With a strong right blow, the green slime was sent tumbling back a couple meters, leaving behind a trail of ooze as it skid across the fallen leaves on the ground. After putting some distance between her and the slime, Sophia swung her sword again but this time to rid it of the slime's ooze that was clinging to the false edge of the blade. Green droplets flew off her sword and rained down over the grass and other various greenery around her. While she did this, she kept her eyes trained on the slime, which was slowly, but gradually advancing toward her. And she was ready for it. She held her sword behind her and raised her shield up, and changed her stance. She tried as hard as she could to visualize hotkeys inside her mind and the skills that were placed onto them. As she was beginning to focus, a bluish glow began to layer over her shield. And with a mighty yell, she screamed, "Shield Smash!" And before her mind could register what was happening, she sped at the slime, which was just barely a meter away, and crash into it with the full force of her womanly frame. Her attack popped the slime like a balloon. When it did, it's gooey remains painted the entire front of her shield and the armor on her legs and feet, in a fine green color.
Triumphantly, she raised up her shield and smiling large and wide. She could see that her training with Oxford was starting to pay off, She was no longer as timid in battle as before and was getting better at using her mind to perform her guardian abilities. But she knew she had a long road ahead of her if she wanted to improve on her fighting. She felt determined to get to a level that would allow her to explore more of this world with ease. And maybe, just maybe find a way back home. As much as she liked this world, It's been too long since she has last seen her family, her husband and son. What were that doing while she was gone? How much worry has she caused them? It was those thoughts and such others like them that kept her motivated through her training. Since that wasn't the first slime she slew today, she began to feel some fatigue. She looked over at her status icon in the corner of her vision and saw that it was almost half gone. She decided that now would be the best time to take a break. She walked over to the nearest tree, it's branches bare, and laid down on the fallen leaves that encircled the tree. The cool autumn breeze softly whistled in her ears. She found it soothing. She felt her eyes getting heavier and heavier. She was teetering on the edge between consciousness and unconsciousness. She felt like she could fall asleep any moment. Her eyes were already more than half way closed.

The blue-eyed, wolf hair excitedly left the Westminster Abbey for a day of adventure. Perhaps some kind lander should have advised her to take a bath first and replace her pink bear pajamas with something more adventuring-friendly, like a suit of armor perhaps, but they knew better than to question her taste in fashion- or lack thereof. Caerbannog was wont to wear whatever it is that she wanted to wear, and she was also inclined to boldly go anywhere that she wished to go to. But today, despite her usual antics that sent her to weird quests, Caer was merely out to gather some mushrooms. And no, they were not of the hallucinogenic kind. Due to her blacksmith crafting class having reached Level 90, the wolf hair considered switching back to being a chef. She had a lot to learn and it was her first choice anyway, so it made sense. Blacksmithing was only taken up due to necessity. However, the samurai did not want to be distracted to much from her next goal: Level 90 Animal Trainer. So for the mean time, she was more inclined to just look up the better raw ingredients than to actually cook anything.
Caerbannog soon found herself out of the city, on the main road that connected Londinium to other prominent parts of the land. Perhaps it was due to the cool weather in general or the chilly breeze that blew against her nose every now and then... the samurai soon felt lethargic. She walked a little way apart from the main road and headed for the quieter part of the woods. It seemed to have been recently cleared of mobs for the underbrush was strewn about here and there. Amongst the ruined bushes, Caerbannog knelt close to them to look for telltale signs of mushroom or any other kind of fungus. Or rather, if she was going to be technical about it, Caerbannog was looking for specific fungi that had mushrooms. A piece of fungus that lived above ground usually had shelves instead of mushrooms; a fungus that lived underground though tended to grow the recognizable caps and stem-like bodies known to the populace as mushrooms. She was careful enough to avoid death caps which resembled mushrooms that her grandparents used for their many recipes back when she was in Japan. Toadstools, which mostly were poisonous types of mushrooms, were avoided as well.
In her search for edible fungi, Caerbannog came across a bare tree that seemed to have shed all of its heaviness to prepare for winter. At the base of the tree, there was a person- whether she was an adventurer or a lander, that was uncertain at that point- and so Caerbannog did the most logical thing to do in that situation. The samurai leapt into the air and did a mini-cannonball dive onto the pile of leaves as she yelled "GERONIMO!" The landing hurt quite a bit for the pile was not as fluffy as she expected, but a treasure trove was revealed to her when the leaves flew up into the air.
"Mushrooms!" the wolf-hair shrieked in glee as small button mushrooms were revealed at the once-hidden tree base; her left hand nursed the bump on her forehead, courtesy of the cannonball dive.

