It's every shameful fall, every mistake that I've made
A unique figure was roaming the halls of Warwick Castle. Unique as a point because the white-clad figure in plate armor had chains wrapped around them. A chain was wrapped around each forearm and attached at the wrist, with an additional chain on each shoulder, left dangling and linked to their respective side's hip. Furthermore, a black longsword with no guard on it was hanging at his left hip, and an additional black katana, also with no guard, was attached to the waist on the back with the hilt protruding to the left. Neither were drawn at this point, but probably the most questionable part was the color. Each chain and weapon had a different glow to them. The katana had a dull fire red emanating from it while the longsword had an ice blue glow. For the chains, from right arm, shoulder, left shoulder, then arm, their glows were lightning yellow, water blue, wind grey and earth brown respectively.
Walking along with loud clanging noises, the person inside the suit sighed briefly. There was no way to be stealthy while wearing all this. Not that he was here to fight, he just simply had nothing better to do. The avatar known as Pwyll continued to casually walk down a hallway while observing the nearby monsters to make sure he didn't attract any attention. It had been a while since he had been in contact with anyone, since he had a habit of secluding himself to the blacksmith forge, his inn room or any area away from people. He still had a long way to go before he could reveal his true self to anyone. Save a few people who found out. Currently, there were only two people who knew what he was really like, and one other who know what he looked like inside his armor.
Stopping for a moment and stretching, Pwyll rubbed his helmeted head with his gauntlet-covered hand. His fox ears were getting stiff, as well as his tail which was wrapped around his waist inside the suit of armor. Most people would probably use the racial trait to hide them if they were in a similar position, but Pwyll liked the extra sensory and nerve endings they gave. He was even adjusting well to using his tail as a way to balance. If he had known there would be so few people around, he would have left his armor off and stuck with his long sleeve shirt and deep red jeans. With the advancement of tailors, jeans as a material were now common, compared to being stuck with tunics. Vanity clothing was a great thing to have, after all. Though being a blacksmith, he didn't know how hard it was for tailors and leather workers. Heck, even the wood crafting looked like such a pain.
Standing on the second floor, Pwyll stopped at a window and looked out at the surrounding area. The weather was raining again, and it was rather cold. He was grateful for his tail in these situations, as it was quite warm. The fluffiness was relaxing too. Not that he would let anyone see him stroking and grooming his tail. He already had to wear a dress some time ago, and that was embarrassing enough. The skirt was so short! Staying at the window for a while, he looked up towards the sky as he pondered about things. There was so much stuff he had yet to do. There were guilds, housing, even changing sub-classes. Confirming that there wouldn't be any thunder, Pwyll relaxed a bit more and found a room which was illuminated by a fire.
Walking into said room, he found it in shambles. The fire was probably either supposed to be there or made by another adventurer. Ignoring the past and focusing on the present, he gathered up some of the chairs in the room and stood them up properly around the fire made out of a broken table. The room looked like it was either a dining room or a storage room. Hard to tell now that it had fallen into disarray. Examining his surroundings, the old stone walls were dusty and had patches of moss, probably from rain water seeping in, or maybe a previous monster. He had long since gotten use to the spiderwebs. There were so many things in the real world that he hadn't experienced and also avoided or not been able to deal with which he has learned to manage here. He hated bugs, insects and the like back in the real world, but now it was just like seeing ants on the sidewalk.
Drooping his arms to the side as he sat on one of the chairs, he dropped his head back and stared at the doorway for no particular reason. Like that, he began to wonder how the hell he could do that while wearing plate armor. Oh well. Just like the metal piece at the back which extends from the waist to the knees, it probably just had a natural flexibility. Maybe it was magical. Sliding the helmet's lower visor up, he exposed his mouth and nothing more. That was the beauty of the thing he designed and made himself. He didn't have to expose his face when eating. Pulling out a meat sandwich from his inventory, he sat up properly and began leaning back on his chair, rocking it slightly as he ate.
With only the sounds of the fire crackling and the rain pouring down outside, he was at least thankful there were no monsters and no wind to trouble him. From what he had seen, this area was a bit outside of his current level. He probably should start focusing on leveling up. Finishing his first sandwich, he began his second. In his inventory, he had enough foodstuffs to last him probably a week without returning to a store, maybe three if he cut down his proportions and meals to the bare minimum required to sustain himself for a day. Dieting, in other words.

Nisha yawned loudly and audible as she struck down another monster. She had not had a real challenge in a while so she was quite glad to get one here, the monsters were still below her level overall, but the mass of them and her not being in a party made it quite more interesting. Her black sword doing dances around the monsters and slashing them to pieces. Mostly some reptiles that crossed her way and ran around the place like it was their nest, even hole housing one of them and Nisha was lost. It was a bit unfair to have them know their way around the castle as easily as this, maybe a bit disheartening even... well, for anyone who was not Nisha most likely. Nisha liked being lost and bathed in the feeling, knowing that she was doing something right. Well, she had not been lost all the way, after she had finished a caravan quest to avon, she had listened to the talk and joined discussions, hung around taverns and other unsavory places, just to find out that there were multiple spots of interest, but an abandoned fortress that was barely touched by monsters or adventurers... It was definitely worth a look if for other reasons than just level and have some fun. She wanted to check it out for the prospect of something new and exciting to make her own. But that was much later, for now she would enjoy the other perks she had just noted. And in the end, as soon as she had entered the castle she had become lost as well, no map or her barely if any existing sense of direction helping her, she had just hummed and walked into the first battle, then the second and third, followed by the fourth... and so on, it was not really as if the level were flying at her from it, but she had made some progress and was happy about it, maybe soon she would have her eighth tail to show show it as well. Although right now she would not mind a little break, her health was down to half and regenerating slowly from the normal regeneration and her armors reforge. All in all she was good for another... six hours or so at this rate? If only for her health, but she was hungry and needed a rest to eat and wipe off some exhaustion from the running around. Sighing, she parried another monster and countered at the same time. Fragments of data exploded into gold and experience. Nisha had never minded grinding and always just thought about other stuff while doing this mindless slaughtering of the same monster over and over again. Looking around, she used a vertical slash to hit two more enemies and finished them off with a few aito attack strikes before sheathing her blade again, finally done with this crossroad. They definitely had come to adapt to her by now. Before they had attacked wildly at any point, but now she was being attacked at crossroads and while walking through half collapsed corridors, making it a bit more difficult to