made by deltra of gangnam style Upon reaching that place within the blink of an eye, her first experience was nothing but frustration. Even with a blurry vision thanks to the sudden bursts of sunlight in her eyes, she still could feel the dizziness that came together with a size that wasn’t like hers at all. Once lying on the ground she finally came back to her conscience. There were a small crowd around her, many with different kinds of traits; be it pointed ears, animal ears and even unusual colors of eyes and hairstyles, coupled with varied physical conditions. It felt like fantasy, and upon sitting in the ground and looking at her surroundings, she could certainly tell; it wasn’t her small and comfy bedroom. That place was somewhere else and something else, something special, and she was lost on what to do from now on. After slipping away from the crowd in what she called temporarily as "center" Eve kept wlking around the city, sometimes tripping on her foots in false and dizzy steps, trying her best to gather information about the villagers in the surrounding area. Just as she thought those were different than the people in the center, as they seemed like they were just doing fine with their day to day affairs and had consistently different traits than those in the center. For the time being, Eve started to sort these two polar opposites of people. For her, the ones from the center would be labeled as players, and the others, NPCs. After some more meters of continuous walking, she finally reached a giant gate that would lead to a forest. With a heavy sigh she sat in a stone delving deep in her thoughts and planning what to do from now on. There were no signs of GMs and anything related to the official staff responsible for the game, so no answers were given to anyone else at that time. Eve, being one used to be limited by many aspects of reality now had a gigantic new world to explore: but for the first time was responsible for herself. What would she do? To begin with, what was all that about? What if she died? What about the monsters, the players? There was just so much information that she couldn’t tell at that moment what to do. Since sitting there would give no answers or whatsoever, the warden finally decided to explore what she had in the reach of her hands all this time, the user interface. Through using simple gestures, Eve could manage itens and such, as well as check her current skills and future available ones. After looking around she could also see information shown in her sight about everyone closer. This led to the solution of one of her questions, these tiny pieces of information labeled the inhabitants of this world as such; people of the land and adventurers. Judging by their respective behaviors, the former were NPCs and the latter, players. ▲ 495 WORDS ● TAGGED ● NOTES

made by deltra of gangnam style Now focusing in what she could do about herself with that god-like information tool in her hands, she fiddled with the menus and such about her; Eve had the usual starter gear, which wasn’t any kind of surprise to her. The chosen classes when the character was created were displayed at the top, together with a small portrait with basic information such as HP, MP name and guild information which in her case, was [guildless]. By tapping in the inventory section, she could finally get her supposed weapons, a starter rifle. After summoning the gun, she aimed just as her father taught her, and everything felt according to the real world. Was kind of game was that? Not wanting to startle anyone around, she unsommoned the gun, proceeding to check her class and subclasses status. By checking the crafting subclass window, she smiled while reading “Mechanic”, and following it was her roleplay subclass, Scholar. After checking their respective skills and looking around the state of that world, she smiled, wider than before. By opnening the user interface menu once again, she summoned her rifle, holding it tight and closer to her body. - I’m not gonna disappoint you, pops! – Eve hurried to the gate, heading towards the Windsor greatwoods. Despite the actual condition everyone was in, it was undeniable how beautiful that world was. Everything was new, the trees, the animals and the environment itself satisfied the hearts of those whom were thirsty for adventures, and Eve was no different than that. Many subsequent minutes passed and she finally could spot a prey; a poor young pittered boar outcast from its family; there wasn't any time for feeling bad on willing to take out such kind of enemy. By crouching she positioned her arms and buttressed the stock tightening the grip of her support hand her firing hand's declive, the right one. She positioned the hand guard in a way that it was in the mid of the "V" done by her index and thumb fingers. This should allow a more comfortable position and the recoil from the shots would be distributed over her entire body and not only the shoulders, avoiding possible pain. In fact, it looked like the hunting lessons she had in the real world were paying off. The victim wasn't moving a lot and therefore locking on to it went