bittersweet. The problem with this place was she had no idea where she was going at all. Perhaps it would have been smarter for her to study the region before she decided to join the server. That was Luiniel for you though, always in a rush. The tiny samurai had very little patience for those who had to think twice before they acted. She was a very fast moving person who prefered to think on her feet; ask forgiveness instead of permission. That was probably why she was logging in alone when she got stuck in this world.
It was awfully lonely being trapped here by yourself, even when you had guildmates. Sure they were quite active in the world now and organized more than she could have hoped but that didn't kill that lonely feeling. She missed her friends from the Yamato server and the few friends she had back on the other side. Had they too decided to make the switch and got stuck in here with her? How would she find them? All of these questions sort of ate away at the tiny samurai.
Kicking a stone out of her path she exhaled a rather deep sigh. It was all the same, new adventurers lining the streets talking in reverant tones or cowering in fear. No one stopped to say hello, no one treated each other like they were actually stuck in this world. Luckily she had yet to encounter any trolls or PKers but she was sure that this world would not be spared their foolishness. There were far too many people who played simply to mock those who chose to spend their time here.
"Nice work. Signing on instead of doing your classwork. Avoiding responsibility is usually how we end up in these bad situations." she said to herself. A few people gave her that glance as if she was odd for speaking to herself but she did not mind at all. She most likely was just that; an odd ball. Who purposely mad an avatar that matched their true physical self. She could have been anything in this world- tall, busty or gorgeous. Instead she was small, flat chested, and probably going to forever be refered to as cute.
"At least no one in the guild has decided to use my head as an arm rest or pat me." she muttered to herself. Just then she noticed that a lot of people were gathering around some lander stalls and shouting rather loudly. Her ears twitched as the tiny fox waddled on over, her four tails flowing behind her gracefully. 'What's going on?' she thought to herself as she didn't have to wait that long to find the source of the noise.
Four adventurers had a lander encircled and seemed to be trying to bully him about his prices. This sort of behavior caused her to puff up her cheeks in anger, her skin turned a light shade of red. If only she could draw her swords here in town; but the last person she saw try it got rekt by the royal guards. Unfortunately for the landers they could easily be pushed around by this new race of demi gods.
"Leave him alone! If you don't like his prices, don't buy. If I have to ask again I'll make sure you're camped every time you try to leave the city.." she threatened with a wag of her finger. Unfortunately for her she was not that threatening and so the four adventurers just laughed in her face. "Right. I bet a shrimp like you could take the four of us on. Why don't you run along back to daycare." they taunted as they turned their back on her again.
That was the final straw. If she was not stopped she would draw her swords and try to kill just one of them before the guards could break up the fight. |

“1... 2, 1...2, 1...2” the werecat was saying to himself as he jogged at his medium pace throwing punches out as he counted, Spade was in the middle of doing his daily exercises. This was a common sight in the world he came from so the adventurers did not give him a second look, but the landers were different people, they could not grasp the concept of why this werecat was even running in the middle of the city and throwing punches; some were even worried that he may accidently strike and kill somebody due to his class as a fist fighter. Not used to the world and the fact that he can’t get any physically stronger or weaker due to the effects from his enemy he continued to jog and punch the air. He lost himself in his daily routine this day because of his late night activities, this resulted in Spade over doing his usual route and going straight to the market district instead of the housing area. Spade almost ran in to a lander’s kid by the time his mind caught up to the rest of his brain, he stopped by applying pressure to the fronts of his feet, in most cases he would have stopped but that’s if he had normal feet in the first place. His new smaller feet caused his to not be used to his sense of balance causing him to avoid the boy but fall flat on his face right in to the shop of a vegetable vendor. After a quick sorry and helping him clean up the mess Spade mood was went to it’s usual point of blinding rage, he knew he had no reason to be mad but it was his way of coping with things he did not know how to deal with. His emotions leaked over to his surroundings causing the kid to cry and the vendor to grab the child in a hurry and moved both himself an the child out of the adventurers direct path. Spade was at his full thinking capacity but his mind’s state, once again, did not reflect in his body language as the only thing he was putting out was his anger at a kid being in his way, to avoid further complications Spade took the straight path laid out in front of his and walked quickly out of his current situation before it got worse. While on his walk he saw what appeared to be a small child being looked down upon by a group of adventurer. Spade was in no mood to be playing the anti hero so he turned his head to continue walking, he did a double take when in his HUD he was made aware that this was someone from the same guild as himself. Taking a closer look