fight, as if they had learned her patterns by now. Smiling grimly, she turned on the spot, twirled and saw a light at the end of one of the ways, looked like fire and unless reptiles that looked like small velociraptors had grown enough to make fire it was an adventurer or at least a room with a fire, would be good since the air in here was just as winterly as the weather on the outside. One of the first things that would change if she could. Stopping her twirl in the direction of the fire, she slowly began to walk toward the fire. Since she had vanity clothing her armor was hidden and she made not much of a sound as she moved along. toggling her hearing skill she also cast heal on herself to get back up to about 75% of what she had, fox tails ability for magic be thanked spells worked quite well for her even with the comparatively huge amount of life she had from being a tank. Entering the room without sneaking, being self confident enough to handle mostly anything that would come her way, she saw a figure in metal. It reminded her of a rainy day a rain shower and a somewhat uncomfortable memory and feeling, which she had buried. Tilting her head a little and noticing she had stopped in her movement, she started to walk to the fire and saw that the stranger had already put chairs around the fire as if waiting for people. "Mind if I sit down as well? Need a little breather, the critters here are quite something I tell ya." Without waiting for his reply, she sat down right next to him, never having been one to care much about personal space and leaned forward to enjoy the heat of the fire, wondering if this one was someone she knew. It would be funny if it was and they would just meet here totally out of coincidence. Lately she had not much chatted with people who she had known having been hidden in a forest and learning how to fight, but now that she was back, maybe it was time to call on some contacts she had and see whom she could reach. Some people had definitely fallen off the grid just like Nisha, but most likely they would be back sooner or later as well. The world was too small to hide them for long and curiosity and loneliness got everyone in the end. Although Nisha had definitely enjoyed not seeing anyone for a while, it had felt good to be away from everyone else and just relax and learn on her own time without having to worry about others or caring much about exp even though she had definitely been strong before already. But now she did not only feel strong by level but also from how she could handle a sword. It felt right now to wield it and know the mechanics behind it as she did. She had not been able to come up with a finished or something stupid, but she definitely felt like she deserved her warrior role now more than before. It's every shameful fall, every mistake that I've made
With a sandwich in hand, Pwyll had his visor exposing his mouth and turned his head to the doorway, sandwich just about to be bitten when that person walked through the doorway. Mouth half open, he had no idea how to respond as he watched the fox tail walk over and sit down on one of the seats. And in the chair right next to him as well. He couldn't help but sigh as this happened, watching the fox tail similar to himself lean forward towards the fire they were gathered around. Putting the sandwich in his mouth with one hand and eating, he manipulated his menu with the other and grabbed out some warm tea and a few more sandwiches. Placing the flask of tea on the ground along with two cups, he reached over and placed the sandwiches on the fox tail's lap, finishing his own sandwich and pouring tea into both cups.
This person that was now before him was undoubtedly the same one he met that rainy day back on the fields near Londinium. There was one other with them at that time, but who knows where they ended up. Back to the person at hand, if he remembered correctly, it was Nisha. That attitude of ignoring the personal space of another and moving at her own pace was enough to remind him of her. Which also brought up another curious memory. Nisha had forced his face to be exposed by lifting up his visor all the way. For no apparent reason, he got revenge by being 'aggressive' in what he did before closing his visor again. No doubt she would still be bitter over that, but her current attitude made it seem like they were strangers. That wasn't off the mark, but it probably had to do with his equipment.
Back then, Pwyll was still in his starter plate armor. Now, he was wearing all custom made equipment, made by himself. Two swords, Four separate chains and plate armor in a completely different style than the first. At least during this chance meeting, he wasn't dripping wet and cold from the rain. Speaking of which, he doesn't quite remember what happened at the end of all that. The most he remembers was the third wheel person talking about crafting a unique item with those present. Having poured both cups of tea, he left one beside Nisha's chair and picked up his own, sipping it. His stomach was probably 70% full, so another snack should bring him to the optimal 80% for fighting, if need be. Once again entering his inventory, he pulled out another meat sandwich, another pork, and began munching it down.
With only his chin and lips exposed, it would be quite difficult to tell he was the same person. His hair wasn't quite long enough at the front to protrude out of that gap. His old armor was plate mail all over, but this new one was separated into top and bottom with a mesh chain-mail like material joining them, soft of like the suit underneath it. Looking over at Nisha and her current clothing, it seemed safe to say it was vanity clothing. He should probably think of getting his own vanity clothing soon, maybe a few different sets. Heck, maybe enough for a wardrobe. But judging by the status bar, she was already a higher level than him. He really had let himself slack off, considering they were about even. Too much exploring, not enough grinding. Couldn't be helped, though. A solo player can only do so much.
Pwyll preferred to go Solo since being in a party required talking and he didn't like his voice very much because it was naturally feminine. Even puberty didn't fix that problem. Sipping his tea again followed by taking a bite of his sandwich, he looked up towards the roof as he chewed, thinking. Maybe he should buy a house to live in. Though he had no idea where to get one. The reason he was living outdoors was simply because he had no place to return to. At least the sound of nature was calming, but being alone in a silent house would be unbearable. Remaining silent during his meal, Pwyll didn't speak at all. He didn't know if the fox tail would remember his voice, but he still didn't like talking while wearing the armor. Finishing the last of his sandwich, he washed it down with the last of his tea and placed the cup on the ground next to his chair.
With nothing left to put in his mouth, he closed the bottom visor again, now causing every bit of his skin to be covered. With nothing to talk about, Pwyll sat there and looked at the fire, leaning back in his seat. Now he had to put up with an awkward silence because he wouldn't respond to conversation unless he really needed to. Though, that may cause something like the last time to happen. That would be... less than ideal, to say the least. Remembering something, he yet again manipulated his inventory and found an item. Pressing the interface button, a book appeared in front of him. Holding it, he found his bookmark and began reading from there.
The book was a romance novel. Holding the book up and in front of his face, he made it difficult for someone to read it unless they were actually looking over his shoulder. Despite his talk of wanting to become a reliable man and discard that feminine appearance and tastes of his, he still preferred the idealistic romance novels to those of reality and dark stories. This one was written by the People of the Land, and there didn't seem to be much unless it was educational or historical written by them. Hopefully some adventurers would start writing books, though the scribe level required for that would probably be quite high. With his hidden eyes inside his helmet, he briefly glanced over towards Nisha to see how what the fox tail was doing.

