Sunlight shone across the lush green tree tops of the forest, and a gentle breeze stroked the earth. As the trees began their silent dance and the butterflies rode the wind like a surfer at sea, there lie a tree larger than most. In its branches it held many families of squirrels and at its base it housed burrows for rabbits. Critters ran about around this tree, and they were happy to do so. By this tree there seemed an air of tranquility, the perfect place to study the game's workings. There young Zarsyth sat, he had stationed himself on one of the larger roots protruding the ground at the base of the tree. His low pitched laugh could be heard like the bells of a church when a rabbit scurried across his foot, likely on its way home from a long day of running around. Looking down at the rabbit than ran by him he would ask it "Now how do I access the menu that gives me a description of my skills?" The rabbit, not capable of understanding him, twitched its little fluff ball of a tail and ran away. In any case, he surely could solve this on his own.
During the process of figuring out the interface, Zarsyth would happen upon the crafting menu. 'Crafting, how interesting. I'll have to sit down sometime and make something.' After a little playing around, and the accessing of many interfaces he finally found the skills interface. "Psychic Conductor. I can lift an object within ten meters and use it as a weapon?" He read aloud. This would not be as easy to catch onto as he thought it would, that was for certain. Pondering the use of this skill, the endless potential uses for this started to play out in his mind. Now he began to understand why he took this skill. "The maximum weight able to be lifted is equal to ten times my level. That will scale very well as I gain experience." Closing out the interface, he returned his attention to the crafting section. 'As a Scribe, I can study documents and write contracts, interesting.' As thoughts came to his head, he resolved to craft later in the day. It now was the time to practice. Zarsyth stood from his seated position and stretching, he bends down low to the ground. Retrieving his staff from the soft soil, a rock could be spotted just off to the side. This was his chance, something light to practice the ability on. Closing his eyes and imagining that his staff was his hand, he would picture elongating and turning from wood to flesh. In his mind, his staff became an arm and grabbed the rock. In reality, he was using magic to levitate the pebble about half a meter from the ground. Then he pulled back slightly on the staff and the pebble inched its way closer to him. Pulling back a bit harder caused the rock to move to his side where he would set it down. Considering this a momentous achievement, the young sorcerer jumped in exaltation. Nothing could possibly have made his day more than this. WC - 529

Sun shines on the Windsor Greatwood spreading across the green tree tops of the forest while the gentle morning breeze playis with the leaves creating a mysterious atmosphere. Birds were flying around singing their songs. I walk through the greatwood without a single noice or a trace of my presence. The skill of my tracker subclass silent move slowed me down but thanks to it I was walking through the greatwood soundlessly. I look upwards seeing the sky partialy hidden behind the green leaves. Through it sometimes a beacon of light shines through. "Ceiling made of leaves and gems." I mumble to myself silently while looking on it with my calm, low voice. Suddenly I see a larger tree. It was standing above the other trees in this location as a fortress hidden in bark armor and leaves. I climb on a tree easily and walk over to the end of the branch jumping on another tree. In this style I manage to get through the forrest easily making my way to the bigger tree. "Hiden Entry" I mumble as I alter the light around me making myself invisible. As I reach the base of the large tree. From the treetop of another one I see a young fox tail in a heavily decorated starter robe. He had dark brown hair and he looked quite inteligent. He was sitting between the roots of the large tree. He looked at a rabbit and talked to it. Right after it it twiched its little fluff bal of a tail and ran away. It seemed that he was observing something in his menu. He is probably new to Elder Tales... I think as I observe him. He starts to talk about his skills which gives me an idea about his class. Probably a sorcerer... He continued to check his skills. He standed up from his position grabbing his staff from the soil. He looked on a rock off to the side. He closed his eyes and then the rock started to levitate about a half meter from the ground. Then it floated to him and there he set it down. I smile lightly and remember my first steps in this world too. I adjust my equipment, light chainmail armor and leather japanese style clothing consisting of mostly black, dark gray and red. Sneaking on the tree above him slowly and then I get behind him with a silent jump. I end the buff and appear behind him playing with a lock of my hair with one hand covered in darkgray bandages instead of a glove the other hand resting on the grip of a katana. "I hope I don't disturb you during your training Sorcerer-dono." I say with a light smile. "I couldn't help it but come there and take a closer look." I look on his reaction. I bow lightly. "I'm sorry that I didn't introduce myself. My name is Awatsuki Shizuri. I was training in the forrest too and I didn't mean to offend you in any way." I say to introduce myself and my fox ears twich lightly. [Words: 518] [Tagged: Zarsyth]