he’s never seen anyone in this little scuttle before so stopped his path and walked over to the group of players. In his experience from his past life he knew that appearances must be kept at all times, he cannot allow a single member look weak at any point and he will do anything in his power to prevent any situation from occurring. He approached the larger group since they seemed to be comfortable in their insignificant group and he began to actively reflect his mood, this got the attention of one of the members and he turned and stared at Spade’s chest in confusion not realizing that he would have to look up to see the large werecat. His face turned from annoyance to fear along with a whimper as Spade’s visage made them think he was going to torture or kill them, their friends sudden noise and mood change caught their attention and the other three members turned their heads to Spade chest and then up to his very angry face, only once of them thing they still had an overwhelming advantage his face was still mocking him and his new guild mate. To set an example Spade punched his left fist into his right and turned on his Iron Body ability, his skin instantly turned metallic slightly reflecting the light from the sun, but his eyes still had his furious look on his face along with his emerald eyes now strangely becoming more prominent, to get his point across he said in a angry tone, “I don’t know what’s going on here but that little girl right there is one of mine, if you think you can gang up on her then we;re going to have some problems. Now I don’t mind soling them mind you, it doesn't matter to me how many times I have go to the cathedral but know that if you want to continue down this road I WILL make your life a living hell if you don’t back off!” the warning coming from his metallic lips. As he was saying this three orbs of light began to swirl around his person as a warning about the guards but this only served to make Spade even angrier since he was not the most tolerant person of authority. He directed his words to the only one of the group that did not have a look of fear upon his face, hoping that if his words got through to this simpleton then they will rot in the other player’s heads as long as they share this game with himself. | Stars Can't,
Shine without darkness.
Awatsuki was walking through the city in her new vanity clothing and disguised using her [Form Shift] spell to hide her real appearance. Walking through the city in her uniform, which was pretty well designed. The outfit was mostly made of leather and this model colors were mostly brown pink towards crimson red with a tint of pink. She was wearing a shirt under the small upper chest jacket was a simple white shirt with thin vertical lines which were numbered up to 4. The collar of her shirt had a pretty much unique form as it wasn't folded. From the waist to the lower ribs a leather corset following with finesse the shape of a woman's body. The upper part of the body from just under the bodice to the shoulders, there was a jacket which both part were linked but a silver clip composed of white and blue, the pattern of Vylbrand Academy. On the collar of the jacked there was a strange emblem and on the other side there was the number 13. The length of the sleeves was short and stopped at the middle of the arm before the elbow. The leather jacket had two pockets on each side and a line of crimson red on the inside of both sides with a zigzag motif. She was wearing a skirt too. The folded short skirt was sometimes reacting to the light morning breeze but always hiding everything that should be hidden. She was wearing black and red tights too to protect her legs from the breeze, not that it was neccesary since Awatsuki's endurance was enough to handle that. She was wearing heavy leather boots with few red protective plates and leather gloves too. Also on her knees there were two smaller plates. Over her shoulder there was a rifle hanging on a leather strap. the [Sarum Progressive Rifle] was made of wood and steel looking like a dangerous weapon to everyone that saw it. Thanks to the [Form Shift] Awatsuki was a bit higher than normally, her black hair changed into red/white long hair tied in an unique hairstyle with a black ribbon in her hair.
After a while she saw a group of adventurers surrounding a lander. Since she wasn't used to using [Form Shift] yet the spell caused her fox ears, which changed to white fur with red tips too, to appear and twich when she saw that. Her tail started swinging from side to side furiously as she walked over to them. A small fox tail walked towards them to stop them, her cheeks puffed up in anger, her skin changing into light shade of red.
"Leave him alone! If you don't like his prices, don't buy. If I have to ask again I'll make sure you're camped every time you try to leave the city.." Awatsuki saw the girl speak on them. She smiled lightly as she aproached them from the other side. "Right. I bet a shrimp like you could take the four of us on. Why don't you run along back to daycare." they taunted as they turned their back on her again. Awatsuki's ear twiched again as she clenched her fists in rage. Now a large werecat started to aproach the group, using a monk skill turning metalic suddenly reflecting the light partially. He raised his voice and started speaking in an angry tone pointing across towards the offender. “I don’t know what’s going on here but that little girl right there is one of mine, if you think you can gang up on her then we;re going to have some problems. Now I don’t mind soling them mind you, it doesn't matter to me how many times I have go to the cathedral but know that if you want to continue down this road I WILL make your life a living hell if you don’t back off!” he warned them the sound comming out of his metalic lips.
