"Let us see here... One soft blanket, one spool of thread, and one sheet of fabric... Oh, but for the soft blanket, I'll need..." Dumah thought to himself for a moment as he skimmed through the archives of his memorized list of crafting recipes, trying to remember the requirements for a soft blanket. "I will need... Two sheets of fabric and one more spool of thread. Alright, then! Those should not be too expensive! I can likely used a level one soft blanket for making the weatherproof clothing I have planned, so... It will be fifteen gold for the soft blanket, and let us make the clothing level... Twenty should be fine. That will make it three hundred gold for the weatherproof clothing, and thus three hundred and fifteen gold in total!" Dumah smiled to himself as he planned to make his weatherproof cloak adapted and redesigned to be a bit easier to wear. He went to buy the materials, and soon went to a public crafting stall he had rented.

AS the cold crisp morning air brushed against the half-alv's skin as he opened the door to the guild building, he smiled. He had popped in for a quick check of his guild's requirement board and was happy to see there were several low level tailoring skill jobs required by certain members and the druid only beamed with delight as he moved hoping that he could fill the orders and improve relations between his guild and himself, not that they needed improving, but still.
Recent events had left the druid drained of any desire to want to explore and seek out new lands, in fact he just wanted to curl up into a ball and forget his troubles and the fact that he had just been dumped. Instead of his usual morning training outside the walls of Londinium, the pink haired druid had decided to pour himself into his crafting, occasionally pulling rather late nights crafting all the types of materials he had into all sorts of projects, lately he had just finished and successfully might he add a level 20 vanity chef outfit and a cloth accessory that would aid the cool down of his healing spells, that one he was quite happy with.
Now however as he moved, puffs of large white smoke escaping over his lips into the cold Londinium air, the druid had decided to get an early start on his crafts and had planned to try and create a level 15 cloth accessory with the hope that if he could successfully make it, then it would have a production quality increase reforge effect. He just needed to decide whether he wanted to make one for the chef subclass or one for the tailoring subclass first.
Rubbing his hands together he trekked the streets of londinium snatching up the morning offers of the fabrics that he needed, he still couldn't figure out whether he wanted the items addition to be made from the same type of material as the vanity macaroon chef outfit or something else entirely, that was if he was going to go down the route of the chef subclass.
Yawning and stretching his body as he moved through the wide open and barren streets of Londinium he really hoped that once the item pieces were all crafted and assembled, that they would eventually make something worthwhile and unique, if he couldn't sell them on, then he could use them himself, which meant that if he successfully added the tailoring reforge effect, that he would have more use for it.
As he walked he could help but wonder if his designs would be a hit with the adventurers in town or whether his business would fail, he had already managed to gain some business but not much at all. If he was honest with himself he really didn't care, of course it would have been a massive blessing to have his designs worn and appreciated, but if they weren't, the experience he gained for his crafting subclass was more than reward enough and as a result he would be able to craft twice as useful stuff, he just needed to stay focus and not let anything really get in the way of his crafting.
Zyrune managed to find his desired location with ease, it was a renowned fabric and tailor resource shop within Londinium that was popular with both people of the land and adventurers. The window displayed beautiful fabrics, strange colourful costumes and unique patterns that would look ridiculous on anyone if this hadn't previously been a game. Each one was displayed beautifully and he couldn't help but feel inspired to create something to rival them. Already Zyrune's inner tailor felt awed by the flawless designs, the druid guessed that the crafter was a really high level and that the mannequins must have been crafted by a really talent artist. He had been here several times before as the shop keeper was an old friend of the druids who had taken him under his wing when he first changed his subclasses to crafting.
The druid couldn't help but feel inspired as he gazed around the shop. Fabrics upon fabrics lay beautiful displayed around the shop, needles and threads too and even his ceiling was covered with fabrics here and there. What surprised the half-alv more was that the shop didn't just sell clothes, but also umbrellas, bags, shoes and a whole wall was dedicated to magic items that he would have loved to spend an afternoon learning about. Still the druid had a task at hand, even if it was his day off. He stood with a blank expression on his face as he examined a row of fabrics. Nearby he spotted a unique and rather astounding kimono, it was adorned with beautiful floral patterns, a light blue with orange and yellow details sown into it. Calmly the druid left the row of fabrics and approached the mannequin.