Nisha had closed the eyes for a bit, resting them after being open for quite some time, she even untoggled her better hearing for a bit so her magic would regenerate a bit faster and... it was good to not hear as much and see blackness. Being on alert twenty four seven was quite a chore and something Nisha hated, even keeping her caution for a short while was something she detested to do and only did if she was playing a game where she knew it would be needed of her. Like when she had played a healer and had to keep up the heals of everyone around her or a barrier or keeping the aggro. It was in the end really not her thing, solo against monster she knew she could handle was the best even if it gave her less out of it. Also, at least that way she could really enjoy killing stuff and seeing them fade without sharing. And yet sharing was what the stranger suddenly did, food and drink was given and prepared for her. At first she had wondered what that feeling on her leg was and if it there was gonna be a new weird pick up line following, but instead the stranger had not said anything. He had not said anything about her just sitting down as well, but Nisha had thought he might have been shocked about her suddenly stumbling into the room and taking the first seat in her way to sit down, addressing him casually and not caring about anything but sitting down. Stretching her arms and legs, she bend back a little, all of her tails stretching to the extreme as well before wriggling satisfied and shivering with the delight of not being cooped up against Nisha´s back anymore. having quite some tails was really interesting, but in a battle if you did not want them hurt you had better keep them bundled together somewhere out of the way. So, once a battle started she always pressed them against her back, which made her look a little like a squirrel. A squirrel hungry for blood and battle... Not a pleasant imagination at all, but something she did to keep her tails safe and sound. Sighing as she relaxed again and felt that good kind of ants crawling in her limbs as they really calmed down, shaking her head a little, she picked up the precariously balanced sandwich and bit into it. It was weird how something after a long day of work seemed to taste better. She never minded the weirdly bland food until people found out how to get better food, but she definitely liked the tasty stuff better and this one was good, delicious even. Eating a little too fast, she noticed something getting stuck in her throat and picked up the cup of tea to drink it with shivering fingers so as to not spill any using both hands while coughing silently and without air trying to dislodge the piece of bread. Taking a quick sip, she noticed how it got loose and slid down her throat. "Ah, that scared me." Nisha exclaimed and looked disgruntled at the sandwich destroying it in the next two bites with revenge on her mind and drank another sip of tea before acknowledging the other person again. They had now closed the helmet even and Nisha did not know if it was a precaution for monsters that might scramble by or to keep their identity hidden. A weird thing since the names of them were floating directly above them. Anyone could literally see them and know who everyone was, well, everyone aside from Nisha who had turned off most of the hud and had no idea who anyone was aside from her somewhat good face and name recollection ability. Time for the usual banter Nisha guessed and tilted her head a little, resting it on her hand, her elbow placed on top of her knee, her leg angled and laid over her other leg. "Thanks, that hit the spot. My name is Nisha, nice to meet you. You actually can relax a little I think, the monsters seem to stay away from the fire and this room, maybe it´s a safe room? Would not be all too weird since I have been running around the place all day and this is I think the only room I did not try to rest in." Nisha chuckled and wondered what kind of person was behind that helmet and if she knew them. Would be weird since there were enough faces and people around to not know them all. And Nisha was far away from knowing many people, although she did like meeting lower level people and watch them reach up and come to enjoy the game once more. It was just interesting to watch the process and something Nisha definitely did not mind at all. It was a bit like looking into the past when she had be the same, just another noobie which had forgotten to hit the right time to start and had been too caught up with everything new to become one of the frontliners, she had even heard that some people had maxed out by now. Nisha was quite a way away from that even though she was... well, she was putting some effort into it to catch up now and no one could really fault her for that, one of them being in her guild and making her envious all the way. Sure she had been away form civilization for a while, but she had gone and maxed out while Nisha was still only scraping by and tried to not feel totally inadequate about herself. Or maybe this guy was the same? Not being able to stand looking at another person and wanting to get away from it all? It definitely did not seem to be that way though, he had even given her some food after all. Ah, well, she would find out one way or another anyway, just like she always did. It would work out. That reminded her... Quickly she scanned over the menu and pressed a few buttons, a flask of clear liquid appearing in her hand and another in her other hand. Setting one of them down beside herself and the other in his direction, she got back to leaning on her one hand and let some of the clear liquid drop into her cup. "You should try it, warms you right to the bones, you can keep the flask, hold your cup here, gonna give you some." Nisha said and as she finished adding to her own cup that was resting on the chair beside her, she moved her hand into his general direction to give him some if he wanted. It was the best and most pure stuff she could find and was dirt cheap as well, but in exchange for the sandwich and some drink it would do hopefully. It's every shameful fall, every mistake that I've made
Seeing the multitude of tails spread out, Pwyll was a bit jealous. Wrapped around his waist was only 3 tails. And on that note, he guessed that since the levels went up to 100, you wouldn't have 11 tails but after level 80, they would grow larger, perhaps. As he was still in his twenties, he still had a long way to go. Maybe time to get serious about training? Continuing to read his book, he got distracted as he heard a light sound of choking. Looking away for the moment, he glanced over at the adventurer next to him to see her struggling to swallow her bite of the sandwich. Reminded him somewhat of the time he ate Mochi as a child, back with his real parents. Not that he could remember much from back then, since he apparently had quite the traumatic experience. Seeing the fox tail wash it down with the tea, he was glad he decided to pour tea for the two of them, otherwise a smack to the gut would have been in order. Hearing her say she had recovered, Pwyll lightly exhaled as he put his book away and began rocking back on his chair, arms behind head and staring at the ceiling.
There wasn't really much to do. If he could stay in this room for maybe another two hours without incident, he would probably spend the night here. Since it was raining outside, he didn't want to move, and it made it hard to tell the time. His internal body clock was saying it was probably around three or four in the afternoon. Hearing movement again, he tilted his head enough to look at the fox tail, listening to what she had to say. Nodding as she said thanks, he offered no words since it was against his 'policy'. And then the name he already knew was introduced to him again. Nisha. Well, she probably did the same thing as last time and left the display off. Though, he had his turned off too. Made it feel more like reality. As for relaxing, well... He didn't really relax at all. Come to think of it, when was the last time he took off his armor? For longer than just jumping into a river and cleaning himself. Probably a month or longer. It wasn't really because he couldn't relax, just another of his own creeds.
Standing up and grabbing some more wooden rubble from a corner of the room, which he conveniently tidied up when he entered, he tossed it onto the fire and took his seat again. The fire would probably last indefinitely until put out, but who knows. Might be just like a real fire in that regard. Hearing that the adventurer, Nisha, next to him had been fighting all this time, his mind once again sank into the depths as he sighed mentally. He really did need to start training some more. If experience could be gained from sparring with other players, then by all means he would do it. But this still had game rules to it, so only defeating monsters would be considered as experience. Sitting back down into the same posture, rocking and leaning back in his chair with his left ankle resting atop his right knee and hands behind his head, he returned his gaze to the ceiling. What broke his gaze again was the sound of something being placed near him. Sitting up properly, he looked beside him to see a clear liquid inside of a flask. This was... not water. Giving a wry smile, he listened to Nisha talk before nodding and accepting the gift.
There was only one other time in Elder Tale he had gone drinking, and that was with the now strongest player, @dindeen. Back then he won in a drinking contest, but only because they were eating sweets at the same time. He could hold his liquor well, despite his small frame IRL. But still, Caer didn't appear very happy at losing, so they would undoubtedly have another drink sometime. He could go on and on about his drinking experience, but that would be a bore. Nodding to Nisha, he picked up his cup and extended it to the outstretched flask, letting the liquid fall into his cup. When it was full, he brought it back to face and lifted the bottom part of his visor. Taking a sniff, he could already tell how strong it was. Sipping it, he rolled the liquid around his tongue for a moment. A habit from working in real life. He did the same thing with all the other drinks he sampled, which was also why he could tolerate more than the normal person, on top of using mental techniques to hold back the effects of alcohol.
