Level 1 Monk Chef Apprentice [attr="class","shirabar g"] [attr="class","shirabar b"] | After a day of beating up cows for Gentipede food, Aura went off to have a nice relaxing drink at the pub. As the blonde monk walked through the doors, she noticed a certain drop in the amount of people who come here. Frankly, there was nobody around at all. The bearded man, Bornholm, who runs the place looked a little bit annoyed. The expression on his face looked like he was just robbed, kicked in the shins and spat on. Being a regular, Aura knows all too well what happens when you tick the old man off. Unfortunately for the old man, that did little to hamper Mavis’ rambunctious attitude. “Wow, business is simply booming today, Holmey,” she said with a smirk on her face. “I won’t be entertaining you today, missy. Bloody disloyal scamps have had enough of my brews and took off to a new pub run by scantily-dressed barmaids,” replied the old man while slamming his fist on the counter in outrage. “Bet you it’d be a good idea having one of them “scantily-dressed barmaids” in here, too. That’d brighten up the room.” “Ha. Ha. I don’t suppose you’re up for the job.” “Nope” “Thought so. Now just finish up your drink and be on your way.” The barkeep poured her the usual: a big ol’ mug of rum, brewed manually giving it that taste that delightfully comes with it aroma. Too bad there was no television or any entertainment in this pub; no reason for her to be staying other than drinks and she didn’t want to go home empty handed. Still, it is a little bit early. Maybe she could bring home some wine, a few cakes and have a nice warm bath or she could go skinny dipping in the pool at Shira’s place. By that point, she finally noticed that the bottle of rum that the barkeep poured her drink from was half empty and yet, she didn’t feel all that hazy yet. Well… maybe a little bit... Just a teeny tiny bit. She heard the sound of the door swinging open. One or two people may have walked in to have a drink, as well. Bornholm had a peculiar expression on his face; like he was enjoying the small victories in life. Aura thought the place needed to be more lively but with so few people around, she didn’t think that was possible anymore. Maybe if she could convince Shira into a nice, exotic dancing attire, they could get a few lovely shows every once in a while. She smirked at the thought and took another gulp of alcohol. That was definitely one thing she was going to keep in mind. |
