((If anyone would like to join me here please feel free to send me a PM. :)
This thread started as a solo thread and I would like to open it up to invites. Anything after this first post is no longer a solo thread.)) Invited: Balore Kittygrey
Eyes closed, Lavinia's ears pick up the unexpected sound of a city square, the rustle of footsteps, voices and the singing of birds. Her slow easy breathing through her nose sends signals of grass trees as she slow opens her eyes for the first time in this world. Shock and amazement is the emotions to surge through her body as her brain processes that she is no longer in front of her computer. She feels the breeze kiss her cheeks and her hair tickles the tip of her nose. Reaching up and brushing the hair away from her face she tries to calm herself down and figure out what is going on.
Lavina takes a slow deep breath as she looks at the city around her; "Okay, just calm down." she mutters to herself. "Where am I? What happened?" echoed around in her head as she stretches her left hand out towards the sun looking through the gaps in her fingers. "It's warm..." Lavinia whispers, this is when she realizes her arms are bare. She looks down at her body, lifting her her left leg up balancing on her right as she examines her outfit and realizes she is wearing the outfit she designed for her character in Elder Tale just what seemed like minutes ago. "So, I'm Lavinia now? Okay, now what do I do?" she asks herself as she takes the grimiore from her hip, slips the clasp off and thumbs through the pages. She makes note that only one page has anything written on it. Attaching the clasp back across the grimiores leather cover and then back on her hip Lavinia takes a better look at her surroundings.
The young Summoner looks at her surroundings with a sense of wonderment as she walks through ruined city she has found herself in. Many other people who she assumes are players like her litter the streets displaying all manner of reaction to becoming the adventures that they presumed they'd be playing as. As Lavinia walks past the angry, scared and even sobbing people she examines the user interface that seems to always be within her field of view. So, this is the user interface Mike told me about. she thinks as she reaches out with her left hand and pokes her name on the interface. Activating the interface causes Lavinia to jerk her hand back slightly in surprise. "Cool..." she says aloud as she pokes other portions of the interface navigating through its menus. As she walks tinkering with the interface Lavinia pays less and less attention to where she is walking and walks straight into the first step of the old parliament building, the falling to the ground. Catching hers fall on her right forearm and is surprised to feel some pain when she hits the ground. Slightly scared by this realization, Lavinia quickly gets to her feet and takes a moment to brush the dirt from her arm and clothes. She looks to see what she tripped over, her cheeks slightly red from embarrassment and finds herself standing in front of the ruined remains of the Parliament building.

Most of the people in Londinium were acting as expected from an event like this. People were scared, confused, and simply wanted to go home to their families. There were those like Balore, however, who were enjoying themselves more than they ever had back in the real world. The very fact that he could move by the power of his own two legs was intoxicating to him and made him ignore the other negatives that came with the catastrophe. Since it all started he even took the initiative to try and make a life in this world.
Flying down the street at full speed, the large knight seemed an oddity to those around. For such a massive wall of metal moving down the street, he sure didn't lack that much speed. The people of Londinium dived out of his way as he went for fear of being bowled over. Who could blame them as Balore seemed to be in such bliss today that he hardly took notice of the people he almost trampled. In fact, the only reason he stopped at all was because there was a smaller figure directly in his path that he finally took notice of.
Coming to a halt, Balore looked down at the girl with a passive gaze upon his face. His bright blue eyes seemed to pierce the very soul of the person he was staring down, and for a few moments he examined her. A summoner huh? He had only encountered one of those once before but he found that he was interested in their play style. She also seemed to be thumbing through which meant she was still in that state of shock and awe. He had learned earlier on that the interface was only good for your inventory or social aspects as in combat it was useless for using skills.
"Uh.. hello." he said as he blinked down at her. How did you introduce yourself to the person you came seconds from trampling? "Are you new to Elder Tale?" he asked with a kind tone of voice that suggested he was willing to offer his own advice to her.

