hole in the back for his tail. If one were to observe him they would see a very tall man with brown skin and a black tail sticking through green shorts and black ears sitting on the top of his head, if Eonis wasn't so excited he would be able to control the features of his race but he was having an impossible time doing so. He even had a smile on his face that looked like he was enjoying a great joke.
After about half a day he had approached the beach and he was even more excited as his tail was wagging at a speed where if someone were to be hit by it they would be hurt a bit. As he finally was about to step foot in the sand he saw a figure sitting on the sand, it looked to be a female and she was lying on a cloth. He came to the beach to relax and he planned to keep it like so, with a set goal in mind he passed by the girl and keeping to his manners he turned to say hello as he was passing by not caring to hear a response but rather the ocean. He finally approached the water, taking a deep breath of the air he extended to his sides and took in the sun and the feel of the coast and yelled "Finally I'm back in my element!" he yelled before running in the water going for a swim to some rocks enjoying every second of his time in the water. After an undetermined amount of time he came to shore shaking himself like he saw dogs doing and shaking his head to the direction of the ground in a attempt to get water out of his extra large ears, successfully doing so brought relief to the man and taking a break from the swim he looked at the girl once again and waved with a smile, curious on what she was doing he trotted over to where he she was laying down and stopped and positioned himself in a baseball catchers stance and to the side of woman and a few meters away so he won't intimidate her due to his sheer height. Finally introducing himself he spoke "Hi, names Eonis what are you doing here?"

His little piece of rest and relaxation was interrupted by the arrival of a wolf-man apparently really enjoying the river beach. While swimming was fun and all, it was just a river; it wasn’t like it was a real ocean beach. Although if his memory of geography was correct London in real life wasn’t that far from the coasts. Maybe once people explored more and left the city an actual beach could be visited?
In any case, the eager to swim lad was gone soon enough, giving off a small hello that Tali returned. He seemed nice enough at least, and it was good to see someone enthusiastic in this world. Everyone was so gloomy now a days, though admittedly it was for a fair enough reason. As he ran off into the water to swim, Tali decided to simply relax a little bit longer before going out searching for treasure.
Not too long after she found herself being approached by the guy from earlier. It seemed just simple curiosity was the name of the game, so for now Tali decided to engage in conversation. But first, he had been laying down long enough, so he decided to stand back up while chatting, making sure to keep the voice feminine for now.
”Well, I was just relaxing a bit before going back out searching for treasure again,” he said, stretching a little bit from having laid down so long.
”Apparently there’s some event going on with some treasure chests popping up and I figured I’d try and get some of it. The name’s Tali by the way, and if you’re interested maybe you’d like to help me. You seem to really like the water from the looks of it.”

