TIME TO DIE CODED BY SYLVIE Years of academy training, wasted. Not really, but this was growing incredibly problematic. The scene was still a lazy one - the sun was moving down, painting the sky red and skimming down the light across the rooftops. In any other setting, this would have been quite scenic and beautiful - except for the stench of the dead body, rotting away on the street. The yellow tape was stretching across one side of the street, and one of the lone living figures was busy taping off the other end. With an exasperated sigh, she cut off the tape as it sufficiently wrapped around one of the deployable cones. "Oy, Bastiel. Can we clean up the corpse yet?" A grunt of disapproval from her current partner. Excellent. Seems like our dear police officer would be here just a tad longer. With her own grunt, she spun on her heel and looked back over at the cadaver in question. On first glance, it looked like someone just pushed the victim off of the building above; given the area and the high rate of Spec Death, however, they had to give it a full investigation before the scene was alight with activity. The last thing they needed was more Specs to show up. Officer Tsubasa Saito had no time to deal with Specs and their tomfoolery. As one of the powerless, she was always uncomfortable around those Colored ones. Then again, she didn't need to bother with magic powers to kick their asses - that was always satisfying for her and the rest of the vanilla officers in her unit. Someone had to specifically deal with metahumans, and they were the ones to do it. "Let's just chalk it up to a drunk accident and move on. This district gives me the creeps and I'm sure there are some hustlers we can arrest." Saito could only turn and give a serious look towards the multitude of angles someone could approach from; and two people near a dead body and a pool of blood would draw some attention. --- Please ask me before joining. Thank you.

Vaan made a dash behind a nearby building, holding his ear. Said ear had a bluetooth device, where he was talking with his boss from. Apparently, a Red had been killed in the area, and Vaan was sent out to look for the remains of the person. Their method and cause of death were still blurred in their field of vision, and they had no real way of telling how or why their ally was slain. All Vaan had to do was figure out who it was that murdered, and how the Red died. Nothing more. Although he was a newer member in the smallest Color organizations in the city, he still didn't know the guy. Was never introduced to the guy, nor was he ever given a name. Even now, it was still up in the air. The Boss only referred to the dead man as "the body." Nothing more, nothing less. Vaan had no other alternative but to follow orders. Being low on the food chain sucked, but it was something he had to do.
"Right, I'm at the site." Vaan spoke into his headset, and nodded. He took his hand away from his ear, and observed the surroundings for just a moment longer. This alleyway wasn't very well populated at all, so not many people were around to rubberneck and look at the dead body. Just a few police officers on site, and maybe a passerby who just happened to look at the tape, and turned the other way. Vaan would need to make his entrance soon enough, but he first checked to see that his gun was concealed, and only the sheath of his katana was visible. After that, he would walk over and speak to the officers. They probably wouldn't take very well to him, since he was a Color, after all. Either way, this was just how his job was going to go down. Vaan turned the corner, and spoke to the officers. "Pardon, but I'm here on orders from my boss to look into the situation. Hope you don't mind my intrusion, but the body there is one of my group's." That should suffice for an introduction.

Noble had arrived at the scene later than intended. According to the time line he was given he was supposed to have a good fifteen minutes before any sort of police force was supposed to arrive. All I was told was be here and clean up...~ he sighed, nervously adjusting the strap on his Purple glove. Police were not included inside the orders. None at all. Hell, the only reason why he was even the one in command here was because it was his district and the last guy under him never returned from a job a few weeks back.
Reaching into his jacket Noble pulled out his cell and flicked it up. Report the situation and wait or act? Frankly neither sounded particularly appealing to the young man as he stared at the digital screen for a moment. Assuming he just had to get rid of the body meant he just needed to grab it and get away right? He mulled it over in his mind, peering around the edge of the wall back at the scene, when he noticed a Red make contact with the police.
“Son of a bitch!” he swore under his breath, pulling his gas mask over his mouth before pulling the pin on a smoke grenade. No time left to debate, the body needed to move. Now.
Tearing out from around the cover of the wall and breaking for the body, Noble pulled the smoke from the grenade in his hand into the space around him to obscure his figure. Grab the body, sling it across shoulder, and dump it where it won’t be found. Then bail.~

