Walking through the Thames Marshlands, Shard's head slowly turns from side to side, surveying the dark wetlands under the cover of night. He drinks in the atmosphere, listening to the rustling of the low-level monsters that roam the beginning area.
The tall blades of grass in front of him rustles, Shard's head whips toward at the source of the sound. His hands reach for his weapons by his belt: his left hand touching the cover of his Grimoire and his right hand gripping his rapier. Shard slowly gets into a stance, shifting his center of gravity closer to the ground. An Animated Sludge, pushed through the grass. Shard blinks underneath his mask as he cocks his head to the side in confusion. The Sludge slowly moves closer towards the solitary Heretic. Noticing that the monster isn't making a move, Shard initiates his EVALUATE skill. The monster stop just shortly out of Shard's attack range and sits there.
After a second, Shard inhales and says a low whisper, "EVALUATE." An interface pops in front of him about the little sludge beast.
Animated Sludge, Level 2
HP: 100% MP: 100% Weakness: N/A
Skills:
-Mana Attraction: Attracted to magic users.
-Poison Attack: 25% chance to cause poison damage for 10 seconds.
Shard lets out a sigh and relaxes. His hand moves away from his sword hilt, but he keeps his Grimoire close to his chest in his other hand. He walks past the monster and continues his way through the marsh. He keeps a mental note of the encounter. As he pushes through, he notices that he hasn't met any other monsters except for Animated Sludges. He starts to sigh and mentally prepares a strategy for fighting Sludges.
I really don't want to engage a poisonous creature in combat, wasting my mana on GLUTTONOUS HAZE or TAINTED CHARITY. Not to mention the corruption points from using the-
A stick bounced off of Shard's mask, interrupting his thought. Confused by the sudden wooden assault, he tries to find where it came from, earning him a face full of mud. Wiping off the mud from his mask, and flicking the muck from his gloves he sees an angry looking tree stump two meters in front of him. He blinks in surprise, silently cursing at himself for not noticing it earlier. In the corner of his eye, he saw that his negligence rewarded him a slightly lower health.
"Evaluate."
Possessed Stump, Level 1
HP: 100%
MP: 100%
Weakness: Fire, Light
Skills:
-Immobility: Unable to move, resists movement impairing skills and spells.
And then another glop of mud sails at Shard, which he narrowly dodges as he leans to the side. Shard simultaneously unsheathes his rapier and opens his grimoire. Keeping the sword by his side, using the rapier's point to direct his basic magic bolts. His first bolt arcs through the air and over the immobile stump. Shard sighs and readjusts his aim with the rapier, launching another bolt at Stumpy. The bolt slams into the Possessed Stump, who growls in anger, it retaliates by throwing pebbles at Shard. The tiny stones harmlessly bounce off, still shaving off a small amount of Shard's health. Shard fires off one last bolt, clearing away the rest of Stumpy's health. Shard relaxes with a sigh as the monster breaks apart then it disappears as though it wasn't there to begin with. He blinks before he dismisses the odd sight he just saw. Shard wipes off any remaining dirt off of himself, before he continues his hunting expedition.