Lavinia is reading the tooltip for Evaluate when she hears a mans voice close by that seems to be directed towards her. Looking in the direction of the sound she sees a tower of plate armor and the man wearing it. The breeze blows Lavinia's bangs back into her face covering her icy blue eyes as she looks up at the Guardian. Looking from his boots up to his face the guardian's height make Lavinia slightly uneasy and makes her feel very short in comparison. The words reach her lips before she could stop them "Wow, your tall... and handsome" she whispers as she brushes her bangs back behind her ears looking briefly at the floor while she does it. Hoping to recover from her verbal blunder and embarrassment Lavinia tries to direct attention away from it "Oh, hi. Yes I'm new." she replies with hurried tone and friendly smile. Looking up at the guardian she cautiously extends her left hand out and pokes the air in front of him targeting him. She looks over at the information panel and asks "That symbol, your a Guardian right?".
"I wonder..." she says before letting the man respond. Curiosity getting the better of her after reading the description for Evaluate, she then slowly moves her left hand over towards the spell list like someone who is unfamiliar with using a computer mouse. She pauses her index finger over the Evaluate button and then tabs it activating it, her pupils flash for a second then return to normal as the Guardian's information display expands showing the information Lavinia has no clue what any of it means. She tilts her head to the side as she looks at this new information trying to make sense of it then looks at the Guardian's eyes giving him her full attention.

It didn't take him long to realize what she was doing, everyone usually did it. There was a small smirk on his face as he let her quietly take in the size of the man in armor. He wasn't so tall that it was overwhelming, but tall enough that he often found himself looking down. When he built his avatar he wanted to give off the presence of being a tank and he figured this was the way to go. There was a chuckle when she mentioned his height, that was of course what he was used to.
The second bit made him cough and sputter however. She was quiet but he still made out just enough to put the words together. Laughing, Balore rubbed the back of his head and blushed a bit. "Uh, thanks, I think. No ones ever said that before." he said. He had never been told something like that before considering his state in the real world. No one usually gave him a second glance and so he never really knew how to take such a comment. He supposed that if he had a bigger ego his head would have inflated but instead he remained quite humble about it all.
"Well if you're new you might want to consider checking out some maps of the area. It's usually best to get your bearings and then go out and gather some experience and gold." he said with a bright smile. "In a while I plan to head out and do some farming myself." he added, pointing to himself with his thumb. He often wore a toothy grin that seemed a bit goofy in appearance but it made him easily approachable. At least she had a better grasp fo things than others though as her question showed.
Balore nodded his head quickly, slapping a hand on the shield strapped to his left forearm. "Yep! I prefer to fight on the front lines and put myself between the enemy and my friends." he said rather proudly. "You're a summoner, right? Pretty cool class, I have played with one already. Super cool that you guys get your own pet!" he said, recalling the man with the skeletal warrior. That made him curious as to what her summon was but he figured he might find out in time.

((Types this up on my phone so expect mistakes. :) ))
"Map, You mean this thing? Lavinia says as she taps the mini map on her interface. As the map opens she sees they are in the kingdom somewhere, she sees blue rivers through out the region and the villages and settlements that are spread throughout. "I will figure this thing out later. she mutters to herself with a slight tone of agitation at her ignorance at reading maps. "This whole interface thing is kinda confusing. It's either obvious or I don't have a clue." Lavinia comments laughing as she says it.
Lavinia imagines being the one to stand in between the monsters and her allies. She conjures up an image of a giant wolf like creature with large fangs and red glowing eyes. "That must be dangerous and kinda scary. But I guess that is what that armor and shield is for. So then in a group it's your job to protect someone like me, while I try to kill things before they kill you, right? I think I'm right." Lavinia says in a manner that says she's working through the thought in her head as she says it and finds herself laughing at her own uncertainty.
Confuses by the Guardian referring to her summons as pet, it takes Lavinia a moment to put two and two together. "Pet?" she asks confused then it clicks "Oh! You mean my golem summon. Yeah, it sounds cool, but I don't have a clue how to use it or if it'll be any good. I think it's supposed to be like you and protect others, but how strong could it really be? Then also wouldn't it make more trouble if we're in a group?" she asked hoping the guardian would have the answers. Lavinia imagines a orchard of trees with golden coins sparkling in the sunlight "Farm? Like you can grow gold coins on trees or something?" she asks thinking that couldn't be right, it just doesn't make sense.