The taste did remind him of straight vodka, and he would probably put it on the shelf and suggest it to customers if it was stocked. Swallowing a mouthful, he let it slide down his throat followed by tilted his head up and letting out a somewhat heated breath. Drinking straight spirits always made his mouth tingle, similar to when drinking too much carbonated liquids in one go and you have to expel that built up breath in your throat and mouth. He didn't really have the taste buds for alcohol, but he would drink it when offered anyway. It felt rude to decline. If he had to give a different reason, then maybe the fact that men should be able to hold their liquor with a smile or straight face? Not that his face could be seen right now, but he sure hoped he appeared like a man from the bystander's point of view. Taking another sip, he realized he hadn't yet said his name when Nisha introduced herself. Now, how to avoid saying so. His mouth was exposed, but maybe he could just talk in a different language? Did Nisha remember his voice after all this time? Well, time to test that. Speaking in Japanese, he said the following.
「Thanks for the drink. You already know my name. I'll let you remember in your own time.」 He made sure his voice was low enough to be masculine, since it was usually androgynous, if not feminine.

Remembering in her own time, huh? Nisha wondered who this guy was, if she had some hint she might have figured it out, but since she had no real hint, she knew that she would most likely not find out until he gave something away. And since that was the case, she already lost interest in this guy, he had been nice enough, but Nisha was a bit tired and after what had happened last time as she forced the helmet of someone open, she knew that she would rather not try it again. And so she would not. Nisha was that easy a person, if there was something taht seemed like a hassle without any real chance of success or that would have no interesting outcome she just let it be. Last time she had forced someone to give away their appearance, she had done so because she had been overly curious about that person since they had been silent all the way, this guy in the meantime spoke up and even offered food to her, so he was okay, but too average for Nisha to much care about. Instead, she focused on eating and relaxing for now, there would be after all no need for a reply as long as she looked as if she was thinking about it, which she did not do overly much even though some names were juggled around and surfaced in her mind, ranging from landers to adventurers, females to males and then back to food. Her hand that was below her head moved and Nisha looked into the fire, turning away from the mystery person. Putting down the flask with the alcohol after filling his cup, she picked up her own and sipped a bit from it, feeling the taste on her tongue and how it ran down her throat. Time for some other food, maybe something sweet to get her mind going. Clicking through her menu she grabbed something out of mid air and held an apple in her hand, thanks to someone she had found a good place to pluck them and had taken some with her. they were even nicely durable and this, being the last one, had held up it´s relative freshness for a whole four days now. Biting into the apple, sweetness spread right away and filled her with that nice feeling of satisfaction that only sweets could give someone. A grin appeared on her face as she moved the hand holding the cup to her mouth and took another sip, shivering in delight as the sweetness from the apple mixed with the bitterness of the tea and then the alcohol as it ran down her throat. Phew. She sighed relieved once more and stretched her legs again, kicking a piece of wood into the fire to make it burn a bit more. It was not as cold in here as on the outside, but that did not mean that she did not enjoy the extra warmth from the fire, it felt really nice on her skin as it pearled over it and slowly permeated her very being, waves of heat slowly rising up and making her feel a bit sleepy, not yawn I am going to bed sleepy, but that tiredness when you feel like you had a good day and that taking a nap would not be the most terrible of ideas even though you wanted to do at least some more. 5 more minutes of being awake so to speak. Rubbing her eye with the back of her palm in which she held the apple, she took another bite and looked deeper into the flames as if she was seeing something in them, even though there was nothing but burning wood and the light of the flames. But in her mind she played with some thoughts, she really liked this area, the ruin of the castle was something that interested her and she would not mind to go exploring a little bit more. Find out how much of this place was really unusable and how difficult it could be to really reestablish something here, maybe have a little base camp or something and fortify stuff again. Maybe he could put up a request for something like that and see how many people would get together to get this thing back under control. It had always been a dream of Nisha to establish a base and then have some scenario that involved a siege or something like that. Would be badass if something like that could happen and made her want to call up some people to do it even more. But for now it was best to just scope out the area and see how much was broken and needed to replaced if she went through with it and did not lose interest in it like in the guy beside her. Taking another sip and another bite from the apple, she leaned back as well and closed her eyes as if she was napping, although the wagging of her tails, which were showing how happy she was that she might have found something to do over the next bit of time. Maybe it would be glorious in the end, with all the cool stuff that made a castle a castle, from a gate to a throne room to a dungeon and hidden passages only to be attacked by a huge army and be held by heroes who were trying to keep it safe, maybe to protect something even, be it their hard work or something grander. "Ah, having a castle would be cool." Nisha said silently but loud enough to break the semi silence being loud enough to be heard over the fire and the monsters communicating with each other in the distance, making Nisha wonder what they were saying to each other and what they had done with the former owners of this castle. Even it´s name sounded pretty epic after all, so there must definitely be a story or something to be found here. Emptying out her cup, she threw the rest of the apple into the fire and filled up her cup to about half way with the alcohol and offered it to the person sitting beside her and looking to the ceiling once more. Who knew, maybe she could enjoy this after all, even if it was drunk and not really conscious anymore. If only to be drunk enough to tell him all about her ambition and maybe find the first person to help her in recreating the castle to it´s former glory. It's every shameful fall, every mistake that I've made
Finishing his drink, Pwyll continued to hold the cup and left his visor open, tilting his head back and staring at the roof for a while, zoning out. He needed something to occupy his time, keep his attention. Or someone who would drag him along into different things. He's been wandering around for so long that he hasn't had much human contact. Probably another reason why he was so silent. He still wanted to improve his image and be seen as a reliable man rather than a cutesy girl or boy who people wouldn't listen to. An authoritative figure, so to speak. It would be hard to do that if others weren't seeing his actions anyway, so probably about time to start partying up with others again. Still, how was he suppose to find a party without talking? If there was a bulletin board or something, that might make it easier. Or if there was still a chat system like other games. Though, having been in Elder Tale this long, it was definitely getting to be less game like and more reality to him. His balance assisting tails, for one, were now an integral part of himself. Speaking of which, they needed a stretch.
Hearing the sound of an apple being bitten, Pwyll glanced over at Nisha. Maybe she would fall asleep eventually. If not, maybe she would leave and he would have a chance to freshen up by taking off his armor, since he rarely did. His tails were all numb. Not to mention, his ears had been flattened against his head for so long that it made him somewhat uncomfortable. There were many odd things about this world. It truly was the same as reality. That feeling of the material, and the feeling of it against your skin. Even the weight he was carrying was sometimes quite heavy. After all, he was lugging around four separate chains, full plate armor and two swords at all times. And to think, he originally planned to carry eight blades on his person. Maybe if he got enough experience, he could get another two chains, attach them to his shoulders, elbows and wrists, then carry the last two in each hand. That would be one interesting fighting style to swing all of those at the same time. Hearing the sound of wood hitting together in the fire and the resulting crackling, he sat up properly.
