It had only been a few minutes since their little group had been formed and Steel wondered how this was going to turn out. Putting himself aside, he thought the group was quite unbalanced, having two Guardians and an Assassin. There was nobody in the group that could really play a supporting role or be a healer and with these low leveled new players’ defense would be taken down eventually if they were to fight a higher leveled monster. It looks like Steel would have to take most of the damage to protect them being the higher leveled player among them. However, Steel didn’t let his thoughts show on his face as he led the small group of new players to the gate. On the way, they had to pass though the main district again. As they walked through the street, many of the people that they passed by turned their heads towards the group’s direction and some began whispering to each other. The bits and pieces of this whispering that could be heard included talk about Saskia and her public mishap when she took off her armor earlier. Words were also said about the large Russian guy as it seemed he swung his axe excitedly around the town before he did it in the parliament building. It was quite obvious that none of looks or gossip was about Steel at all. “Well you lot sure are popular.” Steel said in a bit of a teasing/joking tone. “And as usual, I’m not noticed at all like a shadow.” He noted observing the lines of sight of the people around them. They were all directed towards his new party members and it was as if Steel wasn’t there at all. “And no, I’m not a ghost that only you can see, I just have a low presence similar to that of a background character nobody pays attention to.” Steel said afterward to explain why people weren’t noticing him now. After that, it didn’t take too long to reach the gate leading to outside of the city. “You guys ready to set off? Let’s get going!” After confirmation from his party members, they walked through the gate and into the forest. As they walked on the common path, Steel began to say something. “My level is a lot higher than you guys so my job is going to be sitting back and only help you guys out when you need it. The monsters are pretty low level to me so I’d kill them in one hit or something.” He didn’t say that to be rude but rather he wanted the new players to fully experience a battle instead of letting someone else do all of the work. After a while of walking, Steel decided to stop for a bit as he took out his map again. After looking at it for a bit, he looked up and pointed towards a pathway to the side. “I found this path a while ago with a friend of mine, we’ll be going that way. If we continued to follow the main path, we probably would have been attacked by one of the field bosses in the area. I had to fight one of those a while ago and that took a while because a majority of the time, I had to keep dodging that stupid rabbit’s club.” He said this in an annoyed tone after remembering the event before leading his new companions through the new pathway. The dirt covered pathway was quite spacious and wider compared to the width of its entrance which could only fit in two people at a time. Tree branches were overhead, blocking the sun for the most part but there was still some sunlight that leaked through, truly giving this area a forest feel unlike most of the main road which felt as if something plowed through it. Then again, this was supposed to be some sort of civilization so of course there’d be roads connecting cities. “Relatively, this is a better place for newcomers to start out in as the level of most of the monsters is pretty low.” Steel then began to survey the area, looking for suitable opponents for the first battle. After about 15 seconds of searching, he spotted two young pittered boars, both of them being level 2. “I’ve found your first opponents!” Steel said with a smile as he took out his gun from the holster on his right hip and aimed it a little towards the sky. He readied a skill and adjusted his aim some more before firing. The bullet fired sailed through the air, seemingly to completely miss until it shattered into multiple fragments that came down onto the boars. Steel had aimed so that all but two of the fragments, one for each boar, would hit the nearby trees so the boars wouldn’t get killed by his attack. Each boar got hit by a small fragment and their attention was shifted over to the small group and started coming their way. “Get ready, they’re coming.” Steel said as a reminder. Words: 851 SaskiaOCC: Saskia, can you tag the others? Also, if the elf isn't going to post, let's just ignore him. One more thing. Due to the AP claim I'm going to post soon, I'll be around level 27 or something so keep that in mind.

Guardian - Cavalier - Brewer ____________________________________________________ Jubilant and full of glee, Saskia danced lightly through the cobblestone street, she was wondering what was taking them so long so she lingered around a bit for them to catch up. Twirling from side to side with her hands behind her back, she smiled at the advancing troops. Steel seemed to be in deep thought. About what, saskia didn’t know or have the slightest hint at, but he seemed to be alright when we spoke among the others. It seemed as though they were being watched and examined by the fellow pedestrians in the street. Wary eyes and pursed lips muttering and they glanced at the group side eyed. They were definitely drawing a lot of attention as they slowly stampeded through the crowd. Saskia blushed embarassed at the comments about her little incident earlier that day in the streets of Londiminium. Hopefully, the story wouldn’t be one they labeled her forever as the pink panty queen. Saskia buried her face in her palm, wishing that she now wore the cloak that was offered to her while she sat inside the parliament building.