It was nearly impossible not to smile at her when she mentioned the mini map. Balore was never the type to belittle someone, he just found it amusing how new she was to the game. With that statement he decided that he would spend the day helping her get used to how the world works including the combat system. For a new adventurer the system took a bit of getting used to as the menu made things slower and clunky if you relied on it. In this world doing everything manually was the way to go for sure.
"Don't worry, in no time you'll have it all down. The interface is all but useless in this world except for the social window for your friends and your inventory. The combat relies more on actions and feeling the skill or motion." he explained with a bright grin. At the very least he would offer her comfort in that aspect. When he had first started trying to gain experience he used his menu to fight and was a bit too slow to react to the things going on around him. Better to pass on the information now and save people some trips to the cathedral.
Once more with an exciteable thumbs up he smirked and even chuckled a bit. "Yep! That is exactly right! I make sure to absorb all of the damage while you guys try to burn down the monsters health points. It's a dangerous job but someone has to be brave." he said. He took pride in doing what he thought to be a service to others. It was scary actually being in the world now and standing face to face with a dragon or a goblin took some fortitude for sure.
Her last question was a good one but she had the wrong idea about it in his opinion. "It can cause problems depending on the encounter or the mindset of the tank. I personally don't mind having something else tanking an extra mob. That is damage that I don't have to worry about." he said with a toothy grin. The final question however almost floored the knight as he slapped his armor leg plates and it echoed loudly. "Haha, no, no. Farming as in repeatedly hunting monsters to collect their drops. It's just a term used by adventurers back in the real world." he said. Was she that new to MMO's?
"By the way, I am Balore. That is my in game name. How about you?" he asked.

Lavinia didn't really have a clue how green she was to a world like this, she could take a guess and probably figure the majority of it out herself but the guidance from Balore sped up this process considerably. "I guess its pretty obvious that I dont know what I'm doing here." she says as her gaze drifts down to the ground near Balore's feet. "I've never played an MMO before." she says looking back up at Balore. "It is overwhelming but your right, I'll get the hang of it. I was actually supposed to play with a friend, but I decided to get on earlier than when we planned. He was going to show me the ropes." she says with a mixture of guilt that she started without him and hope he isn't stuck here.
Lavinia contimplates Balore's words of encourgement and guidince for a moment as the concept of manually triggering abilities rattles around in her head. She imagines herself striking various spell casting poses, the ones she remembers from the intro video when she created her character. Acting out our spells, like from the intro video? Well that could be interesting. she says. This new concept of using spells and abilities makes sense in Lavinia's head, but it can't be that simple. If her life has proven her one thing, its nothing is simple and if it looks simple its really not, "But it can't be that simple, it never is.".
Surprised by the intoduction from Balore she rushed to reply; Oh! I'm sorry, I'm Sa... she says trailing off. She looks up at the portion of the interface and reads her in-game name. "I guess I'm not Sarah here, I'm Lavinia.", "I'm Lavinia. Nice to meet you Balore." she finally says with her same friendly smile.

Considering that she was very open about her skill level, Balore felt that he had to assist her. Then again with what he had in mind it would not be such a bad thing to get in other players good graces. Ever since he got the game he had it in mind to become a guild master but to do that he needed two other active players. Once he had that he would be free to register his guild and recieve the benefits that came along with it. This was not the only reason he helped, though it was an incentive, he was just generally a decent person.
"That is unfortunate. I don't mind hanging around to show you the ropes for a while. I have nothing better to do honestly and it would give me a chance to chat. I haven't stopped to talk to anyone much since this all started." he said. When he thought about it he realized that almost no one seemed to be very social at first. Everyone spent every waking moment trying to figure out how to leave or to progress forward in the world of elder tale.
Balore took note of her doubt when it came to the mechanics of the game. There would be quite a bit to overcome there if she wasn't able to snap herself out of that mindset. "Don't worry, it's easier than it sounds. I'll show you, though I guess casters might have a harder time than melee." he admitted as he rubbed the back of his head. He wasn't sure how much help he could be to a caster but he was determined to see her succeed.
Opening the party interface, Balore smiled at her with a charming grin. "So how about it, want to join my party?" he asked as he hovered over the invite button. He also supposed that he should add her to his friends list so that he could use the games telepathy which was the main form of communication over the games vast lands.

