The splashing of water could be heard as a group of three trudged through the watery swampland with sucking noises and popping noises as a shoe or boot popped out of the mud. “Tell me why we ´ere again? In this swampland.” Asked Oddy while looking over his shoulder at the Female clad in platemail armour with a great shield and a long sword in her hands. Grumbling Oddy tried to focus on his footing as the pointman while also being the smallest in the group. 50 meters after his question Oddy held up his right fist and motioned for the others to be silent, as Oddy crouched and tried to move as silently as possible closer to the spot where he saw something, he heard a sound and grumbled as he closed in, as Oddy eagerly climbed a half broken tree to perch on the top of it he spied with his eyes a small camp of 6 level 3 Weak Goblin Scouts around a campfire, most of them having a bandage here and there as it would seem that they are wounded. Oddy opened up the party telepathy and quietly whispered. “Uh, Boss we´ve got a situation ´ere, found a lil camp of 6 level 3 weak goblin scouts around a campfire, got myself a nice little perch ´ere can observe and shoot them pretty well from here as long as they dinnae notice that I am at this spot of course.” Oddy chuckled quietly at the end of the message as he continued to observe the enemy. The town of Blackwood. Hardly a city, more like a corpse. This was the sort of place Saskia was used to.
Bleached, white bones of desiccated houses protruded from the snow, the skeletal remains of buildings lining the edge of town closest to the cliff. The wreckage lingered there, eerily, unmoved by man or strong coastal winds, as though still serving some long-abandoned purpose.
As she entered the cluster of weather-beaten buildings, a few guards passed wearily by, and a woman called to a man presumably her husband, on his way to drown himself in drink. That was all this place seemed to be, much hardship and toil. Why the people simply did not abandon their memories and move on to better places escaped her, though the Landers were often mired in their tradition and that of their ancestors, enough, it seemed, to treat such a dead place as though it still lived.
A heavy mist swam beneath the emaciated skeletons of former buildings, obscuring all but a few feet of sight. Debris drifted in through the white veil like ghosts from an unnatural fog, swallowed up by the mist soon after he had passed by.
Saskia kept her pace slow, following the cobbled path along towards where she'd been assured the Library stood. She was unsure what to expect, and so halted his movement when he came to a large, stone walkway jutting out of the mist. She looked up as far as the obscuring white cloud would allow him, before he was roused to attention by a sharp voice.
“Oi, so you three be the ones who came about the job, eh? Well come on...I promise the bridge won’t break on ya! But I’d watch yer step!” Aldius replied with a hearty laugh. He was a rather nasty looking mage with a long black beard and glass eye.
Along the way, he lit various beacons with a form of Magic unfamiliar to Saskia. As they continued, she found that he had not been wrong about peril; several sections of the bridge were in serious disrepair, and he had to steady his nerves at one point where there were no sides to the bridge at all.
Where the bridge became more stable, Saskia found the mist was letting up a bit. She looked around, and from out of its depths a great black behemoth loomed forward, towering high above him, not ten feet from where he stood. Huge stone walls strained upwards, imposing a terrible might down on their guest. As the mysterious man ignited a final blue beacon, a set of gates at the base of the thick walls opened, and allowed the man entry.
"Speak to Charolotte, she'll be needing these ingredients," the mage instructed, and then added, "the pale woman, short hair." Saskia thanked him and entered the frozen courtyard.
The place struck her as rather beautiful. High arches framed the surrounding landscape, snowberry bushes grew in abundance, and the blue and white lights were rather dazzling. Saskia found herself at a bit of a loss, but headed towards a large, important looking door behind the statue that was the courtyard's crowning jewel. Before he had reached the entrance to what he assumed was the main interior of the college, he found, just outside, a short-haired pale woman, immersed in a weathered book. Saskia didn't want to break the concentration she seemed to exhibit, but she supposed she couldn't just stand around for an indefinite time either.
"Excuse me, milady?" she broke the silence, approaching. "I was told by the man on the bridge that I should speak to you."
"Hm?" the woman looked up, appearing utterly disinterested in anything he had to say. She looked him over, considering his unfamiliar presence.
"I heard you needed alchemy supplies that may be of use to your shop. I was advised to speak to Charlotte, so I –"
The woman held up her hand in a gesture that told Saskia to stop, punctuated by the sudden, loud closing of the book she held in her other hand. Saskia faltered to an abrupt silence. "No," the pale woman sighed, and then finally met his eye. "I am not Charolotte."
Saskia realised her mistake, and smiled apologetically as she spoke. "My apologies, you merely fit the description I was given."
"Mhmm," she considered, and then gestured at the large door. "You should find her in the Hall of Woe. I trust you will not waste her time." At that, the young woman returned to her book, moving on across the courtyard. Saskia hardly had chance to thank her for redirecting her, and so moved on through the great doors and into the Library interior.
Finding the real Charolotte was easy enough. She supposed there could not have been so many short-haired pale women about the library that she would have had a harder time with it.
"If you’re here for payment. You’re too late, Jobs canceled. Last batch of adventurers that went guys I sent down there have been missing for three days. There’s been eerie sounds ever since those goblins have tunnel a cave from the lower sanctum of the library. I usually came across my ingredients often there, and and as much as I would prefer them not to go to waste. I’d hate to see any more lives carelessly handed away to the goblin horde."
“Well, perhaps we could be of aid, you see we are adventurers and we can fare a lot better in a fight and worst case scenario take a trip to the cathedral...” Saskia proclaimed as she nodded to her partners Oddy and Mitsuru.
“Alright, have it your way. But enter the cave at your own peril. Those Goblins are vermin that resort to dirty tricks. “
“That much I am aware...alright, Oddy, Mitsuru, let’s be quick about things. We’ll also see if we can find any survivors while we’re down there.”
As the group trotted down the cave tunneled in the side of a wall in the ‘Hall of Woe’, it lead to the Marshlands, while trudging through the icy waters, the assassin had grumbled about their reason for being here.
“We’re here to lend a hand. Lady wants this place cleared of goblins so she can harvest her alchemy ingredients. Seems that she sent in a band of landers, but they’ve gone missing. Poor souls are probably already dead. Either way, let’s....let’s just stay focused. Damn Goblins could be lurking anywhere...”
Suddenly, the assassin, raised his hand as something caught his attention. He left to go scout it out. While Saskia waited with Mitsuru, she recieved an incoming transmission from Oddy. He had found a group of six of them nearby.
Saskia nodded towards Mitsuru in the direction Oddy was at and began to speak to Oddy via telepathy.
“Alright, sounds good. Do you think you can wait for them to get seperated, then use your firearm to pull the mobs from a distance? I’ll set up aggro control and Mitsu can help us dish out the damage and provide support by flanking them.” She whispered as she ran up closer towards them and hid herself behind a boulder.
She looked over her shoulder to see if Mitsuru was still with her. When he got close enough she would whisper.
“So..uhh, Mitsu, what skills are you packing again? Hopefully you chose something with a lot of fire power...I mean I seen you with needle and thread, but this is a whole other ball game.” Saskia stated as she glanced into his red sun burnt eyes.