Before her eyes could fully close and before she could drift into slumber, she was brought back into the waking world by a yell within distance of where she was laying. Awake, she rubbed at her face with her hand. Only to be reminded that she was wearing her gauntlets, when she felt the coldness of the iron plates, chilled by the cold autumn breeze, against her cheeks. She flinched at the cold touch of her own armored hand. At least was she fully awake now. She lifted herself upright and sword and shield at the ready believing that someone might be under attacked, and looked around for where the yell originated from. It wasn't until then her ears picked up on the sound of leaves being ruffled that she found them.
It was a little girl, looking no older than eight years old, and was wearing what looked like pink bear pajamas. The moment she locked eyes with her, she was mesmerized by her cuteness, until looked down at herself and realized that she still had her weapons out. Not wanting to scare the young girl away, she hastily threw them behind the tree she was laying under. There was an audible clank as the sword and shield fell on top of each other when they landed behind the tree. "Um, hi there!" she said to the young pajama wearing girl, smiling warmly at her. She be out playing with the leaves like any ordinary child, this reminded her of how her own child would play outside on an autumn day such as this. And just like this little girl, he would hop on top of piles of leaves that were shed from the trees, sometimes she would help him make a leaf pile for him to jump into, and sometimes would even join in on the jumping.
"What are you doing here sweeti--OH!!" She stopped smiling and became worried when she noticed the bump the little girl was was nursing. "Oh no, you hurt yourself." she said, wide-eyed and horrified at the girl's injury. She hurriedly came closer to the poor thing and keeled down so she'd be at eye level. "Don't worry, I'll help." she said, smiling to assure the girl. "A bump usually needs a cold compress to keep the swelling down. Darn! I don't have a clean damped rag with me in my inventory... WAIT!" An idea begun to form as she remembered touching her own face upon awaking up. She looked down at her hands and smiled at them once she had the full idea on what she can use as a compress for the little girl's bump. She lifted her gauntlet off her right arm, leaving it bare. "You might want to move your hands a bit, sweetie." If the girl didn't move her hands away from her forehead, Sophia would gentility move them away herself. She placed the back of the gauntlet on the girl's forehead, the chilled iron should make for a decent cold compress for he bump. "I'm sorry, but this is all I have. I'm going to keep it from swelling OK?" she said, smiling softly down at the young girl, as if she were wordless telling her that it will be alright. "Where are your parents? Are they around?" she asked and awaited for child's answer.

The other person was in heavy armor and had a sword and a shield. Guardian, by the looks of it; then again it could be an irregular adventurer like the druid Scoria. Caerbannog was not one to judge other people about their equipment that at times made no sense for their class though... she was a samurai in pink bear pajamas after all. The wolf-hair just stuck with the first thing that came to mind and assumed that this lady was a guardian; seemed to be a human, so she went with that too. A human guardian tended to the bump on her head. Rather uncomfortable for a first meeting, but was she to complain? Her and her cannonball dive.
“My dad is in Germany,” was the samurai’s honest answer to the lady who seemed to be worried for some reason, “I got mushrooms. See?”
Caerbannog swiped a few of the fleshy things in her right hand and she held them up for the guardian to see. What were the mushrooms for? Cooking, of course. Her crafting class was currently set to blacksmith though, so she would have to save them for later unless she found another capable chef. The sensation of having such a cold metal thing pressed against her forehead made Caer wince, but her mind soon drifted back to the thought of having a nice, warm mushroom soup for dinner. Speaking of the cold, the woods seemed to be no good place for adventuring at the moment what with the temperature drop that worsened with each passing day. Londinium was almost like the real world London in that aspect and the samurai would not have to be a psychic to guess that nights in the woods were more unpleasant than ever.
“Hey,” the samurai stared up at the kind lady.
It was then that she thought to look up the other person’s information via the interface. The general information was enough because race and class did not matter to her. So her name was Sophia, a starting adventurer and she seemed to be guildless.
“I’ll adopt you,” Caer bluntly said without taking her eyes off of the guardian.
The wolf-hair then stood up, brushed the leaves off of her pajamas and took the lady by one hand while her other hand held a fistful of mushrooms.
“Let’s go! I’ll tell Ryuu-nii!” Caerbannog declared.
The samurai was patient enough to wait for Sophia to get ready, but questions would be answered once they were underway. If the guardian dilly-dallied for too long, Caer would gently tug at her hand; if the shield seemed too heavy, the wolf-hair would help hoist it up the lady’s back or free arm.