Letting the drink settle within him, Pwyll put his fingers to his chin and began tilting his head around, trying to get rid of that stiff feeling. Hearing the girl speak again about having a castle, he tilted his head at her and kept his lips closed. Looking up slightly, he thought about that. Owning a castle. Of course, they would have to clear all the mobs out indefinitely, fix it up, hire people to maintain and guard it and so on. That was if it was for the castle they were currently standing in. If they took the time with a group of adventurers, maybe they could make their own mini-castle? Or at least a fort somewhere using wood? It was an amusing idea. Wood reinforced with metal to create the walls and barricades and everything else they needed. How long would that take? Humoring himself inside his head, he accepted the drink, holding out his cup until it was half full. Taking a sip, he leaned back. 「A Castle... A fort guarded by a group of friends.」 Saying this in English with the normal British accent, he casually let a smile appear on his lips. It was an appealing idea.
Only he didn't have any friends. Nor did he have time to create such a monstrosity. Or... did he? Depending on the amount of people helping, one could be made in a week, or less. It also depended on the size and complexity. Taking another like sip, he ignored the taste of the liquid that rolled over his tongue and let it seep into his stomach, releasing a warm feeling as his blood vessels relaxed and began to flow better. Before building a castle, maybe a good massage would help. He remembered learning how to do it. If he recalled, he still had that book in his memory. Calling it to the front of his mind, he glanced over the pages within. If he wanted to actually use any of the techniques, he would have to spend an hour or two reading it properly from the mental images saved in his head. Taking another sip, he realized how strong it was. It wasn't affecting him now, but he guessed that with an entire bottle or two, he would definitely be a happy drunk. He wouldn't be a goner, but he would still be slurring and losing balance.
That is, if he didn't use his mind of body tricks to fool his body into being sober. Though the major downside of that, as he found out with Caerbannog, is that he just makes it worse when his mind gives up deceiving the body. The result of that night was him collapsing, nearly vomiting, and unable to tell what was up or down. He won against Caer by the skin of his teeth. Maybe less food and he would have been fine. Turning his attention back to the present, he took another sip from his cup, which was nearing empty. There was nothing to do, was there? Come to think of it, there was no reason to hide his tails in front of this person. They already knew what race he was. That is, if they remembered him at all. If there was specific armor for tails, he would probably buy it and equip it to his tails. Heck, maybe he could forge it himself as a blacksmith? He should look into that. Standing up for a moment, he focused and adjusted his armor near the tailbone. Soon after, three tails slide out and begin stretching. One by one, he started grooming them while reclining in his old chair.

Seeing how he reacted to her rambling made her wonder if he was maybe a bit more interesting than she gave him credit for. After all, only those with a little bit of a dream inside of them were even able to fathom the implications her blurted out words had, all the work they would have to put in and the things they would have to research. Nisah had already thought about warding talismans to keep areas safe, maybe even cleanse areas and something like a castle, some castle like this one would definitely be quite interesting. Maybe she could add some contract in that the game did not spawn monsters in here, but she still needed to figure that out. After all, she could not really have the game, the concept itself sign... right? Although she had already thought about talking to some people if they thought that... Nisha sighed and took another sip, feeling the familiar heat from the alcohol flood her system and slowly overtake her senses, making her think further than before, allowing her to really dream. Her plan was to create an avatar. Not for a player although that might be an early stage of research but rather for a npc, not a lander but a real npc that could answer questions about the code about the big question why they were here and if someone badgered Nisha enough she could maybe even ask it how to get out. Not that she would normally ask that kind of thing since she did not feel like leaving anyway. But back to the topic, having a castle was definitely something only those interested in adventure would even bother to think about it. Closing one eye, she pondered for a moment if she felt like talking with this guy, after all, he at least somewhat sounded like a guy in that bulky armor... But first, Nisha put the mug beside her chair and stood up, she needed to stretch her legs a little and so she began some basic stretches, feeling her muscles that at least felt sore in her mind slowly relax and soften again. Her tails were slowly shivering as if the exhaustion slowly flew off of them like droplets of water, which would have been possible if Nisha had build up much of a sweat, but it had been more exhausting in the sense that grinding is always exhausting if you had to click yourself and see the person that you control kill stuff. "Friends, huh?" Nisha half asked, still focused on her little training routine of stretching every part of her body a little at least. It was definitely a good idea, Nisha did not know how many friends were under them, but she knew quite some people, her guild was the biggest income of people on her list, but once again the question was if they would even come if Nisha asked them to. Real friends were difficult to come by even more so in this game were even though most had now agreed that pking was mostly useless and kill stealing did not really do much and lead nowhere, people were still wary of other people, even more so after hearing of the feeling they had when dying or being betrayed by those they had helped. Nisha definitely did not like the rumors that dying felt bad and had a new reason not to try it out, even though she definitely had already played with the thought at least. After all, since you were revived there was little to lose, or so she had thought before, but now... And only to come back to the castle, dying a good death, epicly defending someone or doing a suicide mission for the last ride so to speak, that was the kind of death Nisha could get behind, just getting killed definitely felt like a waste. Finishing up her stretches and slightly moaning from the relaxation and how good she suddenly felt now that the alcohol circulated pretty well and she felt at least a bit sated and had company to boot that looked a bit better now, she could not keep it bottled up anymore. She really enjoyed working out some days and then just letting all the tiredness flow out of her body and pearl off of her. "Yeah, guess friends would be nice if they come to help as well. In a game, the word friend is so much of an easier connection after all, one click and you are 'friends' with someone." Chuckling a little at that pessimistic outlook of hers that was a bit out of character for her, even more so since she was feeling pretty good, but she could not help herself, several of the people she had on that 'friend' list had vanished or were not answering her messages anymore, having dropped off the face of the earth and never bothered to tell her or anyone else she knew. Narihama, hanelli and bunji just being a few and people she had considered either friends or rivals, not that she could have changed that. Narihama had been pretty competitive, hanelli had been quite friendly and bunji had dragged her out of a house filled with her worst nightmare, a real haunted house with ghosts. Sighing, she she leaned her body to the side and felt her spine click back into place or at least had the feeling. "But just imagine this castle filled with adventurers armed to the teeth and an army of enemies on the outside, the smell of battle and the sounds of cracking stones and dying adventurers and monster alike. I wonder if there are monster who actually have attacks that target structures. Like mole people." Nisha laughed out loud at that idea and yet in her mind she was already setting more and more goals. At first sight and even after a bit closer inspection Nisha usually seemed easygoing and as if she did not really care about anything, but if you went deep, you saw her for who she was, a planning person who liked to throw people off with how she was thinking and working behind her bubbly appearance. And even though she was indeed acting mostly just on the present and took things in stride as they came along, she actually was following goals. Adding and taking away as they came to fruition or into being. Usually there were quite some ridiculous ones mixed in with those and some pretty dark ones. "Hmm... I wonder if houses can be enchanted, maybe it would do best as a guild home or something? Or maybe an alliance headquarter. After all, there is that new thing that guilds can form alliances with each other." Now fully in talking out loud her immediate thoughts, she deep down wondered if he would respond and maybe throw some stuff into the bag as well. Maybe redeem himself a bit more in Nisha´s eyes, maybe even far enough that she bothered to ask for his name again or guess half heartedly. It's every shameful fall, every mistake that I've made
Finishing the last of the drink in his hand, he placed the cup on the ground and flexed his tails. They weren't too big, and with there only being a few, it was like a cushion. Maybe he could shape them into a blanket when he reached nine tails. That would make for a comfortable sleep in the wild. Remembering that he was still in his armor, he stood up and put his hands on the ground. Getting into a sort of feline posture, he stretched his back and tails at the same time, causing a bunch of clicking. Standing up straight again, he sat down. The alcohol was loosening him up. Unlike the time where he held it back to finish a contest, this time he had no intention of tricking his mind. Then he would also know when to stop. With his mouth visor still open, his lips were still visible, but his face from the nose up was covered. Unsure whether to close the mouth piece, he couldn't just close it if offered another drink. It would be rude to decline, especially for a reason such as "I don't want to expose my face". Not that he particularly had to hide his face from this person who had already seen it. Even if it was only several seconds. Especially when their faces were touching. Remembering the moment, he hidden cheeks went slightly red. Not just from the alcohol. Lamenting, he turned his chair around and sat back down, straddling it.