In what have I gotten in again ?That was the only question he was asking himself since the beginning of the adventure. He had followed Saskia earlier on and was swiftly presented to Oddy. They were three and apparently had a quest to complete. The party was composed of Saskia the Guardian, Oddy the Assassin and himself the Heretic. That had a job to complete and they were willing to put their lives on the line to get it done. At least he wasn't already killed by Saskia or any other player for being a Heretic. He had heard rumors about this class of his and it wasn't nice to hear. He rubbed his nose with his index lost in his thoughts. He left the talking to Saskia as he was rather clumsy with it. They had arrived to a woman which was mistaken by Saskia for Charlotte. That person was occupied reading a book and apparently didn't like being disturbed in the middle of a reading session. He shrugged and continued following Saskia, left hand in his pocket and right hand at the rear of his skull. That woman was rather unpleasant to talk with. What a bummer !The guardian then mentioned that the party wouldn't mind taking a trip to the cathedral. Mitsu' almost choked on those words. I don't want to die ! What kind of heartless person is she ?He shook his head and then quickly rectified his shaking into a nodding and added a childish smile. The party then entered the cave which had been dug by the goblins, it was pretty impressive for such creature to be able to do so. His wide open eyes scrutinized the tunnels "architecture" but all of a sudden his feet felt damped and icy. A shiver stroke him from his toes to the tips of his silver hair and his entire body shivered as he sighed. Where did we end up again ? He was dazzled from the difference of contrast between the dark tunnel and the swamp, raising his hands to cover his eyes. Before he could even lower his hands and recover his sight the assassin had already vanished. His head and eyes went from left to right multiple time and whispered. "Where did he go ?"He was left alone with Saskia and started imagining a torturing death in her company. She would just have fun doing so with him. He shivered again to this thought and shook his head, running his hands through his hair. She suddenly brought her hand to her ear and starting talking, she was without a doubt communicating with the assassin. Apparently goblins were in sight and thing started getting serious, Saskia ran to a near boulder to take cover and he followed swiftly. He was quit agile for a mage. He toggled "Silent Move" until they would enter combat. He crouched besides the woman and his lava eyes pierced her ocean blue pupils as he listened to what she had to say. Offensive skills ? I took support skills mostly to start with I only have on aggressive one...He gulped with difficulty before sliding his finger in the air as to verify his skills. The screen of his profile materialized inches from his faces which glowed. His eyes were skimming the content before reporting what he had just read to the pink haired girl. "So... Mhmmm... How could I say... I started with more support skills. I have a spell which can heal you for the damage you hit a monster for. I have a spell which can heal just as simple as that... And, hmm.. I have this other one which is mostly a debuff on the target and make them feel extreme pain reducing their movement speed or attack speed by 25%."Mitsu' kept out the part where evey single of his skill would raison the corruption of person targeted by his skills. He looked down at his nails which were black as ink. He tried hiding those cracks in his finger nails. He tilted his head on the right side while staring at Saskia and smiled friendly. "I'll do my best to help you guys !" he shouted. He then realized his mistake grasping his mouth with both of his hands as to say "Come back words ! Don't go out shouting". But what is done can't be undone. His worried eyes looked from left to right and his lips pinched. Shit, shit shit... What did I just do ! I'm going to get killed by the others not the goblins. He squealed at this thought. Hopefully the goblins hadn't heard him he didn't know. He was totally unsure of what the situation was behind the boulder. He took out his starter grimoire snapping open the book and getting ready for action. He took a deep breath as a thin dark mist appeared around his body and mostly around the book. A snake smile crept on his lips slowly as his eyes jumped back on Saskia. He was a support and back liner, he had to wait for the signal of engagement. "I'm ready when you are...." he hissed quietly. He was known as the tailor. She was known as the one wanting to be the prettiest at the Winter Ball. They weren't familiar with one another yet but that wouldn't take much time to fix. He decided to cast Gluttonous Haze on Saskia, the combat seemed iminent and it would last 10 seconds, healing her for the amount of damage she would give to their ennemies. Oddy nodded and consequently facepalmed as he heard their support Kuna, first shouting and then squealing as he realised his error. Oddy quickly opened up the party telepathy and hissed. “ Ssssst! Ye durned fool, yer making them rattle their own bones they know something is around ´ere.” Not a moment later, a new Goblin appeared ordering the others around and sending one of them to go look for what made the noise. “ Oh shit got a new developing situation over ´ere!” Hissed Oddy in the party telepathy as he saw a level 6 Goblin scout shouting at his underlings. Oh boy this is some fine shit we landed in. Thought Oddy as he saw the lone weak scout coming in his direction with all the others on guard at the different points and the big boss the level 6 Goblin Scout just staring in the party´s direction without so much moving a single muscle. Oh! Oh! I know exactly what to do to get rid of that scout hee hee hee. Thought Oddy as he observed the weak scout still walking towards the party. Oddy silently casted the arrow revolver skill and 6 arrows appeared made out of mana right next to him and then Oddy grabbed his bow as he grabbed his bow and held it ready one of the arrows loaded itself in his bow, Oddy bent his fingers back around the string and slowly pulled it back past his cheek and let the arrow fly at the scout and then used Quick Draw as the next arrow loaded in his bow. The first arrow flew at the weak scout and then the second one fired off by the Quick Draw skill flew at the weak scout as well, as they both flew with a bit of the pale sun reflecting off the arrowhead the weak scout turned to the new sound and promptly got struck by two arrows, both sticking out of his chest as the creature looked at his own chest, his eyes dimmed and he fell backwards staring at the skies and bursted apart in Anima as it died. Oddy then said in party telepathy. “ One scout down, I repeat one scout down. Got six of them left! Five level 3´s and one level 6!” Now to keep cool and distract the Goblins for the others. Thought Oddy as he observed the camp getting in position and bracing themselves for the assault as they saw the anima floating away. [WC 414 with Wordcounter.net] Mitsuru KirishimaSaskia

She could feel the nervousness in his voice as the howls of ungodly creatures snaked through the woods. She felt that it was odd that Mitsuru’s footsteps fell on deaf ears when she walked past him. He had hardly even made a sound, but that was possibly because he was wearing lighter armor, and we wasn’t exactly a giant by any means. However, he was a tailor, maybe there was some minor alterations he had made to his gear. Curiously enough, however it didn’t seem that his gear was any different than anyone elses starter gear. While his tailoring skills had grown far and far more impeccable as time went on, Saskia was a bit wary about taking him on the endeavor with him being a lower level, however, they were desperate for support and all the other healers were busy with their respective squads. Saskia groaned at the thought of getting the short end of the stick as she gritted her teeth, glancing over her shoulder at him as he knelt down beside her. Her eyes burned a hole into the level and class that rested above his hell.
Shit...still only level one? What the hell, is knitting and making frilly dresses all you do man? God...what kind of man are you!?!
He didn’t even seem to be that confident when asked him about his offensive capabilities. She saw that he was mysterious class called “Heretic”. It sounded dangerously potent, but why on earth did he have that nervous twitch in his face? He looked slightly shaken as if he was disturbed the question, which begged a further question, was the man even a feasible choice for combat? What was Saskia thinking of bringing on a tailor to do a warrior’s job. However, she felt that he was an aspiring student like the others and might simply be a bit wet behind the ears.
Alright, he’s probably just nervous...this might be his first time at true combat...let’s just see what he can do. He might prove himself to actually be quite useful.
The boy gulped, which made Saskia’s heart sink, along with her hopes as he twitched a finger in the air. Quite possibly, searching for his available skills to report to Saskia. His eyes scanned over the void of space. Most likely examining his list of skills. Saskia heaved a heavy sigh, she took note that he didn’t even know his own abilities of the top of his head. Which means that he hadn’t been studying like he should have been. Saskia lowered her head in doubt as she lowered her gaze and a protruding pink fingernail dug into the outer edge of her right brow as she scratched her forehead. She rolled her eyes a bit while she waited for him to get his report ready.
Time was of the essence and at any point, their assassin could have his position compromised. Saskia began fidgeting with her fingers, as she took the occasional glance over her shoulder while the ash haired Heretic gave his report. He only had one skill which was fairly aggressive in nature. Pain and hinderance of mobility would definitely prove to be useful against the higher level opponents that hit Saskia a bit harder. Also he had two healing skills. One that he callously mentioned as a basic heal. Seemed useful enough, can never go wrong with a good heal. Also given the circumstance that because Saskia had lowered her level to match Oddy’s so they could get some nice experience points out of the deal, she would be without her own healing capabilities. The other skill, he seemed to write off as more vampiric in nature. It sounded like a drain ability that sapped the health of a target you dug your blade into. Saskia nodded, content with the knowledge and was about to quietly whisper a tactical situation until the freaking lunatic went about shouting like an idiot. Saskia clenched her hands in front of him and her eyes bulged out as she gestured wanting to choke him. She bit her teeth tightly and growled in frustration, as her pink hair swung violently as she turned to look at him.
The boy squealed like some coward or girl that got her heel stepped on at prom night. Saskia’s eyes began to twitch as she contemplated punching him in the face. However the thought crossed her mind that it would most likely turn into a lawsuit on the Academy for domestic violence in the workplace. At the current moment in time they had other things to worry about. She felt slightly better as she watched the boy ready himself for combat. At least he wasn’t some pansy who would have hid behind the boulder or ran away in fright. She glanced her eyes towards his black nails as they embraced the grimoire he held.
Odd color...what is he, some type of goth now? He didn’t normally do that before...maybe just didn’t have the items for black nail polish back then....still...why does he have to look so damn creepy.
”Oh shit got a new developing situation over ´ere!” The incoming transmission blared in her ear, rumbling about in her ear drums. Redirecting her anger, she slapped her forearm onto the boulder, curling her fingers over the edge as she scarped her nails by digging them into the rock. She hurled herself over the rock and rushed into the fray like a mad beserker. Her armor rattled as her pace grew quicker. She knew she had to get to Oddy in time. He was armed with only a bow and close ranged combat would not suit him if they managed to surround him. Her glance looked up as she noticed Oddy summon six arrows into existence, and nock one on his bow. She had to hurry, he was also about to open fire. He flung one arrow loose, and quickly nocked another one back as she watched his muscled bulge as he pulled the second one back all the way on the string before releasing it in a masterful execution, planting two well aimed shots into the beast’s chest.
The goblin staggered before succumbing to his wounds and shattering into shards of anima. Saskia’s breath grew a bit heavier as she ran in her heavy armor, though unwavering in her quick pace.
”One scout down, I repeat one scout down. Got six of them left! Five level 3´s and one level 6!”
As soon as the transmission began, Saskia became engulfed in a black swirling aura. The effects of Gluttonous Haze began to magnify her blade and coat it black as night. Her sapphire eyes shattered into golden orbs as they cracked like glass and held a blood lust in their stare that she burned straight ahead into the opponents she was rushing. Her hair grew thicker, as her pink mane swung wildly with each step. Her wolf ears began to rise from her head and she came upon two level three goblins that attacked her in a pincer formation. One was red white white markings smeared upon it’s face and a mere loincloth and two daggers, the other was green with a patch over it’s eye and metal armor only covering his torso as he was wielding an axe.
The armored goblin, was the first to strike, as he slammed his axe into Saskia’s side. Saskia gritted her teeth and made a split second decision to attack the goblin with the lesser armor as to deal more damage, thus healing her for a fair better amount than if she had sought instant revenge on the armored goblin. A tactical decision formulated swiftly, because every second counted. Blood splattered from her side as she winced in pain, but felt a soothing regeneration after stabbing her sword into the dagger wielding goblin.
They cried out in malice as they wished death upon the adventurers. Saskia caught one heading in a beeline for Mitsuru, however she was a bit occupied at the moment, and getting in range would take some time. Hopefully he had a trick or two up his sleeve.
Besides of course, coating the poor girl in a putrid lack miasma...

