Outdoor activities, huh? Ah, how much she had hated them in that far away place and space, her body back there really did not fit such things, too much bouncing and jiggling, too much staring and comments. Having a slender body instead was quite an advantage over that and weel worth the hours she had grumbled over the character creator and coloring her coloring Nisha. Ah, it was always nice to see how she could go along as a background character most of the times, grey and pale as she was usually blending right in. Ah, it was nice to not be noticed all the time, even though she sometimes felt a pang of loneliness, in the long run she might want to change some features, but for now she was quite contend. Just as she was now, she had traveled to the great forest after hearing a rumor in a tavern, normally nothing of her concern, but for a scribe it would be highly interesting, also she was not too sure if no one else had heard it from the group of people who had waltzed through and had boasted how they had found it. A library in the woods, hidden in a hollow tree and filled with books to the bursting. Nisha just hoped they had not vandalized the place, if she hated one thing it was what ignorant people sometimes did with such things, destroying just because they did not understand the true value of knowledge or just had no idea what to do with it and stole it to -Nisha shuddered- sell it to some scrupulous collector or something. Rushing along and not minding the monsters along the way, just outrunning them or if they came to close giving them a slight tap to remind them not to get closer, also known as iaido-ing them and moving on to the next step as if nothing had happened. Rinse and repeat, not even really taking in what she saw, weirdly many adventurers and people around training and getting ready for whatever the world might throw at them. Breathing in and out of breath at the same time, she came to a sliding halt in front of the huge oak. Huge as in broad, it was not a towering thing exactly but more of a flat house, stretching quite some and making Nisha wonder if it was even possible for an oak to be like that. Shoving the thought on hold, she stepped closer and smelled the air, taking in the tasty tastes in her nostrils reminding her of books. Or so she had thought, but no moldy paper or anything, just the fresh smell of leafs and forest, and yet she could almost feel it palpable in the area, books, or at least pages written full with stuff. Wrinking her forehead and leaning around the door, which was little more than a mansized hole in the tree, she peered in. And what she saw made her gasp a little in surprise, hundreds of books linked up on shelves, several writing tables... and everything was leaf shaped, not only the tables and furniture, but even the books, which looked like... no way. Nisha stepped closer and picked one up. It was made of leaves and scribed on with what looked like colored treesap. Nisha sighed and began to read in the leafbook she was holding, it was an interesting one and yet nothing she could really use right now. Absent mindedly she began to wander around and look for something she could use, feeling like maybe picking up research on contracts or something like that again. It was a wonder this bok storage was not more popular, but then again the books seemed fragile and Nisha did not know if she would allow anyone without as delicate hands as her into here without stern instructions. The thought about who might also be in here or who owned this did not even cross her mind. | Notes Word Count 477 Rihn was on a mission, when isn't she these days, to find a special sanctuary that has been lost to the ages. It's said in the old Druidic scrolls of her village, that many ages ago a group of Druids known as simply as The Dawn traveled far to find a place to safe guard the knowledge they posses. These Druids specialized in healing magic, the group was tasked with healing nature after a catastrophe, like a unnatural forest fire. Because of the power these Druids wielded there were very few of them at any time and screening process to even begin training was grueling. Currently only one of these Druids is still alive, the Elder from her village, and he was the one who tasked Rihn to find the sanctuary.
It wasn't to hard for Rihn to decipher the texts that described the sanctuaries location, even though her peers have been trying for decades. It also didn't take her long to get there, the Elder had copied the text and sent to her at the Inn where she stayed, saving her a long trip home. Walking through the forest the druid comes upon a huge oak tree, anyone could see it was unnatural, but only a druid or one familiar with their magic could see it was made by a druids hand. She walked up to the oak and placed her hand on the bark and continued to walk towards the entrance dragging her hand across its rough surface. Rihn couldn't wait to see what was inside.