It was easier to sit this way with tails poking out the back of his armor. Listening to the fox tail (other than himself) start talking, with a greater quantity of words than previously, he could tell that the alcohol was working its wonders again. Well, not that he didn't mind. The silence was painful when you were with others. He was the type to listen to others conversations in the first place. But, perhaps this one he would actually join in on. He was the only other person, anyway, and he could blame it on the alcohol come sunrise. As a note, it was probably nearing dinner time. Thinking of his response, he figured out what he wanted to say. 「My friend list consists of three people. One of them my brother. On the outside, friends are people you meet and talk to. On the internet, friends are those who share your interests. Both are good, but true friends are probably easier to find on the internet, where you can bare your self without reprimands in reality, such as being alienated from your circle. That said, I've always been a solo player.」 Speaking with his androgynous voice, he felt that he had said everything on that topic that he wanted to. Listening to what she had to say next, he could help but smile. It truly was a nice thought. A group of like-minded people fighting for a collective goal, sort of like aiming for an achievement which grants no rewards besides satisfaction and adventure.
Resting his arms on the back of the chair, which was now the front since he was sitting on it backwards, he put his chin on top. If he had to talk, he could just lift up his head, maybe use one hand to do slight gestures like what one would usually do unconsciously in reality. Voicing a random thought, he spoke up on the matter of defending a castle. 「If there are no monsters to storm it, maybe you could declare war on People of the Land. I'm sure they would be more than obliged to lay siege for you. Though the thought of clearing it out with an army of adventurers and claiming it is more appealing to me.」 Saying that far, he wondered what the response would be. He was making small talk by responding to the comments he was hearing. Pouring himself another drink from his own bottle, he down a full cup and let out a "khee" sound to clear that fuzziness in his throat. Pouring another, he offered some to Nisha before placing the bottle on the ground again. Downing that few mouthfuls without batting an eyelid (not that they could be seen), he could feel it spreading to his blood stream straight away. It was somewhat relaxing. He didn't really drink in reality, and when he did, it was mostly beer and lolly drinks. But here, there was nothing like that. Just pure spirits or some rough mead. He didn't mind. It reminded him of his real parents having their occasional drink.
Hearing what was more akin to mumbling this time, Pwyll listened in to what Nisha was saying. 「Wouldn't a town of Adventurers be more interesting than something military orientated? With the amount of things you can craft, you could just gather Adventurers and have them build a town around the Castle. Even build walls. I prefer games where you build a populace from scratch rather than being given something. More satisfying to build relations than being told the people around you are now those who are to give their lives for you.」 Saying that, he downed his cup and placed it back on the ground. Yep, he was definitely feeling it now. He wasn't a lightweight, but he did stay in that "tipsy" zone for a long time. Thinking of something, he had the sudden urge to ask it. Standing up and walking towards the brooding fox tail, Pwyll knelt in front of her and held up a closed hand, one finger extended towards the sky. A number. 「Choose. What would you rather change, "The World" or "Yourself"?」 Changing his fingers from one to two as he spoke, he kept his hand up, waiting for a response. His androgynous voice was clear and not slurred in the least, but his tone was rather semi-serious. He didn't have a clear expression from his lips alone, either. He was probably within arms reach of the fox tail, but no closer than that. Also, he choice didn't have to be answered with the first two options. One could just say "I don't know".

Three people, huh? Well, that was not too bad, at least there were three people on his list, Nisha knew enough loners who had less or even none on theirs. Well, not that Nisha had let that be until they had at least her name on it, but since he had at least some people to call his friends, she was sure he would be alright. Smiling a bit to herself, she declined the new alcohol, anymore and she would really have to take a prolonged break. Wagging with her tails, she tried out how good she still was, maybe she was ready to fight her way out again without getting into trouble after this after all, spending a night in this castle was not really on her top priority list after all. But really, this guy was saying some weird things, like finding true friends. It was a funny concept to Nisha in itself and she voiced it as well, chuckling as he said it, there was no malice in it, but definite amusement. "True friends, huh? Well, to each their own, but in my opinion there are not true friends and there is no difference between rl friends and in game friends.