Ame found herself walking, once again, to the old parliament building. It wasn't as though she had been playing for a long time, in truth, she had only been here for a day, but this was the first spot she had been to, aside from the first battlefield, the Windsor Greatwoods. She still felt a little uneasy at this game, especially because what she had read about it, nothing had said she would be thrown into a strange world that actually feels real. She shivered at the thought, but she was starting to deal with it. She felt that maybe she was dreaming or something. 'But if you aren't, what's happening in the real world? My body..' The thought made her stop without realizing it. She tuned in again and found herself opening her eyes. She hadn't realized that she was just standing there with her eyes closed, but the thought was to deep. She shook the thought out of her brain and looked up. She was standing out front of the old Parliament Building. 'When did I get here?'
She looked around, seeing two people standing out front and tilted her head slightly. The man had his interface open and there was a girl standing in front of him. 'Maybe they are joining a party together?' She was interested in parties, mainly because she was a cleric class, and basically needed other people in order to be able to go into the higher leveled areas. She was only a level one and figured she wouldn't be getting to level ten extremely soon, but she couldn't find level one young pitted boars forever, and she had nearly been killed by a level 3, even with her reactive heal. She nodded her head and began to walk over. "Hey there!" Her voice was a soft yell and she raised her right hand in a waving motion to them as she paused, standing in front of the pair with a smile, and a slight tilt to her head.

Lavinia looks up at Balore doubtfully and unsure "You sure you don't mind? You said you wanted to go farm things. Until I figure things out I'll probably just slow you down." she says. She realizes shes inexperienced but also realizes that this is one of the only safe ways of getting experience. She could do it solo after all she is at her best when shes alone, however one piece of wisdom her foster father told her several years ago rings through her head "You may work best on your own. But the success of the individual is a reflection of good team work." he told her. She didn't really understand this until later in her life and now is one of those times where it is true. "Strong team work..." she mutters reflecting on the words of wisdom, "Sure, why not, we'll do better as a team." she replies with a smirk of confidence even with her own doubts about her skill. Thinking about how someone like Balore and Lavinia would work together in a party, Lavinia runs several possible ideas through her head. The first would let Balore attack first then send her golem in to aid in whatever damage it can give. "How would do you plan on this working? You go in first then I send the golem in to aid you? I don't have any other spells so I only get to twiddle my thumbs while your in danger until I unlock something else." she asks with a tone of voice she hasn't used before. The tone says Lavinia is focused, serious and ready for almost anything. Hearing a soft "Hey there!" Lavinia turns her head to see the girl waving at her and Balore. The girl looks older than Lavinia, but who doesn't out of the ones she's seen so far. The girl doesn't look over the age of 20 and to Lavinia looks really pretty to Lavinia. She looks to be slightly taller than Lavinia and the fox ears is interesting to Lavinia. She has this sudden urge to touch them but subjugates the urge. Targeting the girl, her class icon looks like a large and a smaller heart. Despite being unfamiliar with this symbol and the class it represents Lavinia guesses its some kind of support from the symbol alone. Being unfamiliar with things to the level she is in this world Lavinia decides to let Balore make the greeting to this stranger. Word Count: 412 Tagged: "Balore", "Kittygrey"