By that time Awatsuki appeared the last one which didnt shiwer in fear. "You made it now..." She mumbled darkly as she punched the man in the face maybe even breaking his nose. He fell to the ground turning around just to see her violent smile and look. Awatsuki grabbed her rifle quickly pressing the gun barrel against his face. "If you will aproach my guild members one more time like this I'm going to tear you from limb to limb and make you look on the collor of your own insides. The advanturer standed up the whole group running away in fear. Awatsuki smiled nicely now sliding her rifle to her back again. "Alright." She walked over to the fox tail and pet her enjoying that she's higher thanks to her spell for a while, her body size still quite small and having despite the changed hair still looking the same. "Thanks for helping that Lander. I hate that kind of people." She growls lightly as she sends a quick glance that promises a great amount of pain towards those running agressors. "Anyways..." She says as she checks the two guild members. "I see that you two are from Vylbrand academy too. Let me introduce myself. My name is Awatsuki Shizuri. I'm glad to meet you two." She bowed slightly and smiled on them.

bittersweet. Run back to daycare?
They made a jab at her size?! Her hands shot down to her katana before she realized what she was doing but she was stopped by the sounds of those surrounding them. As the people around the adventurers gasped the world would suddenly regain it's color once more. It was a bad thing to make her so angry- everything became red and as the gamer saying went "If it's red it's dead" she definitely made good on it. Her hand shook as she drew a deep breath trying to steady herself, this was so much different than simply watching from above. When she was the overmind the avatar had no feelings but now she had to consider that every action came with some sort of physical consequence. In this case she assumed the guards would have come and cleaned the lot of them out of here. At least she hoped they would have considering these four adventurers picking on someone who was helpless to fight back in the face of such strength. Once more she felt useless in this world as she could not even control herself, how was she suppose to take control of a situation like this? There was so much that Anshi as a person had to work on and through being Luiniel in this world she hoped that she could resolve her issues from the other world. If she couldn't then she would never fit in anywhere, she would always be a loner.
Just as she took a step forward someone else moved out of the crowd to assist; thank the gods. He was rather large and terrifying as she had yet to encounter a werecat in this game just yet. Even she seemed quite intimidated by him as tall people made her feel somewhat uneasy when they were standing. She looked between him and the group of guys that were harassing the vendor and could easily tell that it was working. Even they didn't want to mess with him now that it seemed like they were getting a response from a guild on the server. They were an isolated group and there was nothing they could do should the might of a guild decide to come down upon the four of them. It was evident from their expressions that they were weighing the option of trying to attack them as if they had no idea what the royal guards might do. Three of them seemed to have gotten the message and looked as if they were ready to depart but one of them stood brave in the face of this retaliation and refused to flinch.
That was until someone appeared almost out of nowhere and punched him in the mouth. The leader of these little thugs crumpled like a sack of potatoes to the ground for a moment clutching his face as the pain washed over him. That was it for the little bandits as the other three let out a yelp and basically shot off without even trying to collect their leader from the ground. In his moment of shame he was left to crawl away from the mess but only after a gun barell was shoved into his face as a warning. After all of this she was sure that the four of them would never try this again; at least not in this city that was for certain. Still she wondered if people were doing things like this all over the world now that they were immortal for all intents and purposes. The problems their kind would cause could be astronomical and someone had to consider going around and policing them when the royal guards could not reign them in. There were most likely similiar incidents like this going on all over and they would never be able to be everywhere at once. It was up to them to make this a better place for all of the people including the landers.
Climbing to his feet, the feeble old lander made his way towards his saviors with a polite smile on his lips. "Thank you kind adventurers. I have never seen such immorale acts in this city, a sign of the times I guess." he muttered as he collected his things. With one final wave to them he took off down the road, avoiding the direction those who harassed him had run off to. It was then that Luiniel became aware that someone was talking to her or even that someone was petting her. Her face twitched in anger as he cheeks puffed out with her chest, she had always had a temper when attention was brought to her size. Even the werecat had called her a little girl which only succeeded in causing her temper to boil over the pot here. "I am not some house cat. Everyone gets one warning." she muttered with an annoyed tone before she decided enough was enough. After that her expression just suddenly shifted, as if she was a crazy person, to that of someone who was calm. "Thanks for the asssistance! I could not have handled them all by myself. I made them a promise I could never keep alone." she said with a giggle.
