Thread reserved for Apoc, Ria, Musashi and Azure. Dinner was lovely, a feast created by the best chefs in all of digital London. But, Sylvia did not come for dinner, nor for the parade that came before or the fireworks that would soon begin. No, Sylvia came for one thing and one thing alone. Alcohol, to which she quickly found a nice secluded table early by one of the better known stalls. By now she had more then likely become a regular there with those drinking habits of hers. Sadly though, the man manning the stall was a new guy and did not recognize her. Which was an absolute shame. She might have been able to snag herself a few discounts if it was otherwise. It was a short wait, but well worth it. For soon after a few moments she had her first beer... wait this wasn't beer. Sylvie gripped her drink and stared at it oddly. "BAR KEEP! I asked for BEER! What the heck is this supposed to be?" It was off color, an odd rosy pink with a fruity and at the same time nutty bouquet. It smelt like one of those girly looking wine cooler drinks that her friends sipped. Was the guy trying to insult her? Sylvia's rage only grew as she sat there in silence, glaring at the drink in her hand while waiting for the man who served her to haul his rear over and answer her questions. When he finally did, she was incredulous at his answer. "Look here, you asked for the best I had, and this is the best I have. It is our most popular brew. If you don't like it, don't buy it again. No refunds." She scowled, but she was never one to turn down a drink, no matter how girly looking it appeared or smelled. She paid for the drink, so she would be a blasted fool not to drink it. Sniffing the beverage one last time she tilted the drink to her lips, and the rest of the night was an absolute blur. Sylvia found herself lying back in her chair, pleased as could be about everything and anything. This brew was alright. Sake. The name rolled off her tongue as smooth as the brew went down. She had heard of this stuff, a foreign drink from across the seas. But never before had she tasted it. And she had considered herself to be an alcoholic expert, HAH. Here she was drinking it for the first time and hailing the asian brewmasters as absolute heros. She would have to open her horizons more often and make it a point to taste creations from other lands. She would not rest now until she had tasted every type of brew in the world. This was now her goal. And perhaps she could even learn how to make them all along the way. For anyone who was to find her here, Sylvia would be huddled over a table in the far corner near the stall of her choice. The table was in excellent position to watch the soon upcoming fireworks, though she had not intended that at the time. The clear view of the sky was inviting, and the fact that the table she sat at had many extra chairs probably was more so. She had a feeling that other people might join her, but she was so drunk now that she hardly cared. Drinking buddies woo! Sylvia would probably be singing to herself very loudly by the time anyone wished to sit with her. Let the social bonding session begin. Notes: Drunk Sylvia is a social Sylvia. Weeee~

Words: 354 Apoc was amazed that there was a Chinese New Year celebration in the middle of what used to be London in this game. He decided to forgo studying the game to see what he could learn about this world and join the festival. After all, you need to give every muscle some time to rest, which includes the brain. He loved festivities in the morning. The parade was his favorite part.
Now that he has seen a few stalls with alcoholic drinks opening, he knew he should look for Sylvia. She was known to drink a lot in the real world by him and their other friends. He wanted to make sure she was alright until she called it a night. Luckily, he was able to find her at the place that he has saw her enter a few times during the evening. He really did not like alcohol establishments being the only member in their group in the real world that did not drink no matter how hard they have attempted to get him drunk, but alas he had to go into this one just to get to his goal, Sylvia.
After he enter the seating area, Apoc would go towards her table and notice that she was drunk. How did he know? She was singing. He would attempt to sneak up on her. She never liked this, but she was drunk. He would hope that she would "roll with the punches" and laugh at his poor attempt to scare her. When he got behind her, he would say to her, "So, are the drinks here good?"
After making his presence known, Apoc would take a seat that was one of the closest to Sylvia. Once he took a seat, he would lay the Grimoire he had equipped on the table. He would then look at Sylvia and say, "So, how have you been since our little battle outside the walls of the city?" He would listen to what Sylvia will say. Unfortunately, he was paying complete attention to her, so he would not notice if anyone else joined them at the table.