"Offend me? How? By dropping in to say hello? I should think otherwise." Zarsyth would state, leaning against the tree and resting his staff on its trunk as well. Her sudden appearance had at the very least surprised him. Surprises are not his forte and it probably showed as he had jumped when she appeared. He would have to work on that. After a brief period of looking her over, his eyes fell upon the two katanas in their respective hilts at either side of her waist. "Two? I thought that Assassins were not proficient at wielding more than one weapon, am I mistaken?" It was without difficulty that he discovered her class. A quick glance at the interface was all he needed. The fox-tail woman before him must be a tracker, otherwise he would have heard her approaching. Yes, that was certain. That leaves one big detail that he lacks the knowledge of. Her crafting class remains a mystery to him, possibly a good way to keep the conversation rolling. Not that he was good at that, some thoughts and question just happen to enter his mind from time to time. Whether or not to ask her was the real question. This fox-tail lost track of his thoughts for a moment as the breeze was flowing through the assassin's hair in such a way that nearly put him into a trance. 'She certainly holds beauty to her.' The thought came to him expectantly. He nearly slapped himself over it. The thought of having shown such emotion on his face brought horror into his mind. This female appeared to be someone that would kick his rear end in if she saw a look like that.
Deciding to ignore the incident all together, Zarsyth bows in response to her own. "I am Zarsyth though you may call me as you wish. I am a level one sorcerer with the sub-classes of scribe and scholar. Both are also at level one." That should suffice in keeping the conversation going. This statement was for a purpose as she had introduced herself to him. It felt right to him to introduce himself to her. 'Please do not comment on my voice for I know it is low. If you should decide to, it would be the twentieth comment this week. I think that I would have to give you a prize if you did for making this tally such an even number.' If only he could get away with such utterance. Poor kid, could not even get through a week of classes without hearing the questions repeatedly throughout the day. The questions of whether or not his voice was actually that low or if he was faking it. If he was actually nineteen or had been held back for twenty years. After a while he got sick of it. The few people in the world who understood was his best friend and his grandfather. The latter of the two had as low if not an even lower pitched speaking voice than his grandson. "So do indulge me. Why did you feel the need to speak to me? I am nothing more than a new player sitting by a tree. Surely anybody else would have wanted nothing to do with me. I am of no importance to even the rabbits that inhabit this tree. I have not a position of power nor that of wealth. So might I restate my inquiry, of what interest do you hold of me?" This was a question that troubled him. It frightened him to think of all the possible responses to that question. Zarsyth decided that it would be best to leave the conversation there and wait politely for a response from this beautiful, young maiden of shadows. Especially since he had nothing more to speak of for the time being. No further thoughts entered his head nor questions that laid weight to his heart. As if he had any of those yet. He had only just met this woman. Perhaps there was more he could have spoken of, and then again perhaps not. In the end, it matters not. There he remain with a smile on his lonely face. So he stood in silence. He was without a doubt anxious out of curiosity as she certainly would grace him with a response.

"I'm just saying that to calm you down. Some would attack me after my sudden apearance." I smile on you as you turn around as I suprised you. I notice you that you observe me. For a while you look on me and stop your gaze on the two sheats with my blades on my side. "No, you're not mistaken. They aren't proficient at wielding more than one weapon. I usually use only one because of the system limitations. I'm used to using two weapons from the real world. It gives me also the advantage when I need it. Also... Did you notice the fact that my silent arival was the only sign of my class?" I smile on you as I finish my explanation. Then the breeze came flowing through my hair. I look on you as you stand confused there. "Umm? Did I offend you somehow?" I ask quickly.
Even after then I keep looking on your expression. It seems that you have many unspoken questions and theories about my appearance. "I am Zarsyth though you may call me as you wish." I hear you introduce yourself. You tell me also your classes and subclasses right after that. I bow lightly. "I will introduce myself too then. My name is Awatsuki Shizuri. Assassin. Sub-classes Tracker and Blacksmith." I introduce myself after you done the same and poke the chainmail armor on my body. "Being blacksmith allows me to wear heavier armor." I explain my move and the armor I'm wearing.
