Her arms stretched out wide from within the comforts of her bed as she released an exhausted yawn. She had stayed up all night and had barely gotten any sleep. The constant bickering of the birds outside in combination with the violent pinging of steel as the blacksmith outside the inn tempered fine steel over a fire. With each strike the burly, red beard dwarf gave, it made the cotton candy haired Wolf hair’s ears twitch in an annoyed manner. Restless and disgruntled, she tried to drown out the noise by tossing a pillow over her ears as she rolled over on her side and squirmed to find some sense of comfort. However, the high pitched pinging still echoed outside the room.
With a rough snarl, she rose up in her pajamas and growled at the window, as she moved towards it and opened it, leaning out and towering over the edge in her pajamas.
“Oi, firecrotch! Do ye’ think you could keep it down! Some people pay good money to get some freaking sleep! What kind of jackass puts a blacksmith shop next to a inn anyway!?! You about as smart as a bag of hammers!” Saskia quipped as she cursed at the man and withdrew her torso from the window.
“The freaking nerve of some people. This is ridiculous...” She grumbled as she scratched her belly in a tired motion.
“What time is it?” She inquired as she drug the palm of her hand through her bang and over her face.
She pulsed her hand out roughly, stretching out her fingers at full length as a ray of light protracted from her palms and burst into a stunning display of intricate webs that mapped out various data and statistics in the form of an interface menu.
It was 9:07 A.M.
She groaned and batted her eyes several times as she caught a whiff of her morning breath and wrinkled her nose.
She walked over to the restroom, brushed her teeth, washed her face, and combed her hair then left to return to the room.
She spanned out the interface menu once more and equipped her stratford arms armor which was severely lower level than she was.
“Man, I wonder when my armor is going to finally arrive from the ‘Funereal Parlor’ shop. “ Saskia muttered. “Well, I better get training if I’m ever going to wear it. I paid good money for that and I’m not even cose to the level I’m supposed to be for it.”
“What a drag...” Saskia sighed as she walked down the stairs in a lazy manner. It had already been several months since she was stuck in this game and it seemed that all she ever did was eat, sleep, tank, repeat.
Her back was killing her and she had suffered more bruises from the last raid than she could count as she still felt the pain of that dragon claw that ripped through her spine and hurled her into a rock.
She made her way downstairs in a loud crowd of gambling patrons and shady figures that glared at her from behind their hand of cards.
She took up a wooden mug from the bar and ordered a stiff drink.
As she sipped from her cup, she stood up with it and walked over to the job board to scan over it.
Most of the quests available were of the lower level nature, which made Saskia grumble as the early bird always got the worm.
“Oh, great...all the good quests are taken...what am I suppose to do now...” She grumbled as she gazed at the board.
There were three quests available.
One to clear the seas of vicious eletric eels.
Another to escort a man across the docks from the vicious sea monsters, the Sahaguins.
An lastly a quest to take out the mad seagulls and bring back seven feathers for a tailor.

“Apologies me’lady...” Saproth bowed sideways as to keep at least one eye on the lass, “You were here first, just fair to let you pick first as it were,” He took a side step to give the woman her space.
It was only a week since Saproth climbed out of the caves he’d been trapped in all this time and was still learning what had happened since the day all players were trapped in... more unfortunate that now he had only played the game a month in before the catastrophe.
He had played this game before in his native country but since he moved for work purposes, he had to change servers, and now he’s trapped in a server he had less familiarity and lesser friends.
Even at his distance from the jobs listings, Saproth could make out the three last job posts... “Well, I guess that’s that for me then... Im not going near any large body of water,” He shook his head and sighed as he was about to turn to find work elsewhere.

Saskia raised a quizical brow at the green haired Druid. She didn’t expect anyone to really be greeting her so soon in the middle of the tavern. At least the guy didn’t seem like some crummy pick-up artist that made some pathetic one liner to try to gain her attention.
No. This guy was far more sweet as she spoke in an humble and polite manner. Saskia smiled genuinely at him as she mimiced a motion she had learned from the Dwarven Guardian Locke, who was a chivalrous noble.
She brought a fist to her heart and held her other hand at her side as she retuned the bow respectfully.
“Appreciate it...” She muttered casually as she scanned the contents once more. She was about to make her selection when the emerald haired man mentioned something quite odd to her.
“What’s wrong? You got hydrophobia or something? You don’t know how to swim?” She inquired. “You do know you’re in the Thames Coastline, right? If you need work and the water is an issue, I can always use my guardian taunts to reel them in closer to the land.”