"Err? Um, Germany?" Sophie said, repeating what she had thought she heard the little girl had said. So this wasn't a Lander little girl that looked around eight years old, in pink bear pajamas, but an Adventurer little girl that looked around eight years old, in pink bear pajamas. But then another thought popped inside her mind as she thought further about her. "So wait, she is an adventurer like me? A player as young as this who is separated from her parents, her family?" Sophie began to feel a heavy sadness within herself as she looked down at the young girl before her and then at the surrounding monsters crawling about the field, which are fortunately far enough from them to not be aggro by their presence. "On top of losing her parents, she has to experience these very real monsters too?" As she felt tears about to free themselves from her corners of her eyes, she shut her eyes tightly to keep them from flooding out. She didn't want to cause the girl any worry or concern. As Sophie thought she had been through enough as it is. "I'm sorry, it's just the wind in my face." she said to the young girl, opening her eyes after she felt sure her tears weren't on the edge of leaking out anymore.
But when the young girl gasped her hand, and said to her 'I'll adopt you', it made her heart sank. She smiled warmly down at her and nodded her head in agreement. "Sure, sweetie, though that's normally said from the other way around." she said, with a soft chuckle coming out her lips. The girl pulled at her hand and was quite excited to bring her over to someone she called 'Ryuni', Though Sophie wasn't sure how the name was pronounced. But other than that, she was curious what this person was to this child. Was this person a friend, or were they this girl's caretaker? But before she would go with the young girl, Sophie remembered her sword and shield that she discarded earlier behind the tree. "Sorry, but I'll be right back." she said to the girl, before she freed herself from her cute little clutches, to retrieve her weapons and sheath them on her back. She would then return to the young girl's side, and with her bare hand take in the young one's hand, and let her lead the way to what she assumed to be her friend. Along the way Sophie turned to her and asked, "Is 'Ryuni', your friend? Are they a grown up or a kid like you?" and awaited for the girl's answer.

The guardian sure had some weird mannerisms and reactions; not that Caerbannog would mind such things, she was strange in her own way too. The situation did make the samurai wary about what she would say or do though. Pretty lady Sophia seemed to be the emotional type, as most women were, and because the wolf-hair was adopting the woman into Ryuu-nii’s guild then she would have to give a great impression. Maaaybe that cannonball dive was not such a good idea...
Once Sophia had her gear, Caerbannog led her back to the main road. They were on the way to Londinium where the guardian would be introduced to the rest of Aeryn. Adoption huh? Sounds more like kidnapping. Except that the target was not a kid- though she did have the gall to call Caerbannog one. Yes, Sophia did just refer to the samurai Caerbannog as a “kid”. This made the wolf-hair pull up a very sour frowny face.
“Ryuu-nii is a grown up!” the samurai then pointed to herself using her handful of mushrooms, “I’M ALSO A GROWN UP!”
Despite her insistence that she was an adult, Caerbannog’s actions did little to dispel the general perception that she was just a kid. The samurai stomped on the ground as she walked, clearly annoyed that she was referred to as a kid.
“Why is Ryuu-nii aaaaalways called an adult, HUH?” the wolf-hair continued to huff and puff as she walked with Sophia towards Londinium, “I’m almost as old as he is!”
Was it the pink bear pajamas? The huffy puffy attitude? The cannonball dive? The mushroom gathering? Caer could not help but wonder what exactly defines a “kid” and why she was usually called one. As the wolf-hair turned towards her traveling companion, she noticed some assets that her own body clearly lacked. Of course.
“Hey hey, you’re an adult, right?” the samurai bluntly asked the guardian, “What’s your boob size?”