Polack || Thames Marshlands... what a damn dirty place || Polack found himself walking through the muddy Thames Marshlands. It was already night time, but because Polack wasn't tired, he decided to take a walk and eventually has gotten himself to use the time properly. The wetlands were quite uncomfortable to walk though, but Polack has survived worse and he certainly wasn't one to care if he becomes dirty. Taking a wide swing around any Animated Sludge to avoid them, since he knew, that they were poisonous, the only really creatures he could really take on were Possessed Stumps. It was quite easy, since he had a long ranged weapon and, es expected from low level monsters, they didn't really were much of a challenge. He was doing all that quite slowly, since he was alone here, he had no reason to rush. Furthermore he also used opportunities to rest in case he has taken any damage. Since he aimed for level one monsters, he didn't had to use any skills, which came in handy. All Polack had to take care about was not to get into the Possessed Stumps attacking range, which wasn't really hard with a long-bow after all. Not saying even a word, working alone silently in the night, it was quite astouning that he has chosen the right main class for himself by coincidence. Assassin. After making his way through the marshlands and taking a Possessed Stump out from time to time, always careful to avoid anything else that he could encounter, he soon found himself not alone anymore. Far away from him he saw a figure that simply wouldn't want to fit to the rest of the scenery. It was soon obvious, that it wasn't any monster and considering that it was in the middle of nowhere, he started to doubt, that it was someone from the People of the Land. Polack decided to take a closer look. Silently, but without being sneaking around or something like that, since he didn't want the person to assume, that he was stalking him or something like that, he soon had no doubt at all, that it was a fellow Adventurer. He hesitated. Polack doubted that he would attack him, it seemed senseless for him, but what should he do, even when it was an Adventurer? His English was bad and that made him not confident enough to start up a conversation and why would they conversate anyway? But on the other side, maybe it wouldn't be that bad to have a companion after all. Walking up to the person, loud enough to make sure, that he was heard by him, he checked the status interface. Since he didn't know what to say he simply stood there and looked at him, not trying to be that creepy though. Well, this was awkward since he didn't say anything and just walked up to him, what should he do? Polack decided, that maybe the whole companion thing wouldn't be bad, so he send the person the invitation to a party.

Shard sighs, thinking to himself. "The Stump is an easy target, but rather annoying and not much of a fight. Cripes, it was just throwing bits at me like a child...It doesn't help that my aim's a bit off. Geh, being bound to the system is just...irritating. Of all things, it had to be mud." Shard rubs the part of the mask that covers his forehead and temple with his right hand, as though he was nursing a headache. Closing his eyes.
He hears his HUD make a pinging noise and reopens his eyes. An invitation appears in his vision. Whipping his body around, he sees another player staring at him. Shard's head cocks to the side before he straightens up, keeping his arms behind him, and as he clicks his heels together. Pushing his chest out, he stares back at the other player quizzically. Shard takes a quick look at the HUD to see the new player's information. It says that Shard's new guest is Polack, a Level 1 Human Assassin. The invitation box still left untouched by Shard. While it seems like the man isn't moving from his spot, Shard takes the opportunity to take the first step. In a fluid motion, Shard removes his hat with his right hand and bows, his left hand tucked onto his stomach and his right hand held out to his side. After a second he returns to his original position, placing his top hat in it's rightful spot and his hands behind his back. Shard waits for the other player to reply.

Polack || an awkward moment || Polack looked at the person reacting finally to him being there and saw him bowing down towards him. He appeared to be an eccentric fellow to the young male, but he assumed that it wasn't a bad thing after all. Since he wasn't much of a person for that whole bowing down thing, Polack had to come up with something else as a greeting. After a few seconds he decided to go with a simple " Hello.", followed by a nod in a greeting gesture, his body automaticly lowering for the moment of the nodding motion. Since the person didn't accept the invitation, he figured that the person was waiting for some kind of explanation. That was the rather hard part of that all in a certain way. His blockade in saying anything in English kicked in once again and for a second or two he even panicked. Thankfully, he was able to maintain a friendly meant pokerface however. The best way would be to probably to explain the situation somehow. He decided to keep it simple, as simple as it could get. " What about stronger monster?" He said and he could literally feel the pain of his own strong polish accent. No matter how bad he would try, he simply couldn't get rid of that god damn accent. But he hoped, that his question was reasonable. Together they could go for stronger monsters without such a big risk, which also would certainly be a benefit for both of them here.