Sure you can open up to people on the internet easier, but you can never trust them to do the same since you can never really find out if it is the truth unlike with rl friends. But true friends can not be found through either mean, no friendship is ever lasting or ever really true, not even a person can be true friends with itself, as it says in the bible: The mind is willing, but the flesh is weak. Not even you yourself are ever truely honest with yourself, no one can be in the end and it gets only more difficult with someone else. Compromises have to be made, things you don´t like have to be overlooked and you will never find anyone with exactly the same interests as you. The closest you can get is maybe a best friend, but even then it will never be without compromise." Grinning, she looked up at the other person. "But that is by no means something bad. No, it is something good, without differences there would be no fun. And each new friend brings something new to the table, something else interesting and... Well, there is not really a word for it, but I always call it some sparkle to your life." With the last sentence she had suddenly livened up from her half limp state and looked ready for anything again, as if she had found her own sparkle again. her tails were now wagging enthusiastically and showing signs of excitement. She may not know who this guy was, but by now she did not even mind anymore, it was less about that and more about just talking anyway and it seemed like that was what he wanted too. Hiding behind his armor and all. Nisha was not above giving him exactly that. Settling back a little to calm down again, there was still a grin on her face as he went on about the fortress and his thoughts on what would be better. Again, he made pretty valid points and yet there felt the finesse and the excitement for Nisha who somehow craved the new and not yet seen, wanting to see every facette of this world before she had to go back and take as much from this place as she could with her when she had to go back. And his perception of time was an interesting point too, start a village all from scratch and build around it, most likely wait for the town to grow and so on. There was a certain type of romance in there, but nothing Nisha was interested in. "It all sounds so slow what you say, although it may be interesting, yes, cleaning out this place with an army should be interesting, but that would only work once and if you somehow were able to create something to lure monsters or spawn them directly, this could become an endless dungeon that would be much more interesting than the normal kind of fields and dungeons since not the world would control it, but the world would bend to the players will. Isn´t that much more romantic than waiting who knows how many years for a town to be created and grow? Sure, the foundation could be laid pretty easily with enough manpower, but most of the cities like london and such are already not all that populated with people of the land and they don´t seem to live much faster than we are, so we would be gray and broken before anything substantial would fill these halls." Nisha had uttered her opinion for now as much as she could and as far along how she truely felt without some of the ickier bits like pking and who would in the end own all this. Since it would be a pretty good place to level it would also become a hot battlefield forever between the groups who wanted to get stronger, kind of like a capture the hill situation with a huge benefit waiting for those who held it the longest. Listening closely to her surroundings she wondered if someone else would join them at some point to take a more neutral point of view and create a three way discussion. It was nearly like all philosophical debates where one had to see it from each point of view, although that did not always mean there was just three points of view. But what they were talking about was easy enough to divide into three, although two may just be enough to create enough diversity in the end to arrive at some kind of end with all of them ending at the same place. As everything did. Always. Not hearing any sounds beyond the muttering of the reptilian monsters scurrying the corridors, she wondered suddenly how many of the people on her friend list were actually friends and not just people she had only met along the way, wondering how many of these 'friendships' were one sided made her a bit gloomy. After all, you never knew if feelings were reciprocated or not. Or if they had changed, after all, the game had been going for quite some time, how many of them had already forgotten her and how beautiful was it that such things were as fleeting as life. Sitting back on her chair with a satisfied smile, she waited for his arguments to pour out and wondered if he would get even more interesting than he already was. As for his question, it was a bit preposterous and Nisha wondered if she should answer it even, but in the end, she wondered what kind of a person she would be for not at least voicing her opinion on that as well. After all, for her at least it was a pretty easy answer. "The world will change when I do, or at least my perspective of it and I will see the world differently and have to react if the world changes. As to what I would rather... Both at the same time, if they don´t move in unison, one will break in the end or end up being what breaks the other. The question in itself is weird since I can not myself affect the world itself, I can only change how I see the world and push the limits of the world as I go along, the easiest example being going from a weaker dungeon to a high as I level up. It happens naturally and to everyone. As long as there is no limit to either and I don´t mean a level cap, I can enjoy myself to the very end." Tilting her head a bit and smiling at him gently as if she had just warmly scolded him, she began to wonder why he was even asking that question. "How would you have answered?"Words: 1342 Tags: PwyllWeapon: Nishan(Scar) Armor: Nishanat (Daybreak) Accessoires: Nishani (Keepsake)

It's every shameful fall, every mistake that I've made
Kneeling on the ground while listening to the Samurai's response to his World or Self question, Pwyll kept his expose lips neutral without smiling or frowning in the least. Her answer was surely not what he had expected. After all, not many people would choose to change both the world and themselves given just the two options without variations. From her answer, the Swashbuckler deduced that the one in front of him was the one to consider the "world" as the environment they were in, or their perspective on the things they experienced externally was considered to be their "world". Her "self" would be how she perceives herself within that setting, that "world" she observes. Viewed like that, it was obvious that changing one would affect the other. However, although Pwyll could see it rom this perspective, it was not quite what he thought.
「For me to answer, I would first have to define what "World" and "Self" refer to. I understand, to a degree, what you perceive. However, to myself, the "World" would be the current planet, its inhabitants, culture, ecosystem, social structure, food chain, everything, and including its predicted future. "Self" would be everything I am, everything I was, and everything I can be.」 Standing up and bringing his chair closer while still getting a good warmth from the fire, without intruding on Nisha's personal space, Pwyll sat down as he had before, leaving him about half a meter from her face. Reason for this? So he could use a quiet voice instead of having to speak loudly and allow the crackling fire to be a soothing background noise which complimented the sound of rain which had started outside.
「As for what my answer is, well. I can simply say "I don't know". After all, to change myself, it would mean altering what I was set out to do. It may open pathways that I previously couldn't do, it may close off pathways I use to be able to do, or even shorten my life span if things go wrong. If I was to change the world, then there would be a lot to fix. Keeping it within the realm of Elder Tale, it would mean influencing the development of the game as a whole, towards a goal that would be near unattainable. For example, to prevent this world from falling in to chaos, it would be necessary to create a better social structure, fix the infrastructure which is falling to pieces, or even go as far as uniting all People of the Land across the globe into a single collective. For myself within the game, it would mean achieving the highest level in every class, which would evidently lead to my isolation from my peers as the time required to do so would leave no time to connect.」
Saying this much, Pwyll took a short break and stoof up, feeling the alcohol running in his blood. It was a feeling like floating slightly. Peaking into the darkened corridor, he checked for any other presence. There wasn't anything at the moment, but he had a feeling that the density of monsters was increasing. Soon, he would have to head back out and fight, but not yet. In his current mood, it would be more thrilling to enter combat when there was a sense of danger that overpowered the effects of alcohol. On top of that, the person accompanying him may be tempted to team up. Thinking of teaming up, the Swashbuckler sat back down on his seat facing the Samurai. Has she remembered my name yet? Well, she'll remember before we part ways. Whether she wants to or not. Leaving it at that, Pwyll realized he was still fully loaded with equipment. His footsteps were making loud noises.
Standing up again, the Swashbuckler started to loosen up. In particular, he decoupled the chains at both sides of the waist and forearms, causing them to now swing freely, attached to both shoulders and both wrists. Since they each had a different glow to suit their element, it was a strange sight. It also looked rather impractical, but Pwyll didn't mind. Instead, they were more for binding or striking a target, or attaching to both the scabbards and blades separately. Truly an odd look. One had to question how it was possible to fight like that, but by combining it into two long chains, it became possible to use them and grappling hooks. In any case, it was the wearer's whim to have four chains, so the glowing just made him slightly easier to see. Or at least give some color to that pure white armor he was wearing. To further loosen up, he would have to decouple some of his armor. Deciding not to, he sat back down.