Witnessing her pout her face and stomp feet around as they walked on the dirt path, Sophie let out a soft chuckle at the young girl's antics. She couldn't help herself, the girl was too darn cute in her attempt to convince her that she was grown up. She wasn't quite sure why children around what she assumed to be this girl's age, would want to grow up so fast. Her own son wasn't at the stage yet. At most he was curious of why adults need to drink coffee every morning, but nothing else other than that.
"Sorry about that. I didn't mean to upset you, sweetie. I won't call you a kid anymore, OK?" she said, smiling down at the girl, not wanting her to be crossed with her for the whole trip back to Londinium. As they continued walking down the dirt road, she wondered who this "Ryuu-nii" was. And was he treating this young girl right. She had found her alone in the Windsor Greatwoods playing in the leaves and gathering mushrooms, with wild beasts out and about. What kind of person would leave a child out on her own like that? She couldn't fathom the reason for this.
Remembering about the girl's bump, she looked over at her to check if she had the gauntlet she gave her earlier, on her forehead. However she saw that the girl was staring up at her, and at particular spot on her body. "Is something the matter?" she asked the pink pajama wearing girl.
“Hey hey, you’re an adult, right?”
"Yes, I'm a grown up!" Sophie answered back, with enthusiasm in her voice.
“What’s your boob size?”
"Wha-what!?"
Needless to say, Sophie was flabbergasted by the girl questing the size of her bust. Embarrassed, The blonde-haired lady's face turned into a light shade of pink. "U-um, that's not something you should ask in conversations!" she said, lightly scolding the girl, "It rude to ask something like that, it's too personal and it might upset other people. Do you understand?" In her thoughts she was worried what this "Ryuu-nii" person was teaching this poor girl. At least they were close to town, she would give him a piece of her mind.

Too bad. Caerbannog really wanted to know the answer to her question so that she could compare and figure out how much growing she still needed. Maybe she could get an appearance changing potion which would increase her height and bust size? Though curious, the samurai knew when to stop with the questioning, and most especially when people pointed out that she was being rude. The wolf-hair was a lot less worried about what other people thought of her, as compared to how conscious she was other their opinion when she started out. You’d think that it was caused by the difference in levels but no, it was all because of the booze. Caerbannog had gotten drunk one too many times and consequently did one too many weird things. If she had been worried about people’s opinion of her all that time, she would have gone insane already. So no, Caer was not so very conscious of people’s judgment anymore... but she was considerate of people’s feelings. Sophia thought she was being rude and too personal, so that was enough reason to stop with the size question.
“What’s nightly adult fun time?”
There we go. New question. For the record, Caerbannog had asked about such things before when she first heard it. She had asked her then-friend Kumori and he promised to explain to her what it meant, but the assassin never did. He either forgot or just changed the subject on purpose. For what reason, the samurai did not know. She was stuck in Elder Tale with no search engine at her fingertips, so the next best thing to do was to ask an adult who might know about it. Sophia fit the bill so she got that question. Londinium was soon in sight and the samurai was about to run out of awkward questions.
“I live in the Abbey now,” Caer pointed out to the guardian; she talked as if she had not just asked another difficult-to-answer query, “You can live there too!”