"How much?" Zyrune asked breaking the silence within the shop extending his hand to touch the fabric. It felt so soft and he could only imagine what it would feel like on his skin. Thankfully the man was generous and let the kimono go for 600 gold along with a variety of fabrics and tailoring equipment that he expected Zyrune would need. The druid was even surprised that the man offered to sell the druid's products if he made anything that impressed him.
Standing outside the shop, up to his nose in a variety of fabric, more so poking out of his magic bag, he felt determined to start his new projects as soon as he had returned to the crafting hub of the city, he had rented a shop space there called Vanities United two and it was where he did most of his tailoring crafts, of course if the weather was nice and he needed some air, he would head to a low level area where he could craft in peace as due to his level most monsters within those spaces refused to attack him.
Letting a calm breath pass over his chapped lips, the druid moved through the large station that served as the go to crafting hub for the entire city. The large doors seemed to creek as he pushed them open, against his chest he was barely managing to hold onto piles of fabric and equipment stuff into crates stacked on one another as he moved. It was a quite day, the place didn't seem as active as it normally did but then again it was still early on in the morning and as the station was quite as well lit as he had hoped he decided to go ahead and cast magic light. It was one of the latest new assets to his skill tree and he was pleased as a bright ball of light with a cute face appeared nearby. The spell was available to all regardless of class and normally it was used to light up a badly lit area just like the station was now.
Humming as he moved, Zyrune watched as his summon followed along next to him. The female plant seemed content to carry supplies just as he did and follow him as he moved. Eventually he managed to make his way towards his dedicated shop or work space or at least the floor that it was on. It was then that he noticed someone that he did not recognize and he couldn't help but smile. It was rather strange to see someone up as early as him ready to get into crafting, but nevertheless it was nice to see. "Morning, crafting anything good?" The druid inquired as he and his summon standing next to him held a tower of fabrics.

On a small counter to the side of the crafting mannequin, Dumah separated his numerous crafting resources into different stacks, separated by the actual material. In one stack was a small, yet sizable, stack of several sheets of fabric. In another stack was numerous spools of thread. In the third and final pile was nothing worth calling a stack; instead, Dumah had merely organized his sewing tools, such as his scissors, his numerous needles, and a sharp seam cutter. The final object Dumah had left on the counter was an open sketch book. The sketch book had been opened to a page with a sketch of a long hooded coat, or as they are more commonly referred to as, a hoodie. It had long enough coattails to be potentially mistaken for an ordinary trench coat, yet the coat's tail was cut oddly in the back, almost as if pointed with squares. Dumah smiled at his design, and as he began to craft the Soft Blanket he would need to make his finished project, a man walked into the crafting station, followed by a summoned pet. "Morning," said the man, "crafting anything good?" Dumah smiled to him and gave a small welcoming gesture with the hand he had under the black fabric. "Aye, at the moment I am simply crafting a Soft Blanket. However, it is not my end goal. I am trying to test if we can modify the design of a recipe item. My true goal is to make a Weatherproof Cloak, but redesigned to have more of a modern style. Instead of being an actual cloak, I am hoping to make a hooded coat with the same properties." As he said this, he finished crafting his Soft Blanket and set it aside. He then held up the sketch book to point it out. "This is my design." - 309 Words - - Total: 480 - OOC: I leave all of my threads open. It is an MMO, after all. With a smile, the druid listened intently as the adventurer explained his work. It only struck the half alv then that the two of them shared the same crafting class, that being tailor. A blanket seemed to be the current project, but it wasn't the only item that man wished to craft it seemed as he gestured to a sketch book that was laced with intricate drawings of weather proof cloak that looked quite impressive.
"Modify an existing recipe?" The druid repeated more for his own sake as he watched the man work. "That could work." The druid thought for a moment. Pursing his lips for a moment, he set his tower of boxes down on the ground before turning to his summon. "The shop is open, or at least it should be, can you please start putting things away, I want to start crafting." He gave the female a smile but it seemed to roll it's eyes for a moment before making it's way further down the hallway towards the Vanity United 2 work space.