"That is quite nice of you to offer," Saproth smiled as he stopped turning half way to face the generous woman, "As for not knowing where I am, yes... that is partly my fault as well. In a rush to find friends, I took my chances and threw myself into a fairy ring." The rest was self explanatory.
At least there was one person there tolerant enough to give him even 2 minutes of her time, Saproth thought.
"Not that I have hydrophobia or anything," Saproth wasn't sure what the word even meant but if it was anything like Arachnophobia, then he had some idea. "Only... being a druid and all, Im just not keen and confident the powers allowed for me in the game are at all effective near the sea... I mean... If I'd had designed the game, I dont think a druid would have much control over seaweed, as it were..." Saproth smiled trying to explain his logic.
Having more than five words exchanged, as it was customary, Saproth quickly dusted off his greeting hand and extended it to her, "I am Saproth... or at least I am in this game..." He introduced himself. "Always glad to meet good people."
Just then, Saproths stomach started to rumble. "Oh, excuse me..." Saproth's embarrassment made him catch his belly to effortly try to muffle the sound. "He, he..." Just when he was trying to make friends... just his luck, Saproth thought to himself.

Saskia was uncertain if her words would reach the green haired gentleman as it was also quite possible he would all but ignore her. Instead, he pivoted on his heels and showed his appreciation for her generosity.
It seemed now rather obvious that he was newer to the game as was a little wet behind the ears. He mentioned throwing himself into a fairy ring, which meant that it was possible he might have come from another server.
Saskia nodded a few times in understanding as he went on to explain that he had no fear of water, but that he felt inadequate due to his class and the nature of the given terrain. He lacked the confidence that Druid’s would be very adept over combat. She was uncertain what a druid was actually known for lore-wise, but she did know one thing about them. They had nice healing over time abilities.
After he greeted her, she smiled gracefully and shook his hand.
“It’s a pleasure Saproth. Saskia Steelheart. Guild Headmistress of Vylbrand Academy of Tactics, Mystics, and Trade...”
“Yes, it is nice to see a new face. I think the green hair is pretty cool. I’m a fan of pink myself. Might as well stray from the norm if it’s a game right? Certainly makes things a bit interesting. “
She chuckled then noticed that his stomach was growling.
“Well...maybe we could grab a bite to eat first?” Saskia said. “And if you want to later, maybe we can work on your skills in combat. It’d be much safer to go out with a decent tank.”

"Sounds like a brilliant plan... although, I wouldn't want to impose on your good nature," Saproth was a bit hesitant now knowing how much of a big deal a Guild Mistress might be responsible for, let alone having the time to spend with someone he barely knew, "I am grateful for your kindness, I hope I am not too much of a bother."
There is so much Saproth wanted to know... like why no one seemed to be bothered about getting back to the real world in a hurry... but he wasn't sure if it was his place to panic or just keep his anxiety tucked in as if everything is normal and just go about his business like any other day in Elder Tail. "I would truly appreciate any help you can offer, but only if you are sure I am not a bother. I can only imagine how busy a Guild Mistress might be..."
"But I would take you on that offer for a bite to eat... I havent had real food for a long while," Saproth was wondering if Lady Saskai had food that didn't taste like cardboard.

