It's every shameful fall, every mistake that I've made
A little ways off from Londinium, inside the forest, stood a black haired adventurer with purple, obsidian eyes brandishing a black one-handed long sword with a single edge. Standing in a clearing probably 15m in diameter, it made the perfect place to be swinging around a sword. The fully black sword made of cheap iron was being held with one hand and swung repeatedly at different angles whilst the wielder took a step forward with each swing, moving back in between, practicing. The person in question had wavy black hair below shoulder length with a nearly pale white complexion. Standing about 6 foot tall, he wasn't even breaking a sweat despite being in the clearing for the last few hours or so. The time was barely past 10 in the morning. Although it was a male by gender, the swordsman had an androgynous look to them. If not for the lack of a bust size, one could easily mistake him for a female. Sporting a long sleeve shirt underneath a jacket and wearing dark red jeans, there were four accessories of the same type. Four chains were on him, one on either side of the waist like fashion, the other two wrapped around the forearms for quick attachment to weapons.
The adventurer with the name Pwyll was a swashbuckler. He had been out since early in the morning. He didn't really spend much time in the cities as he tended to sleep at the inns, grab supplies and leave early in the morning, and sometimes not come back for days. There was no particular reason for doing this, but he was starting to like camping outdoors, having nothing but food supplies with him and seeing how long he can last in the wilderness. Recently, he had been forgoing combat to experience the outdoors, and he had seen the consequences. People he knew from the same time he started were now far ahead of him in level. It was time to start catching up. But rather than straight farming, he wanted to improve his personal skills with a sword. In the very beginning after getting trapped in this world with his brother, they went out to experience combat. The result was learning how much he sucked with a weapon. It was something akin to a toddler shaking around a toy it was excited about. Sure, he had improved, but he needed to get better.
Adding in a few tiny leaps to his stepping, Pwyll imagined there was a target in front of him that he was attacking. As he did so, his tails swayed and moved naturally. He had adjusted to using them quite well. With three tails sticking out of his tailbone area, they floated around and even stood on end when he stiffened up. When he moved, they went snake-like by following like a wave instead of moving like a limb. It was nice and fluid, and helped him a lot with his balance. No doubt, if he was sent back to the real world this instant, he probably wouldn't be able to walk properly since he would lack a tail. He never once used the racial magic to hide his tail or ears, so they were always around. His ears were flat against his hair half the time, but were currently sticking up and matching his emotions. Since he wasn't particularly thinking, they were in a default mode which you typically see all the time, instead of bending around or sticking up. Doing a three slash combo, each with a step forward, Pwyll finished it with a forth horizontal slash and step where he spun 360.
The spin was to add power to the final strike, but it also meant wasting time to do so, which may be fatal depending on the opponent. It would have been easier if he had an opponent, but with the mobs in the area, they either died too quickly or would be a pain if he got hit by them too much. Stopping for a short while, he stood dead still and closed his eyes and he thought. He had been learning mental tricks and improving his memory capacity and memorization for the last few years. That also included learning how to recall previous knowledge, though he didn't succeed very well with that part. Taking a deep breath, he flicked the switch in his mind to start his ability to recall knowledge he's memorized. It was nothing near perfect, and had heaps of restrictions to it, but he had done well in reality. Using an image of a liquid rainbow dripping onto a circuit board, he let the single drop flow and illuminate the entire circuit. Mentally, until that rainbow, aurora like color faded from the circuit, he would keep his memorization and recollection at its strongest.
Opening his eyes, what flashed before him was images of what he had previously seen. A television show of a sword fight. Next was a character in a game who floated around the battlefield with a sword as if dancing. Another was of an anime character fighting with dual swords. Typically, Pwyll, or rather Yuzuki would memorize books and then re-read them at a later time inside his head. On occasion, he would watch something and memorizing, or unconsciously memorize it if he saw it enough times, but only after he had learned techniques for keeping memories longer and more vividly. After maybe a minute of this, he quickly got to moving his body while it was sticking in his head. The circuits in his mind were one by one fading to monochrome. Renewing his slashing, he imitated the free flowing style which was liquid on motion, having actions carry through one after the other and, if he had another opponent, would use the deflection of an attack to swing his blade even harder to the other side. Continuing like this for about fifteen minutes, he stopped as he began sweating. The circuits were all monochrome and dry now.

Ren wandered the woods at the outskirts of the Londinium district, with his hands relaxed entwined at the back of his head. His wolf ears pointing straight up, listening for any excitement nearby. His tail, currently not moving, hanging right above the ground. Ren's day was quiet, and quite boring to be honest, so he went out looking for some excitement. He really didn't want to go kill monsters again, which was what he'd been doing the past couple of days. Although he was still a little clumsy with a sword, he was getting better. He was getting used to the weight of the blade, he had a solid image of how much damage he did with a single strike, and he could activate his abilities like they were a part of him. He had his gun holstered, but as he thought about his fighting using it, he grabbed hold of it for a second. He still wasn't quite used to the gun, and it's slow reloading was a real bother. He had an idea of making a holster which auto-loads the gun after putting it back in, but that's be a pretty tough thing to make. Ahh well, that's a thing for later. He sharpened his ears as he heard the sound of a sword swinging at nothing. Surely, it wouldn't be a normal monster. He slowly got closer to the sound, and as he looked past a bush in the way, he saw a young man training on his own. Although quite a feminine face for as far as he could see from that distance, he still kinda felt like he was a man. Checking out his level, he saw a clear difference between the two. He was way higher in level than Ren, but he was looking for something to do, so he walked up to him and said: "Hi there, you can't really kill the air y'know?" Knowing he'd probably be found odd, or weird, he didn't really care, at least he had someone to talk to.