Such hesitation to explore her possibilities in this world first hand. It was hard not to wonder if she would be one of the adventurers who hid in the city and never left. Silently pondering that for a moment, he realized he was staring for a long while. Blinking, he smiled briefly before his face shifted back to a more passive gaze. "You'll have to learn sometime, right? Since I do not belong to a guild I have no real deadlines to meet other than the ones I set for myself." he said with a shrug.
It only took that and a few minutes for her to decide to change her mind however. Balore was pleased to learn that she would tag along on his experience farming trip, he could definitely use the support. Even if she had no real offensive abilities just her presence and her summon could go a long way. He was always more fired up when he had someone he felt that he needed to protect.
"Exactly as you have laid it out. I will draw the initial aggro and then you send in your summon. From there the two of us should be enough to handle any monster. I welcome the challenge of fighting for the monsters attention." he said calmly. There was once more his signature toothy grin as he turned to regard a new voice. Someone decided to come over and speak to them.
Everyone was a potential new party member to him and so he made sure to put on his most welcoming expression. "Hello!" he replied with enthusiasm. "Wonderful day, is it not? Perfect for exploring the world around us." he commented as he adjusted the shield that hung from his left forearm. "We were just discussing a trip into the Greatwoods." he explained.

Ame looked up to the man, studying him momentarily. He was quite a handsome fellow and it made her tail glide lightly behind her. She felt her cheeks get hot, knowing that they had a touch of pink to them at that moment and she let the thought slip from her head. She nodded to him as he spoke. "Yes, quite the lovely day indeed!" Her smile was wide and she turned to look at the girl standing beside him as her ears twitched lightly. "A trip to the Greatwoods? Planning on gaining some AP?" She asked them the question already knowing their answer as it was obvious. Who went to the Greatwoods for anything else, really, unless, perhaps it was a date of sorts? She couldn't imagine them going on a date, no one had been in the game long enough to really make a love connection or anything, right? She shook the thought out of her head. 'No, definitely just gaining AP.'
She looked back to the male, figuring he would be the party leader and tilted her head. "I don't suppose you could use a Cleric, could you? I'm finding it pretty hard to gain AP on my own, so I'm looking for a party to join." She figured they would be a good team to join as there was two of them. She knew by the build and armor of the gentleman that he was a gaurdian, but the girl she had a hard time deciding. She thought perhaps she was a magic class, hopefully not a cleric. It was rare to see two clerics in such a small group and doubted she would be invited to go along if she was. 'Perhaps a mage, or a summoner then?' She smiled down at her, wondering about her. She had been interested in the summoners class when she was reading the descriptions, but her gaming experience led her to become a cleric.
Ame noticed that she stood only a few inches shorter than herself, but she still seemed petite. She found the girl to be rather cute, and hoped that they could become friends. She had joined the game anticipating new relationships, ones that she was unable to receive in her real life, and knew that this could be a chance for not one, but two friendships. "I'm KittyGrey, it's nice to meet you both!" She smiled widely to the two of them and found her hand up in the air as if she were waving at them.

The words Balore says next banish Lavinia of most of her current doubts and pushes them aside to be replaced by curiously, and interest. Those two things are all she needs to get something done. "Guilds are just like a group of players who like playing together right? What kind of deadlines could they have?" she asks Balore having no clue what could he mean with a guild and deadlines. Balore's words of agreement with the plan gets the gears turning again, "I need some sort of backup weapon. Something I can use to save mana or when I don't have anything available to use.". She imagines all sorts of combinations that would go along with her grimoire and none really seem to fit, a sword might work, maybe. Hearing Balore comment on how wonderful the weather is, she couldn't help agreeing. Looking up at the blue sky with the warm bright sun warming her face as the cool gentle breeze cools it off. Mentioning where they are going to be going gets Lavinia's attention "Greatwoods?" she whispers and opens her map and searches for this area Balore mentioned. Lavinia looks up from her map and sees the girls reaction to Balore's appearance. It kinda reassures her, not being the only one, and she finds it amusing. Being glad she has the map to hide her giant smirk behind while the two talk, she notes the girl said she's a cleric but this doesn't help Lavinia know she's a healer. After searching through the map Lavinia thinks she found the Greatwoods Balore mentioned. Taking her left arm and elbowing him softly to get his attention "Is this where you mean?" Lavinia says pointing to a spot on her map. Hearing the girl introduce herself Lavinia decided it's not wise to be rude and not answer. "I'm Lavinia, a Summoner." she replies looking up from her interface with her traditional friendly smile. Word Count: 321 Tagged: "Balore", "Kittygrey"