"Nice to meet you Tali, I came here for a day near the water so I might as well be productive about it." Eonis said to the girl, standing up slowly he turned to get some more space between them as he began the process of taking his armor out form his inventory. One by one the pieces that he used to fight the mobs in this word appeared First he materialized his shield since that was what he was always comfortable with, it was a large shield that was about the size of his legs and much wider but it was shaped into a kite. Next his hammer materialized, it was a simple hammer that was good for bashing things shaped as basically a wooden stick with a large metal cylinder attached on the end. The he equipped his armor in separate pieces but he was doing it so quickly that the lights seemed to linger on him as the armor appeared on his legs first, then his body leading off to both his arms, since he was feeling like he was in a super sentai kind of thing he decided to show off and raising his hammer he brought it down on his shield creating a reverberating sound through out the bank. "As you can see I am a guardian so if we have to dive down I will be a little slow but I can still take whatever comes our way." he said with a confident look on his face, maybe he was trying to show off for the girl much more than he should have but it was already too late as he had done two things that he counted as showing off. Tali simply stood by and watched as her companion started to equip all of his various armors and stuff. He quickly surmised that this guy was a guardian, which caused him to cross his arms and give a questionable eyebrow to the guy. Obviously he was trying to be a bit of a show off. You know, impress the young ladies with the equipment and might, blah blah blah. And for that Tali couldn't exactly blame them. First off, if he had impressive equipment he'd want to show it off too. Second, yeah, even in real life he liked to dazzle the ladies himself. Still, unfortunately for the guy it had no effect on him, both for the obvious reasons and the practicality reason.
"A little slow? I'll admit I'm not an expert and the game might allow it, but as it is I'm more concerned about whether you'll even be able to swim at all. Armor that heavy you're more likely to sink like a boulder and drown," he said, giving a quick shrug before waltzing on over to the water.
"I mean you can try and see; this place isn't exactly like reality. But meanwhile, I'll enjoy the unfettered movement light armor provides," he said, teasing just a little bit about the superiority of light armor,"Although to be fair still not a fisherman, which would make this a lot easier. Courtesan abilities aren't exactly useful on fish and monsters after all," he added, wanting to make sure he didn't seem like he was picking on the guy too much.
With that out of the way he began to make his way into the water. It had gotten pretty chill again since he had last been in the water. But that was quickly rectified by getting in head first as soon as possible. Still cold, but it would help with getting used to it quicker. Till then, it was off to search for the treasure again. He felt he wasn't ready for this. However, swimming isn't a problem for him since he learned how from his parents when visiting a beach a few years ago. His scythe lies the problem as he is worried that the weight of his new scythe from the Lander's shop might complicate his attacks and skills underwater. Either way, since he heard some rumors of treasure chests popping into the depths of Thames Coastline, he possibly can't ignore it. With rare treasures and hopefully gold waiting, he decided to take on this quest not just for money, but for equipment to help him on his future battles. And despite how far the coastline is from Londinium, he isn't bothered by the distance as his legs need to move around a lot for energy. When he arrived at Thames Coastline, he noticed a river in front of him, seeing it made him realized why those rumors about chests underneath are true. "Now, the questions are how deep can I get into and how long can I hold my breath?" He then make sure his gear and his weapon are ready, along with a towel-like blanket to help him dry off. Also, after seeing the quickslot interface after tinkering with his interface a few hours ago, he puts one new skill he got from his previous level ups in his first set of battles. Sure, he knows how to fight without using the skill menu, but it never hurt to put a skill for emergencies. After that, Eniko then noticed two people near the water, which is a man and a woman. "Are they here for the treasure chests quest, too?" Thinking about it, this is one quest he can't do it alone for once. "I need all the help I can get, so maybe I should ask them to join them."He then approached the two Adventurers to ask them. Despite he's wary about strangers and suspicious people, Eniko felt that they are neither suspicious or dangerous. And despite his cold and serious look on his face, he then says in a friendly tone. "You make a good point but who says I have to go inside the water?" Eonis said with a smirk on his face. From another stand point he was being clever but in his head he was trying to go through many ideas to try to back up his bluff he saw another player walk up and ask them if he could join. Eonis really did not mind another player joining him and the girl as this appeared to be a special quest, from his experience it was the more the merrier so they may encounter more objectives than usual due to the size of the party. "I don't mind if you join matter fact I would be delighted, My name is Eonis if you were curious." he said to the new arrival with a smile. After the sentence he stretched out his arms and sheathed his hammer in to his sword, he walked over to where to the bank of the river and sat down with his legs crossed and his hands on his knees in his attempt to wait for something that dwells underwater to come within his sight so he may use his animal trainer ability. After swimming a few more minutes Tali was sure he had saw a chest or something, but he found herself barely holding onto what air he had. With no other choice he returned to the surface, breaking through with a gasp. He respected the other boy’s decision to stay on land, even if it was such an obvious attempt to try and save face. Still, he doubted it would hurt too much if he stayed there. Who knew when he would try and rush back to land after being chased by a sea monster. So far, however, it seemed that the river was quiet.
Well, quiet except for yet another newcomer to the beach. Seemed there was another who wished to join them on the hunt for treasure. Well, he wasn’t going to ignore any help, although the more people the more treasure they would need to find to get a good split.
”I don’t mind either. Call me Tali, by the way,” he said, waving from the water while treading with the other.”And you’re just in time too; I think I might have found a chest! Might need a bit of help getting it up to land though. Are you able to swim?”
From the looks of it the boy was lightly armored; no sinking like a rock for him. The chest wasn’t too far down into the water. What was problematic was that it was stuck between some rocks, and between trying to swim, pushing rocks, and freeing the chest, well, he was an arm or two short. Tag: Eonis @eniko