Once again Sophie was taken aback by another question by the pink bear pajama wearing girl. "Nightly Adult Funtime..? Is that what children are calling it these days?" Sophia thought upon hearing the young girl's question. At least this wasn't a too personal of a question like the last one. But should she be the one to tell this girl about the birds and bees? It felt wrong to Sophia to take away this child's parents' duty of explaining what "Nightly Adult Funtime" is. She herself certainly wouldn't want someone else besides her or her husband to educate their son about this kind of subject matter. "Maybe it would be best to keep it very brief, so that way her parents can still have their say about this." She thought, before looking back down at the girl.
"Ahem." she cleared her cleared her throat and breathed in deeply and then inhaled, as she tired to figure out on how to say it as biref as possible as to not give everything away. Um, nightly adult funtime is something that adults do when they love each other very, very much." There was a noticeable quiver in her voice and her face began to redden once more as she spoke. "Anyways... How's your forehead? Is it feeling any better?" She was still concerned over the girl's injury from minutes ago, if it has healed by now they could go and look for a cleric or perhaps buy her a healing potion once they got into town. Which by now, they were just a ten or so meters away from the main entrance of Londinium.
As the neared the gate, the girl spoke about living in an abbey and when she asked if Sophie could live there with her, she wasn't too sure on what to say about the offer. "You want me to live with you?" She asked, puzzled on how to respond. "I'm sorry, but I have a place of my own, well, not really my own. I just work as a live-in cook for the an inn in town." She paused for a moment, feeling guilty about having to say no to her, but then thought of another idea. "Maybe I could stay over, just for a little while, would that be OK?"

Oh the humanity! Ryuu was going to be in so much trouble? He didn’t even know it was coming! To think that Caerbannog would actually ask someone else what “nightly adult funtimes” was, he didn’t see it coming. He should have, but he didn’t see it coming. Caerbannog got people into trouble unknowingly, but Neun? She’s a different story. She thrives and making me suffer! Ryuu was at the market near the outskirts of Londinium. People here charged cheaper prices for better quality items than the things you could buy in the marketplace. It was a trade secret, as he had to supply several different types of items for different people. As a guild master, he had to ensure that his guild had no lack of supplies, and that included the cooking supplies for Caerbannog. He turned around to see his wife and another woman coming towards the town, from the direction of Windsor. Ryuu waved to Kyuu to get her attention. He turned around back to the merchant and handed him a sack of gold. “Thanks, Edward, you know where to bring them. I’ll be back next week to inspect the next shipment of goods,” he said to him and patted the merchant on his shoulders. It was folks like these that he loved doing business with. They were usually honest about what they sold and they had a passion for their craft and trade. He didn’t like getting resources from larger conglomerates simply because it didn’t have the same soul as these men and women here on the outskirt trade. He turned back around and made his way towards Kyuu and the woman that was with her. “Hey honey, welcome home!” he said as he went up to Kyuu and kissed her on the cheek. He then turned to the other woman and extended his hand to give a handshake. “Hi! I see that you’ve found my wife… I hope she hasn’t caused you too much trouble,” he said to her. Oh boy, was he in for a surprise. “I was just getting supplies for our guild, and I my wife from the distance,” he said to her. So how was this going to play out? Was the woman going to wonder why he was seemingly married to a child? Or was she going to question the general integrity of the man that she saw before him. Either way, it was a lose-lose situation for the assassin, and Rien could only assume that an onslaught of question were about to bombard Ryuu’s clueless face. Was this going an ideal exchange of words? He doubted it. Ryuu would probably end up getting hit, punched, kicked, thrown, tripped, slapped, and any other harmful words that can come to your mind. Ryuu wasn’t scared, but I am, in anticipation. Ryuu doesn’t like getting on people’s bad sides. What would be worse was if this woman was joining the guild just to make sure Ryuu didn’t put the moves on Caerbannog… oh man… it’s going to happen isn’t it? But she’s his wife! And she’s an adult!