If anything was true in this world it was the fact that Balore was absolutely oblivious. There was nothing to fear when it came to their blushing as he barely noticed since no one ever did in the real world. When she replied to his comment he smiled at her and moved on to the main task at hand here. This girl knew exactly what he was after when he mentioned the Greatwoods and so he thought it would be nice to have another along that could assist the two of them.
It was made even better by the fact that the other person was a Cleric of all things. "Yep! You can never have enough in this world it seems. Plus I could use a bit more gold, I am saving up to test some things with the crafting system." he said. He wanted to become a salesman in this world also, building things that they did not have in great supply here in Londinium.
"We could in fact use a Cleric. You're exactly what we need!" he exclaimed, perhaps a bit too enthusiastically. It seemed that for once his efforts were paying off and everything was falling in to place quite nicely. Bowing to the new person, who's name was Kitty, he raised a brow. "It's nice to meet you, Kitty. I am Balore." he replied.
It was then that he would turn to Lavinia to answer her question about guilds. "You're right again. A Guild is a group of people who share the same play style or goals. They also have the right to purchase guild housing, a personal headquarters for everyone. It's so cool.." he trailed off, sounding like a complete dork. "Some guilds set a leveling quota to keep their members active. Others are relaxed and don't care so much. Just depends on the players." he explained.
When she pulled out the map he also nodded once more. Pointing to it he smiled once more, something he almost never seemed to stop doing. "Yeah, somewhere around this area there are a bunch of level one monsters. They should do nicely for this as we don't need to overwhelm ourselves." he said with a laugh. "Do you have any previous combat or MMO experience, Kitty?" he asked.

Ame nodded her head to Balore with a wide smile. She was happy to be accepted into their group and would wait for him to invite her to the party to be sure he remained the leader. She let a small blush enter her cheeks as he said her name and then said, "the pleasure is all mine! I look forward to fighting alongside the both of you!" She smiled widely as she spoke to them but began to listen carefully to Balore's explanation of guilds once Lavinia had asked him. She nodded her head, knowing what guilds were, though in her experience in MMO's, she had not ever joined in a guild, though she was making it one of her number one priorities in this world, especially being trapped here, possibly forever. She wanted to create strong bonds with the other players, and eventually have a guild house as well, though she doubted she could make her own guild, and make it work., being a cleric guild leader was probably extremely hard.
She remembered Balore saying something about crafting. For hers she had chosen the chef crafting skill. 'I wonder if he would know anything about crafting as a chef. Probably not.' She decided and would leave her questions for later, instead of just jumping into it right now, they had other things to accomplish first. The other games she had played didn't allow crafting skills, not major ones anyways. The one she had played just allowed you to craft anything, but here, your crafting skill was a main focus, aside from your actual level or the role playing level. All she really knew was that you had to buy materials from the shop and eventually turn them into something you could use, that was her problem, she was unsure of how to turn them into certain materials. She also had no clue to what kinds of food she could actually make. She had searched for a recipe guide in her interface, but had failed at finding one. Oh well, she would figure it all out eventually.
She looked to Lavinia. "I had you pegged for a summoner, either that or a mage." She smiled to her. "It's nice to meet a summoner. I was interested and almost chose that class as well, but, cleric is my thing, which leads me to your question, Balore." She smiled as she paused for a moment. "I do have experience, though it's fairly little. This one is far more intense than I could have ever imagined, especially compared to the ones I've played. I was never apart of any guilds though, so I'm very interested in joining one here. Once you have yours started you should send me the details, if you'd like, that is." She stood smiling still. She was already enjoying her time with the two and really couldn't wait to see them battling. She wanted to see what a summon looked like, and she was sure she would be intrigued by Balore's fighting style. She would wait for them to lead though, since they had been there first of course.

