Ashtver's Beginner gear really was starting to get old. He crafted some better equipment as temporary upgrades. The Spear has a head shaped like two parallel waves. When held in the sun, the sharp edge seems red. The shaft is around a meter long. This is required if he is to dual wield his spears. In the center of the shaft, there's a dip in the metal, used as a handle. The bottom of the shaft is thinned, and has a circular guard forged onto it. The pommel is shaped like a pointy diamond, to theoretically maximize the damage of the Swashbuckler ability Discard. During forging, the metal cracked a few times as it was smacked. This allowed the ashes of the forge to enter the the weapon and meld with the metal.
