Running, running till his legs ached and his lungs begged for air. Running so fast he slid past corners and had to push off the far wall to turn. Ducking his head he ran further into the darkness. Blockades surrounded him, blending together among the shadows making it difficult to determine whether his next turn was into a hallway or into yet another wall. The presence behind him was intense. He could feel the strength and bloodlust spreading out like tendrils of hunger inches behind him. “If I slow down, if I stop running it’s all over. Run, just keep running don’t stop just go.” Corner after corner, hallway after hallway the endless chase dragged on until finally a light emerged. A tiny spec of hope in this pit of despair and as his heart welled up and his eyes started to water he ran faster then ever before. Shawn pushed his body even farther past his limits and used up all the energy and strength he had to reach this light. As he got closer he saw a fairy incased in a ball of beautiful white sunshine. He reached out for the tiny creature and watched as it also reached out for him. As there fingers were just about to touch the creature… disappeared. Gone, he felt his heart shatter and break as a rollercoaster exploding off its tracks. He turned around and got hit like a tidal wave of power. It hit him so hard that he felt every bone in his body shatter; he was then thrown off his feet and lifted into darkness.
Metro sat up hard and fast out of bed, wrapping his arms around his stomach and gasping for air. He lifted a hand up to cover his face then run his fingers through his hair and tried to steady his breathing. The dreams were getting more and more frequent these days he thought to himself. He looked around his little apartment. The wooden interior was laced in light from the windows. He slowly slid out of bed and walked over to the fridge. He pulled out a random sandwich of some kind that Nala probably made. He ate it as he put on his leather armor and strapped on his boots. He left the door with a note thanking Nala for the food. He locked the door behind him and head out for the open forest. It took him about 2 days to get where he was going from the starting town. Finally arriving he sat down in an open field. Not far from where he was there had been a camp site set up for adventurers looking to find new areas of the world out here. Now though this area had been claimed and surveyed. He looked off to a forest he once ventured into like so many others before and after him. He thought back to the last time he was here with faded and how they almost got trampled by golems. He wondered if he was still upset with the immense physical contact that night. He hoped he wasn’t for he would really need his help for this. He flipped through his HUD and found him on his friends list. He sent him a message reading “Hey faded, if you’re not doing anything I am sitting outside the forest we explored during the whole expansion awhile back. You should come meet me I would like you to accompany me once more if you please.” He then laid back and watched the clouds.