LIFE IS A TRICK and you only get one chance to learn it “’Scuse me,” Ria said, stepping to the side to avoid a rather drunk fellow that was hardly able to keep himself upright. Her own drink sloshed around and threatened to splash onto the cobblestones. Deciding that she’d better drink it down so it wouldn’t be in danger of spilling, Ria took a sizable gulp of the beer. It wasn’t exactly the best stuff she’d ever had, but it wasn’t the worst either. Figuring that it would do, Ria looked about for somewhere she could sit. The area was rather busy, but there were a few seats here and there. However, she wanted to be certain that she’d get a good view of the promised fireworks. She walked for a short ways; half wishing that some of her drinking buddies had made it into the game. Ria was used to drinking with the other police officers; they were about the only people who didn’t care too much about drinking with cops. The sound of singing reached her ears and she glanced over to see a couple of people at a nearly empty table. From what she could see, they certainly looked like they were having fun, although it seemed as though the singing was coming solely from a rather small woman. For a moment, Ria almost continued on, but then she paused. The table was perfectly positioned to watch the fireworks and having fun was certainly the point of a festival. Besides, nobody knew she was a police officer here, and perhaps she wasn’t one. After all, Ria doubted that her jurisdiction reached into weird fantasy game land. Here, she was just another person. That was probably a good thing too, if she was still working as a police officer then chances were that she’d have to work instead of enjoy herself at the festival. Instead, drinking until she felt like singing at the top of her lungs sounded like rather enjoyable. While she didn’t recognize what the woman was singing, Ria doubted that it would very difficult to learn. Getting to know other people who were stuck in this game alongside her certainly couldn’t hurt either; the last few days had certainly taught her that surviving in this world by herself would be a nearly impossible task. Her mind made up, Ria pushed her way through the people and set her drink on the table before sliding into an empty chair. “Mind if I join you?” she asked with a crooked grin, though it was hard to know if she was able to be heard over the crowd and the singing. It seemed to her as if the man who was sitting at the table was ignoring her completely. “Y’know,” she added, raising her voice to be more easily heard, “Have you ever tried to make your own hard liquor? I’ve heard it’s a whiskey business.” Ria’s grin widened; that had been a pretty good one. It seemed as though she was on the top of her game tonight and the evening had just begun. Azure was never really one for going out to festivals as such, but this player driven event was a sign of the times, showing that people were embracing this new world, and thriving; new recipes were being invented on a daily basis, and as the stalls re-opened the curiosity of what wonders were concocted for such a grand event became overwhelming.
Being active as an Adventurer over the past weeks had been rough due to the nature of the Monk Class, though it kept him active and paid for his cost of living well enough, and while using his skills as a Scribe had not been quite as boring as it originally sounded, he was becoming somewhat frustrated with his lack of progress in finding any new uses for this crafting class – as it was he'd only had the commission for copying maps, grimoires, and the occasional recipe book, but while these wrought their own rewards beyond simple profit, he had ambitions to make his own things – he wanted to create things that this world had never seen.
Trying to put his limited coin to good use was hard with so many shiny thing on display everywhere, but his biggest downfall was all the delicious food being paraded around – he could barely pass by a patisserie or candy stall without at least sampling something – life without flavoured food had been harder for most people to deal with than front-line combat, and he was no exception. With his stomach full and his inventory stocked with random goodies, he moved on to the next logical steps – getting sloshed and celebrating.
The pint glass he had ordered was filled with a fruity, nutty mead that reminded him of the alco-pops back home, and he knew that it wouldn't last long as soon as the flavour washed over him. “Better make it two!” he exclaimed, sliding some more coins across the makeshift bar. “Best wotch ya don't get mun'ed, mate!” the brewer replied jovially, giving Azure the impression that he may not have been all that old, possibly even under-age in the England of his home world. “Nah, she'll be right, mate – I got plenty experience under me belt!” he replied, laughing in kind as he took the second glass and looked for a place to sit.
It wasn't long before he spotted someone familiar; the girl he'd met when first meeting with Musashi after the Catastrophe was approaching a table where a man sat with a Grimoire in front of him while the woman sitting with him sang and drank. 'As inviting a scene as any..' he supposed as he made his way over to say hello, but just as he went to say something she let loose with one of the lamest puns he had ever heard, and all before he knew it he was already following it up with another.
“So they say, but I'm yet to see em produce much proof..” He covered his own widening grin by taking a large draught from his now two-thirds empty glass; he wasn't sure the drink was quite doing the trick yet, but the night was still young.