“Heh, oh don’t worry about that. I have help from the Director of Education and all the professors. They are pretty avid instructors and can handle the guild when I’m away. I’m really just like anyone else, so no need to treat me special or anything.”
Saskia smiled gently at the boy as he seemed to feel as if possibly he were being a burden to her. The candy pink haired wolf hair shook her head and giggled.
“I’d be happy to assist in anyway. But I would definitely like to get to know you a bit better. So What made you choose Druid? They are a bit of a rare species. And what about your subclasses, which did you just so happen to choose?”
She was very interested in learning more about druids as the only one she had ever met was a cotton candy haired man who was able to cast mid-level tier II abilities. They encompassed powerful regenerative healing spells that kept her alive on the front lines pretty well.
“I always love making friends with healers. As a tank, we are excellent assets to one another and share a grand mutual benefit.”
“Don’t worry about food. I’ve got us covered” The warrior lioness replied. “Can’t say it’ll be bursting with flavor, but if you like fruits, that always works.”
Saskia went to the bar and ordered two fruit bowls.
“Do you drink at all?” She asked as she looked back. “I don’t know if I should get you a soda or maybe a margarita or something...”

"How old do you think I am?" Saproth was about to get quite annoyed but then had to stop himself when he remembered he wasn't in his real body... and that the woman with him has yet to learn that he actually has a wife he should get back to when he returns to the real world. All the more reason to urgently find a way to get back, although it seems no one here is in much of a hurry. Saproth simply changed his tone, "I may be new to this game but I assure you me'lady, I am more familiar to other things than you might think," Saproth put a bit of mystery in in his words.
Walking with Saskia, Saproth continued to learn more, "Im glad you have the time for me. I imagine I am not the first lost puppy you ever took pity on," Saproth followed Saskia's lead.
As he was offered something to eat finally, Saproth took a bite size and casually placed it into his mouth, "Sweet!" he said with a hint of relief it at least tasted like something. Then turning back to Saskia's question, "Yes, I definitely would eat anything. Im not a player that nails himself to the part, especially with our situation being trapped here and all... but I might want to avoid drinking spirits at this time, its still too early and I don't know how liqueur would affect me in game,"
Saproth had another bite before he asked, "You all seem well adjusted to our situation..." He tried to drive the conversation, "Although, being a Druid, I don't imagine I am expected to fulfill the gruesome task of killing at least 20 other Druids and harvest their life forces to become the grand high Druid," Saproth recalled another game in which that was the end goal to become the most powerful Druid. "As for picking this character, I thought the skin runes were simply cool... didn't really think of the magical advantage of this 'race of ritual' as they are called. I definitely didn't make this character thinking I would be stuck with it like this,"
Seeing the conversation was unexpectedly driven into a darker tone, Saproth tried to steer it back to the lighter side, "Thats as much as I know about Druids. Ive only been playing this character for a month before everything changed," Saproth said. "How about you? How long have you been Guild Mistress?" Falling short to desperately asking to join, but didn't want to seem needy.
OOC: How long have we all been stuck in the game? 6 months?

Saskia grimaced at the sudden spark of snappy attitude that the Ritualist seemed to have when she asked about the drink. It was only a casual question as she was curious about the man’s taste in drinks. She ha drank liquor well below the legal age limit back in the will world, so she didn’t know what the problem was.
However, he had dialed the tone down quite a bit, which made the vibe in the air return to a subtle one.
“Ah, my apologies, Saproth. Didn’t mean to offend. Hope you aren’t having too much trouble moving about in your new body.”
Saskia had already been accustomed to her own body, as she make the physical features almost exactly identical to her own, bar the pink hair and wolf ears that protruded from her scalp.
“Hmm...well, I suppose wolves strive in packs, if that’s what you mean.” Saskia smirked as he commented about being a stray dog.
Saskia began to pop a few green grapes casually into her mouth. She absolutely adored them. Such sweet and juicy flavor that burst out of them with every bite. She could eat a whole vineyard of them and never quite be satisfied. It’s like her stomach was a bottomless pit.
“You a fan of grapes as well. They are like my favorite fruit of all time! Pineapples are also pretty good! Oooh! And the little tangerines are wonderful as well! Hmm...maybe I ought to try mixing a bit of fruit with my drinks...I’m a Brewer by trade. So I basically make booze for a living. Haha!” Saskia chuckled as she tossed a grape in the air and caught it with her mouth.
She was casually eccentric in her mannerisms and she liked to keep a laid back vibe.
“Yeah, I mean it’s kind of crazy. I left behind a villa in Gloucestorshire. My family. My shitzu and my horse, Butters. Pretty sure my record label fired me. But it’s whatever. I mean, we got to make the best of it, you know?” Saskia mentioned. “I mean think about it. With the bills that piled up, if we go back now. We’d probably be jobless and evicted from our homes.”
Saskia shrugged her shoulders as she tried to changed the subject.
“I don’t know about all that killing druids stuff. I only fight players that try to PK me. Though, it’ll definitely take them a while to try to put be down for the count.” Saskia laughed as she chewed on her grapes.
“Yeah, I almost picked a runed character. They got a pretty thrilling mystic. Wolves are my favorite animals though. Next is horses. Which is why I decided to become a cavalier. I got a horse nearby in the stable. His name’s Icarus.”
“Well, your character as far as Elder Tales is concerned is one of the primary healers in the game. Personally, I don’t know that much first hand about druids as our guild is kind of dry in the healing department. We got some great melee cadets and a couple good mages, but we rely more on potions for healing and stocking up on food. Which can be costly, to be honest.”
“I’ve been a Guild Headmistress for around..oh...maybe two months. We were founded just before the Snowdonia Winter Ball this past December.”
“We have three divisions. The Protectorates. A militant branch. The Magistrars. The innovative designers and explorers. They often are a bunch of scholars that make new things and go on expeditions to uncover secrets of this new world. And Artisans who are masterful crafters, we also have a focus on creative talents like singing, dancing, acting, painting, and the like there. I believe we’re having a drama club soon as well.”

