| It was a clear, cool evening in Londunium with not a single cloud in the sky. The stars just waking twinkle their first greetings as the sun sets. Lavinia sometimes wondered if the weather of this world was programmed to be beautiful constantly or if it's just luck. Anyway, it has been awhile since Lavinia had joined Aeryn, she had been on a few adventures with the guild, but regrettably has never been to the Abby, their official guild house. The enchantress really didn't have anything to do tonight, no potions to make, nothing really to study. Kitty was busy, so was Balore and everyone else, even Hiro who had his status set to DnD, almost always for whatever reason. So because of this Lavinia would check out the Abby, maybe meet a guild member or two to hang out with. Inside the main room where adventures respawn when they die Lavinis looks around in aw, the place was really a work of art, but she quickly moved on. Moving inside to the part of the Abby restricted to guild members and recently allies from Apocrypha, this part of the building looked more like a home, thankfully. There was however one important item in this living room like space and it caught Lavinia's eye almost instantly, it was a piano. Black and shiny, the instrument sat off to the side of the room, most likely mainly for decoration, but this mattered little as long as it was functional. Lavinia looked around for her fellow guild members and found none, she wondered whether she was allowed to play and who it even belonged to. It was a miracle Lavinia didn't do something crazy like glomp and rub her cheek against the smooth surface. Instead the enchantress walks over and gently runs her fingers across it before opening the lid that covers the keys. Just like the real world version, this instrument was a wonderful piece of craftsmanship. Looking around again and still not seeing anyone Lavinia decided she's playing, like she gave herself a choice. Sitting down and getting comfortable Lavinia gently presses down on several of the keys, listening to the sound that is coming from the stings Lavinia concludes it's tuned correctly. Sitting for a moment thinking the enchantress contemplates what she should play, it has been some time since she played so maybe something simple or maybe she should just jump in head first. "Well, since no one else is around..." Lavinia thinks as she places her hands in position to play. Closing her eyes and pressing down on the keys of the piano as she plays, a soft slow paced melody fills the room, the enchantress' fingers and feet remembering the motions of the song Remember without her commanding them. At the correct moment in the song, Lavinia inhales deeply as she prepares to sing the lyrics. ♫♪"I'm lost, so lost...will I be able to see the sky again?"♪♫ comes from her lips, in a soft harmonic tone with the piano's notes. ♫♪"Oh please, one more day"♪♫ she continues rising in pitch as she finishes the verse. By this point in the song Lavinia was starting to get into it, she would move her head in relation to the rise and fall in her pitch. ♫♪"Wishing, praying...wont someone allow this shadow of a girl"♪♫ she continues again in her soft melodic voice. Lavinia oh so dearly missed music, this was the first real chance she had to play since the calamity, it was like, all the stress, drama and emotion built up over all this time just flowed and fueled the enchantress' voice. |

WE'LL CROSS THROUGH ALL THESE NIGHTS WE'LL CROSS THROUGH ALL THESE NIGHTS Sunlight from the early afternoon sun poured through the thinly curtained windows as Charuen stirred in bed. Ever so slowly, the pinkette opened her eyes, before rapidly blinking a couple of times at rid them of fatigue, as well as to adjust to the bright light that was flooding her room. Ever since she had moved into her small bedroom in Westminster Abbey, where the temperature was always warm and comfy, her slumbers had become longer and more peaceful. The cleric was usually an early bird, but the events from the past week had tired her greatly, and thus she had allowed herself to sleep well into the afternoon. She reckoned she deserved it after all the running around she had done, as well as the all nighter she had to pull to save Kumori and Hirosame. Nonetheless, it was well into the afternoon, and the pinkette needed to get out of bed if she wanted to be at least a it productive that day.
A yawn escaped from the cleric's lips as she slipped out of bed. Her nightgown swayed to and fro as she gathered her toiletries and headed to the bathroom to perform her morning post-slumber routine. A shower had been on her mind, but now that she thought about it, a bath seemed like a more attractive idea. What better way to end off the week than soaking in herbal waters to get rid of her the dull aches in her muscles? A small smile tugged at the adventurer's lips as she imagined the hot water gently caressing her skin. Oh! Maybe she should go the extra mile and make it a bubble bath...
--------------------------------------------------------------------- "Hm, I'm feeling a little bit hungry..."