Shard clears his throat and says, "It seems you're interested in creating party. Correct? To fight higher level monsters, ja?"
Shard stares back at Polack, his mask mimicking his own smile. Studying the assassin carefully, he manually toggles his EVALUATE skill. His right hand moving from his back to let him use the interface, his index finger flicking and clicking as he navigates through the menus, carefully avoiding the invitation box. After the 1 second cast time, Shard silently reads Polack's skills list: ARROW REVOLVER, CRASH SHOT, MAGNUM SHOT.
Shard carefully considers the grey haired Adventurer, going through hypothetical scenarios he may encounter with this fellow. However, they're both primarily ranged characters, Shard being more focused on support, at the moment, and Polack being built as a sniper. Taking Polack with him would mean that they are both at a disadvantage when it comes to melee fighting, so if he must take his aid, they will both need to carefully pick out their target. Or he will have to act as a decoy, and put himself at risk.
The mask covering Shard's devious smile, he mentally agrees to the invitation, planning to use the Adventurer for his own gains.

Polack || still awkward... || And it was still kind of awkward. Polack too a moment to take a loot at the information given about the person. Scharden Freuden, Level 1, Half-Alv Heretic. Despite the Grimoire and the Rapier, his skills implied ranged attacks. This wasn't the most optimal version of a team up, but if they were careful enough, this all would still be of certain benefit for both of them. " Yes." He said concerning his earlier question. The words were simple to understand so he was pretty sure, that Scottpoutgrim has recognized him as a foreigner. He then saw that the other person seemed to have to not have anything against them working together, which was kind of a relief. With a swift movement he armed himself in his bow again and looked around. There wasn't much to disposition anyway, at least around the place they were standing right now. " So..." Polack started, but then had to stop to think about what he should say and how it was in English and then how he could pronounce it. He decided to use a simplified version of a sentence once again. Faking up his confident voice once again, he continued " ...what you want to hunt? You take decide.". Polack was confident in their results, but he wasn't quite sure of how the communication would go, but for now he decided to not worry about that. Only the time will show how this will work out and if it won't they can simply split up again.

Polack, Level 1 - Assassin

Shard returns his attention back at his new found comrade and answers, "We'll fight the first thing we see. Agreed, kamerad?"
Shard strides forward keeping his back straight. While moving closer to Polack, stopping in front of the new player. He holds out his right hand in front of Polack; keeping his left hand behind his back, gripping his grimoire.

Polack || we have a party || And there it was finally, Polack took a look at the party information on the top left. They was actually nothing interesting and nothing new in that, but it was still something one automaticly looks at. Turning his attention back to the male, he saw him walking up towards Polack and reaching his hand out. He has said that they will attack whatever they see, kind of a vague tactic, but actually, considering the level and the little of monsters anyways, that wasn't actually that much of a bad idea anyway. He reached out his hand aswell in order to shake his hand and he nodded. " Alright." He simply said, once again prefering to keep it as short as possible. Polack never even thought about completely trusting this person, but he simply saw no reason why they should mean eachother any harm. They were simply two persons in a currently rather empty area, which would certainly benefit from cooperation. As he let go of the male's hand, he took a look past the male to search for anything to attack. What kind of monsters could they kill here except for stumps and slugs? Polack wasn't sure, but they would simply see. He moved his hand as in he was inviting his team party member to move forward first. He hoped he would realize that with a long-bow his range was slightly farther than the one of Sharden, so he should stay in the back in order to operate more efficiently.