"Hmm... Why did I aproach you. Well... I heard your quite interesting voice while walking through the greatwood area and I decided to aproach you. I don't care about class or level. New or skilled. Seriously level one character with enough experience from real life could defeat even a high-level oponent. In a way I'm the same. My level is one in every class and subclass, I don't have power of whealth and my appearance in this world was more like an accident than my intention. My interest..." I explain your question. Just in the end I stop for a while looking as if I try to confirm my intention. "Well... I don't know. I felt like doing it and I had a feeling you could use a bit of help to look around." I look on our surroundings. "What about walking around a bit and train together for a while? I'm sure that it would help both of us. I just have to apologise for not having any experience with working as a team." I suggest a simple plan which I see as the best possibility. Maybe I will get my teamwork to a higher level thank's to him. "Let's work together, Zarsyth-san." I say as I smile lightly and make few steps in the dirrection of the forest.

Fox-Tail Sorcerer ~ Scribe ~ Scholar _____________________________________________
Zarsyth listened politely to her and followed his silence with a simple statement. "You need not introduce yourself to me, Awatsuki. The interface has told me all I need to know." Following this statement he would a hand on her shoulder even if only for a moment. "I should like to get to know you better sometime. For now, I believe I should tell you a little bit about myself before we begin. I am nineteen years of age and discovered this game through a friend of mine. He had turned eighteen today and thought that we should celebrate it by performing a task that we would normally not. In this case it was playing an online game." A little smile appeared from the corners of his mouth. He was satisfied with his explanation of discovery. Now, the thought of training with her was a mildly pleasant one. Of course he would train with her. The question itself almost caused him to erupt with laughter on the inside. Removing his hand from her shoulder, he had decided it was best not keep it upon her for too long. He figured it would have seemed creepy if he kept it there for any longer. About the two weapons he thought. The girl before him practiced with swords outside of this virtual reality? How intriguing! It was one thing to wish to know how to use a sword or to claim to know how. It made sense, that she would take a start that was familiar to her.
If her choice of starting weaponry and her reasoning behind it told him anything about her it had to have been that she was smart. It showed brightly to him that she knew her way around the game as she snuck up on him with a good amount of skill. Even if it was on the effect of the tracker sub-class. No leaves dropped nor did they crunch or the ground distort about him. That was impressive to him. Knowing that he had the honor of honing his skills with someone of his level that already knew the game better than he did. There were questions on his mind about her though it took some thought to muster them back up. In fact the more he thought about the questions he wished to ask the less likely it was that he was going to recall them. What a shame. It may have been to his advantage to ask those questions just a few moments sooner. Yes, that was it. He needed to ask questions when they came to his mind so that he might not forget. That is not the easiest endeavor as he found talking to those he knew with significantly less difficulty than he found talking to this stranger woman. Nevertheless he found the need to continue onward with this engagement as sitting around thinking about pointless questions would get him nowhere.
Zarsyth would bow his head ever slightly as a sign of acknowledgement of her request. Teamwork was something he was familiar with even if he found it a futile effort to talk to people. Most likely this was her way of desiring to get to know him was all he could figure. "Yes I think I shall train with you. It benefits the both of us mutually and has no penalty to it. Certainly a worthwhile endeavor. Now, where are we to go to hone our skills? I also believe that I would be able to tell you a thing or two about teamwork along the way. Come now." He ordered with a slight command of authority to his voice. That reminded him that she had mentioned of finding his own voice interesting. Zarsyth initiated a walk of slow pace, that equal to roughly three times the speed of a turtle on land. The walk was merely to add a more relaxed atmosphere to their talking as well as to merit some discovery of monster for them to slay. This felt as though it was just the beginning of a long term partnership between magic and blade. "You said you found my voice interesting. How so?" That was a reasonable conversation starter for the journey. After all, they were walking away from the comfort and safety of the tree. All that remained was for her beautiful lips to begin to make various formations to shape the words her tongue would muster. He longed to hear more of her voice for it soothed him. This was his desire. This feeling he felt towards her some would call love while the young fox-tail would call it a longing to hear another voice again. It was not often that he was allowed to speak with someone to openly. For now, he must wait his turn.