TIME TO DIE CODED BY SYLVIE Look at what the neeping cat dragged in. Perfect. Just what she needed to complete this molotov cocktail of a migraine forming between her eyes. Saito squinted at the guy as he walked up - not a trace of restraint, it seems; most people tended to circumvent crime scene tape in order to get a full view for their curiosity, and yet here this guy was, coming up and practically introducing himse- Well, shit. He said the right words to the wrong person. Saito looked the guy up and down in slow passing, taking a step forward and keeping her right foot first - mostly to show off the automatic firearm holstered by her side, with which her thumb lightly rested on the butt. A SIG P230 - a standard for the force - and more than capable of denting a person in the wrong ways. "Considering the corpse over there is likely one of the rainbow monkeys ruining my career, no, you can not have a look. In fact, you and I can just go and get a better look at the alleyway if you'd like, where we can talk about your boss." Her dear partner let out a warning cough - the usual from him when she was going too balls-deep into her street scum threats. Frankly, she didn't care. This punk in front of her might as well be one of those mother nature freaks, and she wasn't going to give him any leeway into her life and her operations. No, this body wasn't going anywhere with some yellow or blue bellied, spoiled, snot-nosed kid from the superpower culture club. It was staying right here, with a potential second body to match if he tried anything. "Oh you are SHITTING ME." The pop-fizz of smoke entered the area - not just a billow of smoke, but a whole person-esque cloud of the shit, moving in a way that defied the wind. It was one of those purple pissants; toxic players in the game that tended to make messes. Deciding that the kid who had greeted her was a much lower threat, she vied for bringing up her pistol as her partner did, taking aim and barking out her orders. "Aim for the center!" Pop, pop, pop. A trio of fire from both guns sent forward, wasting no time normally spent on a regular civilian. She hated using this damn thing, but it was what she had to even a playing field. --- Please ask me before joining. Thank you.

She hummed a soft tune as her motorbike rode through the streets, sliding around corners until she started to come up on the location, soft bits of smoke billowing out from the somewhat powerful silvery motorbike. Her jet black helmet wasn't a giveaway either, but the purple embroidery around her leather jacket and ribbon in her silvery hair might give some people a little bit of a suspicion. The engine revved as she jumped through a yellow and turned the corner, parking her bike and hopping off and retrieving the coffees from her storage. She had gotten a call to deliver, and without anyone in the shop, it didn't bother her much. Taking her bike out for a ride every so often was nice, and she never had to do smog checks either~ Setting her helmet on the handle and shaking her hair out, the Chinese woman walked towards the location, coffees in one hand and small map on a napkin in the other.
When her eyes alighted on police tape and cones, her stride slowed. Uuuuh... Someone was ordering delivery to... was that a body? She blinked slightly, eyes alighting on Vaan. Oh good god, that guy was here too. Okay then. She slowly, timidly stepped forward, a rather demure and gently expression on her face as she held the coffees out in front of her. She got about 5 meters from the two officers and Vaan before a sudden plume of smoke erupted. That was... smoke didn't act like that. What was happening? And then gunshots. She dropped the coffees in surprise, spilling one of them across the ground near her, her body somewhat stuck in place. What had she stumbled onto? It wasn't that she was automatically afraid of guns, but... Well, dealing with her was like dealing with two different people sometimes. There wasn't an enemy. She hadn't gotten herself involved. She had just been delivering coffee and now she was stuck. Running from the scene would be bad, she knew, so she kind of just stood there, eyes flicking to her motorbike parked several meters away and focused on the presence of the keys in her pocket.

Vaan was about to draw his own pistol, when the cops had already begun firing at the haze nearby the body. He ignored the fact that this female cop over here was fairly prejudice against Colors, and focused more on the haze. Vaan blasted a wave of fire over towards the haze. This may have been the cause of his comrade's death, but he wasn't sure. He was also trying to get this cop to get on his side. The wave of flame dissipated quickly, though, since he realized that it was a purple there. He turned to face the police officers, and noticed the girl from the coffee shop was over there. He decided not to say anything to her, since she probably didn't want to get involved. But, she dropped the drinks she was carrying, which caused him to worry a little. Two purples in the same place. They outnumbered him in the way of color, and outmatched the officers greatly. Vaan drew his hand back towards his katana, but didn't pull it out. He had no idea if the coffee shop girl and the new purple were working together or not, so he needed to be careful. Just let things unfold on their own, for now.