Her eyes roamed from the person with the rifle to the werecat once more. She had never seen them before this day but she could see by the UI menu that they were from the academy. It was a relief that someone from her own guild had bothered to step in. Maybe she was not as alone as she originally thought she was in this world; complete strangers who bothered to help one another. "No one deserves what they were doing to him. No thanks required." she replied in a cool tone as she brushed off the encounter and made it seem like less of a big deal than it was. Lulu believed that she should never be rewarded for doing what was right because no one should ever come to expect to recieve something for doing it. Those of weaker character were often corrupted by material objects and praise when they did a good deed. After that the assassin introduced herself, she was from the academy as Lulu saw, and her name was Awatsuki. 'Japanese perhaps, like myself.' she thought as she tilted her head. There weren't many of them from what she had experienced so far so it was sort of nice to run into another potentially from the Yamato server.
Bowing in return she put on her usual grin, "I am Luiniel." she replied. It was rather simple and short but she was never very good at this part in the real world. In the real world she had no friends or no one to practice such mannerisms with. She had her computer and her online games and that was the way it had always been. "So you're from the Yamato server as well then? Your name leads me to believe it to be so but then again a lot of people use japanese names in other servers." she said with a chuckle. Her mood was beginning to lighten and so she would also smile at the Werecat and wave. "..and you are?" she asked making sure to include everyone present in the exchange. She hated to make people feel as if they had to find their own opening into the conversation. |

| DON'T GET IN MY WAY! Spade’s mood not helping his patience he knew that if he got in to a fight in the city he would be killed without remorse by the beings of light inside these balls of light floating around his person. He then began to scan for the first person that he can take out before he is killed, the shriveling person on his right seemed like the perfect target since he was wearing armor made of the same material as the monk but the difference was the coward had a dagger at his waist, he knew that he was one those classes that could not stand ti fight Spade in a full frontal attack all of a sudden so his eyes turned from the fearless player over to the cowering one. He gathered up power in his right hand preparing to strike in a vital area when in the corner of his eye he saw a girl with pink hair appear behind the fearless one and mumble something, instantly she struck the man right in the center of his face. He got knocked right on his behind maybe from being surprised or just simply cause the girl was stronger than she looked, Spade didn’t know if it was a blessing or a curse either but the guards only seemed to pay attention the the werecat as there was no reaction from either of the three floating orbs. The trio of cowards were in complete shock from the sudden appearance and even more the action committed by the pink haired girl, the man on his behind looked up in ferocity and as soon as she appeared she drew a gun and pointed in his face with his threat. Spade whistled in admiration from her decisive action, this was something at his level of action. The group picked up their scared and injured comrade and ran away in fear. Spade was relieved that he did not get in trouble but he was also slightly annoyed that someone else got to break the law but he was held under tight supervisions once more, either way their problems were solved and the small child that was in his guild helped up and old man, the only reason she almost got jumped was because she wanted to play hero! Spade knew the positives from having a good standing but he was still greatly annoyed she decided to help out someone that is just going to get more trouble when they left. Spade was watching the scene unfold and he thought he heard the little girl say something while looking about as annoyed as Spade is on a regular day, he didn’t hear her clearly so it must have been directed towards herself or some other source so he payed it no mind. She thanked Spade and the other girl as she said that she would have a hard timekeeping a promise, he really didn’t care about keeping her principle he cared more about why she almost costed the guild any sort of reputation. Spade’s guild mate talked about the lander not deserving what he got but he knew that if constant protection is not applied they’ll just come back for greater revenge, while he was thinking of the old man he snapped back to attention in time for the small girl to say something about a server he’s never heard before. He gave up knowing what would go on and resided to zone out and recount his past event, a few seconds later and before he could lose focus entirely he was able to pick up on the girl asking for his name. He was not the best at being friendly and he knew it would take up a good amount of his time to do so, “Spade” was all he said wanting to leave it at that. Word Count:[642] Tags: Luiniel, Awatsuki |