rather easy. Sharpening her eyes, she activated Enhancer, a buff skill of wardens. The weapon felt different for a second, but that wasn't so important. Selecting another skill from the menu, she chose Arrow Revolver. With everything set, The Warden pulled the trigger. The shot had a powerful impact aiming for the boar's right rear leg, in an attempt to hinder its movement. Unlike hunting, the prey wouldn't run if facing danger; those were monsters, and would surely charge at her if detecting any kind of aggression. The prey snorted, starting scraping the dirt with its frontal right leg, charging in a total unwieldy way thanks to the injury in its leg. Eve didn't move an inch, and the second time the trigger was pulled the target had been hit in the exposed head of the boar. With the impact, the creature collapsed to its right side disappearing into a surge of bubbles. A wide grin appeared in her face, while Eve got out of her hiding place, a simple bush high enough to fit her small size. Some potions and a few gold coins were laying on the ground. However, her temporary happiness wouldn't last long. In an instant, a huge force striked her whole left side throwing her at a meter or so distance, and it hurted. A lot. The pain from hitting the ground and the injury in her ribs from the sharp tusks that hit her made Eve understand everything. ▲ 639 WORDS ● TAGGED ● NOTES

made by deltra of gangnam style It wasn't any kind of game, not at all. It was raw reality. A second full force hit on her ribs made her scream and forcibly wake from that pain state; she rolled and stood up running from the beast, a pittered boar, which chased after her. After taking a moderate distance she turned to the monster crouching and aiming. Without much time for perfect aiming and the warden pulled the trigger as soon as possible, hitting it's right-most forehead. The beast grunted and shook it's head wieldly while still charging. Eve pulled the trigger again, a succesfull hit in it's head. The beast slowly and dizzyly kept on, while the warden pulled herself with her left hand on the dirt. With a false pull, her hand slipped and forced Eve to lay as her arm was her only support. At that split second, the girl remembered she had another skill, A cartridge one, Enhancer. -I still have Enhan..! - interrupted by a strong force one her legs, she could only gasp at the sight of the boar atop of her. Eve recovered and tried another shot, one to its belly. In fear, the last shot was fired from arrow revolver hitting the boar's head. The beast exploded in colorful bubbles, anima. Heavily wheezing, Eve kept laid down in the umid dirt for some minutes, staring at an azure sky with barely any clouds. All that resulted in a wary warden that started to doubt her own self. However, even with those thoughts in mind, with a soft groan Eve stood up to her feet picking up her weapon and going further in the forest. Time flew by and Eve only felt the difference when it was already late afternoon. Way too far from where she started her journey there was no way she could come back before night. With swift movements and a only a few tries, she climbed up one of the trees, ending up with a beautiful sight of the sunset. The large branches of the tree made everything better, as she could sit in whichever way she wanted. The view of that beatuty of nature made her heart warm as her eyes were bright and vivid. However, when the night came, the petite girl couldn't help but think about how she acted on her first sudden challenge. The thought of that happening again gave her chills; was she fit for all that? Was that what the woman wanted? Why should her try to start again and possibly rebuild everything? She felt confused and frightened. A girl that had everything set and ready for success in the real world felt weak and useless. The few last questions she asked herself gradually made her sad. With such a simple act in her new life happening being enough to shake her... Was Eve prepared for life after all? Even among all those negative thinkings, the thought of overcoming this new challenge and reach success made her gently smile, warmed and softened her heart once again. She quickly slept certain that she was safe for the time being and far from any threat. When morning’s warmth could finally reach her, the warden lazily stretched herself. It all felt so good that it was hard to believe how nature could make one that comfortable. She never felt any of that, often within air conditioned areas. Wih a wide smile in her lips, she snatched an apple and with a jump and descended from the tree. She had made up her mind. Eve was certainly going to join someone else in that new world, to experience these new things the best she could. In fact, the sole thought of venturing alone was against her own nature and was her biggest mistake. Venturing with a guild, party, or even a small group to talk to; rather than feeling sad for what happened she would take the challenge head on, not alone, but with good company. Talking alone and chuckling amidst her thoughts and possibilities, Eve headed back to Londinium. ▲ 676 WORDS ● TAGGED ● NOTES