Fortunately, the massive behemoth axe bearing Guardian would provide a reliable cover as he himself was proving to be a major topic of discussion. After all, how could he not, he was the Great Dimitri the Giant, after all! The title sounded just like a glorious conqueror who devastated the battlefield and instilled fear into the hearts of man and beast with his vicious war cry. Saskia looked up at him with a pleasant smile, glad he was in her company. She felt an overwhelming sense of security when embraced by the companionship of her fellow adventurers. She wondered how their intertwined fates would grow as destiny brought them together.
Steel had made some comments as to how he had gone unnoticed and how unsurprisingly she and Sergej had absorbed the majority of the spotlight as they crossed into the outer territory of the city. Saskia giggled at the thought. She was now somehow envious of his ability to blend in. It seemed he shared a similar trait with their elven acquaintance they met. She laughed at him testifying that he was no mere illusion and shook her head at the thought of him being a background character.
“Then maybe you need to embrace the light...today’s your day to shine! You’re the leader of this pack! All eyes are on you mister! I’m expecting tip top quality lessons from our master at arms!” Saskia laughed as she made a few gestures of bravado with her hands as she teased Steel with a bashful smile.
As they reached the exit, it seemed her words had possibly made him a slight bit more enthusiastic as he inquired as to if they were prepared for their journey.
“Wooo! We’re going to take those fields by storm!” Saskia shouted in wonder as she cast her gaze over the sun peaking over the horizon. It was a beautiful day and there wasn’t a cloud in the sky. Nothing would be able to rain on their parade as they marched onward. It was then that Steel had mentioned that since he was superior in level, that he’d be too much of a match for the monsters and would sit back and assist by showing them the ropes. Saskia smiled nervously at the thought as she felt a piece of her security get cracked at the frames with one less member to rely upon in the heat of battle. She bit her lip then gazed down at her feet, her eyes rising up to meet the hilt of her sword. It was sheathed in a blue scabbard outlined in gold lacing.
She never really knew much about sword play or even the proper stance or way to hold a sword. She slowly withdrew it from it’s sheath and stared at her reflection in it. She began to utter self-affirming words of encouragement to bolster her confidence.
“Today, you are no longer Hope MacLaren, for today, the world will know you as Saskia Steelheart the Stormblade of the Seven Seas!” Saskia said sternly, before not being able to maintain composure after the ridiculousness of the statement and bursting into laughter. She glanced over at Steel who seemed to have mentioned stretch of dirt that le to familiar path as he glanced at his map with a studious glare. He mentioned a field boss, and something about a rabbit playing whack a half-alv with his club. The thought made Saskia snicker as she never even seen what the monsters in this world even looked like.
As they traveled, Saskia noticed the dirt path grow wider and the soil begin to soften undernaeth her feet, it seemed as though they were getting closer to their destination. The outline of the territory was thick trees with many branches as they began to trek through the woods. Steel seemed focused on surveying the area and pointed out two pittered boars in the distance. They were ony a meager level and seemed to be wandering around like a little family. Maybe they were brother and sister. Saskia began to cue at the sight of the adorable piggies.
“Awww, they’re so cute!” Saskia exclaimed as she twisted about holding her cheeks in amazment.
Suddenly, Steel shouted about finding opponents. Wait....he couldn’t mean? Yep. Sure enough, the swashbuckler withdrew a pistol from his holster that had gone unnoticed by Saskia before and he aimed towards the sky. Just what on earth was he planning? He shot into the air and suddenly a burst of fragments rained down, two of which strike down at each pig respectively.
“No, not the cute littles piggies!” Saskia screamed in despair as she made the world’s saddest face like a pampered princess that had lost all her barbie dolls.
As the angered pittered boars rushed forward, Saskia yelped and hid behind the most defensive looking thing around. She flailed about as she hid behind Sergej.
“Noooooo! I don’t want to be eaten by wild boars!” Aghhhhhh!!!!” Saskia cried in terror as she closed her eyes and cowered in fear behind the great red giant that towered over her.