The thick fog was enough to rupture anyone's bravery, let alone the screeches and cries coming from the more-than-hostile wildlife that surrounded the area. "Meeelllllooooww..let's get out of here.. you don't have anything to prove anything anymore, alright? I'm sorry I made you come"! Shaking his head from left to right, he pressed onward into the depths of the marshland; determined to prove her wrong and more, no matter the cost. "Evaluate"Megani shrieked and jumped as the ghastly voice echoed throughout the vicinity. "Mellow, I'm scared, let's just go already! I can't take this kind of pressure!". Since they'd entered, the two had held hands; seeming to be closer than before, perhaps? A figure soon came into their focus, the figure making out to be a very fancy looking man; his face also covered in the glorious mask. The tree reached towards the rocks, lifting them up in the air as it flung them towards the man; seeming to be more relaxed than anything. Being unable to take it, Megani let out a loud scream; her fear of dark places getting the best of her in th-- Wait a moment, friend. From what I gather you're probably rather confused right now. Why don't I take you to the beginning of this quest..the argument that started it all.. FLASHBACK!"I'M A WHAT?!" Megani placed her hands on her hips, a smirk on her face as she swayed them to and fro; confidence bursting from her being "You heard me, mister. You are a chicken!". By this point it had become a habit for Mellow to stop dead in his tracks; palm slamming against his forehead as he questioned her overall belief in him. "Look, I know you're just trying to bait me, which is fine, but you and I both know that I am no chicken." Man was he ever easy to reel in "Oh yeah? Well I bet you wouldn't last 10 minutes in the Thames Marshlands!". Mellow had just about enough of her wild dares and impossible challenges, so he decided he'd go to the Thames Marshlands; his knowledge of Megani's fears coming beautifully into play with her challenge. "Alright, I'll accept your challenge, Megani, but there's no going back from the deal once it's made; not even if you scream." She gulped, gradually beginning to regret her challenge but emitting too much flex to be stopped now "Deal!"PRESENT TIME"No deal, no deal! Mellow I want out; let me out!" Since her arrival here, she'd been jumping from wall to wall with shrieks, jolts, and shutters. She was a complete chicken when it came these kinds of areas; something she hadn't exactly known when challenging him to come here. "If I had to say, this seems to be more of a challenge for you than anything!" He chuckled about, coming into closer view of the man he'd met earlier but-- What's this? He turned around and bowed to thin air. Was he some blaring psychopathic or something? I mean, Mellow wasn't a psychopath, right? Hah, yeah, not psychopathic; unfortunately for him, however, that was not the case. A man appeared before the masked entity; Mellow just now decided to read up on their information. "Polack, level 1 assassin; judging from the garb he looks to be a marksman of some type." His eyes now shifted to the man with the mask "Scharden Freuden? What is he a german er somethin'? He's looking like a swashbuckler but his class clearly says Heretic.. I gotta keep my eyes on this one.". Making his way towards the two after having to deal with Megani's bullshit up until this point, he spoke with a refreshing tone; clearly content to have met the two but masking his emotions as always. "Looks like we got ourselves a party here..mind if we tag along?"