After casting Gluttonous Haze onto Saskia, she started transforming into a form he had never seen her in before. Her blade turned black as night, she was like becoming a predator seeking for its prey. Which in this case were goblins. The pink wolf's hair grew thicker as she approached her enemy. She looked quite badass with that look and the black swirling aura. So she was going to be the main tank, he was the support and Oddy was the main dps. It was true that at first Mitsu' didn't seem fit for combat but it was almost the total opposite. He had already been experienced in various MMORPGs and was also a very good RTS player, hence his good decisions and multitasking abilities. As Saskia jumped over the Boulder, the silver haired boy followed, leaping over the boulder long leg after another with a hand clenching the top of the rock to swing his body to the other side. I really thought she was going to choke me...He deeply sighed as he removed "Silent Move". The fight had started and he would need 100 percent of his moving capacity. He ran to the right flank of Saskia keeping a good distance between them. He was on the right but retreated to the back. He had a support role in this fight and therefore tried finding the best position for it. The pink haired woman engaged two goblins while Oddy had finished sinking arrows into a scouting goblin. The two goblins attacked the woman managing to get a hit upon her, she moaned in pain as blood splattered from her side. Mitsu' stepped forward as in an attempt to come help her, with his right hand he opened his dark misty grimoire again and flipped pages quickly scanning each page as if it was a matter of life or death. He began casting "Tainted Charity" which had ironically the same animation as a normal heal skill. Tainted Charity had a 2 second casting time and a 10 second cool down. The particularity of this skill was that he had to use it again in less than 2 minutes after the first cast otherwise the first heal would disappear. As the green healing aura engulfed the girl, his peripheral vision caught on something. He had just finished casting the spell that a wild goblin had appeared in the airs with his blade pointed towards the boy. Shit... I can't react in that time.Mitsu' lowered his body and bent his knees as to increase his center of gravity and be less likely to fly away. He raised his arms in a protective way. It was too late, the blade sunk into his left forearm into his shoulder and the goblin laughed but his blade was stuck and he then realized what was going to happen. The heretic screamed of pain as blood tainted his clothes, strangely enough the pain was real and felt almost exactly as it would if it had happened on the other side in real life. His face grimaced in pain, he inhaled deeply, his red bloody eyes rose up to the goblin. "It's my turn buddy !..."Even though he was a light armored class and wasn't strong in physical combat he gave his best punch right in the goblin's face making it fly away and roll on the ground. His left flank was in pain and he pulled out the blade from his arm biting his lips to blood trying to retain a suffering scream. His left side was tainted in red and a faint smile slipped onto his lips. The goblin which had just attacked him had already gotten back onto his feet. God...Both Tainted Charity and Gluttonous Haze were on cool down. He could use Pain Affliction but it was a 60 second cool down and would best be used on the toughest goblin. He wouldn't use this spell on such a meaningless goblin. He took several steps backwards as to prepare for another engagement of that goblin. His volcano red eyes glanced over his shoulder on the right to look over Saskia. Why in the hell didn't she use a spell to keep to aggro ? Was it to make him reflect on his shouting earlier on ? Was it to teach him a lesson ? He closed his eyes lost in his thoughts and then whispered a laugh. "This is starting to become fun ! "He straightened up as he faced the goblin ready for another fight. It would have been nice not having a bloody left arm but a certain tank was wanting to make the situation harder. His eyes were twitching in pain and he tried breathing calmly, the left part of his body started becoming numb. He couldn't heal himself yet, he would have to wait for the cool downs to blow and be patient about it. He hellish pupils snapped on Oddy which was on the left further infront of him and Saskia. The formation wasn't the best but he was quite sure the assassin knew what he was doing. Scanning the party interface to check the HP and MP as well as the party's condition on the battle field. He was here as a support role and he had to do that work, it was his duty and he knew how to do it. Words: 895 Tags: Saskia oddytiudnir

Oddy made a note to have a serious chat with both his guildleader and the newer member of the guild as he saw that Saskia kept two of the Goblins busy while another had run past and went for Kuna. “ Mmmmh, this is not good not good at all, I can´t use quickdraw since it is still on a cooldown of 13 seconds. Oh well I can use my arrows to hit that gobbo though.” Muttered Oddy under his breath as he observed Kuna removing a sword from his arm. “ Mmmh, he´ll need to get that healed.” Pondered Oddy as he noted that the Gobbo actually reacted like someone who noticed his error. “ Well, here goes nothing I guess.” Said Oddy as he stood up in his full 5’ 2” of glory and brought his bow to bear on the Gobbo right in front of Kuna. “ At least he knows that he is in a support role and needs to be at the back.” Grinned Oddy as an arrow loaded itself on the bow and he bent his fingers around the string pulling it back just a bit past his cheek and let it loose. The arrow flew on a clearly defined path and hit the Gobbo in the rear, as the Gobbo screamed out in pain, Oddy quickly drew another one of the floating arrow next to him and fired it at the same target, while the 2nd arrow was flying away he decided to draw another arrow out of the air next to him and fire it at the same target as well. The 2nd arrow struck the Gobbo in his left shoulder and pushed him a bit forward by the momentum of the arrow while the third arrow struck it in the back of the head and poked out through the front of the gobbo head, before the whole body bursted apart in anima as it died. Oddy then noted he had to get down as fast as possible before the remaining goblins spotted him and compromised his position. WC 342 with Wordcounter.net SaskiaMitsuru Kirishima

Saskia had her hands a bit full with the two goblins that she had managed to intercept, she gritted her teeth as she saw one slip by her. She contemplated running back, she had to rescue him. No..Mitsuru could hold his own, she hoped as her shield got pushed back by the clammer of a steel axe scraping against it. It was a chaotic situation. Having to focus on her own survival for the good of the group as a whole while she knew her comrade was about to be assaulted by a ravaging goblin. The whole concept pissed her off. If only she hadn’t been overwhelmed so easily, she possibly could have gotten the other beast in range to distract him with a taunting shout. However, now was not to time to think about what could have been as she danced about the battlefield, her eyes trained on the aggravated duo, as they shifted their feet about the floor. It was like an intricate dance as they weaved about the battlefield, searching for weaknesses in their opponents stance, in their posture. Saskia iron greaves stepped to the side slowly, as she began to remember what Pen, her sparring partner and mentor in the art of swordplay taught her. She made sure not to cross her feet over each other as that would begin to make her stance very unstable. She slowly shift her feet over as the creatures howled at her.
Shit...alright Saskia, it’s just like been taught you, wait for the oppurtune moment...patience is everything, no reason to get all nervous. Stay focused and watch for telegraphing movements. Shit, these bastards are really neeping ugly. I hope Mitsuru’s holding up alright...for now I got to do my best with these guys and cleaning up the forest a bit...
She toggled on her [Cool Defense] and [Knight’s Heart] skills and awaited for her opponent to strike. As she was illuminated in the light blue silhoutte, it swirled in a chaotic mixture with her black aura from the Gluttonous haze spell. Her eyes bulged as she saw the goblin with the two daggers, flip his weapons into a reverse grip and leap into the air like a wild panther pouncing on it’s prey. She gripped her blade and clenched her shield against her heart. As the predator grew near, she cleaved her sword upwards as she executed her [Counter Break] upon the goblin, her sword ripping upward into the beast, knocking it upward as it clawed out at the air flailing about. The momentum of the strike spun Saskia around as her sword began to absorb a stream of anima from the beast and it healed her wounds. The dark aura began to disperse as the black vapors left her. Pivoting on her forward heel, she slammed her back foot into the dirt, and leaned forward, plunging her sword into the gut of the monster as he gripped at her blade and scratched at it before shattering into shards of transparent anima bubbles. She withdrew her blade over her shield and skirt across the field before she heard cold steel pierce virgin skin from behind her. Her face flinched back, distracted at Mitsuru, as she quivered her eyes in despair at the sight.
Damn it! The neeping pricks have got Mitsu, shit...how could I have let this happen, I’m so sorry Mitsu. Freaking hell...how could I let that one slip by me? I should have been more careful. It’s my freaking role to keep my people safe. Why the hell didn’t I choose more aggro skills? Gah! I’ll think about it later. I’m coming, Mitsu!
“Mitsuru!” She shouted as she ran over towards him, abandoning her post and engagement with the armored goblin and having given chase towards Mitsuru’s opponent, the scream still echoed through her mind. Her eyes trembled with fear coated in anger as she saw him wince from his wounds. He was so far away. She had to hurry. His red eyes held a demonic glow of vengeance, as he stood up to face his oppressor. He cocked his fist back and sent his best punch towards the scowling goblin. He was a brave lad, but Saskia knew that it would take more than just that to quell the beast. He stood there toe to toe with the goblin. She could sense the state of caution that overwhelmed him, and she tried to shout some reassurances.
“I’m so sorry, Mitsu, don’t worry, I’m coming!” Saskia shouted as she stormed off after him. She readied her blade for combat, until she heard the whisper of an arrow shoot over head and struck the goblin in the bum. Saskia kept pressing forward to notice a second arrow strike swift arrow strike the goblin’s shoulder as it’s cries rang out through the forest. Those cries were shortlive, however, as a third and final arrow dove into the beast’s skull and protruded out of the front of his head before collapsing and bursting into anima vapors. Saskia slid to a halt and looked over Mitsuru’s wounds. She waved her hand out in front of her towards him and pulsed out her palm, making her fingers stretch out as she casted a [Heal] spell.
“Hey! You’re going to be alright! I got your back!” Saskia shouted as she turned to meet an incoming axe to her platemail. In her sudden rush she had forgotten about the armored goblin that had attacked her earlier in an effort to help her friend. She would have paid the price for her impulsiveness as her health bar began to descend. Fortunately for her that she had her [Cool Defense] skill still activated, otherwise, she would have suffered a massive critical strike from the blow. Still it was strong enough to knock her on her ass and she fell back against a tree in the woods. She looked down at the dent in her armor, before she watched the goblin raise his axe above her head,, it would only be a few seconds before he would strike...