After a very relaxing bath (She gave in and went for the bubbles too.) and brushing her teeth, Charuen had returned to her room to pick out an outfit to wear for the day. Since she did not have any plans to do any fighting, the pink haired beauty eventually settled for a dress that she knew would be comfortable to wear while exploring the abbey. Indeed, the cleric planned to finally have her adventure in the mysterious building. As an avid architecture fan, it was a surprise that she had yet to acquaint herself with the famous building. That being said, if she wanted to have the energy to do anything, she would first require some nourishment. Once she had finished combing her hair and had taken one last look in the mirror to make sure that she looked presentable, the pinkette exited her room and began her short walk to the kitchen.
The journey to the kitchen was one of the only routes she knew how to navigate at the moment. As she drew closer and closer to her destination, Charuen soon took note of the sound of a piano playing further down the hallway. A tingly sensation ran through her body as the beautiful notes flowed through the halls and reached her ears. There was something hauntingly beautiful about the melody, and the cleric was vaguely reminded of the sanctuary in the main part of the Abbey. The tune seemed to carry the same serene mood as the re-spawn area. Intrigued, Charuen followed the music until she found herself standing in front of a rather humble looking wooden door.
After hesitating for a heartbeat, the adventurer turned the brass handle and slowly opened the door. She wasn't sure what to expect, thus when she recognized the young woman who sat in the middle of the room playing the piano, a look of awe appeared on Charuen's face. The pink haired beauty already knew from the rescue mission that Lavinia was a smart and beautiful young woman, but to learn that she could sing and play the piano as well...! A soft smile appeared on Char's face as she continued to listen to her guild-mate sing. Lavinia's soft voice put her in a very relaxed mood... In fact, it made her too relaxed, for next thing she knew, words (albeit quiet words)escaped from the cleric's lips, interrupting the redhead's song.
"You have such a beautiful voice...!"
Realizing her mistake, Char let out a small gasp and quickly covered her mouth with her hands. NOTES:HUZZAH. THE POST IS COMPLETE. THAT IS THE PROMISE OF OUR FUTURE THAT IS THE PROMISE OF OUR FUTURE

Ano hi mita sora~ Akane iro no sora wo~ Nee~ Kimi wa oboeteimasuka~
A male voice silently sang out, as a foot collided with the ground for just a moment, kicking backwards. The skateboard underneath the one singing jolted forward, before coming to an easy glide along the street. Spending the time in-transit singing a tune that he had memorized a long time ago, Hiro re-positioned his body correctly on the board. Despite being out on a rather chilly day, riding along on his skateboard, he had a mission to take care of today. Hiro was on his way to ask Kumori something about the Alliance, and how things were going to work out after all was said and done, as well as how Hiro believed that his new subclass could help them out with all sorts of things. Having swapped recently to being an Idol, Hiro now had a new skill that he could make use of. Sure, he was giving away the chance to put sigils on himself to make himself faster, stronger, or whatever else he needed. He realized the trade offs, but ultimately, this would be more useful in the end. And not in the sense that he was going to get a lot more popular.
Yakusoku chigiri~ shoka no kaze ga tsutsumu~ futari~ yorisotta~
His voice let out again, continuing where he had left off a few moments before. He kicked the ground again, and let the board glide across the ground once more. This time, though, he didn't kick the ground again, as he had very quickly reached his destination. It was a good thing that the two guild homes were so close to one another in proximity, or else he would have to sing the whole song. Then again, due to the Half-Gaia Project that the world was based on, it still wouldn't have been that long a trip to get from one place to another. Hiro hopped off the board, and kicked it up into his hand. He opened up his inventory for just a moment, and placed the object inside. After that, Hiro looked up at the massive building, wondering if he was, in fact, at the right entrance. Or if what he was standing in front of was actually an entrance at all. He shrugged it off, though, and started to walk inside, making his way through different corridors and all that stuff. He had a crude map that he had been given by Ox a while back, in case Hiro ever needed to enter the establishment on guild business. Now was the time to use it.
A little while after having entered, he found himself attracted by the sound of music. Not his own, but someone else's. It sounded kinda sad, but also very pure. The piano that played along with it was very enchanting as well. Instead of trying to find his way to the place where he knew that Kumori would be, but trying to follow the sound of the music. However, it had ended suddenly, and Hiro found himself trying to find the source on his own. That's when he remembered his mechanic skill. He put his hand to the wall, and closed his eyes, activating Quality Control. The sudden influx of information on how the building was crafted, and what went where, was enough to cause an immediate headache. But, thanks to the system aiding him, he felt nothing like that. Hiro's eyes opened up once again, and he broke into a sprint, heading towards the source of the music. He ran for a good little while, realizing how well the walls echoed. Must have something to do with being stone. He wasn't an Artisan, so he wouldn't be able to decipher if that was the truth or not.