Lavinia actually chuckles at Balore's excitment at the prospect of guild housing from behind her interface. Closing it, she looks up at Balore with curiosity "What can we put in the house? It must like back in the real world, so pretty much anything we desire. Like crafting equipment or musical instruments?" Lavinia asks either one of them. While the crafting equipment would be useful Lavinia's real interest was the potential for her to hear music again, which she already missed, oh so dearly. She then wonders how much something of this size would cost, must be a small fortune for just the basics she concludes and then wonders if Balore will set any leveling quota. "Probably not..." she thinks, but Lavinia doesn't know Balore that well. Balore mentioning crafting makes Lavinia wonder what these two have picked for their crafting and roleplaying class. Lavinia picked Scholar and Pharmacist, she thought the extra info from Scholar would be helpful, but that was as usual a lucky guess. Pharmacist was a gamble, making potions and tablets to give beneficial effects, no one knew if they would be worth it. Luckily with the catastrophe players can make their own potions and pills and Lavinia has some ideas for that. "I picked Pharmacist for my crafting class, what about you two?"Lavinia looks at Kitty curiously, "Cleric?" she asks having no memory of the class this girl is playing. Lavinia was never really one for idle chatter, especially when someone else was around to chatter for her. Listening to the girl show interest in joining a guild with Balore interests her. Lavinia regrettably thinks she wouldn't mind grouping up with two good looking people and she blushes a bit. "Unfortunately, I dont have any combat experience at all. I dont even know how to summon my Golem yet. I haven't had the chance to try. Balore said he'd try to help." Lavinia tries to inform Kitty. ((Page two! It was strange to find himself surrounded by female players now. In the real world he never got the time of day, yet there were two of them and if he wasn't so eccentric he would have no idea how to process that. Smiling brightly at Kitty as she expressed her hopes, he did his best to contain a cheer. It was nice to find players who were on the same page as you were. Players who wanted to band together and succeed in a way that was considered just. A lot of players went out into the wilds to PK others and the thought of harming another player did not sit well with him.
"Hopefully it will be a long and fruitful partnership between the three of us." he added with a thumbs up. Turning his attention back to Lavinia, he smiled down at her. The questions were endless but he liked feeling useful. As a future guild leader he knew that this was his role as well as gaining the confidence to become a "Commander" and lead his members in raids. "You can put pretty much anything you want down in a house. Since this is no longer just a game, there are no longer restrictions on what you might place." he replied, giving some thought to that.
Honestly he had never thought much about his crafting skill since he woke up here. His crafting skill could be used for a great many things, including fixing up the city. "I'm actually a carpenter. I could build a house from scratch, I think. I can even fashion the furniture for a guild house so I imagine it will be some what cheaper for us to furnish one." he said as he suddenly pictured himself in a flannel shirt. Shaking the thought from his head, he tilted his head to the side and smiled.
"As far as my role-playing class goes, I am a Cavalier. I have the ability to ride and fight from the back of a mount." he said, swiping his thumb across his nose and grinning. He thought that skill would be the coolest of all and so he picked that as a no brainer. How could would he be as a mounted, armoured knight riding on horse back?! "That is what I aim to do next, actually after we farm. I need to find someone who can hunt and tame a creature for me to ride." he said. Realizing that he had dragged on for quite some time here, however, he decided it was best for them to move on.
"Of course, I will be sure to do that as soon as I work out all of the details." he said as he opened his interface. Putting his finger over kitty's name plate, he dragged her into his friends list, and then into the party frame which would send her an invite to the group. "Let's head out to the Greatwoods and practice our skills a bit. We'll see what we can do and figure out what we need to improve so we can go out into the world and explore new zones." he said with excitement. On that note he turned to leave, assuming the other two might follow.