Eniko still kept his serious and cool expression, but he felt excited he can join him. "Good, I don't have any subclass to help with diving, but I hope my Tracker skills can help underwater." Then, a woman emerged from the river, which Eniko made a little nervous. "Is she with Eonis? If so, I'm glad there's not only one." Then after she saw Eniko with Eonis, the woman named Tali is also happy to have more company and explained that she found the chest underwater. When she asked Eniko that he can swim, he knew that choosing this class was a great idea. Although he's equipped with leather armor, he knew he can swim without any problems. Except his scythe though as he worried about the weapon's weight. "Yeah, I can swim. My name is Eniko and I can help you out with the chest." He then approached Tali when he stepped into the water, with his serious expression still in tact. "But there's one problem. You see, my only weapon is my scythe and I'm worried that it might create problems with my swimming due to the weight of its blade. Is it okay to bring it along with me?" He knew bringing it was a bad idea, but seeing that a monster could pop out in any moment, what choice does he have? ”Eh, it’s better than the hunk of metal standing on the shore,” he replied to the boy’s question, teasing his other companion just a bit,”We seem to be a little more physically fit in this world so I think the scythe should be fine weight wise.”
It seemed a fair thought. Most of what people had been able to do since arriving here were beyond normal human physical abilities, which made this whole thing a lot more fun. Besides, he had his sword and dagger with him, and who knew what kind of beasts were down here. Granted everything seemed calm right now but, eh, things could change in an instant.
”So come on already, get in here and help me out with this chest.”
Excited to see what kind of goods there were in the chest, Tali dove in without waiting that much. The chest was still in the same spot that he had seen, but his eye caught the sight of something off to the side. Apparently luck was on their side today as yet another chest was off to the side just a little ways. Even better it wasn’t lodged into something like the other one, just safely down on the river floor.
With that in mind, then,Tali swum back up to the surface to inform his companions of the find.
”Hey, got another one, and it’s not stuck in something this time.”
Who knew where the other chests were going to be, but even getting two was pretty exciting. Hopefully with enough time they’d be able to find another and split this an even three ways.

Eniko was surprised at what Tali said. Sure, he wondered how his new body got some enhanced strength or something, but he was relieved about his scythe not having problems underwater. With that in mind, he again dozed underwater after Tali jumped in and quickly helped her carrying the chest back to the surface. When they are done, Eniko decided to rest for a minute while he wait for Tali as she doved into the river once again. "Hmm... I wonder how we'll split the treasure anyway. Maybe I should leave that decision to Tali when we're done."When Tali came back from underwater once again, he was informed along with Eonis about another treasure chest. "Another treasure chest? That's amazing!" Not waiting for Tali's answer, Eniko dove in to check on the said treasure chest below the water. When he saw it, he was surprised that Tali's words are true. Eniko then swam back to the surface to call Tali as he waved at her. "Tali, I'm ready to help you on getting that another treasure chest!" He then doved right back in to try to hold to the chest while waiting for Tali. "I know I'm rushing, but with these chests' weight, Tali won't able to carry it alone." But as he tried to wait for Tali, he became worried if monsters might attack him or her if they carry the chest back to the surface... It didn’t take too long to get the first of the chests out. There was some difficulty, but between the two of them it was freed in no time. After lugging it up to the surface to be opened later, they took a quick break before making the decision to head on back down for the other one.
So far everything about this treasure hunt had been rather easy. In fact, Tali was starting to find himself a little nervous that it was too easy. A chest just sitting in the middle of the river floor was rather suspicious too. The promise of treasure and possibly better equipment, however, was too much to resist. If this was a trap, it would be worth springing…hopefully.
As the two approached the treasure chest, in a nearby cave hidden by rocks, several creatures began to swim out to see just what it was that had decided to enter into their domain.
Hey Eniko, does something about this feel off to you? Tali said through the telepathy as he reached the chest.
Before he got the chance to touch it, however, he spotted a pair of these fish people things swimming in their directions. What were they called again, Sahaugin? They looked on the smaller side, probably younger ones, but it was still a troubling issue. Especially with the point spears aimed right at them.
There wasn’t going to be time to fight them and getting the chest, and getting the chest now would be too dangerous. Quickly grabbing out his dagger, Tali began to try and make his way towards the surface. Reaching out to his ear, he contacted his companions to warn them.
Uhm, Houston, we have a problem. Got a pair of Sahaugin after me.