With Saskia words, Saproth could only think about his wife. It was fortunate they didn't have children yet and that his wife also had a means to support herself, but to imagine if others were not so fortunate, how would people with children and families that depend on them would react being trapped in a game like this...
"So..." Saproth tried to understand, "that's quite a big effort in your part to keep everything organized for everyone else... and as I saw earlier, you were also looking for work? Or was that just something to do to pass the time for you?" Saproth wondered.
Just then, Saproth noticed three rather large men enter the hall. One that seemed to be leader walked to the jobs board and pinned something.
Turning back at his companion, Saproth smiled, "looks like something just came up," he jerked his head to the direction of the job postings. "Care to see?"
OOC: If you dont mind, I'd like to suggest something for us to do...

Saskia was no different as she began to wonder about her sister Lacey. How she thought about how her butler and chef were now most likely jobless and unable to pay their bills or support their families. For all she knows, they could have raided her villa and stole from the pop icon. It was a pretty wild spectrum to see throh the looking glass as she had no idea what to believe was happening with her real body. She could only hope and pray that it was okay in the real world.
“Yeah, we all work together and depend on one another. I like the culture. We’re all about helping others, especially newbies, while also doing fun stuff together like raids as well as being contracted to the more serious tasks like protecting villagers. “ Saskia began to peel a tangerine and nibble into it. After she finished she looked up.
“As for the jobs, sometimes I like to farm the common items and keep them in the guild chest for our lower level members. Keeps everyone with basic items and materials for crafting. Also if I see a lander in danger, I usually try to be helpful. This world can be a dangerous place. Moreso for them than us.” She added as she followed Saproth’s eyes and trailed the to the location of the three men.
“Sure. Let’s go for it. I’m always game. “ Saskia grinned as she rose up from her chair to see what all the ruckus was about. Hopefully it was something a bit more fulfilling than the last three quests. She was looking forward to see the man’s skills.

Saproth walked up to the posting and quickly scanned the details. The locations were not familiar to him but he summarized, "The work requires for a group to 'relocate' a sleeping dragon from a cave..." Saproth cant help to be reminded of a similar plot about a Hobbit story. "Hmm... that probably might be over my level grade..." Saproth admitted, "But it might be exactly what your looking for," Saproth said to Saskai.
He saw Saskai thinking it over as Saproth added, "And if I could slay monsters along the way, without getting in your way, that might be beneficial for me as well..." he suggested.