"WHAT?! Mellow, no, Mellow, NO! We need to leave not stay! Mellow! MELLLOW!"With his hands in his pockets, he stood alone in the Marshlands; no real person standing next to him. The two would often find themselves confused, wondering if he'd been talking to them or the person inside of his mind, but he was sure they'd come to deal with it eventually. He strung out his hand to shake the others as the masked man did before him; not actually knowing if he could trust these gentleman for the long haul. "The names Mellow" he tapped his forehead with his free hand "OW! And this is Megani". He wasn't sure exactly what he was getting himself into, but he damn sure knew Megani was going to have nightmares after this one. Mission successful... Calm was rather lethargic at this time of night, but he knew this was also one of the best times for an assassin to fight. Wanting to power through his sleepiness, he decided to go out adventuring. He wasn’t quite sure where to go so he let the wind decide his direction. The wind wasn’t blowing in a steady direction, but more so in multiple directions and different times. While his journeys, he came across some nasty monsters, a couple of lower levels, which he would say with ease, and a few higher levels which he had to avoid. Having the slight advantage of being able to see enemies well outside of their aggro range was helpful at this time, because if one of the higher level monsters he saw were to see him first, running would not be an option for this assassin. On his journeys, he came across swap with a ton of foliage, the perfect place to be at this time of night as an assassin. He pressed on further enjoying the scenery and killing whatever monsters he came across. Most of which were monsters that were unaware of the real monster walking through the swamp, this assassin was killing slimes left and right faster than they could respond to his attacks. It was all fun and games, he just wanted to do a bit more. Traveling further into the swamp, he started hear voices just outside of his sensory range. A group of people were not too far from him, not being the type who wanted to be social while out in the open at this time of night, Calm decided to trail back behind them and watch them carefully trying to be careful enough to avoid being caught by them, and staying outside of their perception. He climbed a tree, and with stealth like ninja skills, he hid there, ready to jump to another tree to keep on their trail if they started moving. Because he was such a low level pathfinder, he wasn’t able to make out who the people are, he could just tell that they were player and not monsters or anything else of the like. Just as Shard turns to lead Polack to newer hunting grounds, another person walks from the shadows and into Shard's field of view. The man is wearing rather casual clothing and most of his head is obscured with his jacket hood, the only thing that looks out of place, is the man's brightly painted fox mask.
"Looks like we got ourselves a party here..mind if we tag along? The name's Mellow. OW! And this Megani." Shard watches the man tap his forehead.
Shard's eyes shifted from the person and onto the UI textbox that appeared in front of him: Mellow, Level 1 Human Monk. Much like his first encounter with Polack, Shard manually activates EVALUATE again, Mellow's skills pop out in front of him: BEATDOWN, BULLET PUNCH, and ZOOM ATTACK. Just as he finished reading through the skills, the newcomer held out his hand in front of Shard.
Hmm. It seems this is what could be called the metaphorical god-granted gift. Seems like I have myself another pawn. Two different names, one person. Sounds like the man is suffering from multiple personality disorder. Wunderbar, I can study what kind of psychological effect corruption can induce, inconspicuously. This is a rather fortunate night. And what rather good timing that this Mellow person joined in. Shard wonders to himself as to how long has this man been watching him and keeping a mental note that there may be even more people besides Mellow.
Instead of shaking Mellow's hand, Shard uses his right hand to use the interface, sending the monk an invitation to the party. Once he sent the invite, his hand returns behind his back and he walks past Mellow, leading his party to swampier pastures. Shard silently thanking his luck...