Crawling through the hole for an entrance Rihn enters the marvelous structure and her jaw drops when she sees whats inside. Walls upon walls of books, the smell of paper with untold amounts of druidic knowledge on them, and they were all leaf shaped, this includes the tables, chairs and everything else. "Wow..." she whispers and walks around gawking at the sight before her. Walking around Rihn, rubs her fingers over the table, the back of the chairs and then walks over to a bookshelf and carefully pulls a random book from it. Opening it she admires the handy work, while fragile, the book is still solid in its creation, despite the materials used. Taking note of where she retrieved said book Rihn begins thumbing through the book skimming its pages as she explores the structure. This place really was a wonder and the book is rather interesting as well, but as she walked she turned a corner she failed to notice the person she is about to run into. Running into this person and knocking the book from Rihn's hands she startles and looks down as the book falls to the floor. "Oh... I'm so sorry!" she says to this person, blushing and looking at them then quickly bending down and retrieving the precious book from the floor. Code by Neun of ET. Artwork from Alchemical Meister. |

Speaking of delicate hands, she seemed to have found someone who fit that quite well, even though she was absentminded, she did look at the girls finger for a moment as if still in thought about it. Reflexive and already regretting it as she felt the slight bump as they walked into each other. Not the kind of crashing shown in anime or movies, there were no plain breads or grocerys involved either, all was good. About to bow down to pick up the book and see if it was still in one piece, Nisha saw that the other girl had already gotten to it. An elf judging by the ears, well, if Nisha had not loved the idea of having tails so much, she would have definitely taken at least a half alv as well. It fitted the idea she had about her character much more than a foxtail, but tails... Anyway, feeling it was rude not to say anything, Nisha wanted to start talking, but for a second wondered if talking normally would be allowed, after all, even though small it was a library. It was ingenious how they had fitted it into this tree though, every corner was well used and the leaf shaped design did not get in the way, the seats even looked like they would be soft like a real leaf if you sat on them, some kind of magic most likely keeping them from withering and making them strong. But then again, this was a magical world with magical properties, so little wonder there. Well, since no one else was here and the cute girl had already talked in a normal room voice, Nisha would do the same. Even though she felt like it would disturb the books, once she had found a research topic, she would definitely also find out how these books worked, it was fascinating. Smiling at the shorter girl, Nisha had the weird urge to touch her ears, normally she could suppress it quite well, but they looked so nice and squishy on this one, maybe just, her eyes wandered from her eyes to the ears and back... "Uhm, hi, no worries, nothing happened, are you okay? How about the book? They must be pretty..." Nisha gulped and noticed that her tails were twitching with curiosity, slowly snaking around and wagging, same with her left hand which had already moved toward the girls head, sheesh, acting as if brushing off some dirt, she 'accidentally' touched the ears as well and felt the softness. Ah, this game was really awesome and had become even more so since they were caught in it, the feeling was exquisite. Noticing she had stopped mid sentence, Nisha quickly added to it, not taking her hand away though, but trying to focus on the girls eyes. "Ah, sorry, you got something there, oh, right, they are made out of leaves, I wonder how that works. Are you here often? I heard it was deserted, did not expect to meet someone else." Well, she said so, but with all the loud boasting of the group of adventurers, she would not be weirded out if she found some people in here already. It was a treasure trove for scribes in the end and Nisha planned to use this library some times, if only to relax and read in this weird fashion, finding out what was written on leaves and maybe who wrote it. Maybe there was a trick to it or some special lore. Argh just thinking about it filled her curiosity bar to the max, now that she had access to these ears... books, she meant books, she could definitely satisfy her curiosity in squishiness. Moving her hand to the other side, she wondered if the other ear was just as interesting as the other one. It was weird, but they felt so natural, just like Nisha´s tails, ah, she would never stop wondering about this beautiful game, would she? | Notes Word Count 379 Rihn blushes and smiled as she listened to the fox tail speak, Rihn was glad this stranger wasn't mad over her... Absentmindedness at times. Then after a quick inspection of the book and it's soundness it appears to still be in good condition. "Oh yes, it's fine, apparently...." she says cut off by the stranger reaching out and caressing her ears. She freezes, holding her breath as the fox tail wipes dirt from her ear. Weather this was actually true or if the fox tail just has some sort of ear fetish will probably remain a mystery as our Druid here is, well, clueless. She closes her eyes and purses her lips as the fox tails hand gets close and touches her ears, blushing more and finally reopens them after what feels like an eternity. "Oh I see, thank you" she says smiling trying to cover the embarrassment.
