Mana Shard Battery
Materials Required: 2 Coils
Posts Required: 2
Requirement: Level 5 Mechanic
A recipe by Mechanic TheEnd. This item is extremely fragile due to the fact that it is made with weak materials, but it is made from two straightened energy coils then wrapped together in a way similar to a basic basket shape, where a mana fragment could be placed to provide some kind of energy that could be charged or discharged upon command. Right now it doesn't hold energy for very long, though if you're quick and place enough mana into it, you could give a small jolt to a wet finger touching it.
Material cost: 2*5*6 = 60
“I’m bored… let’s do something fun, something new, and something shocking!” Bailin mumbled to himself as he scrolled through the mechanic recipe list. After he went through the list at least twice, carefully examining all crafting recipes. The second run through the list, being a more random search, Bailin was looking for something to catch his eye. There he found the Mana shard battery. Hmm, this looks interesting enough, might as well give it to Nostro after I’m done, he could probably find something useful for it.
Darn alchemist could make himself useful for a change and be productive! Though… that might not be the best thing to do… worst case scenario he’d blow himself up… again. Bailin thought to himself, smiling and thinking back one the time on another game, in another life it seemed, where Nostro played the inventor-type and blew his character up.
“Hmm, one might get a bit nostalgic thinking back on the old days, though I have to admit, these days are more fun. Never before did I have this much time to just tinker around. But I digress, which is becoming a rather odd habit.” He mumbled to himself.
Rummaging through his piles of bits and pieces, also known as parts, Bailin managed to find two coils, which were to be used to form into a basket of sorts which in turn could hold the manashard and thus power the device. Further applications for now were unknown to Bailin but he was certain they’d come up eventually or from someone other than him.
“Alright onwards to the task at hand, let’s make something out of these coils. I’m guessing straightening them first, then gentle weave them together to form a little basket.” Bailin mumbled as he started warming up the coils, preparing them to be straightened out.