Letting out a soft sigh, the half alv fumbled around in his magical bag for a moment before pulling out two large pieces of fabrics, one was large and fluffy and the second was soft and a shade of pink. "Do you mind?" The druid asked this time turning back to face Dumah. "I'd like to craft while we talk."
He paused for a moment allowing the adventurer to respond before sitting down on the ground with the pools of fabrics in his lap. It was a simply craft, at least his version of a blanket would be. He simply needed to connect the two fabrics and sow in a small design and it would be perfect. Setting to work immediately with a needle in hand, he focused on the work as he talked.
"A hooded coat might work, as long as it was all one item." He let out a gasp as he pricked his finger. "You would need to make the hood out of the same material but the lace the inside of it so that it was made of a suitable head wear material." He paused. "You know heavy enough so that the wind can't blow it backwards and thick enough so that if it rained, the adventurer wouldn't end up with wet hair.

The other Half-Alv man sighed softly as he fumbled through his magic bag, retrieving from it two large sheets of fabric; one large and seemingly soft; the other a soft shade of pink. The man looked to Dumah and spoke, "Do you mind?" He had a soft smile, and a friendly tone of voice. "I'd like to craft while we talk," the man continued.
Dumah returned the smile as he grabbed several of his own sheets of fabric. "By all means, I would love the company! My daughter is off doing a quest with a friend of mine, so I do not have the usual company of her being with me." The man began to make his hooded coat design for his Weatherproof Cloak, and he spoke as he made each pull of the needle between the fabric. "I am Dumah Exilium Iino! Benefactor of the people, and the leader of the Boston Tea Party raid group!" Dumah had a very cordial and friendly, yet especially formal, type of attitude and behavior.
With his response, the other Half-Alv sat down on the ground with his own fabrics in his lap. He seemed to be focused on his work, yet also able to speak without too much disruption. "A hooded coat might work, as long as it was all one item." He seemed to stab his finger a bit with the sewing needle, and he released a gasp. Dumah chuckled a bit and purposefully poked his own finger with his own sewing needle to show that he's grown callouses from sewing, and he smiled as he softly bragged about his fingers. The man continued. "You would need to make the hood out of the same material but then lace the inside of it so that it was made of a suitable head wear material." He paused a moment. "You know, heavy enough so that the wind can't blow it backwards and thick enough so that if it rained, the Adventurer wouldn't end up with wet hair."
Dumah held his chin a moment, pondering and contemplating on the fellow's words. "Hmm... Yes, perhaps... Though, I would think that it would protect from those sorts of occurrences simply because of the game, or due to being a Weatherproof Cloak itself. Would I need to use those separate materials for those cases? If possible, I would of course prefer to use a softer, more comfortable material. Something lighter than what you are suggesting... That way it would still be comfortable, and I would still be able to maneuver easily if I must fight while wearing it."

A soft sigh escaped the druid'slips as he set about constructing his blanket. The pink haired half alv seemed to be getting quick good at his tailoring, in fact since he had dedicated himself and bought a shop space, it seemed to be leveling up relatively easy, so easy that it was already level 31 and he seemed to be gaining a fairly decent customer base both with people of the land and adventurers.
However as Zyrune worked away threading the fabric together, he couldn't help but wonder if he would have been this successful with his original crafting class of artisan, pursing his lips in an effort to stop himself from groaning as he stabbed his finger, however it was well worth the pain, as he had successfully managed to create the item.
It wasn't a high level item and he could always edit it later on. Besides it wasn't like anyone was waiting nearby to quickly snatch up the latest blanket design from the druid however it was finished and it would suit him for the time being. So far he had been staying in the guild building and every second or third night would spend it in a tavern in order to give himself some space from his overly enthusiastic guild mates. They were a fun bunch, but without Saber around to guide the group, they pretty much did their own thing, more or less.
It wasn't exactly like what the druid had expected when he had been invited by the assassin. Since the day that Zyrune had been rescued by the man, the druid had been expecting great adventurers and goals that only the driven could achieve. However reality was far different. Sure the guild was nice and the members were honest hard working decent people. However Saber was a solitary person, preferring to spend his time alone and it was a wonder how he thought creating a guild would facilitate that.
