| Notes feel free to approach Rihn :) Word Count 515 Tags... Have you ever been to the sea? Because our Druid here hasn't, this was Rihn's first time seeing the vast expanses of water called oceans. She had read about their majesty and beauty in books even some had pictures, but none did the real thing justice. The blue water sparkling in the warm rays of the sun, the smell of the salt water was oddly enjoyable, the sound of the tide coming or going and lastly the Snow White birds. Rihn didn't know what the little creatures were called but even they were pleasant. Everything about the ocean was just pleasant, no wonder the Adventures like to go to the ocean to relax. Now your probably wondering what our Druid is doing here so far from a forest right? Well that's simple, Rihn wanted a boat, she wanted to buy one and head to an island off the coast. You see, Rihn had never had a coconut before, she wanted to try one but not just any coconut. She was told by an adventure that a island off the coast has a abundance of coconuts and they just so happen to be the best in the realm. Of course our gullible Druid paid the man for this information, after all she didn't have much gold to begin with. But her desire won out against her logic so she went along.
Rihn was standing in the middle of town, a town built on the rivers edge near the ocean. The town was built to sell boats and other sea and water merchandise, a town mostly living off the ocean. The market was small with only a few shops, a single blacksmiths shop, a small warden barracks and other small huts where shops were setup or where people lived. Walking through the streets Rihn was rather optimistic about her objective for today, Buy a small boat, sail out to the island and get her coconut, simple right? Well we'll see.
Coming upon a shop with "Boats" on the front Rihn heads inside. The front of the shop is rather boring, but simple is nice too. Just enough to express what it sells and that's it. After a few moments of quiet yelling could be heard from inside the shop, not Rihn a mans voice yelling about how much work goes into making these boats. Then a short moment of quiet later more yelling about no tabs and then no I won't let you borrow one. Exiting the shop Rihn's coin purse in hand the Druid lets out a defeated sigh. She was so excited about this adventure and now it doesn't look like it'll come to fruition. Walking over to a bench Rihn sits down her shoulders hunched forward as she looks down at her small coin purse. Untying the top the Druid slowly counts out her gold, three hundred gold pieces. Sighing she pours them back in and closed her eyes. "How do the adventures manage to afford this kind of stuff?" she asks herself as she sits on her bench wonder what to do next. Code by Neun of ET. "Now where am I?" Steel thought to himself as he walked around the area. As usual, he decided to go hunting today, fighting monsters to gain experience. He didn't really have many friends nor did he have anything else scheduled usually so this is now he would normally spend his day. Thanks to his diligence of going into the wild where monsters were as well as perhaps his experience in combat from the real world and knowledge of the game, Steel had leveled up quickly. Just last week or so, he was a mere level 5. Now, he was already a level 32 player. He still wasn't as strong as how he was when he was the Assassin Tetsu, his level 90 avatar from his days on the Japanese server, but he has become a lot more stronger than how he started. Back to the person in question, while fighting more monsters, he had gotten lost from the path like usual. Despite the fact he was a scribe and he kept his map up to date, while alone, he typically let his instincts lead him wherever. This time, it led him to the coastal side of the land. "This place seems nice." Steel said to himself after seeing the beach. In Japan, he's been to the beach multiple times but this would be the first time he's been to an England Beach. "It feels a bit empty though." Probably due to the season, the beach was practically void of people, Adventurers and People of the Land alike. He didn't even see any monsters in the area. Steel then checked the area and found that at least the area nearby the shop that sold boats and the docks was a safe zone which meant it made sense that there'd be no monsters. Still, it felt empty around here. Soon after that, he heard a noise. Rather, it sounded more like yelling and it was coming from the shop. Out of reflex, he hid out of sight. The reason for this reflex was his ADD as well as the fact that he was bullied a lot in the past causing him to have a habit of hiding whenever he heard angry yelling like that. Another reason why he hid was that he was curious as to what was going on. He completely forgot though that nowadays, he had a really low presence and there was therefore no need to hide. Soon after the yelling stopped, a girl came out the door, looking dejected. In Steel's mind though, through instinct, he figured that she was older than her height would make people think. It was just a feeling he got. She looked really sad. Steel then began to analyze what happened. After some thinking, he concluded that the woman who just dejectedly left the boat shop couldn't buy a boat for whatever she was planning to do. He decided to go over and comfort her and perhaps help her complete her goal. Steel walked over to the girl who was a bit too sad to notice him along with the fact he had a low presence. He decided to look at the status screen and saw that she was a Person of the Land, not that it mattered to him as he approached her. "Hey, you okay?" Steel said with a gentle and friendly smile. While he did this, romantic sparkles came from him. When Steel noticed, he panicked. Crap, that stupid thing activated again and it should affect her even more since she's a Person of the Land! Steel thought to himself about his Courtesan skill which often activated on it's own sometimes as if it were a running gag. Steel hurriedly turned it off. "I'm so sorry about that, this stupid skill activates on it's own." He said in apology. Words: 639 Rihn Autumnfall

| Notes words Word Count Numbers Rihn's hopes and dreams shattered, or at least the most immediate ones, by the shop keeper who refused to allow the Druid to acquire a boat. So she sat on her bench wondering what other possibilities there were for her to gain transportation to this island. Nothing came to mind that Rihn already hasn't tried and she doesn't want to get yelled at again. Rihn had received the information about an island off the coast that had the best coconuts in the world. A wonderful adventure that would look a bit sketchy to anyone that isn't Rihn. She even paid the adventure for the information, but to Rihn it's the price of going on a good adventure. Plus trying the best of something she had never had before is a bonus. But not all hope is lost, there has to be another way Rihn just had to find it. Maybe stowaway on a boat that will travel near the island and then swim? No, sharks would obviously be guarding the island from trespassers this was really starting to become one of those adventures Rihn has read about in her story books, or in her head at least. Or maybe a dashing adventurer would come to save her, the giant overly muscular kind with a whole boat resting on his shoulder, Rihn's imagination is a strange place.