Sergej grinned as the party began leaving the town. Those to their sides, the people not in their party, could be heard muttering words about Saskia's body and Sergej's own recklessness. "Hah! Speak like cowards." he uttered as they left the gate. The men and women gossipping behind them were all cowards! Cowards should be crushed by the axe of warriors and men alike! This thought caused his grin to fade into a much more serious expression as his grasp over his axe grew tighter and tighter, turning into a vicegrip. He absolutely ignored the comments of their companion, Steel, and instead focused on the path they took to find wild game. When Steel asked if the group were prepared, Sergej paused and practically glared at the sparkleboy. He would have spoken, but Saskia spoke up first. Take by storm? Hah! Storms do not take, storms destroy! "No, not by storm. BY FORCE!" Yelling the final bit, Sergej laughed heartily before his face changed back to being serious; but not entirely, his face still had a slight grin to it as they wandered into the forest. Steel began talking about how he was such a higher level than them, and Sergej sighed as he mentioned that he wouldn't be able to help them much. Smile fading, Sergej sighed and just watched Steel as he explained the path, and spoke about the bunny with a massive club. "Sounds like worthy foe. Sergej wish to fight sometime." The man spoke softly for the first time since the group had seen him, but he did not sound depressed or like he was trying to be silent so they could find prey; a fact that was proven as he made quite a bit of racket just from walking around. It was around this time that he overheard what Saskia had been muttering to herself in the corner. Perhaps she wasn't as brave as she was boasting about. "Hmph. If you wish hide behind Sergej..." He simply nodded after those words and didn't continue his sentence. Such a message was relayed in the perfect of manners, and he felt that he need not continue such a phrase. The ground seemed to get softer as the group met their destination, causing Sergej to sink slightly with every step. Thankfully, it didn't cause him to sink deep enough to cause any trouble, just enough that the man left behind rather solid footprints one could probably dig out of the ground as several fossils come a hundred thousand years. Their 'Steelheart' proved herself to be more craven than the berserker originally thought as she called their future food 'cute' and wished they wouldn't die. Thankfully, the one properly named decided to pull out his pistol and cause a bit of damage. It was fancy, much like sparkleboy himself, as the single bullet separated into several and landed a blow on each pig in the scene. Sergej smiled as the boars turned towards them, removing his axe from his shoulder and grabbing it in two hands. He hunched over, and the moment he started his battle cry Saskia hid behind him. Craven witch. You best fight too. Sergej thought as he roared at the piglets in sheer bloodlust, causing his taunting shout to strike the nearest boar. Immediately afterward Sergej ran forward, slamming his axe from right to left across the boar that he had taunted, causing the small little swine to recoil sideways. As the pig began standing up Sergej roared loudly, it sounded as though it formed words, but could not be understood. However, whatever the guardian had just done caused massive sound waves to emanate from him and strike each pig that had attempted to get past Sergej and go towards Steel; except for one which continued it's lone charge. The other pigs that had been struck by Sergej's Anchor Howl turned towards him in a bout of confusion and shock. The now berserking Russian would keep this skill up for the maximum ten seconds, or until a pig tried to fleed; which would spark Sergej's massive blow that would ensue, possibly finishing it off due to it's missing health. “Oy vey, I wasn’t expecting anything like this.” Steel said after seeing the reactions of both Saskia and Sergej. Saskia was a lot different on the actual battlefield than when she was at the parliament building, at first being worried about hurting the boars and then being worried about possibly being eaten by the boars, prompting her to hide behind the Russian. Sergej on the other hand was more of a manly man who thought that everyone should have the same mindset as him, following a code of manliness and bravery. Because of this, he appeared to have lost some respect for Saskia. This would probably make it harder to work together. The Russian already went ahead and decided to fight the boars on his own, leaving Saskia by herself. Steel knew he had to do something to get them to restart and try again. He charged forward as the boars were beginning to attack at Sergej’s blind spots and drew his swords at the same time. “Kofuna Shizen Ryu: Samidare!” He exclaimed before using a sword technique that had been drilled into him from his childhood training in kendo, swinging his swords at an extremely fast speed, showing how many times he’s practiced this. His swords were able to cut through the two boars and soon after Steel sheathed his swords again, both pigs burst into anima bubble that floated into the sky. Afterwards, he turned back towards his two companions. “I’ll have to be frank, that was terrible.” Steel said bluntly. He first turned towards Sergej. “In a battle, you do not leave a teammate alone like that, understood? I can tell you’re eager for battle but you must also remember that there are other people here, not just you. But remember to keep that energy of yours. If used correctly, it could rejuvenate other people.” He said scolding the Russian but ended it on a more positive note before turning towards Saskia. “As for you Hope-san, you just hid behind someone else. It would be best if you got used to combat around here, monsters are going to be all over this world and you can’t just hide from all of it. I do however disagree with Russian boy’s idea of cowardice or fear. I don’t really think fear is a bad thing, it’s just the thing that tells you what you need to work on so you can become stronger.” Like with Sergej, he had a scolding tone towards Saskia/Hope before ending it on a more positive note. He then addressed both of them. “So then, ready to retry?” Steel said with a smile, his face having erased his serious facial expression from earlier while he was scolding them. “If we fight somewhat higher leveled enemies, I’ll be able to take part in the battle more directly and teach you two some stuff. How does that sound?” He knew that these two, especially Saskia/Hope didn’t have much experience in combat and he was ready to teach them. Words: 501 SaskiaSergejOCC: Yeah, let's just leave the elf out now. btw, should we turn this into a mentor thread?