While he was doing this loosening up and sitting down, Pwyll continued to speak about the previous topics they had. 「Friends. Well, I prefer to keep my circle small and scrutinize over those I let in. Keeping a distance from those a barely know, and only really knowing those who actually attempt to earn my friendship, be it online or in real life. After all, I won't put in the effort if it won't be reciprocated. That said, the occasional fling is good too. A way to release stress without commitments to friendship or breaking something you have.」 With that said on the topic of friends, the next to respond to was the one of his long-winded village building. 「True, to be committed for a long time would be difficult. At most, I would only spend probably 3 years on it, and it would be filled with hardships and building connections. If you think of it like entering college, it doesn't sound too far-fetched. Though that said, traveling with a close group of maybe ten or twenty people, sort of like a mercenary group, would probably be better suited to me. Though at present, this appearance of mine makes it hard to develop trust. I am an enigma, after all.」
There really did need to be a third viewpoint for these conversations. With rifts beginning to build between their two standpoints, it was getting difficult to find common ground. Not that it was a bad thing, but having a third opinion would be handy. Unfortunately, the Warwick Castle didn't seem to be a popular hunting ground, especially by solo players and those heading out at this time of day in this kind of weather. 「And now I'll ask. You up for a temporary party? The respawn of the monsters is probably enough by now. As much as I would love to continue talking by this warm fire, I eventually want to find a place to make camp before heading off for more exploration, or head back to my personal house since it's been a while. And if you do agree, then maybe you'll actually remember what my name is. And the events behind our first meeting which you have yet to remember.」 Saying this much, Pwyll stood up and began stretching. Clearing up the mess he had left, he stored what he could in his inventory and disposed of the rest onto the fire he put his hands near.
Waiting and listening to counter arguments and confirmation about forming a party, as well as the issue with his name, Pwyll waited patiently. Whether or not they teamed up, he would be fine. It just meant a little longer, or little less time spent dawdling before heading off for his next camping spot. If he headed home, he could at least sleep in a proper bed for once and head out camping again later. Living sparsely was interesting in its own way, after all.
These are the scars that have brought me where I am

Sighing, she wondered why people had such a weird system when it came to this stuff and made it needlessly complicated, even though she may have said that it was her answer, it was not really. It was everyones answer if they wanted or not, each action has a reaction and every move you make, every breath you take, your very existence and every thought has some kind of impact on the world and yourself. If you were to breath the usable air would be less and the whole amount would be used up sooner or later affecting everything around you, if you did not breath you died and became food and nourishment for everything around you. But then again... Maybe he was not all that far off, after all, saying that he did not know was much better than giving a straight answer and may mean that he had realized it, but just did not know how to act on it. Either way it was an okay answer and one that Nisha could respect and at least not completely deny... Even though she definitely did not like this kind of defeatist kinda reply. She sighed and wondered if she knew someone who gave such whimpy answers and why it seemed like she was already thinking of too many people who were acting like this in the game? Weirdly enough the cutoff from the world had only multiplied these kinds of people and no one looked beyond their own nose. Only a select few were genuinely trying to have fun in this forced playground that supplied them easily with everything one could ever need. And even if they went full out, they were still only small existences and the world would rebuke them if they went too far. "You say all that stuff about infrastructure and all that, but in the end, our time in this game is limited and we are only so many, everything seems to take longer lately and you have to put in real effort to create things so that they don´t break as easily anymore. So even if we do plan to fix all the things in this world, you will have to have at least a few hundred people behind you and a huge amount of money and you can´t get either by saying you don´t know. You have to get involved in one way or another for anything to change, or rather change it to what you envision it to be. Otherwise the world and you will change without you doing anything. As such I had rather try to change it to what I want and if something breaks... Well, as they say, failure is only another step toward getting somewhere. So... what I wanted to say is, get your head outta the gutter and kick down some doors and stuff." Laughing, she wondered why he was so twitchy, standing up and sitting down standing up and sitting down... Maybe the alcohol had not sit with him well? Some people just can´t take alcohol, thought the person who could barely drink anything without having a hangover the next day. But as usual, she would rather look at other people than herself. And so, she only wondered why he was making such a ruckus and if he would ever pull off his armor, after all, it was pretty clear now that this room was definitely a safety zone and no monster would enter. Which made her wonder even more since most people had some kind of vanity clothing that they could put over their armor, but this guy did not have one piece of such, even though he did not have too shabby of armor. Made her wonder if he was one of these people who liked the shiny armors more than showing off. Looking down at her, she had taken the third way, neutral clothing without much shine or shimmer. Nisha liked not standing out at least in this world. And so far she had somewhat success with it, even though she broke with her own rules from time to time and wore something like a maid outfit or a fancy dress. It was quite something if she may say so herself and even though her body was slender it fit into those two outfits like a glove and looked quite well. Leaning back with her hands behind her head, her eyes followed the other person in the room that was pacing around until he sat down again. Maybe he was worried that the monsters would block their path? After all there were quite some sounds out there and it seemed like they were indeed amassing outside each of the ways, just waiting for them to step outside of the room. Well, Nisha had some plans about that herself, but maybe she should just ask if he wanted to take care of these with her. She could not see his expression, but she could at least imagine that he was a bit nervous. Nisha was not, since she as always did not only think inside of the box and was at least leveled enough to stand around inside a monster horde of this level for a bit and get out relatively well. Not that she would just stand around... As he started to talk again, she wondered if she should laugh or tilt her head in puzzlement, this was about the first time someone had said with profoundness and what seemed like he really believed it, that they were an enigma a riddle per se and that just because he was wearing an armor that was hiding his face, one click and she would be able to see his name, so there was little mystery to be had there and she did not know if what he had said so far would make much for a riddle as well. thinking back on it, he had been interesting, but had there really been enough for anyone to think of him as a mystery? Could anyone ever really be a mystery if it was pretty easy talking with people and learning about them? "I see, an enigma, huh? Well, to each their own, but in my opinion it is better to at least get to know each and every person I cross ways with and see who sticks. For example...
Let´s see, that one guy, he was somewhat like you, hiding his face and all, he was really shy and all that. but I just did not give up and in the end, I did not only find out who he was, but there was even a little incident and I would say we became friends. I haven´t talked to that one in a while, but he was really funny in his own way and even though not an enigma he was really interesting. Hmm... I guess what I want to say is, that I would rather be an open book and get to know other people than hide inside a shell and let things just happen around me. And as I say this, it would be pretty pathetic of me not to say yes to the party. So, wanna rest a bit longer or go get them? Seems like there are enough for both of us anyway. As for your name... Let´s just say that I have a good idea what kind of person you are and that I can not say that I don´t like you. In the end, if you want to stay hidden, I will show you some courtesy and not pry since last time I did was a learning experience." Laughing, she looked back into the fire and wondered how long it would take to burn out and if she should add some wood if they were to stay. And just as he was, Nisha was wondering about sleeping too, she could only really sleep well if she was at least two stories up or even better on a tree. It had become like that since whatever happened that put them in these bodies. Before she had not liked heights at all, but then again, this body was totally different from her old one, so it was normal that something like that woudl change too. Well, now, would he want to raze the castle now or ratehr let his alcohol go to his head first? It would be interesting to see either.