Three arrows stuck the goblin which had assaulted Mitsu earlier on. The beast bursted into anima bubble shards, they were beautiful. They looked like a rainbow of one thousand different colors. The left part of his body was numb and cold he could feel blood sliding on the left part of his body and dripping from his dark finger tips. He was breathing heavily but Saskia had managed to get by his side. She had just casted a heal upon his wounds which started to feel warm. His hit points were increasing and his wound started closing itself and blood stopped pouring out of it. He felt a warm and reassuring aura when the spell had been casted. He smiled faintly to the pink haired woman as he whispered. "Thank you, for the help." The situation had not been the best possible. The positioning was broken, because of him both the assassin and the guardian had to help Mitsu'. They both compromised their own safety for his sake. He bit his lips in anger. He was being defended by people he had just known and that for not longer than a few days or one or two weeks. He clenched his fist tightly in a mixture of fear and anger. Why was he in this group if it was to be a dimwit ? He was the one slowing them down and putting them at risk in this mission. He raised his head to see Saskia already turning around, he shouted too late. "Becarfu..."The noise of steel against an armor echoed throughout the whole place... Then the silence before her body hit the trunk of the tree several meters behind her. The blow was strong and she had took it instead of him. Once again she had been here to defend him against all odds. The goblin slowly approached the woman raising his axe in air above her head. He looked as a executioner ready to behead someone on the signal from the king. Mitsu imagined the result and swallowed with difficulty at the idea of seeing such a scene. He rose his right arm stretching it towards the beast, palm facing the sky and fingers just a bit curled up as if he was holding a ball. "Don't you dare you cocky beast !" he shouted in rage. A black swirling mist turned around his right lifted arm. And he whispered words as an incantation. "Pain... Affliction !"A concentrated stream of Miasma fired from his hand to the goblins arm holding the axe above the woman's head. He aimed for that particular spot to make the beast let go of its weapon. Pain affliction worked as the following : it causes a strong sensation of pain depending on where the burst made contact with. The goblin shouted in pain releasing its grip of the axe which fell just beside Saskia's body splitting the dirt with its sharp blade. The goblin's attack speed was reduced by 25% and that would give the possibility for Mitsu' to get there in time and avoid the beast to attack the girl. I can't lose someone else !One step after another he started running towards the goblin which had just started turning towards the boy. Mitsu' lowered his upper body as if he was bowing, his arms stretched wide open left to right as he readied to tackle the beast as he had never done before. Saskia's heal would not be in vain. She had just to wait his second [Tainted Charity] heal after he would beat the crap out of this monster. ] "I got you !"His shoulder made contact with the goblin and his arms circled the goblin's chest. The impact with its armor and Mitsu's body was harsh. But something else stroke him deeper... Both, in the speed of the tackle flew several meters away. He still had a good grip on the goblin, they were both on the group but it was under him. His hands swiftly moved, the left one griped the beasts ugly neck as he cocked his right hand blowing another punch in its face. Hopefully it was armored completely but didn't have a helm. "Why are you smiling ?!"The goblin had this taunting expression, his eyes weren't looking at Mitsu but at the tips of both of his hands. His red eyes dropped to look at the same thing, feeling warmth in the middle of his stomach before coughing. "You bastard..."The boy closed his eyes in anger. Both of his hands pushing away the ones of the goblin holding the dagger. Slowly but surely he managed to pull it out coughing more with a faint smile on his face. [Gluttonous Haze] was back of being on cooldown. It was a 4 second cast time. His left grip tightened around the goblin's neck almost trying to crush its throat. A dark mist surrounded his entire body as he started casting [Gluttonous Haze] on himself. His whole body was engulfed in a dark and unwelcoming mist, his red glare pierced into the goblins eyes and his smile grew bigger as sadistic would. His nose twitched, smelling blood and a little laugh exhaled from his lungs. He stroke the goblin with his right hand with a twitch of pain in his expression. The cut in his stomach was a real pain to deal with, it was the center of one's body and whatever motion he would do would be painful. His left fist sunk into the goblins face breaking its nose, blood spit out as a couple of anima shards. Those shards were simultaneously engulfed by the dark mist surrounding him and restored several of his HPs. Mitsu' hadn't stopped striking the beast with both left and right fist one after another. Blood splattered all over his hands, face and clothes. The beast was lock down and being beaten up. One last strike finished the beast as its complete body vanished and materialized in anima shards swallowed by the black mist as a glutton would do with his food. His knees to the cold ground and his hands. "It's gone..."He turned his head slowly towards Saskia and fainted a smile. He hoped he hadn't scared anyone concerning what he had just done to the beast. Both Gluttonous Haze and Pain Affliction were on cooldown. Pain affliction would have been better used on the boss but the situation had changed and if he hadn't done that, she would have probably been beheaded by her opponent. Tainted Charity wasn't on cooldown and he had 30 seconds left to heal Saskia a second time before it would revert as if no heals had been applied. He gently rose his right arm towards her and casted [Tainted Charity] which had a normal heal animation. "Thank you Oddy." he muttered in the party communication. His stomach wound was closed thanks to Gluttonous Haze he had casted upon himself. He got back on his feet and stepped towards the girl. Stretching out his hand down to her in a welcoming manner. The dark mist of the spell disappeared. The 10 seconds had passed. "Thank you..."A childish and joyful smile and expression carved his face and he closed his eyes a bit embarrassed by what had just happened. No No No No! Screamed Oddy in his mind, as he slid down the half broken tree, while in the distance he saw Saskia breaking away from the group and going after Mitsuru to help him but leaving her back wide open to attack from the Goblins. He groaned as he saw Saskia getting hit in the back and landing on her back with a Goblin who wielded a big axe heaving it over her as to behead the guardian, but then he saw something unexpected he heard mitsuru shouting something and then casting a spell, which made the Goblin drop its axe right next to Saskia´s body. Good save. Thought Oddy as he touched down on the ground and started running to get in range, then he noticed the remaining Orc that did not go after Saskia and grabbed the arrow hovering next to him out of mid-air loaded it on his bow, bent his fingers around the string pulling it back and letting it go. As the arrow hit the goblin in the back of the knee, Oddy drew another arrow from his Quiver while running full speed and let it fly, just after he let the 2nd arrow fly he drew another and stopped, before aiming it at the throat and firing. Then he started to run in the general direction of Saskia and Mitsuru. As he passed the Goblin, the Goblin got hit by the two remaining arrows in flight and bursted apart in anima just as Oddy ran by. Oddy stopped in his tracks as he saw that Mitsuru did a very unconventional thing…He hugged the enemy and went to the ground, as he saw that Mitsuru had a look of pain on his face he started to run again, just when he was about 6 meters away he saw that Mitsuru had started to literally hit the Goblin with his fists and winning, with every hit that he did Oddy saw that Mitsuru gained health back. Smart man. thought Oddy as Mitsuru finished off the Goblin and stumbled towards Saskia to heal her but before that he heard him saying Sorry to him over telepathy, Oddy just shook his head as he walked to the others. “You showed them, that they can´t mess with you I´m proud of that.” Said Oddy genuinely happy “Now, we have about two weak goblins left and the head honcho. So we´ll need to get ready soon and kill them but since they expect us we can´t flank them anymore anyone have ideas?” Asked Oddy while holding his bow in his left hand waiting for the others to recover. Damn if only I had two melee weapons, I could be of more use. thought Oddy. WC 456 with wordcounter.net SaskiaMitsuru Kirishima

Thump. Thump. Thump.
Her heart resonated with the vibrant pounding of a war drum. Her mouth open as the flood of a silent scream as her scattered about the ground reaching out at empty patches of dirt, her clawing fingers only scratching at the soil, unable to find her steel sword. The seconds of her hourglass were waning, slipping like the earth clenched between her fingers. Her fingernails scraped violently until her trembling gaze fell upon the demonic creature, who grinned sinuously as he heaved his shoulders back, hurling the axe over his head and began to reverse the momentum to unleash his unfiltered wrath in a hellish fury towards Saskia’s sapphire eyes as they glistened with radiant rebellious glare as shifted her weight to roll over and bring her shield up. She counted the seconds in her head. She wouldn’t make it in time. The impact of the heretic’s arrogant tongue sliced through the breath of hopelessness Saskia felt as a malicious assault burst from his hands and pounded into the goblin’s arm, feeling it with a seering heat of pain as the beast stopped momentarily clenching it’s arm.
It snarled in a rough grunt as the weapon plummeted from it’s fingers. The yellow pupils of it’s black eyes swirled around to stare at Mitsuru in rage as saliva drip from it’s lips. Saskia blinked uncertain of what the hell just happened, but it looked like the timid heretic had just managed to kick things up a notch. He had that same devilish grin in his eyes.
Is he...is he...enjoying this?
Saskia stared at him as she watch his bold aggression build up into a storming charge as rushed in like a raging bull and thrust his shoulder into the beast. No one on earth could even fathom the about of drugs that had to be surging in this man’s system for him to do something so wild and crazy, but whatever it was, Saskia was definitely thankful for it as the pounding in her chest began to shift from fear to adrenaline. She squinted up as Mitsuru locked his arms around the beast and grappling him around the chest as he and the goblin fell to the floor. Saskia snapped out of her trance from merely being a watcher and pushed herself off from the dirt. She shook her head roughly, feeling slightly dizzy still, then caught the gleam of her sword that lay by her feet. As she leaned over to pick it up quickly, hearing the harsh sounds of fist colliding with a sturdy cheekbone. Her wolf ears twitch when she heard Mitsu shouting, she snap her right to the right, her pink whirlwind of hair swaying, as she did so. Her eyes bulged as she gritted her teeth to see a dagger pluncged into the half alvs side.
The sinuous laugh of the goblin howled throughout the forest as Mitsuru fell shut, and like a wild gorilla he shoved the Goblin’s hands away, and gripped the dagger, slowly sliding the bloody weapon out of his side. Saskia was caught in shock, paralyzed from the sight, the boy coughed roughly as Saskia eyed his health bar decreasing. He seemed to still maintain his cocky grin as those demonic eyes swirled into a darker, more crimson, shade of red and he gripped the beast around the neck. Before infusing the monster with a blast of miasma, and beating the living hell out of it, as he began to tactically withdraw health back from the defiling creature. It was was utter mayhem and anguish being spilled over each blow until the beast burst into bubbles. A rather...unfitting theme for such a brutal beating, it was madness at it’s very heart.
Saskia lifted a thumbnail, to scratch at her nose, as she still smelled the blood in the air, she watched as the boy’s wound closed as he stepped over to her. She sniffed roughly and examined Mitsuru to make sure he was physically...and mentally okay.
She looked up at him and winced slightly as he exuberated a childish smile. It looked somewhat disturbing to her, how he coud smile so cheerfully after something like that. She was sure gad this guy was on her side. The miasmic corruption aura around her from his spell began to disperse, unknowingly to her. She accepted his hand graciously, nevertheless.
“Hate to have to see what you’d be like if you weren’t on our side...that was...really something back there...I’m gad you’re safe though. Let’s check up on Oddy..”
Suddenly she heard a few footsteps come up and she raised her sword up, pointing the tip of her sword at the source of the noise.
“Oh, shit...it’s you. “ Saskia exclaimed as she lowered her blade, then paused to listen to his brief words of affirmation for the teenager.
“Yeah, kid’s got some spunk...but the show’s not over yet.” Saskia added as she tapped the blade on the edge of her shoulder and began walking over towards the group of gobs.
She waved a hand for the others to follow.
“Alright, so I have a few skills that up my aggro presence, I don’t have any AoE aggros, but I do have my taunting shout for the big guy. I’m thinking...that we’ll have to engage them head on. I can use my taunts on the big guy, but we focus our attacks on the lower level goblins, starting with the one on the left. Now this is going to be a shitty situation, so I saw we should take a good minute to rest our-...” Saskia began to feel a sharp penetration in her thigh. “neeping hell!” She cried out as she glanced at her leg. She turned her head, raising her shield to intercept another arrow, as it pinged off her shield.
“neep, Archers, thirty meters! On top of the boulders Oddy, you see them!” Saskia shouted as she dashed forward. The incoming fire was brutal as she felt another arrow pierce her shoulder. “Gah...damn it...it’s a bloody ambush!” She shouted as her vigor was waning. A goblin could be seen charging at her much larger than the others, he wielded a heavy warhammer and was charging straight towards Mitsu. Saskia quickly engaged the beast with a [Taunting Shout] and raised her sword at him as they dashed toward each other. The singe of the sound of an arrow shooting past her forehead made her wince as the Goblin warrior heaved his warhammer and smacked it across Saskia’s ribcage, knocking her back wildly. She laid face down in the dirt, as she tried to force herself up with her sword.
Meanwhile, the pull was being drawn with an arrow nocked on it...