Eniko followed Tali's lead as they dove into the waters of the river again to get the second treasure chest. But when they do, Tali informed him via telepathy that getting the treasure chests seemed off for him. He didn't noticed anything at first, until he realized she was right. When they got the first chest, they didn't see any monsters around. "Hmm... No monsters when we got the first chest? Could it be a trap? Or maybe..."
But before Tali can reached the chest, she saw a pair of fish hybrids about to charged onto her, realized the danger she now faced as she shouted via telepathy, "Uhm, Houston, we have a problem. Got a pair of Sahaugin after me." He heard Tali's warning as he took a closer look at the fish hybrid monsters' HP bars before he headed to the surface to get some air. "Those monsters are named Young Sahaugin and they're Level 4. I'm Level 5, so I might able to defeat, but as for Tali..."
He quickly dove into the water again and swam to Tali as he hold his sheathed scythe tightly while hold his ears with his other hand. "Tali, can I defeat those Sahaugin for you?" Eniko said to Tali via telepathy. "Those monsters are Level 4. I might just able to hold them off to get that chest back to the surface."

Level 4 huh? Hmm, it would probably be safest to let him take the lead on this fight, but that didn’t mean he didn’t want in on some of the action. The bigger problem was they were in the water and, well, it wasn’t exactly their element. For the Sahaugin though this would be a walk in the park.
”Hmm, yeah, you take point, but let’s try and lure them up onto land. They got the advantage in the water, higher leveled or not.”
Since he was already pretty close to them Tali found himself being attacked by one of them before Eniko got to him. Dagger alright out, he quickly dodged a thrust from the spear before plunging his dagger into the monster’s arm. It didn’t do much damage, but it distracted the monster long enough to give him a chance to start swimming away. The fact that he made sure to buff up the attack with the Death Stinger skill before doing so would help. Even at this very moment he could see the monster squirming around as the poison worked its way through its system. The Sahaugin probably felt like it was burning from the inside out or something like that. Tali didn’t actually know what the poison from the buff felt like. Not that he was in a rush to figure it out.
In any case, as the monster squirmed, he made his escape. Passing by Eniko he gave him a quick nod before pointing at the monsters.
Just poisoned that one so it should be distracted. See if you can take the other two out in the process or bring them to land. Going to get air and come back and help.
The two other monsters would soon be upon Eniko, and Tali used that time to get back to the surface for another breath.