Turning from the fox tail Rihn looks around the room still blushing a little as she begins to tell the fox tail what she knows. "This place has been deserted for a very long time, so no this my first time here. I have copies of old texts that you can look over if you'd like that explain in more detail what I'm going to share." she says walking over to the bookshelf where she retrieved the book she had and carefully places it back in its place. Turning back to the fox tail Rihn appears to have recovered from the ear fondling and continues. "The texts say, long ago a group of Druids were looking to store their knowledge from the prying eyes of those who would misuse it or their enemies. So they set out and created this wonder and wrote all the books here." she says finally done with this part of the explanation. Cheerfully walking over to the fox tail Rihn puts on a smile "I was asked to come find this place so the knowledge isn't lost and we can teach more Druids what knowledge is contained here. I'm Rihn." she says placing her arms behind her back as she waits for the fox tail to introduce herself, after all even if you can just look at the nameplates it's still nice to be polite, right? Hrngh this was just too fantastical and rivaled... well, it was good enough to consider it as such to be on the same level as the feeling of her tail. maybe she should research these ears instead, but then again, someone cute was attached to them, so the desire to do so was already pretty high and rising. Sighing she let go of the ears, quickly acting as if she had brushed the last bit away as Rihn moved away from her looking quite embarassed, which Nisha in turn found even cuter and wanted to tease her more. But not right now, apparently the other girl was here on a mission, which sounded a bit weird how she had worded it, but quests were sometimes like that, as if it was something the people in here were supposed to do and not instructions for adventurers. Leaning against a shelf, she looked at Rihn with crossed arms intently until Nisha noticed herself that she was staring at Rihn as if she was prey or something. Shaking her head slightly to clear her thoughts and not stare so intently anymore, Nisha wondered if she should say anything about the 'thank you' she had gotten, feeling slightly guilty of pretense and rihn being too pure to retort as it seemed. Well, if she did not say anything the situation would just go away anyway. Or at least resolve itself in their talking. Still, it was weird that these ears had attracted her so much, usually she did not care for them, adventurers came in too many shapes and sizes and colors to squeal in happiness each time someone new came along, but these were quite unique. Looking down at her hand, it still made that slight and gentle squeeze motion as if it was trying to remember the feeling. "Haha, sorry, I do not usually read the background info on places. But I see you did, ah, the manual for the game was so big I never really read further than page one and the encyclopedia in the london library is a bit too heavy for me. But really, just imagining that the programmer came up with all this stuff is quite amazing, even though I wonder sometimes if they referenced from somewhere. I mean, look at these decorations, quite awesome and nothing I would think a designer for a game would normally come up with, right?" Nisha chuckled and went on. "Oh, you have to tell me where you got that quest, never heard of it before. So I guess you are helping out your guild or something? My name is Nisha by the way, same username if you want to add me." Yes, yes, indeed, Nisha considered the girl standing in front of her an adventurer. She had not even taken into consideration that Rihn might be a lander at this point and did not expect her to be. But her walking up to Nisha was something else and tempted her again, those ears were at fault though she thought as her eyes wandered up to them again and she felt her hand and tail twitch all of a sudden. Usually it would not have been of any concern, but she had leaned against the shelf with only one leg, so all of her six tails suddenly moving had thrown her off balance. Falling toward Rihn, the only thing she could do was try and keep her head from smashing in the ground, feeling fabric on her head as she came to a halt and wondered if this was one of those wonderfully clichéd scenes you could often see in anime where the protagonist fall under a girls skirt... Not that she was either, a protagonist or really interested normally into what was beneath. Her tails were standing straight up as Nisha sighed and let herself come to a rest on the ground, all the sudden excitement having tired her out, a muffled voice asking: "Are you alright Rihn?" The weird part was that what Rihn would most likely see were the six tails that were bobbing around at eye height in rhythm to Nisha´s speech, as if they were doing the talking now. | Notes ^\\\^ Word Count 518 Rihn smiles as her blush and embarrassment starts to fade. Rihn had no clue what Nisha was really doing and actually believed there was dirt on her. Looking down at herself she examines her arms, torso, legs, twisting each part around so she can see and inadvertently showing Nisha almost her entire figure in the process. "Is there anymore, maybe I should go bath real quick. I don't want to get any on the books. I have no idea how I got dirty." she says with a giggle still looking down examining herself. Rihn was really that clueless, it would probably take some blunt direct comment or action for her to even consider what was really happening. Even if Nisha just came up and did such a thing, Rihn would still turn her down, maybe, but that is a story for another day.
Adventures talked strangely or so Rihn thought, they used words completely unfamiliar or ones don't fit into the conversation at all. But Nisha so far was the worst that Rihn has ever encountered, it was actually kinda funny. Looking at Nisha she smiled amusingly and laughed softly before she spoke. "I don't mean to offend, but some of you adventures talk so strangely. Background info, manual, programmer, add you, game... This isn't a game, I'm here on a important task." she said amusingly she continued before Nisha could reply or just gape at her for the evidence that she is a lander should be clear now. "I got this "quest" from my village Elder. I was told to retrieve the knowledge and bring it back home." she explains and smiles happily to Nisha, even if she's a bit strange Rinh did so far like her new friend.