After finishing off that goblin of his, Mitsu had been praised by both Oddy and Saskia. Although his eyes stared at the woman expressions which were going all about her face. It was as if he had been a monster when he was on top of that beast shoving his fists into his face. She was like a doctor examining his patient on a rendezvous. He tilted his head as to figure out what she was thinking. Is she thinking I'm crazy or something ? Did I do something wrong ? He didn't manage to seize what had gone wrong. He had only wanted to defend her and protect the people of his party. His right hand joined the back of his skull as sign of embarrassment. He kept a smile attached to his lips and the compliments flew from both the assassin and the guardian. Even her voice though sounded as if he had scared her in the way he beat the goblin back there. "I didn't do much ! Lucky enough you guys are with me !"He thumbed up Oddy with a larger smile to his compliments and laughed joyfully shrugging of laughter. Even though they had gotten through several goblins it wasn't yet finished an even more remained to get rid of. He was on cooldown on both [Gluttonous Haze] and [Pain Affliction] he had to use [Tainted Charity] to heal Saskia up, he could wait still a bit more even if his HP had dropped to about 59% and his MP near 78%. He was a support but looking at his HP he hadn't only done this in the current group. Normally as a support player you wouldn't lose too much HP and wouldn't need to heal. You would only get damaged by either AOE effects or a mob quickly slipping from the tank, however that had occurred more than just once. We have to start recovering our HPs and MPs... We need to rest just a bit.It had to rest it wasn't really a choice, the only one in the group party that hadn't been hurt yet was Oddy as he was full HP. Mitsu's red eyes skipped through the party board checking everyone's status and it wasn't for the best for both him and Saskia. She was standing at 71% HP and 76% MP. He sighed in relief to the fact they could start resting. He started following Saskia and Oddy as they walked further on the way. She was establishing a strategy which seemed totally fine to him as he nodded with a small smile. She seems to be a fine strategist...An arrow flew by his side and pierced through the delicate skin of the pink haired girl. She screamed in pain as she cursed violently. "We don't have time to rest..." A sigh of disbelief exhaled from his lungs as he swiftly turned to check on Saskia's wound. But she had already tucked up her shield as another arrow pinged off of it. As he blinked, she wasn't her already, she had dashed forward into the enemy line. His eyes swiftly skimmed the battlefield as she gave instructions on where the enemies were located. Another arrow lodged itself into Saskia's flesh, in her shoulder. Arrows were flying and the simple battlefield seemed to have transformed into a complete chaos. They had been ambushed and nothing was going accordingly it was total mesh. The HP bar of the woman was dropping. She was entering close quarter combat with on titan of goblins. He was completely armored and had a huge war hammer. It had first started running towards him but Saskia had this time taunted the beast and it was now focusing her. But this wasn't a fair fight ! She won't make it...An arrow flew right near her head as she engaged the huge goblin flung his war hammer into her ribcage. She couldn't be concentrated on the fight if arrows flew around her body when trying to move. He nodded to Oddy to take care of that goblin archer as quick as possible he shouted as they had no time to rest. "Oddy ! Take that guy down !"The pink wolf haired woman was propelled backwards eating the dirt. He ran to her side sliding on the ground with his kneels, opening his grimoire letting out a dark, thin and unwelcoming mist. A spike projectile came out of dark a filthy book, his right hand grabbed the dark spike and threw it an impressive speed towards the goblin to win some time. "Don't move..." His right hand gently dropped on her shoulder as he casted [Tainted Charity] a 3rd time, cumulating her corruption points to 6. It was still insignificant and wouldn't include any side effects yet. She was still at stage 0 which was the only reassuring thing he had kept for himself. After the 2 second cast time the heal engulfed her body and he attached a reassuring smile to his face which said "Don't worry everything is going to be alright." The giant goblin had yet been stopped because of his projectile but was already on the run, they could hear each of his steps pounding the ground. He hands came in support of her waist and shoulder trying to help her get up, they had to hurry. While Oddy takes care of the archers, we'll take care of this dude...Two other dark misty spikes came out of the book as the blood red eyed boy pulled them quickly out of it. He threw one at a time targeting the beasts legs just on top of its kneels. Both of the projectile spikes pierced through the heavy armor of the goblin making it kneel to the ground. A faint corner smile slipped on Mitsu's lips. He had to win some time for Saskia to recover from the heavy hit she had suffered. This wasn't just a quest anymore, this was a fight to stay alive and not go have a tour at the cathedral. His eyes turned towards the girl to take a look at her condition but it was surely the deepest mistake he had done on a battlefield... Emotions... Emotions are not something you should bring on a warzone.Even though the goblin had been struck in both the upper legs and Mitsu' had thought of it as a time winner, the beast didn't seem to think the same thing. It had already pounced forward in a sudden unknown rage towards him arming its warhammer to give one of his toughest shots. Out of time the boy tucked his arms on the right part of his body to harden his posture. This is ba...Everything went fast, he felt his body really light and his feet weren't touching the ground anymore. The tremendous and violent impact lifted him of the ground. It was like levitating just a little. It was one hell of a strange sensation. His entire face was distorted, suffering from the hit. He opened his mouth wide, screaming in atrocious pain. Every ounce of his body was yelling at him that something wasn't going the right way. CRACK !The hammer sunk into his right arm just under the shoulder shattering everything to pieces. His body distorted as if it followed the hammer which continued to pressure inside his flank. His grip on his grimoire loosened, dropping to the floor. His eyes wide opened, startled at the ferocious hit which propelled him meters away at incredible speed. The body of the boy was like a puppet rolling on the ground surrounded by dust until finally brutally hitting to a stop the trunk of a tree. His body slid slowly the long of the tree until collapsing to the ground. His eyelids partially opened but his vision was blurred. He had been reckless on that move and it cost him much more then he had expected. He coughed in pain and even coughing hurt him. He was stretched out on the ground and in a complete mess. It was impossible for him to move as if the hit had given him a debuff. The game was surprisingly realistic in every possible aspect. Maybe it was the most terrifying thing about it not being a game anymore. I should just stay here... Shit... I can't move... It hurts.Blood was now covering his right side and starting from his shoulder. The warhammer impact had surely broken something but he preferred not imagining the state of his body at that moment. His eyelids slowly closed as a tear gently slid to the ground absorbed by the soil. He couldn't do anything anymore. Was he just a burden ?... His HP had dropped extremely low, every sound seemed fuzzy. His body was twitching and convulsing in pain as he tried casting [Tainted Charity] on himself but he just couldn't move anymore to do it. At least he gave some time for Saskia to move and get the beast off guard... maybe... Words: 1510 Tags: oddytiudnir SaskiaSong : Over hereSpells Used: Tainted Charity : 10 second cooldown