Guardian - Cavalier - Brewer ____________________________________________________ The Russian grunted as he nodded at her. Saskia frowned slightly as she knew that at this current point in her life she was fragile and no where near the brave hearted warrior she had claimed to be. All legends of the Saskia Steelheart she declared herself was just an urban myth. Saskia laughed nervously, which faded a little lower as she realized Sergej wasn’t taking any of her shit today. At least, not whole on the battle field. Maybe it was the fact that she thought her prey was adorable, or possibly it was the fact that she cowered in fear like an oink-a-phobic idiot. Maybe it was how she flinched in terror at the crack of gunfire from Steel’s pistol. Whatever it was, it seemed to make his skin crawl. He rushed forward like a madman, while Saskia only moved to the next best position, placing herself behind a tall oak tree, holding the edges with her fingers. She took a peek from the corner to see Sergej shouting at a piggy and pissing it the hell off apparently as it rushed blindly towards him only to be hacked in the side by the swirling axe of the red beast. Saskia saw one advanced towards her and steel and she squealed like a pink headed schoolgirl, biting her lip, as she felt weak in the knees and stood pidgeon toed behind the tree. The axe wielding behemoth yelled loudly as he activated a skill that sent the other boars in a sharp U-turn to come hurdling towards him.
Steel seemed to be displeased with the recent turn of events as he saw the true nature of the cards on the table as they had been flipped. Saskia, the frightened coward. Sergej, the chaotic beserker. Group synergy was at an all-time low and the sight was utterly pathetic. Saskia shivered as she saw Steel advance in a sudden dash as he unsheathed his blades and began to shout in some weird language as he sliced through a duo of boars that erupted into anima bubbles.
Saskia blinked her eyes in bewilderment. What the hell just happened? Did they seriously just turn into bubbles? All the thoughts overwhelmed her as she was allured by the wonderful display. She came from behind her tree and giggled in excited cheer.
“Now, that’s some magic trick! How’d you manage to turn them into sparkly bubbles!?! That was adorable!” She shouted as she saw the bubbles float away before popping.
Steel seemed more focused on scolding them as he made both of them aware of their flaws in the party. As Saskia heard how he spoke to the Russian, she could feel he insides churn at the thought of what he had to say to her. She bit her lip and looked away, slightly embarassed at how she behaved.
However, when she noticed a lighter tone in Steel’s voice, she smiled a bit brighter.
“Uhm...yeah, sure I’m up for this. I just get a little paranoid. I know we’re in a fantasy world, but the concept of killing still kind of freaks me out. Sometimes it doesn’t seem like a game, but I feel much better now that I know they just burst into bubbles. I kind of feel weird slaughtering animals. But I guess I just have to remember that this is all just a game.”
“Also, uhm...how’d you do that thing earlier..like the two of you shouted and you did something to make the pics mad, and I don’t know what magic you used with your swords, but is that something swashbucklers do? Turn things into bubbles?” Saskia blinked innocently as she glanced between them naively.