Hiro's sprint came to a slow walk, as the place where the music had emanated from was just before him. The door was open, and he decided that he would go ahead and take a quick peak inside. But, instead of a quick peak, he decided to fully walk into plain view of whomever was inside the room. As he entered, he looked around the room, trying to see if there was anything above or around him. This was cut short, of course, by the noticing of a pink-haired adventurer whom Hiro had quested with before. "Oh, Charuen!" Hiro exclaimed, at the sight of his friend. "How's it been?" After asking a simple question such as this, he turned to the piano just ahead, and noticed a red haired girl sitting there. Perplexed for a moment, thinking that it was just a different member of Aeryn, his mind snapped into place. "Lavinia, is that you!?" He shouted. "Your hair's red!" Hiro abruptly pointed to the girl, without thinking. After finally realizing how rude he was, Hiro pulled his hand back in a rather embarrassed manner. The thought of asking what either of them were doing here was out of the question, as they lived here, more than likely. Instead, he thought of something else to say. "You play music, Lavinia? Didn't know about that at all." He turned to Charuen. "How about you? Do you play anything?" Stupid questions to cover his own stupidity. Nice move, Hiro.[881 Words]

LaviniaLevel 26: Enchanter Level 22: Pharmacist Level 11: Scholar Note: ... Continuing with the next verse, the piano singing the haunting song along side her. ♫♪"To see one more day"♪♫ Lavinia sings continuing her song completely unaware of the two people who will be here shortly. ♫♪"Remember, remember, please..."♪♫ she continues but cuts herself off when she hears a sound off to her side. Lavinia didn't actually hear the words Char said, but the gasp that followed. The sound startled her causing the next note she pressed on the keys to sound off tone, not like it mattered she wasn't going to continue the song now. Looking at the woman, Lavinia recognized her immediately from the rescue mission. Taking her hands from the key Lavinia rests them on the stool she is sitting on and blushes a bit. "O-oh, I'm sorry, I'll stop." she says to the pinkette thinking she may have come to ask her to stop. For all Lavinia knew this piano could be something special and wasn't meant to be played, which was a horrible fate for an instrument such as this. "I didn't think anyone was here today..." Lavinia continued as she started to slide to the edge of the two person stool that she sat on. Lavinia would have loved to keep playing, this should be evident to Char for how oblivious Lavinia was to her presence until now. But, this wasn't her house, it was everyone's so she respected someones appreciation for quiet.
Hearing a door open behind her, Lavinia sits on the edge of the stool and turns to see who it is. It's a monk, a red head like herself that has an affinity for flying pans and getting his skull beaten in by ladles. Of course, this can only be one person, Hirosame. The monk she hasn't seen in awhile, not since Lavinia was still a summoner and had her natural black hair color. He greeted Char first since he obviously didn't notice Lavinia yet. When he finally did notice her his reaction was amusing. All the enchantress could do is smile at his expression "Yes. Yes, it is. she replied to the monk with a smirk of amusement on her face. Lavinia watched as the monk tried to recompose himself from the embarrassing out burst and then ask about her playing music. “You play music, Lavinia?” he asked, Lavinia thought about giving him a sarcastic remark in return something like “Isn't that obvious? Or “You tell me ladle for brains.” but she decide against both. While they would be funny comments to return, especially just after his blunder of an entrance. Lavinia decided they'd be inappropriate for now, after all Lavinia didn't know either of the people who were with her all that well. Lavinia actually nodded in reply to his question and then decided to elaborate a bit "Back home I hoped to play for a living." she replies and then he asks Char something similar. Lavinia wondered if she played anything as well, judging by the gasp that Lavinia heard the conclusion was maybe, real helpful. Lavinia was also curious if Hiro played anything, she also wondered what the chances were for the three of them to actually be able to play an instrument were. Probably low. For some reason, Lavinia suddenly wanted to learn to play the guitar, maybe in the future when someone invites one. "KNOW THAT I'M ALREADY HOME" Seeing Lavinia's blush, as well as the words that escaped the redhead's lip shortly after, caused Charuen to quickly shake her head and raise a hand to indicate that the enchantress was mistaken. "Oh, no. Most definitely not!" The pinkette exclaimed with a quiet laugh. A small smile settled on her lips as she regarded her fellow guild mate with a look of admiration and fondness. "Your singing was beautiful, so please continue. If anything, I must apologize for interrupting you. That was so rude of me..."Following these words, Char bowed her slightly head in apology.