It felt like everything was going in slow motion as Oddy saw Saskia getting hit by the first arrow, the second one pinging off her shield and then a few more hitting her but pinging off then a third one hitting her in the shoulder, all the while Oddy had only one thought. They must pay.His eyes filled with directed anger at the Archers on the boulders and Oddy made a move to grab his bow and began to draw an arrow from the quiver as he noticed Saskia using taunting shout to distract the big Goblin cladded in armour and wielding a heavy Warhammer, he saw her getting hit in the rib cage and hitting the ground and trying to get up by pushing herself with her sword. Got to help her.Was the thought Oddy had when he made a step towards her, but one person was faster than Oddy, it was Mitsuru coming to Saskia´s rescue once again he watched as Mitsuru opened up his Grimoire took out a magical dark projectile and literally threw it at the big Goblin stopping it in its tracks and giving Mitsuru a few precious seconds needed to heal Saskia and get her away from the Goblin then he saw Mitsuru grabbing two spikes and aiming specifically for the knees of the beast, making it kneel “Serves it right.” Oddy muttered under his breath and as he thought they had won some more seconds, he was shocked to find it suddenly charging forward, gripping its Warhammer, Mitsuru shielding the right side of his own body and then the Warhammer striking him, propelling him to the left flying a couple of meters hitting the ground throwing up dust in the air and then hitting a tree. He also noticed Mitsuru had lost grip on his grimoire and thought. This is bad, this is really really bad!Oddy lifted his bow, drawing an arrow from the Quiver, while his breathing went a bit fast as Oddy closed his eyes and stabilised his breath he noticed the sound of an arrow hitting the ground just in front of him and then another narrowly missing his face causing Oddy to open his eyes again. He aimed at the Archer on the boulder and fired at the same time as he started to run, then he drew another arrow and fired it at the same Archer on the boulder. The arrows hit the Archer both in the intended spots and the Archer fell off the boulder and died as it collided with the ground, bursting apart in anima. Think about what you are going to do Oddy! I know it’s a bad idea! Don´t do what I Darin Darkbow did! Don´t frigging do it! Was the thought going around in Oddy´s head as he ran at the big Goblin, then pushing his feet off from the ground, jumping and twisting his body till he was up side down, he drew another arrow and let it loose at the big Goblin´s back, as the arrow struck Oddy smiled behind his black scarf and then frowned as he saw the Heavy Warhammer going for him . His only thought was. I told you so. Before he got hit in his stomach, he spat out blood as it came out in a wave and stained his black scarf, his arms tensing while his legs went limp. Eyes nearly popping out of their sockets because of the pain and then propelled by the hit, he flew right at the remaining weak Goblin scout armed with a bow on a boulder and smashed into it, his health bar dropping to about 30% and the impact rattling his bones, he fell off together with the weak Goblin scout from the boulder and then there was an audible snap as the weak Goblin scout died after hitting the ground, just before it died Oddy had landed on him, softening his landing and as Oddy looked up to the sky, he muttered. “Got them both…” Before closing his eyes and thinking. Worst idea ever, best outcome ever. Then he rolled over on his left side, his body trembling and shocking every now and then because of the horrible pain it was going through. Oddy shook his head to remove the stars he was seeing in front of his eyes and although wobbly, he began to limp back to the scene, he just rounded the corner when he paused against the boulder shaking his head again and thinking. Can…Flank him now.WC 756 with wordcounter.net SaskiaMitsuru Kirishima

Guardian - Cavalier - Brewer ____________________________________________________ Pain.
A violent ringing kept echoing through her head, pinging of the side of her skull. The toe of her iron greaves began to drag against the dirt leaving a trail, but her frail arm couldn’t lift her weight, and she ended up slipping and falling into the muddy ground, her face sloshed about in the mud, as her eyes began to return back to a docile blue hue, and her wolf ears twitched as her hair was soaked in the brown coat of mud, messing up the porcelain barbie doll features she held. Her cheek buried in the dirt, caked in mud residue, she blinked several times. With each blink, she could see a blurry frame by frame of the next sequence of events that ensued.
Mitsuru had conjured up a dreadful looking thorn and had gripped it in his hands and hurled it at his opponent like a javelin with an Olympian throw. The spike shattered into the beasts armor, but had little effect on stopping it as it advanced towards them. Saskia tried to find the words to mutter to him but they only became breathless murmurs as Saskia became wrapped in the cosmic mist of [Tainted Charity] He felt her health bar increase as she felt as if her dislocated shoulder snap back into place. Her gold eyes began to illuminate once more and swirl violently as she heaved heavily, trying to once more use her sword to rise to her feet. She planted her heel into the ground, and sloshed a hand into the mud, swinging it up to grab the hilt of her sword with both hands, she panted, looking at the goblin beserker in anger. She gripped onto Mitsuru for assistance and brandished her blade over her shield. Her eyes cut to Mitsuru as he began channeling energy for an offensive strike.
Shit..Mitsu, no, fall back! What are you doing on the front lines!?!
Mitsuru took up the offense and began to fire two more dark icicles toward the goblins legs, but the goblin ate the blows like candy as he stampeded towards them. Heaving his behind him in a violently swing, he knocked Mitsuru out of the park in one sadistic bone crackling swing, as the hammer dug into his flesh and possibly bent bone. Saskia grimaced at the sight as she looked in horror as Mitsuru flew like a rag doll, hurling straight into a tree before Saskia heard the thunderous smack of his spine crash against the tough oak. After watching him splatter, she figured she was next up for the violent singe of pain.
Thwack!
Too soon. She had got another arrow in her right arm. She was starting to look like a wolf hair pincushion as she backed away to see the ranged assassin drop one of the targets like flies. Saskia gave a nod of approval after watching one fall of a cliff, but her eyes drifted up to the second archer that was pinning her down. The only way to reach him was to used a ranged weapon, which she didn’t have so there was nothing she could even do about the situation. She focused her attention on the Goblin warrior with the warhammer that seemed to be channeling energy on building up his strength, he then started to stomp towards her until out the corner of of eye a crazed acrobat shoot the damn thing in the back, therefore made it more pissed than a gorilla thumping at it’s chest. Saskia gritted her teeth and scowled at the sight.
“Oddy, you crazy motherfu-...” Saskia stuttered as her eyes bulged at him get flung like a human pinata and land across the goblin archer, bursting the poor creature into anima.
“Nice one, Oddy...” Saskia muttered as she shifted her feet into a more defensive posture. She began skirting back as her eyes quickly peaked over at Mitsuru. Her eyes froze like icebergs as she noticed that he was almost out cold. His health bar was almost depleted. He was hanging on by a thread with only ten percent of his health and his strength waning. It seemed that he had lost the will to fight. Trying to analyze the situation, she glanced down at the HUD. Her health was at 68% after being healed and then, shot with an arrow. Her assassin was still in the fight, however, and had 30% health which meant he couldn’t possibly survive another hit or two, but at least he had the terrain to his advantage. But it seemed like he was too busy recovering for him to be of instant use.
Saskia looked back up to hear that the goblin warrior was began to charge towards Mitsuru, while she was distracted with the HUD.
Shit, shit, shit...No!
Saskia charged in after him, her taunting shout off, cooldown. She cried out in a vicious war cry using her ability [Taunting Shout], but the beast simply shrugged it off and kept charging. It seemed that in his three spikes he had hurled at the beast, he had done far too much damage. Saskia began to run after him, but she wasn’t gaining any momentum.
neep, neep, what do I do?
Saskia said as she scanned her HUD. She glanced at her own personal data. Then she caught something rather peculiar that stood out to her. She looked up and saw the the beast was closing in on Mitsu, as she put her finger and thumb in her mouth, she whistled sharply and the thundering rain of hooves slammed against the surface and galloped quickly toward the Goblin.
The brutal beserker grinned as he prepared to ready his battlehammer as a gallant white stallion stampeded towards him and spun around sending a vicious back kick towards him. As the colt was much stronger with his strong back legs, he knocked the beast back, sending him into the mud face first, as he glared up towards the horse, shaking the mud from his gray haired balding scalp.
Saskia charged in, blade in hand and sent a swift thrust to the Goblin’s abdomen, piercing the veil of his green skin. The beast squirmed as his health dropped to Twenty five percent. However, Saskia didn’t realize that in it’s rage, it was biding it’s time for a counter attack and sent her hurdling into a nearby lake, where her movement speed was lowered by twenty percent.
As the pool of cold liquid washed over her, she became enshrouded in bubbles that chilled her skin and froze her bones. Her golden orbs began to flicker out as she looked up into the blurry waters, and could only wonder what hell was breaking loose outside as she gargled the cold liquid from below the murky depths.

