Carmina Mortea
Character Info
REAL NAME: Jay
REAL GENDER: Male
GAME GENDER: Female
AGE: 20
SEXUALITY: Bisexual
FACE-CLAIM: Number 4, LAST MAN STANDING: KILLBOOK OF A BOUNTY HUNTER
PLAYED BY: ScottPoutgrim
RACE: Human
FACTION: Adventurer
Appearance In-Game Appearance: Carmina has shoulder length black and wavy hair, which she always lets down and out of underneath her panda head mask. She keeps a spiked black leather choker on her neck at all times. Her body is thin and voluptuous, more of a pleasing body for Jay to watch on the screen. While it could be argued that it's not an ideal body type to go running in, Carmina has adapted very well to it and actually prides herself with her looks (You could blame Jay's subconscious for that.) Carmina prefers to wear black and white risque clothing, the color scheme to match more of her panda motif. She wears a tight black leather belly jacket and matching, both in tightness and color, leather pants. Underneath her jacket and pants, she wears a thin body suit covering any exposed skin left by the aforementioned clothing. She also has snow white gloves that cover her hands all the way up her forearm. Finally, she also wears spiked knee high leather high heeled boots, which matches her belly jacket and pants. She has a daintly pointed chin, cool blue eyes, and her face is sprinkled with freckles. Carmina also wears a bit of warpaint make up underneath her panda mask, and pierced her right ear with black earrings and a plug with the radiation symbol decorating it. Carmina's face exposed: (She has no tattoos, though.) | Personality Carmina Mortea's build is made to be diametrically opposed to Scharden Freuden, but she still shares Jay's core personality. While Shard would stay quiet unless he has to speak up, Carmina actually prefers to stay completely silent. Carmina has the tendency to ignore most people, and sees them more of squishy targets to loot, rather than as friends. She lets her actions do her talking, literally. However, there are few exceptions to when Carmina will break her vow of silence. Exceptions like the few questions she'd like to "ask" the player who created her avatar. In contrast to Shard's flexible fighting style which focuses on survival and slowly weakening an enemy, Carmina would much rather cleave and destroy her foes quickly. She also prefers fighting for the sake of fighting and will rarely ever take a blow for someone else. Because of her frustration at her creator, she would be absolutely furious if her enemies run away. Carmina doesn't have Shard's introversion, instead she wholeheartedly accepts her curvy body and finds it thrilling to be watched as she fights. She can take hits and hits even harder. Carmina shares Shard's sense of selfishness and being the chaotic neutral. Much like Shard, Carmina is still very human even though she likes to distance herself from that, but she falls into the trap of letting her desires take control of her actions. Due to her inability to remember Earth, she only knows the world of Elder Tale and that she'll be easily entranced by other Adventurers talking about or doing anything related to Earth. |
Extra
A second account created by the same person that created Scharden Freuden. (http://log-horizon.proboards.com/thread/4673/heretic-sharden-freuden) Jay has a habit of making a minimum of two characters per MMO, only because he likes to try out all the different play styles.
Jay built this character to be a PVP fighter, focusing on high DPH and high mobility at the cost of lower defense. You will never see Carmina use any item that slows down her mobility, unless it increases her attack damage.
While ambidextrous, her right hand is slightly more dominant.

Biography
Jay's childhood was fairly mundane. He'd wake up, go to school, come home, sleep, and repeat. Jay is the kind of kid, you wouldn't look twice at. He earned As in class, but would never go for honors or AP classes. He'd study outside of class, but only on subjects he was interested in. But he's not a complete shut in, he has the ability to make friends with anyone and have some semblance of a social life. However, Jay wasn't willing to give it the time or the energy to make them last; because he felt uncomfortable and had something else he'd rather fill his time with: gaming. He's played every kind of game under the sun and I mean every kind of game.
When Jay started college, his life hadn't changed drastically, except he had more time for his beloved past time. While searching through the internet to find another game to add to his schedule, that's when he decided to take up Elder Tales. While he's heard of the popular title, he never really had the time to devote time to it. He didn't expect to be some sort of legend, he just wanted another thing to use his time on and to have fun.
However when the Apocalypse happened, Jay's Carmina avatar seemed to come to life on her own. With Jay's actual consciousness went into Scharden Freuden, Carmina became her own person, albeit retaining Jay's core personalities. However, Carmina is very aware that she's a gamer's avatar, but has no recollection of Jay's personal memories. She searches around The Unfounded Kingdom to find out who put her here in the first place.

CLASS SKILLS
Main Class: Samurai
Splitting Fang: Tier I Skill
A ranged attack performed with any weapon that can be swung. It is activated by swinging the weapon from a raised position over the head downward about 120 degrees. The swing causes a thin white projectile to be generated to quickly slide across the ground and move forward a maximum of 10 meters. The projectile's height is roughly a meter high. As soon as the projectile touches any physical object or non-ally character, it dissipates and deals physical damage to them. This skill can go through allies without damaging them, allowing for a good turtling strategy for teams with strong defensive formations. This skill has an animation time of 1.5 seconds and a cooldown of 6 seconds.

Ace Move: Denkosekka (Lightspeed): Tier I Skill
Chain 1. Starts or resets the current Chain. The activation of Denkosekka covers the samurai in a electrifying aura, raising the user's movement speed. This aura is also used as a makeshift barrier that can absorb some damage from a single hit before dissipating. However, the samurai must be sure not to stray too far from their party while this ace move is active, lest they risk collapsing the party formation. This skill has a duration of 15 seconds and a cooldown of 45 seconds.

Ace Move: Mawarufuusen (Whirlpool Spin): Tier I Skill
Chain 2. Usable after Chain 1 skills. Mawarufuusen is performed by lifting the weapon above the user's head and spinning it around like a helicopter propeller. This causes a manipulation of the air surrounding the user, pulling in any nearby opponents toward the user. As a result, nearby opponents' movement speeds are reduced if they target any character other than the samurai. This skill's attribute is wind, can be sustained up to 10 seconds, and has a cooldown of 1 minute.

Roleplay Class: Hitman
Bounty: Passive skill. After a completed PvP thread, if the Hitman was victorious in battle, they gain an amount of gold equal to the amount that they acquired from their posts. The PvP thread is then locked after this bonus is applied. To apply this bonus, PvP fights cannot be solo threads versus NPCs.
Crafting Class: Pharmacist
Toxicity Tolerance: Pharmacists have developed a certain resistance around drugs. This skill can be toggled to make a pharmacist immune to status debuffs caused by potions. Additionally, they passively recover twice as fast from poison status effects.
