Requirements for Shire Horse Mount Whistle: Level 21 Blacksmith
Requirements for Other Domesticated Animal Mount Whistle: Level 11 Animal Trainer, Level 21 Blacksmith
A recipe created by the blacksmith Caerbannog based on the mount whistles of woodcrafters, it is a metal whistle that can call forth a domesticated terrestrial mount, commonly a shire horse or pony. Blacksmiths with animal trainer experience may be able to train mounts that will respond to their crafted whistle. Only domesticated animals (e.g. farm animals, shire horses) or wild creatures with naturally Friendly or Docile nature (e.g. young pittered boar, briar weasel) can be used as mounts. Bonuses from skills, abilities or items do not influence a creature’s qualification to be used as amount.
The mount’s summon time will only last a short while and the mount whistle has a very long cooldown. Mounts summoned this way have very little HP and will dismount their rider and run at the first sign of danger. Higher level blacksmiths can increase the active summon time and reduce cooldown. Cavalier personal mounts are unaffected by this item. Only one mount may be summoned at a time using this or similar items. The blacksmith that crafts this item may change the description but the effect must be retained.

Call for Sheep: Level 90 Mount Whistle (Metal). The first metal whistle that Caerbannog ever crafted, it was only ever able to attract young mounts due to its annoyingly high-pitched sound. This whistle summons a young cream-colored alpaca named Sheep that is eager to act as a transport for Caerbannog and in between Points A and B, it is inclined to chew on her skirt or to lick her thighs.