Guardian - Bodyguard - Artisan ____________________________________________________
It was late afternoon by the time Pen was finished with her contract with a small fox tail girl. She had pleaded with her back in a Londonium inn to be her bodyguard while she picked flowers of all things. The red haired guardian ran her leather wrapped digits through her grungy, unkempt hair. Remnants of boars' blood and slime goo still clung to her clothes and hair. A dull ache rolled through her shoulder as penance for an ugly dive she was forced to take in order to protect Aria, her client. With the help of a Swashbuckler named Ashtver, Aria had been able to complete her mission. However, not before damage could be inflicted and painful stories could emerge. Ashtver, the pseudo-tank, somewhat crowd control swashbuckler had assisted in keeping the small fox tail safe, even going so far as to offer to make her a new blade, and farther still in offering free repairs to her. Despite his generous offer the guardian had her honor to think of and refused his generosity in terms of fair payment for services rendered. He agreed, unphased by her refusal, he did accept the guardian's request that he create new armor for her when she out leveled her current gear. Which seemed to be rather soon from the way she'd been going at it.
So here it was, late afternoon, nigh on evening and Pen was trudging through the skeletal remains of some town Saskia message her about earlier in the day. Due to her other client she hadn't been able to assist early on. Luckily her client found the flowers she was after and their party disbanded. Aria had traveled with Ashtver, her newly appointed "big brother". The idea sounded silly to her, claiming someone as sibling when you'd only just met them? It sounded like a bad idea to her but she didn't voice her opinion on it much when the conversation was on that topic. Since her arrival in Blackwood, aptly named, Pen had been on edge. Something about the area sent chills down her spine and she wanted to find Pinky and her group quickly before the town's icy claws really dug into her. The guardian set off in search of her friend.
It took the better part of an hour to find the walkway Saskia had told her about, the fog had thickened since her arrival in the town, giving the area a very Raccoon City sort of feel. The idea of zombies being around here made her skin crawl. I really don't like that idea. She thought, a sliver of fear pressed against her gut. In the real world, Sarah, aka Pen Ddraig has been scared of the zombie concept since the old school George A Romero, Dawn of the Dead movie reared its ugly head. Since then it's been all out war on her nerves and emotions; which was something Sarah despised about her tough girl appearance. She felt like she shouldn't be scared when she was faced with something like that. But that was her macho man mentality of being strong for everyone. Feeling that showing herself break down would ruin her image and make others treat her like she was vulnerable. Luckily, over the years, Sarah had found her heart, her bravery and used that as her light in the darkness. Though she still hates zombies with a passion.
The walkway was shrouded in the dense fog; as Pen walked stepped onto the wooden boards that made up the bridge, they creaked and groaned. They were old and damp due to years of constant exposure to the elements. Half way across the creaking wood Pen met with a figure, he said his name was Aldius. She inquired about Saskia's group to which he answered her question and sent her in search of a pale woman with short hair named Charlotte. Pen thanked the man and ventured forth, soon after she found a woman that matched the description Aldius gave. After Pen rudely interrupted her they exchanged few words but the woman directed her to where her friend was headed. In search of some Goblin cave and the ingredients the woman wanted. Pen thanked the woman and set out into the marsh.
Heavy plate armor does not mix well with a marsh. She thought, letting out a groan as she pulled her armor clad feet from mud. Each time she pulled her foot free top take a step forward the vacuum-like effect of the mud would try to suck her foot back down with a *plop*. Pen fought her way through the worse part of the marsh till the ground leveled out and rose into a more solid terrain. Dark trees with aged leaves laid out before her. Is the distance she could hear the faint sounds of battle. Despite her already tired and sore muscles Pen pressed the sole of her boot against the earth and pushed, igniting her screaming muscles in fire as her blood pumped through them, propelling her toward the sounds. It didn't take long for the wolf hair to arrive, even with her fatigue she was capable or running long distances in her armor without tiring so easily, the perk of constantly wearing the armor. As Pen rounded a small ticket of dead trees she felt something hit her pauldron and skit off. No damage was done.
Pen immediately took a step back behind the trees and shrugged her shield from her back and onto her left arm. She surprised herself as she hadn't already done that. With her shield securely on her arm, the warrior drew her blade as her body underwent it's normal transformation for battle. The red hairs on her head fluffed out and lengthened an inch and some change, her red furred canine ears sprouted from her mess of red wires. Lastly, the emerald green shade her eyes were normally melted away, revealing a glow as if she had molten gold in her eye sockets. With her transformation complete she turned the corner and raised her shield to block anymore incoming projectiles but as she rounded the trees once more a body collided with the archer, causing his corpse to erupt into a flurry of anima. Pen scanned the battle field, she saw a boy with white hair limp against a tree trunk, and another against a boulder. The cause of the damage seemed to be a level six goblin scout, a heavily wounded level six goblin scout at that. A goblin that had his eyes set on the white haired youth. Pen watched for a moment as the monster took two steps toward the downed boy. "Shit, covering wont work here. But..." Pen glanced at the goblin's feet. He was on a slightly elevated patch of earth. "Not equal." She seethed and rushed in, advancing on the beast.
The goblin was wielding a warhammer, something that was great against someone in heavy armor. It's blunt force could crush the plates and cause a multitude of injuries without even hitting the target's fleshy body. Pen was within five meters now and the goblin turned at the sound of her armor clad boots against the ground. His beady eyes focused on her and he let out a blood-curdling roar and took two large steps and swung his war hammer at the advancing guardian. The goblin threw every ounce of his weight behind the swing. Pen felt for the skill she wanted and drew back her sword arm, ignoring the arch in her shoulder she clashed with the goblin's attack. He was strong, no doubt, the blow sent a shockwave through Pen's body, but he was five levels lower than the wolf hair and that gave her the edge. Her skill [Counter Break] activated and sent the goblin's warhammer back around, effectively throwing him off guard.
Pen took the attack of opportunity and drove her starter long sword into the monster's chest cavity, warm ichor splattered against her face as she twisted the blade and followed up with [Shield Smash] to his head, causing a resonating crack. The goblin's body went limp and slumped to the ground. Pen looked at it's life bar and noticed three percent remained. Caught in the heat of the battle she lifted her heavy boot and drove the heel into the goblin's skull in the same spot she used her shield on. It opened like a watermelon busted on a sidewalk. Its body rippled then burst into anima. Pen stood with her face covered in the goblin's blood and took a moment to catch her breath before she looked around. "Saskia?!" She called as her eyes fell to the white haired youth. "Bollocks." She breathed as she slid next to the boy. "Hey, hey, kid. Can you hear me?" She asked, stopping herself from checking his pulse. She knew he wasn't dead from the health bar, but what about where Saskia was? Pen didn't know and it started to worry her. "Are you alright? Where's Saskia?"

He heard heavy and angry footsteps closing up on him. Is it the armored goblin ?He couldn't find the strength to get up, the right side of his body had been crushed by the monstrous warhammer. He was like a doll lying on the ground eyelids almost shut and darkness engulfing his body. Is this over ?All of a sudden a sort of angelic horse sound came to his ears making him curious but kind of happy that it would maybe be the last sound he would hear before returning to the cathedral. But it wasn't his time to go apparently. He heard the clogs hit against a massive armor of the goblin warrior as this one flew away, propelled by the strength of the horse's back hoofs. He listened carefully as if he could pick up more information trying to breath as silently as possible. All of a sudden another hit against an armor banged through the silent forest and a *plouf* sound erected from the nearby lake. His body convulsed timidly as he tried moving and bring his upper body up the trunk to sit... It was a pathetic and sad attempt as he failed wincing in distress at the injuries he had upon his small body. He try to shout out her name but the right side of his lungs and ribcage prevented him from doing so as a timid murmur exhaled from his mouth. "Saskia... Oddy... are you o..k...?" He had to help them... He had to move. I can't... I can't... I'm sorry... I'm so sorry. He sobbed at his inability to help out one last time. He almost blacked out but suddenly heard a footsteps again pounding the ground and a massive *pock* on the ground. His eyelids had opened just a tiny bit as the light peeked in between them making his vision all blurry. He swallowed slowly and painfully as he coughed in a gentle agony. He heard a resonating crack and then the forest went silent a second time. He then heard the dirt on the ground slide in a *shhrrt* kind of noise as if you were creasing paper in both hands. A hand gently slid under his head and both the index and the middle finger of the other hand went to check his pulse. His eyes opened slowly as he saw a woman's face he had never seen before, he smiled in relief even if the pain was, like a snake, flowing through his entire body. He coughed up more blood slipping from his mouth and dripping from his chin. Someone had come to help them out, he was so happy and started laughing as tears dropped from the corner of his eyes mixing the saline with the dark red blood, dripping together on the floor. He heard her voice and, in an extreme effort lifted his left arm, stretching it out towards her face, his hand almost touching her cheek delicately. She was warm and her aura was reassuring it was such a great feeling. He felt like touching the sun. He didn't care about his situation, it could be as painful as hell he had to help out his comrades and his friends. They couldn't stay injured with him having done nothing to help. He didn't want anyone to get hurt and worse have a tour back at the cathedral. It was unknown to him what happened when you died in the "game". Did it have any side effects ? He wasn't sure, and in incertitude he didn't want to try it out, but if he had to in order to prevent others to go he would undoubtedly. As tears continued to rolling down his face he begged in a mixture of anger, distress and anguish. "Save her... Please save her !..."He coughed more, frowning as he suffered, he added. "I heard a noise in the lake..."His hand slid down her cheek and his index straightened out timidly as he pointed in the direction of the sound and shut his eyes. ""She can't swim in that armor..."His voice was sad as if each word would pierce through his heart like a spear right from hell, ravaging his joy and hopes. Each word was spoken with a pause between them. His left handed dropped in fatigue. He sighed with the expression of a tormented person and his body relaxed as if it could be his last effort. Pain and suffering were something you wouldn't experience as a person in front of your computer playing a MMO. You wouldn't feel the hits your character would take and you would only judge the amount of damage based of the depletion of your HP bar. However, since the apocalypse things became different. You embodied your character, feelings every single thing as if it was real life. Even if he had a little 10% left on his HP, the damage he had received made his body suffer way more then he could handle to get back up. Never would damage have been such a problem when it was a simple MMORPG. His whole upper body was numb... He tried to fight and get back up, but nothing would respond correctly. He just couldn't figure out a way to move it was like being under a paralyzing effect and unable to help your party members. "I need to become stronger. He rested on the ground. He couldn't do anything until a correct heal would be casted on him. Until then he would just wait. He was sure that stranger could finish up the work and help them out. His head slowly tilted on the right side keeping a thin smile as his hair slowly covered his eyes. He was in terrible shape but it didn't matter. It would never matter to be covered in blood for his friends. That what who he was and hoped he wouldn't change. Words: 991 Tags: Saskia Pen Ddraig oddytiudnirPost song: : Between Two Worlds