Sergej's Anchor Howl kept going, until his rage seemed to subside when several multi-colored bubbles burst around him. As the howl ended, he looked around panting heavily from the lack of breath he almost felt from such a long shout, and noticed that not a single small pig was left that they had been fighting. "Huh. Pig turn to bubbles. Sergej did not know voice was power." Despite what he said, Sergej fully knew that Steel had jumped in and killed most of the enemies, and it somewhat hurt the large man's pride that he hadn't actually managed to fight. As Sergej began to rest from his combat ready state, slamming his axe back into the ground so he wouldn't need to carry it and started re-fitting his armor on his arms and legs when Steel started scolding him. Listening half-heartedly, Sergej only pulled one line from Steel's lips: keep that energy of yours. Of course, Sergej thought, Sergej was just getting started! Grinning from ear to ear Sergej yelled it out. "Da. Sergej just getting started!"Immediately after Sergej had been scolded, he listened in on Steel's scolding of the pink-haired guardian, and decided that a single phrase would be appropriate. "If fear death, fight." His smile had vanished for the phrase, in hopes that he could perhaps communicate it better without smiling. When Saskia had asked about the abilities the two had used, Sergej had to respond. "Sergej not know. Pig just make Sergej mad, so Sergej scare pig." In reality, he had accidently discovered something that most people wouldn't discover in their first battle, he had discovered how to use spells or abilities without the use of a command menu, without even knowing what they did. "Pig not anger, just distract."The topic of fighting harder creatures came up, and Sergej's eyes twinkled with an odd delight. "Stronger enemies... makes harder battle. Sergej is in!" Walking back over over to his axe, he wrenched it from the ground and placed it over his shoulder in a resting position. "So, point Sergej way." The berserk was entirely ready for a battle, after-all, combat is fun; and what use is combat if you don't get injured? You do need to have something to remember battle from. “Okay then, we’ll just try fighting monsters that don’t look like animals to start off okay?” Steel said with a kind smile when Saskia/Hope said that she was uncomfortable with slaughtering animals and the concept of killing in general. “Hope-san, how about we start with fighting some slimes? Fighting the slimes will probably feel different from fighting the animal based monsters. It’ll be more like fighting living jelly.” Steel then put his hand on the former idol’s head gently yet firmly to calm her down a little from the slight paranoia and panic still within the woman from earlier which was evident from how she was talking. “Well, I don’t think this is a game anymore.” Steel said in response to Saskia/Hope’s comments about how everything here was all a fantasy game. “At least for now, this world has become our reality. Don’t ever forget that alright? There are still a lot of people that think that this place is all just a game and they’ve begun to lose their sense of self and morality. They think that just because it’s a game, they think they can steal from others and do everything they did back when this was a game. Well, just make sure to remember to stay as yourself.” Saskia/Hope then asked about the pigs turning into bubbles and whether or not that was a swashbuckler skill. “It’s not a skill.” Steel said in response to her question. “Even if it was a skill, I wouldn’t have chosen it for my skill list. Apparently in this world, our bodies aren’t just made of flesh and blood. All living things are also made from anima which is basically a type of life energy. When we lose all of our HP, our bodies will scatter into the anima it was formed from before being transported to the cathedral. For the pigs as well as other monsters, it would be the respawn point. Is that easy to understand?” He asked wondering if she needed further explanation since the Russian’s ‘explanation’ wasn’t really helpful at all. He noticed that Sergej wasn’t really listening to Steel at all. “You know, you’d do well to listen to others fully when they are talking to you. You’ll learn more and people won’t think you’re a jerk for ignoring them. I already know and have gotten used to how you act so I’m fine but that won’t always be the case with other people. You gotta learn to be more social, life isn’t just about fighting you know?” “Anyway, let’s get going and find some more monsters to fight.” Steel said good naturedly as he scanned the area. “But remember that we need to work together and help each other out. As for your individual situations, you can say I’m pretty much going to help you two based on your own capabilities and personalities. Saskia, I’m going to help you with fighting in general and for Sergej, I’ll be helping you with fighting in formation and how to control aggro.” After he said this, he began to think for a bit. “When we get into battle, we’ll start in triangle formation.” Steel said. “Sergej will be in front since he has more confidence in battle. He’ll be the ones confronting the enemy first. Me and Saskia will stand behind him ready to strike at the enemy once he’s got their attention. Maybe we can even learn to switch, having Saskia switch places with Sergej to give him a breather. It was then he noticed two level 10 Green Slimes. “Well speak of the devil.” Steel said with a smile. “You guys know the procedure. Sergej, use Anchor Howl to attract their attention and we can get started. Ready?” Words: 622 SaskiaSergejOOC: Yeah, I'm just going to turn this into a mentor thread. Guardian - Cavalier - Brewer ____________________________________________________ Saskia shifted her feet nervously tapping away at the soil. The Russian was already becoming enthusiastic about bigger enemies and Saskia barely was even dipping her toe in the waters with this whole combat