The wolf-hair samurai walked on without a care in the world even as the adventurer who was beside her began to exhibit signs of nervousness and discomfort. Caerbannog had only asked a simple question; it would have been more difficult if she asked How or Why instead of just What. The problem with the samurai was that she did not equate X to x. Her brain is like C or Java or Javascript with its silly case-sensitivity. She had learned about the reproductive methods and purposes of male and female creatures, from all her schooling and the informative channels like Discovery and National Geographic. She had played eroge and R-rated visual novels, but she did not relate this to that. The term "nightly adult funtime" was terminology that remained alien to her, what with her focus on single-player video games with only the occasional social games. So yeah, X was not equal to x in Caerbannog's mind and a roundabout explanation would only compound the problem.
"UEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE~!" the samurai complained and vigorously rubbed her cheek that the assassin had kissed.
Caer had no idea that Kumori would be wandering around town that time of the day. He was usually in his office doing some paperwork; did he leave all of that work to Oxford who had just returned from his soul-searching? Either way, the sudden meeting with the guild leader of Aeryn put Caerbannog in a bad position... she had hoped to let the guardian Sophia stay at the Abbey for a few days THEN introduce her to the other guild members, much like a stray puppy that followed one home, but Kumori's appearance dashed that plan off.
"I... I adopted her!" the wolf-hair pointed straight at Sophia.
The guardian still seemed rather uncomfortable, and so that reminded Caerbannog of their earlier conversation. In her mind, Caer thought that this was the perfect opportunity to have the young man explain what the supposed "funtime" was. He had hinted to it every now and then, and Caerbannog herself heard it from random adventurers who seemed to joke around about it. But there never was a clear answer and the wolf-hair was tired of it. Also, Neun wanted to get Rien in trouble.
"She told me that nightly adult fun time is something that people who are in love do!" Caerbannog exclaimed right in the middle of the road where everyone around them could hear every single word, "Is that why you want to have nightly adult fun times with me?"
The wolf-hair still pointed at the guardian and then her eyes drifted downward. A sudden realization dawned upon her. How could she not have noticed it before? Why did she ask that silly question when the answer was right in front of her?
"Oh, I know!" the vertically-challenged girl clapped her hands together, "You're a 36C!"
Someone in the background spat out their drink, and another person tripped as they stared at Sophia.
"I meant your boobs!" Caerbannog clarified, "Your boobs measure 36C!"

Emilia kept close to the small girl and took her hand into hers. "Let's go meet your friend. You lead the the way, dear." She said, smiling down at her. But before they could enter town, they were stopped by a raven haired lad, who came over from the shops nearby the outer edge of the town's walls. Emilia did spotted the youth earlier, waving in their general direction, but she wasn't sure if it was them whom he was waving to. "Ah! This is the friend she mentioned." She thought, when he neared them and gave the girl a peck on her cheek. "And he seems to be very affectionate." She didn't really read anything into the light kiss he gave on the girl's cheek, she just assumed the best in him, as she usually does for anyone she meets in general. "Hullo! Nice you meet you." But then she felt something amiss from his greeting. "Er, um, wait. Excuse me, what did you say she was?" She said, questioningly, to the boy, when she thought he said, so casually, that this girl was his wife. Certainly no one would say something like that so openly. Maybe she misheard him. That's it! She must have misheard him. But before she could confirm exactly what he said, the girl interrupted them by speaking once more about 'Nightly Adult fun time' this time within hearing range of everyone around them. "Hey! Remember what I said about saying such things in public?" She said, scolding girl for her behavior. That is, until the girl pointed at her iron chassis and guessed aloud her cup size. Emilia let out a little gasp from her mouth. She then instinctively crossed her arms, trying to hide her chest, as the patrons had all their eyes on her. What she thought was most embarrassing, wasn't the unattended attention that came her way, but was the fact that the girl had gotten her size exactly right. What were the odds? She turned her her focus over to the boy, "L-l-let's go to your abbey, your friend was talking about it earlier and I'm interested in seeing it, if you would like to show me?" She said to him, wanting to leave the gaze of the surrounding patrons, for a more private place to talk. By thids

It was typical for his wife to complain about the kiss, especially in such a public place. She began rubbing it as if the assassin was infected with something, but alas, he was not. He was only infected with the power of love for his wife. After a few seconds of rubbing her cheek, the samurai pointed at a woman and said that she had adopted her. Ryuu nodded as if it wasn’t out of the ordinary for his wife to do random things like adopting random people into the family. It also wasn’t beyond his wife to shout out things that were intended for more private audiences. Ryuu looked at his wife and then at Sophia and alternated between them. Were he drinking something, he’d have most definitely spit it out at Sophia. Ryuu finally settled his eyes on his wife and nodded slowly. “Umm… yes… It’s because I love you and because you’re my wife. Who else would I have nightly adult funtimes with?” he asked her. Ryuu looked at her to see if she knew what it was. She he just say outright what it was? He wondered what her reaction would be. “You do know what it is, right? Sex?” he said. He didn’t say it as loud as Caerbannog did. He knew how to say things that weren’t meant for public audiences in public areas. After stating so, Ryuu wondered what the reaction of Kyuu would be, regardless, though, the samurai pointed at Sophia and said aloud what her bust size was. Ryuu opened his mouth, speechless, as he wasn’t really sure what to say at this point. He looked down at the ground and bowed to Sophia. “ I’m so sorry. She can be rather loud, sometimes… please forgive her… please, follow me to our Guild house,” he said. Ryuu led the two girls towards the Abbey. They would pass by various stores and stalls, however, he paid no attention to them. Ryuu grabbed his wife’s hand and walked towards the house with her. He didn’t care if she pouted or protested, he wanted to hold her hand, and Ryuu would smile show her his puppy eyes, wanting her to bear with it. She was his wife after all. After a few minutes of walking, the group had finally made it to the Abbey. “Welcome to our not-so-humble abode,” he said. “The cathedral is under the control of the guild Aeryn.