He spat a wad of blood on the ground and then stared at the Big Goblin, who was moving towards Mitsuru with calculated steps, but suddenly he saw Saskia moving in shouting something, he saw it did not have the proper effect and watched as the beast simply moved towards Mitsuru . “Weird, seems Mitsuru put a big deal of damage on it to ignore a tank.” Murmured Oddy while slipping down the side of the boulder Must. Sleep just a bit too much pain. Thought Oddy as he wanted to close his eyes, when he closed his eyes they went open again as he heard a sharp whistle and scrambled to get up only to get his left foot stuck on a stone and tripping, grunting as he landed on his left shoulder as he turned his head to look at where the sharp whistle came from, he saw a beautifully glorious stallion arriving, blinking at this magnificent creature he couldn´t help but notice. That it literally kicked with its hind legs and hit the big Goblin, causing it to bite the dust before getting up again, Oddy then noticed Saskia charging in getting a strike in which hurt it and then he saw how the big Goblin smacked Saskia right in to the big lake of the swamp and then Oddy cursed. “Can´t let that happen…Must get me arse back up and go after her, my injuries can wait Saskia cannot.” Muttered Oddy as he knew that if the Goblin would hear him, he would be finished. Then he watched as a new arrival bursted out of the bushes and started to attack the Goblin while they were locked in combat Oddy opened up the inventory and the character screen quickly dragging his bow to his inventory same with the armour and then closed the two screens as he stood there almost entirely naked he had one thought only. Gotta go fast and save Saskia from the depths! He then looked up just in time to see the big Goblin being finished off by the new arrival, as he saw that the new person walked to Mitsuru to check if he was alright Oddy had started to emerge from the boulder as he stood up and start to ran towards the lake. “No blub blubs for you Saskia! Darn it!” Said Oddy as he reached his top speed and was about 20cm away from the water he took a deep breath, leaped up in the air and dived in to the water where he opened up his eyes from the moment he impacted with the water and thought. Darn that’s cold as ice! Feck it! Saskia needs saving! And started to dive deeper. Then he saw some bubbles coming from deeper below and swam towards it, upon discovering Saskia he swam towards her and grabbed her hand and started to pull while swimming upwards hoping that he was not too late. Guardian - Cavalier - Brewer ____________________________________________________ We failed...
The thoughts flooded her mind as she felt the water rush around her and her hair drifted away from her scalp, caught up in the washing sensation that overwhelmed her. Screaming under water, she threw her hands up in the air. This was terrible! She was trapped and inhibited, and the worst part of all, was Mitsuru’s voice that followed her descent. It hadn’t been this dreary for a while, and she broke out into invisible tears. She remembered the feeling when her feet hit the water, and how soon she was enveloped in it’s cold embrace. She didn’t stop when she hit the water, the gravitational pull continuing to suck her under. It was then that she realized that the danger of combat wasn’t only about the fight, but the terrain, as she tried to escape the grip of the lake. A current caught a hold of her and tossed her about, dragging her down further still. She lost all sense of direction and the darkness gave no hint as to which way was up. The drowning ironclad guardian flailed against the strong hold of the water. It didn’t release her; it wanted to keep her prisoner in it’s black depths forever.
I can’t, she thought, it’s too strong.
I’m sorry, Mitsuru... Oddy...
The chill of the water sapped her will to fight. She felt her limbs begin to slow and become more languid. Once she stopped struggling, she could feel herself sinking. Vague, she thought at least she had regained her sense of direction. She watched passively as silver bubbles escaped her nose and rose above her in search of air. She should have been doing the same thing but she didn’t. She merely watched as her health bar began to slowly deplete.
In the distance, she saw a flash of orange . She tried to focus on it, and then she knew it was Oddy. He had come for her. Even in the darkness of the water, he shone ethereally. His skin was luminescent and smooth. Oddy floated towards her, his hair making a sunburnt halo towards her. On his face was a determined expression. Oddy reached for her and took her into arms. She thought he was there to save her, but then a sudden burst of clarity, she knew the truth, they were in the space between life and death, where anything was possible. All the tension left here body and she became weightless, boneless and whimpering. Her body felt like a spring, winding tighter and tighter as they spun in the current, and drifted further into the rampant river.
Icarus could sense her master was in trouble, and would neigh wildly as he ran to the edge of the water, stammering about the edge as his eyes frantically searched for her, but cautious not to enter the water himself. He grunted in an upset manner, and began to shake his head wildly, and stomp the ground in anger, feeling helpless. His head tilted at Pen, as if hoping that she could do something to aid them.
Below the murky depths, Saskia and Oddy would tumble and her metallic platemail would crash against chunk off rock, but Oddy would not let her go as he tugged with all his might, trying to heave the heavy woman up. Saskia felt helpless as they rolled and tumbled in the unwavering abyss. Oddy was strong, was the waves would proves to be a crazy beast that was unforgiving of all it’s captives that didn’t enjoy it’s hospitality. Saskia tried to help Oddy build momentum by kicking her feet. She was struggling in the heavy armor, but her wings spread wide from beneath the water as she flapped them, trying to inch closer and closer to the surface. She got a sliver of hope when she caught a glimmer of shining silver in the distance with a blurry phoenix red top. She knew that could only be one person, as she reached a weary gauntlet up and stretched it out as far as she could, hoping that she had someone on the other side she could latch unto.

Guardian - Bodyguard - Artisan ____________________________________________________
The boy slowly reacted to her presence. His eye lids hung low as if the sandman were claiming him for the evening. Pen looked into his eyes for a moment, a slight grey color. He has red eyes. She thought instinctively remembering her partial blindness to the color red. The boy strained to lift his arm, the slender length of flesh and muscle trembled as he extended his limb; his fingers were mere centimeters from touching against her blood splattered cheek. While he didn't touch her skin, Pen could feel the cold and clammy air of his appendages due to their close proximity. It sent a sudden but minor chill down her spin. Before she could ask him her question once more, she noticed the grey pools of his eyes were overflowing with tears. Then it hit her, sudden and hard like a the warhammer of the [Goblin Scout]. Pen's heightened empathy shot the boy's pain, his fear, his sorrow, his anger, it sent it all through her. She somehow had preoccupied herself with finding Saskia that she hadn't let her empathy set in.
It took a moment to recover from the tsunami of emotions she felt but as the boy spoke he pointed toward the lake she ran past when fighting the [Goblin Scout]. The boy coughed between sentences, his tears still streaming down his cheeks. He said Saskia was in the lake, in her armor. Pen jerked her head to look at the lake just as someone dove into the dark pool. She guess it was another teammate as he was all but nude before he submerged. Quickly following the nude diver was a white stallion; whom Pen recognized immediately as Saskia's steed, Icarus. The warhorse let loos a whinny of alarm and worry as he galloped to the edge of the lake, his hooves stamping against the earth. He tossed his head back and forth as he move about, attempting to spot his rider. When he was unsuccessful his dark eyes fell upon Pen. They locked eyes for a moment, his dark halls were illuminated by the light of her golden flames. Without a sign of understanding or anything Pen stood and deftly removed the latches of her armor and threw it to the ground.
She did this until she was in her undergarments, caring little for modesty. Her pale skin shine brightly against the ambient lighting from the fading sun, her battle scars stood out brazenly against her skin, as if wanting to be noticed. The dark brown cloth undergarments covered her extremities well enough but to those who paid close attention, could see that she was more than a warrior under her armor. With her weight significantly lessened she charged toward the lake and dove, taking an inhale of breath as her hands acted like an ax head and split the water surface for her entry. Pen slid through the water and went a few feet before she opened her eyes. It was difficult to tell how deep they were but a dull glow of orange signified where they were. The guardian wasted no time as she moved through the water, using her legs and arms in tandem to help her glide through the water. If she killed herself getting to them she wouldn't be able to help get her out.
Once close Pen tapped the orange haired man on the shoulder, signifying she was there and moved to get under her friend's arm. Letting Saskia's augmented weight press her to the lake bed, Pen planted her feet flat against he floor and pressed up. Saskia moved but not a significant amount. Armor. She thought as she looked to the orange haired man and gestured to the armor Saskia was wearing. While Pen didn't know where the straps were exactly on this set of armor she knew she would have to find them quick. With a quick glance to the pink haired woman's health bar, Pen went to work locating and undoing the latches of her armor. There were a few spots she was sure the cotton candy haired warrior would have blushed at the thought of someone other than her lover working around. It took longer than Pen wanted but eventually they removed the heavy plate armor and let it touch down on the lake bed.
With Saskia now practically weightless they could get her to safety. Pen glanced once more at Saskia's health bar and saw it was getting dangerously low. Pen realized her friend had lowered her level to party with the two men she was with. With an internal roar Pen grabbed the wolf hair's chin and clamped her mouth over her's. Expelling most of the hair in her lungs Pen watched as the dwindling health bar steadied. It wouldn't do much but it'll give us plenty of time. Pen removed her mouth from Saskia's and motioned to the orange haired man that they were good to go.

They had all ran to rescue Saskia. The woman and Oddy dove into the lake with one single mission remaining, the one to save the woman who was drowning. His blurry vision by both pain and tears didn't allow him to see much of the woman's body before her running towards the water. He faintly smiled shutting his eyelids. They'll manage...He sighed deeply trying to push his body with his arms. He grasped the soil pushing slowly his entire body backwards onto the trunk. He had to at least get in a sitting position. Staying like that would just show how useless and weak he was. He had to get into a better posture. The right part of his body crunched under the process of moving. It made him laugh of pain as he bit his lips to blood. A constant chill had engulfed his body. He felt funny, his ears were ringing a calm song he had heard a long time ago. It was peaceful and the song was in a piano tone. He still had his entire memories untouched and didn't want it to change. He wasn't going to die today nor was anyone else. His left arm raised in the air as dark shroud surrounded his arm slowly as eating it. He started casting [Tainted Charity] upon himself to restore HP. He did so until having less mana then the spell required. It didn't heal him much though. He went from 10% to 25% and was at 5% mana. The injuries he had slowly closed. His crushed bones slowly repaired and went back to their normal spots. His pale face became much more living. A minor headache had appeared and of course fatigue from both the fight, the injuries, but the corruption level he had gained through the entire process of combat and healing. He smiled faintly, grabbed the trunk of the oak tree and pulled himself on to his feet. His clothes were a mess, covered in blood and shredded to little pieces of cloth. Bits of his back skin would show because of the damaged clothes. One could catch a glimpse at his "tatoo" which he had been forced to do between his shoulder blades.. Futhermore the red snake mark which was all over his body would show. He sighed at the view of his clothes. He was naturally slim and therefore his thin muscularity would clearly show. I didn't want people to see this...His black nailed fingers ran through his hair and he shook his head stopping it towards the lake. They hadn't come back from under the water yet. He walked in that direction slowly positioning himself besides the horse. He dropped his right hand on the horses flank, the dark aura evaporating from the boy's body and especially at the zone of touch of his hand and the animal's flank. The horse suddenly went calm and almost didn't move, as if it was petrified by Mitsu's touch. His left thumb jumped over his left finger as he cracked his index and did so with each of his fingers. Blood. His eyes swiftly danced throughout the battlefield checking if no enemies were left. The whole place was calm and silent. Bubbles were coming from the water, he knew they would make it. Jumping it would just endanger them even more in the process. Too much people in a dark lake wasn't something a person would want. It would be impossible to distinguish who was who and they would mostly hinder each and others movements. He patiently waited beside the silent and calm horse. His breath was slowing down and he manage to calm down. His head was pounding, his left hand came in support to his head as to keep it straight. His red eyes stared at the partially calm lake. He remembered of a saying : "Still water runs deep." it made him smile. His friends would return from inside that lake he knew that. Words: 666 Tags : Saskia oddytiudnir Pen Ddraig