situation. Sure, she was excited quite possibly just as much as he was, but she was completely new video games and hardly ever lifted a sword in her life. Had it been a singing or dancing game, she probably would have rocked their virtual world. Unfortunately, it was far from it. All she had seen so far was a bunch of grown men trying to hack slices of bacon out of the pigs that roamed the countryside and shout wildly at them. Was this seriously people’s idea of fun? The pink cotton candy haired Wolf Hair Guardian couldn’t seem to wrap her head around this concept. She cut her eyes softly at the Russian, whereas she found his foreign accent engaging, it was scaring her how violent the man seemed. She pictured him ripping a tree out of the ground with his bare hands, then slamming it into the side of a boar and sending it straight to the sun! Suddenly she snapped out of her trance when her Japanese friend...wait...what was his real name again? Shit. She had already forgotten in the midst of all the chaos. Takahiro? Mitsuru? No wait...that was the tailor’s name. She winced a bit, embarrassed by how she had already forgotten his real name. Somehow she still had ‘Dmitri the Great’ ringing in her ear in a loud booming voice. Luckily, for her, she got a constant reminder every time she looked above his head
She heaved a sigh of relief as her cerulean blue crystal eyes flickered up that the virtual data that read ‘Steel’ as she heard him speak. She caught the ast bit of what he was saying he started mentioning fighting, slimes was it? Whatever ‘slimes’ were it mae Saskia’s stomach quirm inside as she started pictures sewage monsters, which now sounded far worse than fighting animals. It all felt so dirty to her as she pictured being eaten by a vile sewage monster and being lost within it’s belly for all eternity. She had forgotten what even happens if one were to get killed in the city. Another thought that flew right over the young girls head. Her worries were relieved slightly, but only slightly, when Steel placed a hand over the top of her head and confidently related fighting slimes to more like fighting living jelly. Saskia loved jelly! She wondered if she killed and purples ones, if they dropped items like grape jelly, which she began to crave with the company of some fresh biscuits. Her mind tuned back into his words as he was begin to revel in the notion that wasn’t a game at all anymore and that this was their new reality for the time being. He also added that people feeling as if the game was taken as just a game, then it would quite possibly distort the nature of a person’s morality and make them make more brash decisions without any true consequences for their actions. Saskia twisted her lips at the thought of being mugged while she was out on the street. She felt safer and more secure knowing that she had two gentlemen to help aid her and keep her safe. They reminded her somewhat of the bodyguards that she had whenever she stepped out of her limousine to do a show during her world tour, at least, without all the extravagance and cameras and lighting.
She sniffed slightly, rubbing the corner of her tired eyes as she tuned back into Steel’s frequency. The girl couldn’t help it. She had a very short attention span. However she did catch a nice little lesson on this force called ‘Anima’ and he began to explain what happens when they lose all their HP or, die, in other words. He then spoke about being revived at a cathedral. Saskia didn’t even know there was a cathedral anymore, and the idea of coming back to life after death astounded her. Her mouth dropped down in shock.
“Wait...so we’re like...we’re like freaking Zeus! Or like Hercules! I loved that disney movie! Woohoo! I’m a female Hercules!" Saskia flexed as she raise her sword high in the air in vibrant girly girl cheer.
Her eyes blinked at Steel’s next statement in confusion. “Respawn?” She stared blankly. Saskia was not at all familiar with any in game lingo, by any means, so most terminology or jargon flew right over her pretty little head.
She was too afraid to ask further questions as he scolded the Russian and slightly felt a bit of tension and figured she might get scolded next for asking too many stupid questions and being unproductive on the field. She tried her best to keep the eye of Sauron pointed away from her and simply nodded quickly, going along with whatever Steel said about the formation. It sounded like a solid plan to her. Saskia was the kind that typically learned by watching a demonstration by others, and enjoyed the idea of the Russian brute taking the helm. She could possibly study his ways and mimic him quite well. Mimicing was Saskia’s ways of doing a lot of things in the real world, like learning positive body language as a celebrity or paying piano by watching Youtube videos and doing exactly what the player did.
She began to envision the formation in her mind. She pictured it like a triangle, with Sergej being the pointman. She then began to ponder about her and Steel’s placement in respect to Sergej’s placement in then field. Her hair swayed in front of her face as she turned to face steel, her shield arm up and placing the tip of her index finger slightly up towards the sky as she got a small idea.
“Okay, so how about this? Since I used the shield in my left hand, I can take up the right portion of the formation, that way whenever I move in to help Sergej, I got my shield as a more present buffer between me and uhm....the slimy things?” Saskia stated as she tapped her sword on her platemail shoulderplate. She gave a brief nod as if putting the stamp on the idea without any need of approval. “Yep. Sounds good. You psyched for this, Ruskie?” Saskia asked in an enthusiatic and energetic manner. “I got your back! Just do your thing!” She smiled offering a sense of support to her ally.
She then swiped her sword away from her friends and pointed it towards the colorful horizon. "Alright, Hope, it's time to spread your wings!"