There were only a few things that could make Caerbannog shut up and being told to be quiet is not one of them. The little wolf-hair kept going on and on until her dear Kumori answered her question directly. Now THIS was one of the things that could make Caer shut up. She stood there for a while, rather dumb-founded at the revelation. It seemed as if her mind had a meltdown and it would take a while for the system to reboot. Caerbannog looked at the guardian Sophia and then she looked at the woman's boobs. And then she looked at Kumori and stared at his boobs- wait no, he doesn't have any. The wolf-hair just stared blankly at the assassin's chest and then she eventually fell forward, unconscious but her eyes were wide open.
There wasn't much to say as obviously, Kumori's bluntness broke his wife's mind. She would probably be able to accept that 'truth' once she snapped out of it, but in the meantime, Caerbannog was totally unconscious. Her eyes did not react to light and she just stared wide-eyed, unblinking. As for the guardian, it would probably be best to finally induct her into the guild if she so wished. Their conversation had gone on long enough and the trip to the Abbey was long overdue. Oh, don't mind Caer, she'll be fine. She'd had much worse days, like that time when she broke her mother's favorite vase or when she went out into the ocean and almost drowned.

Ah. He said it again. And just when Emilia simply believed that she was hard of hearing. When she had first heard of this boy, she thought he was like an older sibling, a friend or perhaps her guardian. She would had never thought, in a billion years, that this little girl could be this young man's wife. She was just so.. very tiny and child-like. Both in terms of appearance and attitude. Which made it both surprising and hard for the mother to take. And as a mother, and well, a decent human being, the thought of them doing.. THAT! Of all things, disturbed her greatly, needless to say. She painfully winced as she tried to censor her own thoughts. But then, another thought popped into her mind. Maybe this wife of his was actually an adult like she had so stubbornly tried to claim before. She might as well could be. After all, Emilia wasn't as young as her Elder Tales Character, Sophia. But what about the girl's behavior? She was pretty darn rude, sure. But could there be more to it? What if it was a cry for help? It's bad enough being stuck in a strange world, but it's even more terrifying being stuck in a body that isn't your own. With this thought in mind, she started to pity the girl. So that's why she refused the young man's advances. It would be hard to express your so love freely, with judging looks from other people due to your stature. And for a moment, Emilia herself was one of those people, as she realized. She was soon snapped out of her train of thought by the husband, who was apologizing for his wife's behavior. "Ah. No, worries!" Emilia replied to the young lad, with a reassuring smile shot his way. "And thank you for letting me see your guild house! Your wife had told me on our way over here about it. Isn't that right.. Eh!?" She turned her head to look over at the little- Er, young lady, only she see her sprawled all over the ground, not moving at all. "Wha-!? What's happened to her!?" Panicked she hastily attempted to scoop her up from the ground and into her arms. With the girl close, she noticed that she was still breathing. Which relieved Emilia a bit, but she was still worried what brought upon her unconsciousness. "Let's take her home!" She said, in a dire voice to her husband. They made their way over to the abbey, both of them trying to hold onto her. It took minutes, but they managed to get to the Abbey. When they entered, Sophie tried to look for a place to set the girl down. "Does still guild have any Clerics? Maybe they could help!" Said the frightened Emilia.
