Urgh, what had she gotten herself into this time Nisha wondered silently as she rummaged through the library, or workshop. Nisha had claimed a small corner of a small library and little by little added stuff or made suggestions to the owner how to change things up to make it more attractive to people. To which he usually grumbled something and then walked off to grumble some more. But in the end, whenever Nisha appeared again she found that he had taken her words seriously and added stuff if it was not too much. And even though the library and bookstore had seen some increase, Nisha wondered if it was enough to justify all the changes, feeling slightly bad about it. But then again, it definitely had more flair now than before. Sitting down in her little corner, she took out a piece of paper and stared at it. She had been roped into crafting something for someone, nothing big mind you, but big enough for Nisha to feel obliged to fulfill it right away. And what was embarassing about it was that it was something she had thought off in the spur of the moment. It had not even been her intention to make it all that public, but here she was with an order of five of these things. Contracts.
The things she had loathed in the real world, but had signed one after the other as if she was signing autographs. Sighing, she picked up the magic ink and dipped the writing quill into it, slowly and carefully tracing her original work, this time being a bit more careful with her lines, it would not do if she made a contract for someone and not just for fun and messed around. She had to at least try to make this one and the others she crafted look good. it was also important to let the magic flow freely and openly, but still tame it into the paper so it would have the desired effect. Sure it was not the greatest of effects, but Nisha was definitely not one to judge. At least it was easy work for her and she felt kind of happy aside from feeling weirded out that someone really relied on her for this. For starters, her smile did not leave her face as she slowly, but this time without smears or smudges as she crafted the contracts. Finishing shortly after, she looked at the drying ink on the contracts and decided it was good work, nodding with arms in front of her chest, puffing it out a little in pride for what she had created. Even more so knowing it was the first time she had really crafted for someone else made it all the more enjoyable, maybe she should go drinking with some people later to make this even more memorable. Wrapping the contracts in stiff paper, she patted the package and walked out of the shop, paying for the material and adding a few words on how well stuff looked now. Grinning at the usual, but weirdly enough happy grumble.