Polack || yay? || Polack looked at the strange newcommer with a puzzled face. As he chcecked the given information about Mellow, he was kind of glad, that the person appeared. It was pretty good to have someone for close range combat to take the damage. With a smirk, ignoring the fact how strange this fellow appeared, Polack shook the hand of Mellow, simply introducing himself as " Polack." After the typical foreplay has been done, they could finally proceed to kill some monsters. While following Sharden, Polack allowed himself to kill a Possessed Stump from time to time when they did encounter one. It was an easy task and Polack didn't even had to stop following the person while doing that, since he didn't really had to stand still to shoot accurately. It seemed like skills from the outside world came in handy inside the game aswell. He was actually wondering, where Sharden was leading them and what kind of monsters they were going to fight. The slimes he saw earlier were way too easy for three persons, which is why he was wondering about that. With an amount of three people, they could easily go for monsters with a few levels either. Of course that all would depend on how well they could work together, but as long as they would get to an understanding when someone uses a stronger skill to set enough damage to change the monster's focus on the other one, the risk for the monk would be lowered enough.

"So.. do we have an end goal here orr?.."
Without turning around, Shard spoke out loud, “Hunting. Leveling. And studying. Nothing more, nothing less."
He leads his two party members deeper into the mashes, nimbly stepping through the swamp and consciously avoiding any dubious looking ground. Shard hums the tune of Gilbert and Sullivan’s Modern Major General. And we’ll be hunting something more than just a Stump.
They past by a few Possessed Stumps, which Polack immediately took down with deft shots from his bow before they could do any damage to the party. The game’s combat system is very useful. I can’t tell if it’s from his own skills that he obtained back on Earth or if the system is doing the work for him. Shard pulls his left hand out from his back to look at the spellbook he carries, his thumb rubbing against the shoddy looking cover. He can feel it's imperfections through his glove. Down by his hip, the rapier silently bumps against Shard. It seems that there are some few things I can exploit it just by using the system to my advantage. I'll deal with any problems when they pop up. Polack can be molded to be a rather effective sniper. And this Mellow or Megani, can be a rather effective meat shield as well. My only concerned would be to just keep them alive and they, in turn, will keep me alive. And as long as I'm alive, then I can see what this world really is. A game, a real world, or both. At least then, I can see what I can gain from this place...otherwise whatever caused me to end up here is worthless.
Shard discretely turns his head to get a better look at Mellow. Studying the monk, from top to bottom. Shame that I can’t study Mellow/Megani’s face all too well. But as his skills show, he is useful on the front lines, I’ll keep an eye on him. Although, it does seem like Polack has accepted Mellow-gani in my stead. This may make things easier for me. But definitely another reason to sleep with half an eye closed.
Suddenly Shard hears scurrying through the swamp. Stopping in his tracks, signals his party members to stop and stay quiet. Out of the grass a small group of Grimy Swamp Snails appeared, seven in all. The large slow moving monsters making their way towards Shard’s party. Their information bars fills up Shard’s vision, causing him to quickly adjust his HUD into a minimized format. Four level ones and one levels three, four, and five. The Heretic smiles to himself. “Perfect.”
While watching the snails, he toggles EVALUATE manually on the level five Grimy Swamp Snail and silently reads the text box. Resists water attacks and slow debuffs. No weaknesses. A good chance to see my komrads in action.
Taking advantage of the monsters’ slow movement speed, he devises a quick plan. “Mellow. You’re up front. Start with Zoom Attack and aggro the higher level snails, starting with the level three. Use Beatdown the second that snail’s HP reaches below fifty percent. Pollack, you and I will take on the level ones from a distance, then assist with the higher levels if we have to. When I see Mellow’s health drop down to sixty percent, I’ll support him. No one makes a move until I give out the mark. Understood?”

Polack || Drive slow homie || Continuing to follow Sharden, Polack mainly watched the surrounding in order to find some kind of monsters, but from time to time he watched his two party members aswell. He noticed Sharden peeking at Mellow, which made him wonder. First he ignored him in a quite rude way and then he was stalking him? Something about all that seemed quite fishy to Polack, but, which probably is not much of a surprise, he decided to not say a word. Sharden in general seemed like quite a strange figure. One couldn't say what he was going to do in an instance and what the outcome of it was. However he still decided to follow as for now. Suddenly he saw the Grimy Slime Snakes. He had to check them out to see their names, but he has seen them before that already. Listening to Sharden, After taking a while to translate it somehow in polish and comprehend what has been said, Polack had to admit, that this was quite a good concept. Polack realized that this man seemed to be quite intelligent, which made this male even more dangerous in his eyes. Taking out his bow, he prepared an arrow and put it on the sinew of the bow and aimed at one of the level one snails that he has been told to attack. The very instant there would be a signal to attack for him, Polack would shoot the arrow and, how he usually did, certainly hit the target.