"See y'all around!" Musashi called to the crew cleaning up at the diner he'd been helping out at earlier in the day. He was glad to be out of there, exhausted as he was. They'd been expecting a number of customers coming for the Asian-inspired cuisine, but it'd been CRAZY in there. The festival really had put everyone into high spirits, with food, drink and song in great abundance. Speaking of drinks, that sounds like an excellent idea. He hadn't had any since his arrival here, and this was a celebration, after all. If he wasn't mistaken, the fireworks would be starting soon, so it'd probably be best to find a nice spot to relax for the big show as well a grab a quick drink. Looking about, it seemed as though there was quite the variety for sale, with everything from traditional spirits such as Sake and Soju to mixed drinks and cocktails. He quickly found a place that served one of his old favorites, the Bloody Mary, and ordered a tall glass of it. Made with tomato juice, salt, black pepper, a dash of lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce and vodka, it was a moderately complex cocktail that when properly mixed was equal parts spicy and tangy. It also tended to get Musashi very drunk because he could drink them fairly quick due to vodka not having much of a natural taste. Wandering about as he sipped from the glass, it didn't take him long to find a spot to sit; in fact, he'd been drawn by the singing of the young green-haired girl, and recognized a few of the people sitting at the table with her, most notably his friend Azure and the girl they'd met on the first day here. A sly grin crossed his face as he returned to the bar, ordering a large pitcher of Mead , the same stuff Azure was drinking, although he didn't know it at the time. His own drink in one hand and the pitcher in the other, he weaved through the crowd, careful not to spill any of the alcohol. Setting the pitcher on the table, he shot a wink at Ria and Azure. “Fancy meetin' you two here. You on a double date or something?”His playful grin only widened; he knew very well that they weren't, but it still amused him to no end to poke fun at people. Syliva grinned a crooked smile, oh Apoc, she knew she could always count on him for a good laugh. He always did know where to find her, was she really just that readable? Or was she really just that much of a drunk. It could have been either or really, and she would not deign to answer him until she took at least two more heavy droughts of her sake. "Damn good, juss.... juss like de ones at home. But... different. Has a twang to it, a good twang." She nodded to herself as if her words made perfect sense, a slight drawl in her phrasing made it plainly obvious that she was feeling more then a little bit of her drink. The girl took another drink, her eyes widening a bit as the boy pressed for more information. "Eh... good?" She wasn't quite sure what to say. After their initial venture into the woods, they had both parted ways. For the better they said so they could get used to the new world and everything that lay in it. She had almost forgotten, she had not even tried to make contact with him for the past several days. Tipping her drink towards her mouth she muttered a potential sorry into the cup before she took yet another drink. Hopefully loud enough for him to hear because the chances of her saying it again was pretty much nill. Together they would share a few quiet moments, basking in the company of one another, until that is another patron of the stand came to join them. Sylvia was quite surprised by the intrusion, but made no effort to shoo him away. "Tis a free country... at least.... I think it is. I don't even know really, is this even a country anyways? I don't even know. I know nothing." The girl lifted her eyes to the sky, squinting in deep thought as she pondered this. No, she couldn't really say that the land she was in really was considered free. There was far too many rules, far too many restrictions that governed everything from the most meaningless of things. While she was pondering this, she was NOT expecting such a pun. His comment would send the girl into a hysterical fit of giggles, accompanied at the end by a lone hiccup. When at last her fit had ended, she would fix her steely eyes upon Ria and point a finger in his direction. "You, I like you. Ayup." And then yet another sip. Of course when yet another patron came to join them, she was absolutely flabbergasted. Was there a sign or something around them that screamed she was the social type of person. She rather hoped not, she wasn't in the mood to keep welcoming strange people over to her table. Not in the least. Oh her poor sides, when was the last time she had laughed this hard. Azures lame pun so soon after Ria's was enough to make her nearly topple over her chair in roaring laughter. "SIT! SIT!" She slapped the table in front of her in emphasis. "Don't just stand there an everythang. Sit!" Grinning widely she welcomed these two strangers into the midst pretty easily for a woman who hated people. "See, now its a party. Good drink, good people" She nodded even as a third person came to join them. "Another? Aight, who wants to dance with me. Somebody dance with me!" Sliding out of her chair, she twirled with her hands held out around her, waiting for someone to take her up on her offer, or not. She probably wouldn't care either way. Notes: I haven't been feeling all to well, so this post isn't all too fantastic. But its a post ^^

Apoc would hear Sylvia's answers to his questions followed by what could have been a sorry that was mumbled. He did not hear the mumble correctly, but he did not think she would actually say it. Of course, she was drunk, so it would make sense if she did. But, he never thought she would say that word to him ever. He was about to ask what she was sorry about to make sure that he heard her right, but that was when people started to join their table.
At first, Apoc would not hear the lady that first joined Sylvia and him at the table. But, he did see her out of the corner of his eye when she sat down. He slightly jumped, and anyone that was keen in the eye would notice this slight jump in his seat. Then, she made a horrid alcohol pun. This was followed by a guy coming up and taking a seat near the lady that sat at the table, which was followed by another horrid alcohol pun. To Apoc, it seemed that the two new comers to the table may know each other as well. This was not evident by the two of them, but the third person that seemed to have met them before and mentioned a double date. Apoc would blush at this. After all, he did have some feelings for Sylvia. He just did not know what kind as of yet.
When Sylvia would ask for someone to dance with her, Apoc would not want to let any of the other guys take her up on her offer, so he took her up on her offer before anyone else could. This was due to a slight bite from the jealous bug or was due to his fear that he would lose her. As long as Sylvia did not abject to him dancing with her, he would follow her to where she was going to dance and attempt to dance with her. It was obvious that he was horrid at dancing just by looking at him. He would stumble a few times as well as be very stiff. He would dance with Sylvia until she decided to stop dancing. Once they were done, he would then follow Sylvia again. If they made it back to the table where they sat before, then he would look at the other three at the table to get a better look. He would then ask a simple question, "Do you guys know each other?" He did not know who they were but by their appearance they could be valuable in the future. You can never know when or where you will find some new allies to help you travel this new world.

And so Sylvia danced and she danced and she danced until her feet hurt and her face felt numb. When eventually she felt the need to return herself back to the table, she would have lost the pep in her step that she sported previously. With a wide and lady smile she would glance at each of the tables occupants before sliding into her chair, and subsequently sliding down said chair and onto the floor. It would take her a few moments of blinking lazily up at her table mates before it would register where she was. "Eh.... perhaps it's time for me to call it a night. Mmmmm.... probably. Yeah." Those would be her last words before she passed out where she was and for all purposes was dead to the world. Hopefully Apoc would be kind enough to see her home. And if not, well she was fine exactly where she was. Notes: This is an EXIT post~