Ame nodded at Balore's words with a small giggle 'Long and fruitful, indeed.' She continued to smile as the pair before her spoke to each other. She found herself listening hard to their conversation, as they perhaps would join a guild together. She wondered why Lavinia had asked specifically for musical instruments, perhaps she was a music lover in real life. It was cool that there were no constrictions on anything you could put in your houses, but then, would there be no restriction for what you could cook? She tilted her head as she looked to Lavinia. "Cool! So you can craft potions and things like that right?" Then she looked to Balore, and her eyes widened. " Well, you can fashion us a guild house and some furniture, Lavinia can make us cool potions and I suppose, as a chef, I'll make the food!" She smiled widely and clapped her hands together, just once, but in a happy way. She nodded and heard that Balore had continued.
She turned her head to the side and held both of her hands behind her back, but still kept an eye on Balore as he spoke. Her ears twitched slightly and her tail wagged smoothly from side to side. 'Wow, Balore is really cool!' Her cheeks were a blush of pink now, as they had been for the majority of the time since meeting the two here. She thought about in the real world, where she would have never just gone up to two random people and tried to make friends. She was always a shy girl, but here, she wasn't herself, and she found herself even acting differently, but then again, that was why she had chosen the cleric class, because she wanted to meet people, she wanted to be apart of a team, and it was a great chance for her to come out of her skin.
Soon, she heard Lavinia's soft voice and looked to her. "Oh, I'm sorry, I should have explained. A cleric is a major healing class. I can't do a lot of combat on my own, though I can deal damage, unlike most healers." She brought up her interface and selected her staff. "I chose the staff as my weapon because I can deal damage with it, but more so because it increases my healing abilities, along with my race. The fox tail allows a small increase to my abilities as well." She smiled and put it away. "I should mention my ability while we're on it though. It's called Reactive Heal, so what will happen is when I cast it on you, it doesn't heal you right away, instead, when you get hit, it activates itself and heals you then. I used it the other day on myself, and it was really cool! I can't wait to show you!"
Her smile was wide as she looked to Lavinia. As soon as she saw Balore open his interface, hers popped up in front of her with his party invite and friend request. She clicked accept and then added him as a friend as well. "A little advice from one magic user to another. Start by using your interface to activate your skill. That's the easiest, and somehow, once you use it, you'll just know how to activate it without the interface. I don't need to open my skill menu anymore, I just kind of felt what I had to do." She knew that it sounded weird, but it had just happened for her. She hoped that once Lavinia saw her activating her Reactive Heal, she might get an idea of how to summon, though she knew the classes were different, and it probably wouldn't happen the way she activated her own skill. Then she looked to Balore with a nod and said, "lead the way, boss!" She chuckled a bit, but would turn as well to follow him.

Balore's words about putting anything in your house excites her "That is cool." she said grinning. If she was ever in a guild that had a house she is definitely going to fight tooth and nail to get at least a piano now. This news made her incredibly excited, she missed music so much. "So you can make housing stuff and you food. Cool." she said aloud not really speaking to either in particular. Lavinia wonders how fighting on top of a horse could be useful and she doesn't really come up with anything but what she's read in history textbooks about the medieval ages. Trusting Balore's judgement, Lavinia dismisses the idea. Kitty mentioning she's a chief instantly made Lavinia hungry, she was always a girl who could eat as much as there was to eat, however she didn't so she wouldn't gain weight. There was a exception to this rule, her favorite food, cheese burgers. Lavinia nods at Kitty "I didn't really know what what to pick. But I got a few ideas I want to try out, you'll have to wait and see what I come up with." she says smiling. She had ideas for potions to turn your skin to bark increasing your defenses and many others, she just didn't know if they were actually possible. Kitty being a healer was good, even Lavinia understood that much. It would allow the group to take on more difficult enemies and not worry about dying so easily. Lavinia listened to Kitty's words intensely, she had more combat experience and thus this could be incredibly useful. While Kitty's words made sense, although she didn't want to use the interface at all as soon as possible. "I see..." Lavinia replied to Kitty as she thought over the words. As usual she figured she'll work it out when the time comes. Listening to Balore excitement about their next adventure Lavnina just nodded in compliance and followed the two figuring they'd know the way.