After being introduced to Polack, things seemed to be going well for the group; Shard and Polack being their usual silent selves while Mellow and Megani did nothing but talk the entire way. "Hey Mellow, don't you think Shard is kinda cute?" He growled "We gunna start this again, Megani?" She licked her lips seductively "You should let me take over for a moment.. I just want to talk to him" He rapidly began flicking his forhead "NO NO NO NO NO NO! You aren't going to get your neepING KICKS in MY BODY! I won't stand for it, Megani, I won't neeping stand for it!". Bursting into a full laughter, she fell back on the ground; quickly scampering back to his arm the moment she heard the sound of a twig snapping behind her. "AYYYEEE!! Alright I'm sorry, no more jokes, no more jokes! I promise I'm not gun--aaaa...aaaaaaaa....Melllloooow!". She'd begun tugging onto his jacket, point forward with a bit of ear in her eyes "What? More spooky spooky skeletons in the clo-". Everything slowed for Mellow; his blood boiling while he grinned widely behind the mask. Three level one snails, one level 3, one level 4, and one level 5; each with more malicious intent than the other. "Megani?.." He looked to his alternate personality; said personality looking to him and giving a slow nod as her thumb rose; the classic thumbs of approval taking place "Fight". "HYEAH!"
Mellow cracked his knuckles; hearing the words of Shard and taking them into account. Despite how much he didn't like it, his plans for combat perfectly aligned with Shard's at the moment; it was so perfect it frustrated him. Locking his fists into the place, he held them close to his face and charged forth; his arm drawing back and preparing to Zoom Attack the level 3 snail. "Don't neeping tell me what to DO! HAAAAAH!" Zoom Attack was launched; his fist impaling the snail and sending him flying back(but you know not too far because Mellow is only level one at this time and such). Having the current highest damage in this battle, Mellow aggro'd the attention of all the snails; each one slithering and sliding their slow selves over to him, each one signing their will on the way. FIIIIIIIGGGGGHHHT! Mellow calm down already!...Jeeez!MADE BY VEL OF GS [newclass=.uh]color: #aaaaaa; -webkit-text-fill-color: transparent; background: -webkit-linear-gradient(transparent, transparent),url(http://i.imgur.com/ju2jHyl.jpg) repeat; background: -o-linear-gradient(transparent, transparent);-webkit-background-clip: text;width:450px;position: relative; z-index: 2;[/newclass] [newclass=.uhh]position: relative;margin-top: -154px;margin-right: 0px;z-index: 1;width: 450px;color: #aaaaaa;[/newclass] [newclass=.tbox]width:450px;height:500px;background:#383838;overflow:hidden;position: relative; [/newclass][newclass=.tcover]width:450px; height:500px; background:#383838;position: absolute; top: 0px;-webkit-transition: 0.8s all ease-in-out; -moz-transition: 0.8s all ease-in-out; o-transition: 0.8s all ease-in-out;[/newclass][newclass=.tscroll]height:430px;width:380px;text-align:justify;overflow:auto;font:9px verdana;line-height:13px;color:#838383;padding:20px;margin:5px;margin-top:15px;[/newclass][newclass=.tbox:hover .tcover]-webkit-transition: 0.8s all ease-in-out; -moz-transition: 0.8s all ease-in-out; o-transition: 0.8s all ease-in-out; top: -520px[/newclass] [newclass=.tscroll::-webkit-scrollbar-thumb:vertical] height:2px;border:1px solid #aaaaaa[/newclass][newclass=.tscroll::-webkit-scrollbar] width:2px;height:3px;[/newclass]

HAAAAAH!
Mellow's battlecry echoes throughout the still night, and the man pushes through the swamp without waiting for Shard's say. Shard watches as Mellow's attack pushes the snail back slightly. The Heretic studies the Snails moving slowly towards the level one Monk. Shard sighs quietly out of his mask and thinks to himself, "I may have to rescind my earlier statement about this fellow. His usefulness is spotty at best, he has little control over his emotions. Making him a rather unstable weapon, especially for my experiments."
Soon, Shard runs up behind Mellow to take a supportive position behind the hot headed adventurer. He brings up the party menu box into his vision to monitor his teammates' statuses. As he does so, he unsheathes his rapier and brings his grimoire up front. His left hand, which is also carrying his grimoire, instinctively holds onto the brim of Shard's hat, holding it in place letting him push through the muck without fear of losing his hat. He takes his spot three meters behind the monk, acting as a center guard of their attack.
He yells out to Polack, keeping his eyes glued at the situation in front of him, "You're staying in the back and keep firing at the level ones first, whittle down their health. Prepare CRASH SHOT and fire it on my mark."
"Mellow. Don't overextend. You have five seconds to pull back."
Shard stands still and starts to cast MIASMA CURTAIN. A violet mist begins to appear and draws itself around the Heretic's body. With his grimoire held against his chest and his rapier held by Shard's side, pointing down, Shard counts down the seconds until the spell's maximum charge time is up. The miasma mist slowly, but surely coils around him.
"One."
