Among the many free workbenches in St. Pancras is one currently in use by a turqoise-haired Race of Ritual Shaman. The bench in question is different each day, but the sight is always the same; a table scattered with a variety of small projects and experiments, tools strewn around within arm's reach, busy hands moving from piece to piece as focus waxes and wanes, and a small sign that reads;

A slip of paper detailing roughly -- though the handwriting itself was very narrow and precise -- what seemed like a request would find itself slipping onto the bench, though who it came from would be hard to tell. The person in question isn't too far away, and would answer any questions if need be, but for now, he's fine with sticking to the drab grey walls and blending in. Written on the paper are the common recipe names, as well as the personal tailoring that the buyer wants out of them.

Cold Resistant Clothing

FELDGRAU JÄGER UNIFORM MKI: This is a military uniform for a single unit consisting of field grey coloring. Consists of a simple jacket over a thick shirt, and beneath that a pair of pants made of the same material. Unlike standard German uniforms, the collar on the jacket is not stiff. The only major protection comes on the elbows and knees, where there's pads to stop oneself from hurting his body on the environment. The pants are tucked into a pair of Bergstiefel, boots meant for climbing mountains. On the other side of the spectrum, there is a visored field cap set atop the head. This is not the best of makes, but it will do for now.

Weatherproof Cloak

FELDGRAU OVERCOAT: A simple grey overcoat to wear above clothing, this provides enough water resistance to get through a rainy night, and keeps one warm during the colder months.

Satchel Bag

JÄGER BUTT PACK: A pouch that uses a buckle like a belt does and wraps around the user's front, and rests on the lower back of the wearer. No wider than the body of the wearer, it is colored a dark grey, and it has a single pack held closed by a pair of buckles, which are easily detachable by anyone with a good sense of where they are positioned on the pouch themselves. Useful for carrying ammunition or anything one would need to grab quickly.

On the other side of the paper, written just as neatly, was a short list of possible researches or creations that a tailor might be able to make in the near future. A suggestion, if you will. One that, by no means, has to be followed through on, but would be appreciated nevertheless. The writer has even gone to the length of describing how simple it would be to make, and writes a few barebones instructions as to make the most out of the sheet of paper.

Bandolier

A tailor-made accessory that allows one to equip multiple weapons onto it and draw, swap, or reload them faster than through the inventory system. By having the weapons already there and on your person, however, you also have to bear slightly more weight. It can also carry individual rounds or magazines for firearms. Does not have to be a bandolier always, but has the same function regardless of whether it's a vest with ammo slots or etcetera.

Make a weapon sling like you would any other time. Add a few strips of leather onto it and boil them into hardness. That will make bullet slots. Make an extra weapon holder as well. Scabbards can work for both guns and swords.

Sling

A weapon that can be made by a tailor. Usually comprises of a single pad of leather tied with a rope and stones for ammo. Does not deal as much damage as most other forms of weaponry, but it is superior to the hands, and has a fair amount of range. The Tailor that crafts this item may rewrite its name and description.

Get some rope and tie it inside some leather. That is all there is to it.

Parachute

A finely tailored piece of cloth that is so tightly woven that it can, at high altitudes, cause one to float through the air and break falls. Its effectiveness is equivalent to its level.

I do not believe that you can make this at a lower level, however I also believe that with possible developments -- of which are my own plans -- you might be able to make this someday. Keep it in mind.

Basket

A simple, woven basket made from stiff fibers. Its size can vary.

Did an instructor of yours ever mention underwater basket weaving? Find some wicker and weave it together to make a basket. I will personally require a very large one, enough to fit a person inside.

At the very bottom of each side of the page, almost as a footnote, there are details for payment, as would be expected.

For the first three requests -- those that are already commonly known recipes, I am willing to pay your standard fees. For the researches, I am willing to negotiate on pricing, if only to come to a mutual agreement that benefits us both. I plan on creating a loom as well as a sewing machine using my own crafting skills; I will offer these to you free when the time comes, as well as you receiving a free item from my own shop whenever you complete one of the researches I have asked for. I would also be willing to research anything you would like personally. Name it and I will, to the best of my ability, create it. I look forward to whatever your thoughts are on this. --Empyrean