Shaking his head, Zyrune smiled at Dumah as he introduced himself, however as placed the blanket to one side, he felt his face furrow in confusion. It was quite a title that Dumah had decided to give himself and to be honest Zyrune didn't know what to make of it. Benefactor of the people was one part and the druid assumed that it referenced people of the land and it wasn't that much of an effort to guess that perhaps Dumah liked to spend his time helping the people of the land when he could, that alone was admirable.
However the final part where he called himself the leader of the Boston Tea Party raid group. Sticking his tongue into his cheek, he couldn't help but wonder what that actually meant. The man's level wasn't exactly that high so it was clear that he hadn't exactly gone on any major raids at least not with the current Avatar that he now existed within. Perhaps he was referring to before Elder Tales became a reality, maybe it was a raid group that existed on a different server before the event, if that was the case perhaps by listing such a title, Dumah hoped to meet people who may have known him or may have known of the raid group previously.
That was an interesting idea, however Zyrune or Levi as he was known before all of this had only played on the Western European Server. As the half alv lost himself in thought he couldn't help but wonder what the amazing and beautiful city of Via de Fleur looked like now and if it had been through the same aging process as the Unfounded Kingdom. Via de Fleur was a very impressive town on the western european server as it was the Elder Tale version of the french city of Paris and the hub adventurer metropolis. Levi had several characters on the server and he loved the way they had recreated the Eiffel Tower. Things may have gone far different if the boy had been in one of those avatars during the time of the event, he would have been powerful and strong, he would have had more sway and he would have happier and familiar with the world. "Boston, what server was that on? I only played on the Western European Server before this one." The druid commented as his summon once again returned to grab some of the remaining supplies before leaving in the direction of the shop once more.
Still the thoughts of what had happened to the other servers lingered on his mind. But that was neither here nor there now was it. However as the blanket was finished, the druid decided that rather than sit and do nothing, it would be best to craft something else, something easy again so that it wouldn't require much work and he could focus on getting to know Dumah a little better. Taking out a large sheet of purple fabric, he started to cut large triangular shapes from one sheet of fabric. Once he had six pieces of the fabric cut out, he cut out eight long rectangular pieces that had rounded ends.
The druid was planning to create an Octopus plushy. It had been on his mind for quite some time to buy a house and he was starting to come close to having the funds that would needed to buy one, however once he got one, he would need stuff to place in it, to make it seem like home and an octopus plushy seemed to be an easier place to start than most. As he prepared his needle and thread once more, he cast a glance at the other adventurer.
"To be honest, if it was for myself I would make it from a decent durable water resistant fabric while also adding an enchant to it. The weatherproof cloak would really rely on the items level and the level of the wearer." He paused for a moment. "Adventurers feel the elements less and less as they level up, something to do with the flavor text or lore." He smiled as he started to thread two pieces of the purple triangular fabric together. "So if the item was a low level but the adventurer was high leveled, then they would compensate for the item lacked, just like a low level player would rely on a higher items protectiveness."

Dumah continued sewing together the several pieces of his Weatherproof Coat as he listened to the Druid. "Boston, what server was that on? I only played on the Western European Server before this one." It seemed the Druid, like many people before him, had misinterpreted the meaning behind the parody of a name for Dumah's raid party.
Dumah gave a crooked smile as he responded. "Well, it is not so much that we were a Raid Party stationed in Boston, but rather, the name of our party is a play on words, or a parody of sorts. I presume you have heard of the Japanese raid party, the Debauchery Tea Party? Well, a bit after this event, or The Apocalypse as everyone has taken to calling it, I decided to host a small event. I hung posters and notices all around town, advertising a public party to help the lower leveled players get some experience under their belts and get some levels. Many people joined, and we were forced to make a raid party due to our size. As this is the English server, I felt it was somewhat clever to parody the legendary raid group by naming ourselves the Boston Tea Party. We did not run any large raid quests or raid dungeons, but we did some large scale training and fighting, and we managed to gain quite a large amount of experience points! Actually, lately, I reunited with some of the members and we have been trying to start up an adventuring guild. I shall soon be the Guild Master of Noihara." He looked at his progress on his coat; it was coming along quite nicely.
The Druid listened to him and gave his response on Dumah's words regarding the materials to be used.