Saskia eagerly followed behind him to read the contents of the new quest that was posted on the board and discover the nature of this unforseen quest. As she listened to Saproth’s words, her eyes dilated at the thought. Never before had she had an encounter with an actual living dragon or a dead one either for that manner. Deep inside, she felt very awfully intimidated by the quest. Even given her level and experience, she was uncertain if she would be able to best such a fierce beast alone.
He had just so casual given her something that may have been tasked out to the members of her guild as an S ranked quest. Her eyes fell calmly over the paper, but her left hand danced nervously as it curled up.
“Just....what level is this dragon anyway? I might need more than just my efforts to face such a foe. Granted your abilities are appreciated. I just want to make sure such a quest is even realistic...” Saskia inquired as she strummed her hands on the hilt of her steel blade that lied dormant in her scabbard.
She could have swore this green haired man was bloody insane and had all but lost his mind for suggesting such a wild quest. It was one of the very first times that Saskia felt a sense of terror enter her heart when thinking of accepting a quest. She had to make sure, without a doubt, that she would be ready.

One of the stoutly men that had posted the job overheard the two's interest, "Yes, now..." He smiled and toyingly put his muscular arm around Saproth as if he was a ragdoll, "You two will suffice most definitely!" He smiled, "All we need are a number of men to keep the terrain goblins and fauna away while we pull the dragon out of its cave!"
It was clear they needed more information, and the men were quick to oblige, "We were contracted by a consortium of Dwarves, tasking us to remove a dragon, about as big as a small house..." The man tried to scale the size of the beast with his hands stretched wide, "We already have the dragon in chains and our Cleric already has a perpetual sleeping spell on it. All we need now is to move it out to a safer location so the Dwarves can get whatever they want with the cave..."
And before they could ask to where the Dragon would be moved, "There is a clearing about 30 miles from the caves near the coast. The Dwarves have explicit instructions that the Dragon not be harmed and put all precaution to make the transition smoothly. They weren't also stingy about the costs so we actually can take extra men to help us. Unfortunately, the travel from the location to the transfer site is a bit riddled with hordes of goblins and such... we dont want to risk a mishap and wake the dragon..."
The man then eyed them both, "So... interested?"
Saproth turned to Saskai hoping for a positive response.

Saskia seemed to be somewhat nervous as she looked at the sketchy men speak about the quest in such a casual manner as if it wouldn’t be dangerous at all. He seemed to be wearing a cocky grin as his fork tongue tried to persuade them that there wouldn’t be an immense way
“Just a small team. A simple escort mission, that’s it? And you already have others with you?” Saskia raised a skeptical brow. She wasn’t exactly too sure she could trust these men, but if they had others, then they would most likely be setting themselves up for failre if the dragon had awoke.
Biting her lip nervously, she knew she had to put away her indecisiveness. Her heart started to pound in her chest from within the tough shell of her armor.
“Fine. I’m game. “ She stated with all the courage she could muster as she curled a few grapes to her mouth.
“You in, Saproth?” She asked, turning towards him to see how he felt about the situation.
She looked around the room of the tavern, found the waitress and offered her a tip as she grabbed her satchel from her chair.
“Alright then, well, Sap...it’s time to suit up and lace your boots up! We got ourselves a mission!” Saskia cheered enthusiastically.
“I better go grab Icarus.”
She then proceeded to the stables, walking at a brisk pace outside of the tavern to go find her warhorse, Icarus. For this quest, they were definitely going to need him.

Gitty like a schoolgirl, Saproth leaped for joy inside his own head while trying to keep things civil for everyone else watching, "Yes... I say yes!" Saproth wasn't even sure of the question but he was sure of the answer.
Then not really paying attention to anything else, Saproth then heard the a word he did not recognize, "Whats a Icarus?"
Moments later, Saproth was with Saskai and a number of other recruits that came along for the mission, nine in total. (Do we need to be specific about the rest?)
Saproth was itching for his first kill with Saskai and was hoping a goblin or what was just waiting around the next bend, "How long will the trek be from here to our destination?" Saproth asked the guide with them.
"Half a day I would guess at our pace..." The big man replied. "And from there to the point of delivery, about two... depending on the situation along the way..."
Saproth was worried Saskai would change her mind so he quickly followed up with a question, "But you don't expect too much trouble do you?"
"No... as I said, we have the dragon secured... all we need is added assurance no outside interference will delay our mission... which is where you people come in." He said. "You nine will be more than enough."