This adventure was indeed strange, not that Rihn would notice anything out of the ordinary strangeness that is a adventurer. She looked at Nisha smiling slightly and she noticed Nisha kind of fidgeting with her hand and tail, Rihn was about to ask if she was okay when something else happened. All the fidgeting has thrown Nisha off balance causing her to fall forward just at the perfect angle so she lands directly under Rihn's skirt, thankfully face down. Rihn watches Nisha fall in slow motion looking down "Nis..." she starts to say but cuts herself off when Nisha's tails wiggle in front of her face startling the druid. Jumping and trying to take a step back but failing Rihn loses balance herself and falls on her rear. Unfortunately for Rihn, with the way she landed Nisha now had a full view of exactly what was under her skirt if the fox tail looked up. It took Rihn a moment to realize that she was giving Nisha the “window into woman's soul”, probably more than long enough for Nisha to get a peak. Once Rihn realized this she gasps and a sound equivalent to a mouses squeak escapes her lips as she quickly tucks her legs under her. Blushing heavily Rihn looks at Nisha "A-a-are you okay?" she says softly surprisingly able to smile at the fox tail. Code by Neun of ET. Artwork from Alchemical Meister. |

Ararara, this could be weird and it was definitely Nisha´s fault, no matter how you looked at it. Not only the falling, but also misunderstanding. Although it now made sense why she had been so fascinated with these ears, these weirdly naturally squishy ears, adventurers ears usually had at least a somewhat unnatural feel about them, as if they were not used to the ears they had now and were using them wrongly. But someone who was born or programmed with them would definitely know how to keep them squishy and nice. And then her talking with the girl, she had not even considered that Rihn was a lander, but then again, why not, it was not that weird an idea that one would appear here once it had been found by adventurers, right? Or maybe even only as a coincidence? No, it was more likely that due to someone finding this a quest line had popped up or at least some kind of script which had brought rihn here. Not that Nisha would have acted much different, she wanted to be immersed in this world and acting around landers normally was one of the big things she tried to do where others only saw npc.
They were too well programmed to be even called npc anymore, there was not only the normal stuff like them having jobs they went to everyday but even small events they took, growing up and such, it was quite interesting and maybe Nisha would take some time to observe them at some point to learn more, but right now she needed to make sure this would not get weirder than she had already made it. What with falling and seeing Rihn´s panties, but then again, this was Nisha... "Nice choice." She said and moved her hand to hold up a thumps up. Sighing at herself before chuckling and pushing herself up on one arm, lowering the thumbs up again, she stood up after untangling any skirt that may still stick to her hair or head before getting into a sitting position, wondering and already having one hand at her skirt to show Rihn hers, but then again, Rihn seemed like someone who might not appreciate that all that much and then again, it was not like Nisha would do anything to her anyway, so instead, she closed one eye, looked at rihn with the open one as if trying to solve a difficult puzzle and then stood up in one swift motion. "Do not worry, I did not see anything." Nisha said and winked with her open eye at the elven girl. Then extended her hand toward Rihn to help her up if she could stand up, some girls got weak knees when they fell and Nisha was not above carrying her princess style to a chair if it came to that. She had weirdly little inhibitions normally around people, as long as they were not in a bigger group of people.
"Milady? Might I help you up? As for the stuff I said before... Let´s start over, mind telling me more about your clan? Might come to visit you some time if I can and you don´t mind. I have far too few lander friends and hope you could become a friend of mine." So she said and sincerely hoped for a good answer, hoping she did not startle the lander girl too much to scare her off with her own brand of trying to be funny and excited. Really, sometimes Nisha wondered why she stumbled into these kinds of situations so easily and always hoped they would turn out somewhat okay. As they usually did, but she never rested on that since she was too much of a fidgety person to actually do that. But still, Nisha had decided she would not apologize since that seemed even more rude, apologizing before something happened was like an attack to make the other person feel bad about even thinking of blaming the guilty person. Nisha would take the full brunt of what she did and live with it. One way or another. "Oh, right, I am quite fine, nothing happened aside from maybe dust which seems abundantly around here. But then again, better here than on the books or inside of them."