Hearing someone speak to her, Rihn looks up just in time to see the effects of Steels Allure skill. Rihn felt an aura of everything beautiful about the world from him, the wind singing their songs through the tree tops or the sea caressing the sandy beach. "Where's the boat..." Rihn muttered looking at Steel in a daze then snaps out of the hypnotizing effect. Coughing Rihn blushes and gives steel a smile "Sorry... I was hoping to buy a boat so I can travel to an island, but well... I'm sure you heard why." the Druid says finishing with a sigh. But like any good quest npc, Rihn would have to provide plenty of quest text for the adventure to just skip over and follow the way mark. Great thing is, they can't skip it now. "I was told by this wonderful adventure about an island not to far off the coast that had a tree. A golden palm tree that grows the best coconuts in the world, he even gave me a map. I've never had a coconut before and it sounds like a fun adventure, but well I'm kind of stuck." what comes next should be obvious for any MMO player, accept the quest and help the Druid on her adventure or decline and leave her to her own devices. But things were a little tricky now, the quest npcs seem just as real now, so it's more like helping a person in need more than just your typical boring escort quest. The pair had a couple options, rent transportation out to the island and then stick around until their ride comes back or the more unorthodox way and just buy a boat. "I'm sorry, I don't know why I'm telling you this, my name is Rihn." the Druid concludes giving Steel a cute smile as she awaits a reply. Code by Neun of ET. Artwork from Alchemical Meister. |

Yeah, I’ve really got to make sure this stupid skill of mine stays off. Steel thought to himself as a small sigh came from his mouth when he saw how the Courtesan subclass skill which usually acted like a running gag from a cartoon, affected the girl in front of him. In general, he didn’t like the concept of controlling the emotions of other people, even if it was only temporary. He did find it weird when she started saying ‘Where’s the boat…’ but he assumed it was just because her brain wasn’t completely working right because of the skill. Thankfully, the girl decided to explain her mutterings after blushing and giving a smile. According to her, she wanted to use a boat to sail to an island just to get a couple of coconuts. And she explained all of this in a very NPC like fashion from normal RPGs. Although he for the most part zoned out at the unnecessary parts, Steel couldn’t help but get a sense of air headedness and slight stupidity from this girl. She hasn’t completely thought this through has she? Steel thought to himself as he had a bit of a sweat drop at what she wanted to do. Due to the small amount of tact he had in him though, he decided not voice his thoughts out loud or risk offending this girl. Steel was now glad he had Asperger’s Syndrome in this situation. Because of it, it was much easier for him to keep his poker face as to not let the girl on to whatever was in his mind. Right after he had figured out a way to tell her his thoughts without outright insulting her, the girl had introduced herself with a cute smile as Rihn. Steel nodded and then proceeded to introduce himself as it was only right to introduce yourself after another has done so. “It’s nice to meet you Rihn, my name is Steel. If you want, I can help you out with finding some coconuts. It seems you really need help anyway. Let’s get along then.” He then began to think. After a few seconds, he began to talk again. “I’m guessing that the only way you think you can get to island is through renting a boat or buying a boat right? Obviously, buying a boat would cost too much money and in the case of renting one, that would mean we would have a time limit. Just so you know, there are other hidden ways to get to places. Give me a moment.” Steel then took out his map as well as his pen and began putting his scribe skills to work. When he put his pen on the parchment paper, the ink began to draw itself into a map of the area, giving Steel knowledge of locations and physical landmarks. “Did you know that some areas of land only come surface during a certain time of the day? There’s a path like that leads to one of the islands.” He then peered into the distance a little. “And even if there aren’t coconuts there, I see a raft on that island.” He said, showing that he had good eyesight to be able to see that far. Well, he had to keep his eyesight good because of his kendo competitions. “The only problem is that we’ll have to fight some monster on the path. Well, when that happens, I’ll protect you.” He said this after seeing her status screen which showed her low level.