Dumah held his chin, pondering on these words. "Hmm... I had not thought of that, to be honest. I had heard rumors of flavor text coming true." The black haired Swashbuckler made a small chuckle. "Perhaps I should write the flavor text of this cloak to involve a large EXP bonus, or perhaps the luck to get rare drops constantly!" He smiled at his own joke. "You know, I do believe I never got your name, my friend."

Once the plushy was all stitched together, the druid would leave a hole at the top so that he could stuff it with material. Nodding to himself as he worked, he let his body focus on the work before him while paying attention to Dumah. "I could have used something like that." The half alv found himself muttering. His face turned slightly red when he realized that he had said it loud enough for the other adventurer to hear. "I didn't have the best of luck back then with leveling or meeting new people." He gave a shrug and a sigh of defeat.
Shrugging again the druid continued. Once the body and legs had come together, Zyrune began working on with the other black fabric he had laid out. He began making the pieces for the eyes and mouth. It took longer than expected but eventually he had sewn it together. "Sorry," Zyrune blushed scratching the back of his head. "I'm Zyrune, I run a small tailoring shop down the hall and I'm part of the House Of Crowns Guild." He gave a small nod to Dumah. "Running your own guild is very impressive, I can't seem to get my own affairs in order, let alone organise something like that." He paused as he began to stuff the body of the plushy.
"Do you have many members?" He paused again, the time to sew the hole shut after the body was sufficiently stuffed. "What is your guild going to do?" He knew that it was an adventuring guild, but that meant a lot of different things, would they be fighting in currently explored areas or helping explore brand new areas, would they be defending the people of the land. There was so much people could do. And yet as he wondered, he couldn't help but wonder if House Of Crowns was the right guild for him. Sure it was great and gave him access to plenty of resources, but he didn't have many friends there and Saber the leader was pretty much a solitary person who liked his space.
After he sewed and stuffed it, he sewed it onto the body at the top. He examined the product and was satisfied with the placement. Next, was the legs. The legs, from what he remembered, were pretty short. He sewed each of the legs into their spots. Now all was left was the eyes, mouth, and all the other things that required a little more sewing in order to look more like an octopus.
After attaching the pure black mounds of fabric onto the face where the eyes went, he began stitching with the purple thread. He began sewing the mouth onto the plushy too, and then nodded in satisfaction at the overall piece, but he was missing something. Grabbing a large piece of fabric he drew the outline for some glasses, or at least the frames anyway. Slowly he sewed the pieces together, stuffed it and then sewed it onto the main body.
With all his sewing done, he was satisfied and wondered what’d he’d do next. It was turning out to a productive morning.

Dumah started to make the final adjustments to his newly crafted Weatherproof Cloak as the other Half-Alv Tailor, Zyrune he claimed to be, spoke. "Do you have many members? What is your guild going to do?" Dumah spoke as he input the title and flavor text to his work. "We do not have too many members; perhaps enough to fill a basic party. As for what we plan to do, I am not one hundred percent certain, to be honest. I suppose - like I said - we shall adventure! We shall raid, explore new lands, and share many exciting discoveries together! We shall do all we must to help people - Adventurer and People of The Land alike. I suppose to put it simply, I plan to make the most of my time in this world. If we truly are immortal, our resurrections never ending, then we shall do what we must to ensure every new day brings a new adventure." He gave a smile and finished his work on his black and purple cloak, bearing the emblem for Noihara on its back in the dark purple shade Dumah chose as his coat's secondary color. He held the coat up and smiled at it. "The Dumahim Anorak of Hope. Tailored by the Hopeful Adventurer of Londinium, crafted from the accumulated wishes and hopes of all who empower and guide his righteous blades. In the face of despair, this hooded coat brings about a strong feeling of hope and perseverance in the wearer, capable of influencing such determination necessary to keep looking to the future in the face of despair. A light in the abyss, this coat symbolizes hope not only for the wearer, but for those they might encounter." He gave a bright smile as he finished reading off the name and flavor text description of his work. This small description managed to give another great answer to Zyrune's question regarding Noihara's cause. With this, Dumah smiled proud of his newest piece of work. Over his basic black shirt, he donned his coat and smiled.