The cleric's attention was momentarily drawn away from the young woman sitting on the piano bench when she heard a familiar voice call out to her. Turning around, a delighted smile crossed the pinkette's lips as her eyes fell upon another redhead: Hirosame. "Hiro!" She greeted cheerfully, waving at her good friend. "I'm doing quite well... This morning began quite nicely with some wonderful music. And you? How are you, and what brings you to Westminster Abbey today?" Charuen eyed the monk curiously. Normally she would assume that anyone running around the Abbey who was not part of the guild was there because they died. However, in the healer's opinion, Hirosame was much to skilled a player to be dying. She supposed she shouldn't find his presence an anomaly -- after all, he was the leader of the guild that Aeryn was in an alliance with. It made sense for him to stop by.
Charuen blinked in surprise as Hiro then proceeded to comment (In surprise) at Lavinia's hair. The cleric tilted her head slightly in wonderment. It seemed the enchantress' hair was not usually red. Char wondered what the younger adventurer's original hair colour was. Purple? Black? Pink like hers? As Hiro and Lavinia chatted, the healer kept herself occupied by imagining her guild mate with different hair colours. However, she was drawn back to reality when Hiro addressed her once more. An embarrassed laugh escaped the pink haired adventurer's lips and she nodded slightly in response to his question. "I used to play the violin, and I can play some simple songs on the piano. I'm not very good though." She was by no means being modest. Unlike Lavinia, who seemed to be extremely musically inclined, Charuen's musical talent was merely...passable. Blue had given her some lessons back in the real world in singing as well, and she did enjoy singing during her baths, but she was by no means particularly good at it. Especially compared to Lavinia. The half-alv supposed that she was better off listening to music (which she loved) than playing it.
"I hope you don't mind me asking you the same question in return, Hiro. Do you play any instruments?" Charuen looked at the monk with an expression of wonder, but quickly turned to face Lavinia once more, her dress graciously swaying at the sudden movement. "Ah, we are not keeping you from playing more music, are we?" The last thing she wanted was to be in the younger woman's way.

You find a book on the floor that was flipped to a specific page. It showed Ode to Joy. Someone crudely wrote their own lyrics onto the page.
"You need four people in a thread to claim it for alliance posts."
Weird lyrics but somehow it works.

After his little outburst, Hiro figured that it'd be best of he was quiet for a few moments. After all, he was here to see Kumori about something guild/alliance-related, so being here was just a happenstance of sorts, which he may or may not have forgotten about after seeing Charuen and the red-haired Lavinia now. Also, the music she played was something that would drive any thought from one's mind. So it really wasn't as surprising, he thought, to have his thoughts erased after hearing something of that magnitude. He was rather impressed with Lavinia's singing ability. Perhaps it was just her voice? Perhaps it was also the song she played? Hiro had no definite way of telling, but it sure as heck sounded great. He wasn't as music-inclined as he thought he would be, at this point, but then again, he just swapped to Idol not too long ago. It would definitely take some time to adjust to how things will be. Until then, though, he'd take things at a slow and steady pace, letting things go by as they normally would, without much interaction between those things and him.
Charuen and Lavinia's greetings were received, but not responded to. After all, Hiro barged in without so much as a reason. Which he should explain now. "Oh, right. I needed to talk to Kumori about some stuff regarding the guild alliance we have going on. Would you guys happen to know if he's around right no-" He was cut off by the thought of who cares. Music seemed infinitely more interesting at the moment. "Eh, I'll bother him later. Either of you two mind if I hang out for a bit?" He asked to the two. He figured that they wouldn't mind all that much if he stuck around just a bit, but he'd be more than willing to leave if his presence wasn't welcomed at the moment. He'd be more than willing to just turn around, and go back to finding Kumori, or even leave the building, if he wasn't even here today. Guild stuff tended not to take too long, so it was stuff that could be easily spoken about later, during other conversations and circumstances. It wasn't anything of any particular note, but still something important enough to warrant Hiro coming to the Aeryn guild home just to make sure that it was all taken care of.
