A basic magitech device by Tessia. It can be attached to a person's clothing or armor in order to create a force field barrier made from psyche. The force field is seen only when anything impacts the character's body with decent force. It is equipped as an accessory and only one can be equipped at a time. When a Mana Liner Shield is equipped and the character is damaged, it will increase the apparent level of the character's armor by an amount equal to the Mana Liner Shield's item level / 10. Note that although this defense is fairly decent, once initiated it will only last for a short time. After the character is struck by any attack, Mana Liner Shield will activate and last for a number of turns equal to its item level / 10 (min duration: 1 post) before turning off for the rest of the thread.