After Tali informed Eniko that she poisoned one of them before she can returned back to the surface. However, she also told him that he need to either eliminate them or bring them to the surface as well, which he felt it was appropriate since fighting underwater might be their advantage. "Right. I'll see what I can do here, Tali!"
He pulled out his scythe from his sheath to start fighting against the Sahaugin. But he knew he only have limited amount of air left, so he have one option. He quickly tried to push one of the fish hybrid monsters up with his scythe, hoped that he can flick them to the surface. However, it tried to fight back as it bit Eniko's arm, but he endured the hit as he thought, "Accel Dance!" With his mind's limits temporarily removed, he swung his scythe like a bat and slashed the Young Sahaugin before he pushed it to the surface. When they did, Eniko wasted no time not only to gasp for air. but also made his next move as he used the staff part of his scythe to push the monster back to land before landed another blow to it with the scythe's blade. And since he is now able to moved normally on land, he made a few slashes to the Sahaugin before he shouted out, "Quick Draw!"
Flicking his scythe like a bat once again, Eniko landed a final blow to the fish monster. Unfortunately, it's not enough to completely defeat it. However, when he saw it's HP bar, which he might have guessed it gone down to 10%, he had a feeling Tali might finished it. "I'm managed to weaken that monster down to critical! But I need to go back underwater, the poisoned Sahaugin might have get an advantage if I don't do something!"
With that said, he quickly dived in back underwater to deal with the last Young Sahaugin.

Tali made it to shore as Eniko surfaced in his battle against one of the Saughin. It didn’t take too long for both of them to get back onto land, though he kind of got there first. An advantage when one wasn’t fighting for their life. Once back on land he made sure his dagger was still on him and surveyed the situation. From the looks of things Eniko had pretty much taken care of the Saughin that had followed them onto land. It wasn’t dead, but it was close enough he could deal with it.
”Just be careful down there alright; angry fishpeople probably aren’t fun to fight in the water,” he said, a little teasingly.
Looking over at the monster, he gave a slight smile. He didn’t know what it was, but since entering this world he had to admit there was a certain thrill to battling. Sure there was terror to, slightly diminished by the knowledge they didn’t actually die, but that didn’t lesson the excitement. He even twirled the dagger with a little flourish before charging the monster.
By now his skill had enough time to recharge, so he made sure to put up the Death Stinger buff as he moved towards the monster. With a guttural roar it started to stab towards him with it’s spear, but the fluid movements of an assassin allowed Tali to sidestep and twirl away. Taking advantage of the twirling for momentum,Tali stabbed the dagger right into what he assumed was the monster’s throat. The bloody gurgling the monster gave was a sign he was probably right, and it’s death solidified it.
Standing proudly, he contacted Eniko.
”One down on my part. How about you?”

Back underwater, Eniko swam back to approach the still poisoned Sahaugin with his intention to eliminate it. He gripped his scythe tightly as he raised it up high and with his eyes completely focused on the fish hybrid monster, he quickly thought, "Quick Draw!" With a quick flick from his scythe, he managed to get a clean hit on the monster. However, it made it more angry as the Young Sahaugin charged to Eniko. However, with the poison still in it's body, it kept flinching in pain as the monster's HP bar continued to decrease and increase. "Looks like even if you have the advantage underwater, the poison Tali gave you might give you some problems. Now to defeat it before my oxygen or the poison in the Sahaugin runs out."
Fighting off the movement delay underwater, Eniko made 6 quick slashes to the Sahaugin with his scythe, which 2 of them are dodged or missed. And despite it's HP bar are glowing red, the Sahaugin stabbed Eniko's arm with it's spear while it tried to bite him on his hips. But not wanted that to happen, he used his free hand to "clicked" onto his quickslot before he thought, "Accel Dance!" With a burst of speed, he managed to shook the Sahaugin off by spinning before he made a fast attack on it. "You are done!" He quickly thought before he quickly swung his scythe in a downward slash, which sealed the Young Sahaugin's death as it exploded in items. "I knew that skill in my quickslot menu was useful after all."
As he grabbed the dropped items from the monster, he heard Tali's voice in his mind, which she told him that she took care of the remaining Sahaugin before she asked how he was in his end. "Don't worry, I managed to defeat the last one. I'm going back up to meet you there. Got the treasure chests?" As Eniko asked that question to her by telepathy, he than swam up to the surface and then to land to meet Tali and Eonis once again.