Taking a stroll outside of Londinium Bailin noticed a chap standing, waving about sword. From a distance it looked like a straight and simple long sword, but something felt off. Walking further to take a quicker peek Bailin noticed someone that resembled Ren walking up to the chap. Judging from the reaction the sword waving chap gave, Ren had shouted something but Bailin was too far to be able to hear. ‘Well, this could be interesting and I still need to watch a sword in action, so why not do both?’ he thought to himself, looking for a nice spot near a tree where he could sit down and relax while observing the two of them. Silently he hoped the two would have a friendly match or just make a show out of it, like a peacock showing its feathers, on the other hand it would be interesting if the two would go at it and kill each other, though Bailin probably had to help Ren if he couldn’t help soothe things so the two of them wouldn’t fight at all.
Finding a nice spot close enough to hear what the two were saying but not too obvious as to be made out directly, Bailin sat down with a soft sigh and went to his task at hand: observing the two who would hopefully fight for fun, so he could learn the use of swords and use that knowledge to work on one of his projects. ‘Perhaps this could work as well….’ Bailin thought as he activated the Trained Eye skill, hoping it would allow him to read the movements of both, just to make sure nothing too bad would happen. And if they did go for a mock fight, he could hopefully follow the movements of the swords and thus take in more information on the ‘how’ of the weapons.
WC 311 OC: Bailin is just going to sit and watch so I guess this is kinda my bit (unless you two are going to try and kill each other ;)). So, just go post and don't wait for me and such. And thanks for letting me watch ;).

It's every shameful fall, every mistake that I've made
Pwyll stood there, eyes unfocused, standing with a straight posture and sword to his side. His mind was lagging. Was it a result of being in the game instead of reality? Was there a delay between the mind and the body? In the real world, he did often get tired afterward and have to relax, but never did he have to shut off his mind for a while. Perhaps it was a drawback to using it here. After all, this was the first time he attempted it in Elder Tale. He would have to start practicing his memory techniques more often. Let it get adjusted to his new environment. The only problem was a lack of when and where to use it. Coming back to his senses, he realized his ears had heard a voice. It took his mind a few moments to process that information. Was he just rusty?
Turning to face the newcomer, Pwyll tilted his head slightly. What did they say? Something about cutting the air. No, it was killing the air. It seems his bilingual talents got mixed up as well. Bringing his mind back to the proper state, he cleared his throat and spoke with his usual androgynous voice. 「I can't cut the air, but it sure can cut me if it wanted.」 Saying that much, he sheathed his sword and began stretching his limbs. He needed books. But where would a library be? Books would probably be expensive beyond belief in Elder Tale because of the costs of making it, plus the effort the scribe has to put in. Looking at the new arrival, Judging by their equipment, they were just starting off. One of those late starters who secluded themselves away from others until they could come to grips with the situation they had been thrown in. For himself, he was ecstatic to be in a new body and to have tails. And fox ears, for that matter.
Bowing lightly, Pwyll introduced himself. 「I know there are status bars we can see, but formalities are still important. Greetings. I'm Pwyll.」 Having said that, he waited for a response before doing anything else. Not that there was much else to do. He wanted to keep practicing how to handle a sword, and going after monsters would be best now that he had 'recovered' that information from his head. The next thing to do would probably find someone skilled with their blade and 'record' their movements to play it back later in his head. It would be perfect if there was a monster, or Lander who he could copy. It would still take practice. Maybe becoming a copycat swordsman would make for an interesting fight.
Looking at the adventurer, he noticed the weapon they had equipped. He was equipped quite bulky himself with the chains and swords. Thinking for a moment, he could take this chance to train with another. And so he made a suggestion. 「Would you like to spar with me? It doesn't have to land blows. I can use the flat sides of my weapons, and my level is rather higher than yours, so you don't have to hold back too much.」

Ren liked the idea of some more training to be hnest, and he could certainly use the excitement. Thinking about what good this fight could bring him, he thought of the improvements in his sword skill. "Alright, I'll take you on, swords only I presume?" Ren had already grabbed his blade, activating his passive because he wasn't dual wielding. Pointing his sword at the man, he said: "The name's Ren by the way, Nice to meet ya". Striking a fighting pose, with his left foot in front of the other, his right was slightly turned behind his front foot. Seeing s he was left handed, he held the blade in his left hand, slightly loosening his grip to handle it better. Since he didn't want to strike first (out of previous experience with others) he perpared for him to attack. "Take your time, I'll be here all day".