Saskia chuckled at the excitment that came from the druid.
“So I guess you’re pretty psyched for this. We’ll be fine. Just stay behind me and follow my lead. Try not to go too far or else some of my defensive abilities might not be able to reach you. And it’d be a shame for your first fight if you get sent to the cathedral.” She smirked as they continued down the path of the dirt road towards the stables.
“Icarus. You know from greek mythology? It’s the name I gave for my horse. You’ll see.” She stated as they made it inside the stables.
Saskia approached one lanes where the horses lie until she stopped at one that had a magnificentand shiny white coat and raiant platinum blonde hair. The horse was massive as it nuzzled Saskia, then gazed curiously at Saproth and began to inhale his sent as he started sniffing around him with intrigue.
He would attempt to lick Saproth’s hands, smelling fruit on them.
“He’s my horse, but not just any horse. Icarus here is bred for combat. Not just carrying around luggage. Soon enough, we’ll be able to outfit him with his own suit of armor. I’m pretty excited for that!” Saskia cheered with great enthusiasm.
“Gee...half a day is a bit of a walk. Your legs are going to be sore. Want to ride on the back of Icarus with me? You can if you want to..you just have to hold on tight. My armor might feel a bit cold and bulky, though..” She suggested.
She then looked at the sketchy gentleman as she mounted her horse.
“Those guys sure seem sketchy...I just hope their right about that dragon...could cause problems..” Saskia mumbled as she began to follow after them on their journey.

"HEAL!" Saproth raised his hand and cast the spell as soon as he was comfortably mounted behind Saskia on her horse Icarus. Saproth since had expressed his gratitude.
Saskai made him realize that it was quite a long journey and the support Saproth gave his companions might be more than welcome considering it can help them get to their destination better if not faster.
Expecting some kind of appreciation, Saproth was waiting for at least some acknowledgement of his assistance... but to no avail... "Hmm... tough crowd" Saproth, thought his comrades might be more tired than he thought.
Saproth didn't notice that the path they were following had since disappeared and the forest had swallowed them close into darkness. "Be vigilant... we are entering dangerous territory," a voice warned from one of them, Saproth wasn't sure who.

Guardian - Cavalier - Brewer ____________________________________________________
Saskia watched as the man riding the back of the horse had casted a sooothing balm over the horse Icarus, as she gazed curiously, guessing that he was simply wanting to test his skills and nothing more. The gallant steed had already been at full health, but Saskia could understand his reasoning for doing so.
After all, it was something that she herself did occasionally when teaching her students. A quick demonstration of magic or a skill using the different interface systems for combat.
“Nice. So I see you got the heal spell. I do as well. “ She smiled upon the horse that was traveling “So, what other type of spells do you have? It’s best I know before hand so I can get an idea of how things should go with the flow of combat.”
The stalwart knight was always like this, she wanted to plan things out than to just aggresively dash into combat blindly. She wanted to get a feel for what she would be up against, and how her teammates were going to work in tandem with her to be an influential asset.
It seemed that the battle hardened men were weary and tired as they sluggishly traversed the terrain. Saskia kept out a vigilant eye for any manner of dark beasts that would be seen looming about ahead.
She was riding along in the middle of the left flank. Her shield arm facing outwardly to the outer rim of the formation.
She began to wonder how the other mounted knights from the academy were managing and if they had were ready to learn about formations and combat tactics employed by the cavalrymen of old.

Saproth could feel tension thicken as the warning echoed to him. Only Saskia's voice asking him a question diverted the anxiety he was starting to get, "Umm... Saproth had to think. Im not really sure... I think most of the basic healing spells and two or three offensive once..." Saproth replied as he clung to her back.
From a distance, a lone howl rode through the wind as it flowed through the trees and rustled the leaves. "You must be very well versed with strategies... should we also ask what everyone is capable of as well?"
Just then, the member of the party signaled to the rest. Everyone had their guard up and doubled their vigilance, preparing for something... anything...
The area was surrounded by trees and bushes. "Ambush?" Saproth whispered his concern as his heart started to raise.