Hiro began to look around, and found himself a seat, to which he sat down upon. As if there was anything else to do with seats anyways. Hiro was most interested in the song that Lavinia was playing. But, before he'd address her, Hiro would respond to Charuen. "Yeah, I used to play a few things back in the other world. Lately, I've been picking up the flute for reasons unknown, but I've also gotten to singing a bit more." Hiro transitioned his gaze, and the conversation back to Lavinia. "Speaking of singing, could I ask that you continue your song?" Hiro was very entertained, and admittedly entranced by the song she was singing. He had heard it a long time ago, and the feeling of nostalgia is a powerful one. Enough to drag you back to times when you were but a child, hearing a lullaby that your mother used to sing to you, to get you to finally sleep after being awake and ruining her and your father's movie night. But, maybe that analogy wasn't right for this moment in time. Either way, though, he wanted to hear the song, even if it's just for a little longer. Maybe after that, he'll strut his own stuff a bit, playing on the flute he has in his inventory presently. Should the situation call for it, he'll bring it on out and play for a little while. Maybe even impress the two. That'd be neat.

LaviniaLevel 26: Enchanter Level 22: Pharmacist Level 11: Scholar Note: ... Lavinia blushed at Charuen's compliments her singing, while she has received compliments like this before, for some reason Lavinia always acted so humble about it. "Oh, thank you, its..." she cut herself off, as she noticed Charuen turn her attention to Hiro. Lavinia listened to the two converse for a moment, they obviously knew each other from the way they spoke. Lavinia wondered how they met, maybe it was in a similar situation like how she met Hiro awhile back. "I don't mind if you hang out, I haven't seen you for awhile anyway. Plus I think Kumori is out with Caerbannog today anyway." she says to the monk who obviously has ladles and flying pans on the brain, or maybe it was embedded in his brain. Who knows for sure, this is Hirosame we're talking about here.
Lavinia listened to Charuen explain her skill with the violin and piano and Hiro his new found skill with the flute and other instruments from the real world. While the violin was a beautiful instrument, it never really suited Lavinia or her style of music, but then again neither did the piano. But there was something about the piano Lavinia always liked, maybe it was that it could convy so many different emotions at once. The flute was an odd choice, but then again, as said before, this is Hirosame we're talking about. It could be a soothing instrument if it was in the right hands, was his hands the right ones? Doubtful, but of course, Lavinia doesn't think any of this, we're just doing 4th wall stuff here.
Hiro's request for Lavinia to finish the song came as a surprise and Charuen's expressed concern about it didn't help. "Oh, no, I just haven't played in awhile, I kinda missed it. I'll continue if you want." she says looking back and forth between the two adventures. Sliding back in front of the piano, Lavinia positions herself to continue playing, placing her feet near the peddles she decides to start a verse before she stopped. Placing her hands on the keys, Lavinia takes a deep breath before she begins playing the slow paced hauntingly song, collecting the flow of emotions brought forth by such a song. ♫♪"Remember, remember, please remember who I used to be"♪♫ the enchantress' voice softly fills the room. While the raw emotional expression that filled her voice at first feels weak, as she continues it comes back in its full glory. ♫♪”Who am I,who am I, I'm a puppet in their game"♪♫ Lavinia continues singing and stroking the keys softly in just the way the original artist of the song played herself. ♫♪”Dreaming of a life I never had"♪♫ it was this point in the lyrics that always struck Lavinia. For the longest time, she bounced from place to place, never really able to keep friends because of it. She often wondered, literally, what kind of life she'd have if she wasn't forced move around so much. ♫♪”Remember, remember, please remember who I used to be / Who am I, Who am I, my reality has slipped away"♪♫ for whatever reason, Lavinia took the lyrics to this song literally, even these lines struck something in her. A more recent memory, a inner battle of sorts, after the discovery of the real fate of her parents that our monk was present for and the events during the rescue mission which our cleric was present for this line was literally a sign that says “Don't forget who you are, you aren't a killer, not like her.”. ♫♪”Xion, Xion... isn't this the name they gave to me? / Promise... my friends... I'm still here"♪♫ Lavinia continues with her song forgoing the chorus, this whole song Lavinia could relate to, its kind of sad. ♫♪”Remember, remember, please remember who I used to be / Who am I, who am I, who was I supposed to be..."♪♫ Lavinia finishes her song resting her hands on the keys looking down at them for a moment before looking up at both Hiro and Charuen. "It's a depressing song, but I always could relate to the lyrics in one way or another. Helps me feel better when I could use a pick me up..." she says as she gives the pair a shug.
